WEST BANK

JERUSALEM

Raid

1. On the morning of October 29th 2018, Israeli forces raided Anata town and demolished a home {under construction} for allegedly being built with out a licence.
2. At 17:45, Israeli forces raided Hizma town, demolished a tent after storming it {which was set up for the wedding of Abed Fathi Kan'an} and again at 02:05 raided the town, clashed with several residents as they stormed and searched several homes and as a result left Abdel-Fattah Hassan Al-Khatib suffocated from tear gas inhalation, detained 2 residents then withdrew at 03:30.

Detention

Israeli forces detained Mohammad Hussien Mahmoud Askar and Tahreer Kifah Soliman Riziq Askar in Hizma town.

Attack

1. At 21:30, Israeli forces positioned in Batn Al-Hawa area located in Silwan neighborhood in Jerusalem city fired stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents for alleged stoning.
2. At 02:05, Israeli forces fired stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents for alleged stoning as they stormed and searched several homes during their raid into Hizma town and as a result left Abdel-Fattah Hassan Al-Khatib suffocated from tear gas inhalation.

House Demolition

On the morning of October 29th 2018, Israeli forces demolished a home {under construction} owned by Salah Mohammad Fahidat for allegedly being built with out a licence.

Obstruction of Places of Worship

At 09:00, a group of Israeli settlers under the protection of Israeli Military and Police officers stormed Al-Aqsa mosque compound and provoked worshipers.

RAMALLAH & AL BIREH

Flying Checkpoints

1. At 18:30, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Bir Ziet town then searched residents and vehicles until 20:00.
2. At 19:30, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Deir Abu Mash'al village then searched residents and vehicles.

Raid

1. At 23:50, Israeli forces raided Sinjil town , stormed and searched a home then withdrew at 01:40.
2. At 02:10, Israeli forces raided Bil'in village, detained a resident then withdrew at 03:45.

Detention

Israeli forces detained Taha Ibrahim Yassin in Bil'in village.

JENIN

Raid

At 03:20, Israeli forces raided Silat Al-Thaer town, stormed and searched several homes, detained 8 residents{including a customs Police force officer} then withdrew at 06:30.

Detention

Israeli forces detained 8 residents: Ahmed Walid Tawfiq Abu Diak{A customs Police Officer}, Salah Abdel Hamid Abu Diak, Ihab Abdel Moneim Rahal, Tarek Raed Abu Asaba, Kadri Abdel Gawad Khanfar, Adam Fawaz Hantouli, Hantouli Fawaz Hantouli, Hassan Ziad Hantouli in Silat Al-Thaher town.

Confiscation of Property

At dawn on October 29th 2018, Israeli forces confiscated 9000 NIS and surveillance camera footage from the home of Ahmad Abu Jildah during their raid into Jenin camp {As mentioned in the previous report}.

TUBAS

Flying Checkpoints

At 18:00, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint in the area between Tayassir and Al-Aqaba villages then searched residents and vehicles until 22:45.

TULKAREM

Military Checkpoints

At 15:40, Israeli forces intensified their restrictions at "Enav" military checkpoint and impeded the free flow of traffic.

Flying Checkpoints

At 23:00, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint near Beit Lid town junction then searched residents and vehicles until 00:25.

Raid

1. At 22:30, Israeli forces raided Tulkarem city and Shwikiya neighborhood, clashed with several residents as they stormed and searched several homes and detained 2 residents in Shwikiya neighborhood.
2. At 21:25, Israeli forces raided Baqa Al-Sharqiya town until 23:40.

Detention

Israeli forces detained 2 residents: Majid Zidan Abu Shiykhat Na'ulat and Imran Hussni Abu Ahmad in Shwikiya neighborhood in Tulkarem city.

Attack

At 24:00, Israeli forces fired rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents for alleged stoning as they stormed and searched several homes during their raid into Shwikiya neighborhood in Tulkarem city.

QALQILIYA

Flying Checkpoints

1. At 17:20, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Immatin village, temporarily detained 3 residents {including a customs Police force officer} then released them at a later time.
2. At 17:35 and again at 01:00, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the east entrance of Qalqiliya city then searched residents and vehicles until 02:30.

Raid

1. At 18:55, Israeli forces raided Azzun town, detained 2 residents then withdrew at 23:00.
2. At 19:25, Israeli forces raided Jayyous town, clashed with several residents as they stormed and searched several homes, detained a child, temporarily detained 4 residents {including 2 children} then released them at a later time.

Detention

1. Israeli forces detained 2 residents: Adham Thib Mahmoud Hussein and Madin Mohammed Abdul Rahman Dabourin Azzun town.
2. Israeli forces detained the child: Yazzid Jihad Abdel-Hamid Qa'dan {16 Years old} on Jayyous town.

Temporary Detention

1. At 17:20, Israeli forces positioned at a flying checkpoint at the entrance of Immatin town temporarily detained 3 residents {including a customs Police force officer}: Officer Bassem Samir Sawan, Samir Abdel Qader Sawan and Hamam Sawan then released them at a later time.
2. At 19:25, Israeli forces temporarily detained 4 residents {including 2 children}: Obada Salah Khaled {14 years old}, Fayez Hayel Selim {16 years old}, Mourad Naeem Beida, and Ous Mutathaqill Fayez Shamasneh then released them at a later time.

At 19:25, Israeli forces fired stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents for alleged stoning as they stormed and searched several homes during their raid into Jayyous town.

NABLUS

Military Checkpoints

At 19:45, Israeli forces intensified their restrictions at Huwara military checkpoint and impeded the free flow of traffic.

Flying Checkpoints

1. At 10:50, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint along Al-Bithan road {located at the east entrance of Nablus city}, detained 2 residents {including Palestinian Intelligence Agency officer} then withdrew at 15:50.
2. At 15:35, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint near "Shavie Shamron" settlement junction then searched residents and vehicles.

Raid

At 03:10, Israeli forces raided Nablus city , detained 2 residents then withdrew at 05:35.

Detention

1. At 13:00, Israeli Military {Special Force unit} detained 2 residents: Majid Amjad Nathmi Juma'at {A resident of Al-Ramat village in Jenin district} and Nabil Mohammad Abdel-Jabir Khanfar {A resident of Silat Al-Thaer town in Jenin district}.
2. Israeli forces positioned at a a flying checkpoint located along Al-Bithan road {located at the east entrance of Nablus city}, detained 2 residents {including Palestinian Intelligence Agency officer}: Officer Hazim Fawzi Ammar {a resident of Kafr Qalil village} and Mohammad Mahmoud Ahmad Daraghma {a resident of Tubas city}.
3. Israeli forces detained 2 residents: Samer Sa'id Ma'rouf and Abdallah Fu'ad Marouf in Nablus city.

New Military Post

On October 28th 2018, Israeli military forces installed a new military post near Jit village which bis located between Nablus and Qalqiliya districts.

SALFIT

Flying Checkpoints

At 18:35, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the west entrance of Deir Istiya town then searched residents and vehicles.

BETHLEHEM

Flying Checkpoints

At 11:40, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the North entrance of Teqou' town then searched residents and vehicles until 12:50.

Raid

1. At 12:40, Israeli forces raided Al-Khader town and randomly opened fire towards several residents then withdrew at 13:00.
2. At 16:20, Israeli forces raided Al-Faradis village , stormed a home then withdrew at 16:30.

Detention

1. At 15:20, Israeli forces detained Issa Jamil Al-Amour {a resident of Teqou' town} as he was reporting to Israeli Intelligence for questioning based on a prior summon.
2. At 19:15, Israeli forces detained the child: Majdi Salim Al-Badan {13 years old}{a resident of Teqou' town} as he was reporting to Israeli Intelligence for questioning based on a prior summon.

Attack

At 12:40, Israeli forces randomly opened fire towards several residents during their raid into Al-Khader town.

Confiscation of Property

At 14:50, Israeli forces confiscated a container owned by Abdallah Yusef Abu Hamad from a plot of land located near Marah Rabah village.

HEBRON

Raid

1. On October 29th 2018, Israeli forces raided Yatta town and detained a resident.
2. At 09:10, Israeli forces raided Sinjir neighborhood in Hebron city then stormed and searched a home
3. At 23:35, Israeli forces raided Hebron city then stormed and searched 2 homes.

Detention

1. On October 29th 2018, Israeli forces detained the child: Thaer Yunis Ahmad Al-Rajabi {14 years old}{A resident of Hebron city} as he was reporting to Israeli Intelligence for questioning based on a prior summon.
2. Israeli forces detained Islam Abdel-Halim Hushiya in Yatta town.

Temporary Detention

At 11:15, Israeli forces positioned at Abu Al-Rish Military checkpoint located in the Old city of Hebron temporarily detained Muntasir Fayiz Al-Jamal then released him at a later time.

Attack

At 13:00, Israeli forces positioned near Tariq Bin Ziyad school junction located in the old city of Hebron fired stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents for alleged stoning.

Destruction of Property

At 11:15, Israeli forces uprooted 200 Olive tree's {which were planted 10 years ago}, demolished concrete and steel fencing surrounding the plot of land owned by Hijazi Mohammad Al-Tarshan for allegedly being too close to the separation wall and also leveled a plot of land owned by Soliman Mahmoud Al-Da'im and removed steel fencing surrounding a plot of land owned by Hazim Al-Amlat in Khirbeit Kharouf area located in west Beit Ola town.

Settlers Attacks

At 14:00, Israeli settlers stormed 3 homes owned by Arafa, Al-Awawyi and Al-Hamouz families in the old city of Hebron.

GAZA STRIP

ALL DISTRICTS

• Since 19:00 on August 26th 2014, Palestinian Gunmen and the Israeli military agreed to a cease fire agreement (brokered by the Arab Republic of Egypt) which includes the opening of border crossings to allow the entry of emergency supplies and humanitarian goods as well as construction material and agreed to increase the fishing limit to 6 nautical miles with possibility of increase to 12 nautical miles by the end of the year and to decrease the Military area to 100 meters, allow freedom of movement and a halt to targeted killings and assassinations and negotiations will be held for discussion on rebuilding the seaport and airports and on May 4th 2017, Israeli authorities increased the fishing limit to 9 nautical miles from Wadi Gaza until the south border of the Gaza strip and on June 26th 2017 Israeli forces decreased the fishing limit back to 6 nautical miles and on October 17th 2017, Israeli forces increased the fishing limit back to 9 nautical miles and on December 12th 2017 reduced fishing area from 9 nautical miles to 6 nautical miles south of Wadi Gaza and opposite to Rafah and on July 17th 2018, Israeli forces reduced the fishing area from 6 nautical miles to 3 nautical miles, On August 15th 2018, Israeli forces increased the fishing area from 3 nautical miles up to 9 nautical miles from the coast of Al-Badeir area located in Central Gaza up to Rafah district located South of the Gaza strip and on October 6th 2018, Israeli forces decreased the fishing limit to 3 nautical miles to the all Gaza strip coasts and on October 23rd 2018 increased the fishing limit to 6 nautical miles to the all Gaza strip coasts.

• The Israeli Military broke the ceasefire agreement by raiding North Gaza district.

NORTHERN GAZA

Closure of Crossing Points

* Beit Hanun (Erez) crossing is partially open for the passage of critical patients, journalists, NGO staff, businesspersons and passengers travelling abroad through Al-Karama crossing with previous coordination.

Raid

At 08:100 on October 29th 2018, Israeli forces escorting Military bulldozers stormed 50 m into the vicinity of North West Beit Lahiya town and opened fire as they leveled a plot of land then withdrew at 14:00.

Attack

1. At 15:00 on October 29th 2018, Israeli Naval vessels fire live ammunition , stun and tear gas canisters towards approximately 15 fishing boats {sailing in protest} off the shores of Al-Sudaniya area located in west Beit Lahiya town until 18:00.
2. At 15:00 on October 29th 2018, Israeli forces positioned behind the Green Line fired live ammunition, rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas canisters towards several demonstrators in North West Beit Lahiya town during the march of return and as a result killed a resident, injured 20 residents {including a Paramedic} and left 46 others suffocated from tear gas inhalation.

Killings

Israeli forces killed Mohammad Abdel-Hay Abu Obadat {27 years old}{A resident of Ash-Shati' camp in Gaza city} after opening fire towards demonstrators in North West Beit Lahiya town.

Injuries

Israeli forces injured 20 unidentified residents {including a paramedic} after opening fire towards demonstrators in North West Beit Lahiya town.

GAZA

Closure of Crossing Points

* Al-Muntar (Karni) Crossing is closed. Beginning on 02 March 2011, the Crossing has been effectively closed following a unilateral Israeli decision.
* Al-Shija’iya (Nahal ‘Oz) Crossing is closed. Beginning on 04 January 2010, the Crossing has closed following a unilateral Israeli decision..

RAFAH

* Yasser ‘Arafat International Airport remains closed.
*Rafah (Al ‘Awdah) Crossing is open for the exit and entry of residents.
* Sufa Crossing is closed.
* Karm Abu Salem (Karem Shalom) Crossing is partially open for the entrance of Humanitarian aid, limited supplies of Diesel fuel and construction material for Internationally funded projects.
