DAILY SITUATION REPORT

WEST BANK

JERUSALEM

Raid

At 20:00, Israeli forces raided the village of Al-Issawiya and detained a citizen.

Detention

1. At 11:00, the occupation forces detained 2 citizens Muhammad Mahmoud Abu Al-Hawa and Haitham Nasim Khwais. in Al-Tur neighborhood in Jerusalem.
2. At 19:00, the occupation forces detained Abdullah Alqam in Wadi Al-Joz neighborhood in Jerusalem.
3. On the evening of 10/29/2020, the occupation forces detained Raeda Saeed al-Khalili - while she was leaving the Al-Aqsa Mosque in the Old City of Jerusalem.
4. Detained in the village of Al-Issawiya is: Muhammad Ashraf Abeed.

Temporary Detention

1. On the morning of 10/29/2020, the Israeli occupation forces detained the citizen: Fadi Al-Mutamour, in Wadi Al-Joz neighborhood in Jerusalem, and released him at a later time.
2. On the evening of 10/29/2020, the occupation authorities in the city of Jerusalem imposed house detention on 2 citizens for a period of 5 days, as a condition for their release, namely: Jihad Qus, and Ruhi Kulghasi.

Deportation

On 10/28/2020, the occupation authorities in Jerusalem issued a decision to deport the citizen: Najeh Bikirat (Deputy Director General of the Jerusalem Endowments) for a week from Al-Aqsa Mosque, as a condition for his release after he was arrested earlier.

Obstruction of Places of Worship

At 08:30, a group of extremist settlers, under the protection of the Israeli police, stormed the courtyards of Al-Aqsa Mosque, and conducted provocative tours in its courtyards and facilities.

RAMALLAH & AL BIREH

Flying Checkpoints

At 12:15, the occupation forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance to Sinjil town, to search cars and verify citizens' identities.

JENIN

Attack

At 23:55, the occupying forces, present in the vicinity of the Jalameh checkpoint, shot at a vehicle carrying 3 children, seriously wounding (one of them -), under the pretext that unknown persons opened fire at the occupation forces in the vicinity of the checkpoint).

Injuries

The 3 wounded as a result of shooting by the occupation forces in the vicinity of Jalameh Checkpoint: Mahmoud Ahmed Musa Khalil, 15 years old (seriously injured), Taha Shady Al-Samen, 16 years old, and Muhammad Zakaria Al-Zubeidi, 17 years old (all residents of Jenin camp).

TULKAREM

Raid

1. At 14:20, Israeli forces raided Tulkarm city, and patrolled until 15:00.
2. At 14:55, Israeli forces raided the town of Balaa, where clashes took place with the citizens while they were on patrol.

Attack

At 14:55, the occupying forces fired sound and tear gas canisters at the citizens, during their raid into the town of Bala, on the pretext that they had been throwing stones while on patrol.

QALQILIYA

Raid

1. At 19:40, Israeli forces raided the city of Qalqilya, and clashes took place with the citizens while they were on patrol.
2. At 21:00, Israeli forces raided Jayyus town, and clashes took place with citizens while on patrol.

Attack

1. At 19:40, the occupation forces fired stun grenades and tear gas canisters at the citizens, during the storming of Qalqilya, on the pretext that they had been thrown with stones while on patrol.
2. At 21:00, the occupation forces fired sound and tear gas canisters at the citizens, while storming Jayyus, on the pretext that they had been throwing stones while on patrol.

SALFIT

Flying Checkpoints

At 20:35, the occupation forces set up a checkpoint at the western entrance to the town of Kafr al-Dik, to search cars and verify citizens' identities until 21:00.

Detention

At 21:10, the occupation forces positioned at the entrance to the town of Kafeel Haris detained the child: Imad Mahmoud Al-Qaq, 17 years old.

JERICHO

Raid

At 07:40,Israeli forces raided Jericho city, and conducted a patrol.

BETHLEHEM

Flying Checkpoints

1. At 16:35, the occupation forces set up a checkpoint at the western entrance to the town of Beit Fajjar. The checkpoint was established repeatedly at 21:25 to search cars and check citizens' identities until 23:00.
2. At 18:25, the occupation forces set up a checkpoint near the Al-Nashash area junction (the southern entrance to Bethlehem), to search cars and check citizens' identities until 19:45.

Detention

At 13:10, the occupation forces positioned a military checkpoint detained Muhammad Saleh Abu Aker - residents of Aida camp in Bethlehem.

HEBRON

Flying Checkpoints

1. At 15:00, the occupation forces set up two checkpoints at the entrances to the towns of Beit Ummar and Sa'ir, to search cars and verify citizens' identities.
2. At 18:45, the occupation forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance to Al-Arroub camp, to search cars and verify citizens' identities.

Raid

At 22:55, Israeli forces raided Hebron city and detained a citizen.

Detention

The detainee in Hebron is: Bassam Al-Qawasmi.

GAZA STRIP

ALL DISTRICTS

• At 19:00 on 26/08/2014, the permanent and comprehensive ceasefire came into effect with the initiative and patronage of the Arab Republic of Egypt, after reaching understandings to open the crossings, the introduction of humanitarian and relief aid and reconstruction requirements, and expanding the fishing area to a distance of 6 miles with the increase in distance Up to 12 miles by the end of this year, reducing the "security buffer" zone from 300 meters to 100 meters, freedom of movement and preventing assassinations. Other issues, including the airport and the port, will be negotiated within a month of the ceasefire.

• On the morning of June 28, 2019, the occupation forces allowed the expansion of the fishing distance from opposite the Al-Waha area northwest of the town of Beit Lahiya in the northern Gaza governorate and up to the Gaza port by a distance of 6 nautical miles, and from opposite the Gaza port to the south of the coast of Rafah to 15 nautical miles.
• On 01/09/2020, the occupation forces re-expanded the fishing distance from the front of the Al-Waha area northwest of the town of Beit Lahia in the northern Gaza governorate and up to the Gaza port by a distance of 6 nautical miles, and from opposite the Gaza port to the south of the coast of Rafah to 15 nautical miles. After it imposed on 08/16/2020 a complete closure on the maritime domain in front of the fishermen's boats in front of the Gaza Strip.
• The occupation forces violated the cease-fire, firing from their positions on the Green Line in Khan Yunis Governorate.

NORTHERN GAZA

Closure of Crossing Points

* Beit Hanoun Crossing - "Erez": On 10/29/2020, it is closed (except for the passage of emergency humanitarian cases).

GAZA

Closure of Crossing Points

* Al-Muntar-Karni crossing: closed since 02/03/2011, permanently, and by unilateral Israeli decision.
* The Shejaiya Crossing - “Nahal Oz” for fuel: closed since 04. 01. 2010 by an Israeli unilateral decision.

KHAN YUNIS

Attack

1. At 08:00 on 10/29/2020, the occupation forces fired from their positions on the Green Line, towards agricultural lands east of the town of Khuza'a, east of Khan Yunis.
2. At 07:00 today 10/30/2020, the occupation forces fired from their positions on the Green Line, towards agricultural lands east of Abasan town, east of Khan Yunis.

RAFAH

Closure of Crossing Points

* Yasser Arafat International Airport: closed.
* Sufa Crossing: closed.
* Kerem Shalom Crossing - “Kerem Shalom”: on 10/29/2020, partially open (for the entry of Humanitarian aid, goods and building materials, and limited quantities of fuel).
* Al-Awda- Rafah crossing: on 10/29/2020 is closed.
