WEST BANK

JERUSALEM

Detention

On October 30th 2018, Israeli forces detained 2 residents: Zuhier Al-Rajabi and Baha Al-Rajabi in Silwan neighborhood in Jerusalem city.

Temporary Detention

At 12:50, Israeli forces temporarily detained 5 residents: Karam Raed Obada, Eyad Bashir, Hassan Obada Faris Awisat and Nabil Bashir in Jabal Mukabir neighborhood in Jerusalem city and Sur Baher village then released them at 20:00

Obstruction of Places of Worship

At 09:30, a group of Israeli settlers under the protection of Israeli Military and Police officers stormed Al-Aqsa mosque compound and provoked worshipers.

RAMALLAH & AL BIREH

Flying Checkpoints

1. At 17:05, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Al-Nabi Saleh village then searched residents and vehicles.
2. At 22:50, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Beit Rima town then searched residents and vehicles.

JENIN

Flying Checkpoints

At 16:55, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at Ajja village junction then searched residents and vehicles.

Raid

1. At 21:05, Israeli forces raided Arraba town and Bir Al-Basha village until 03:50.
2. At 00:20, Israeli forces raided Al-Yamoun town, Zubaba, Al-Taybeh, Rumana and Faqu'a villages , detained a resident after storming and searching his home in Faqu'a village then withdrew at 06:20.
3. At 00:20, Israeli forces raided Al-Silah Al-Harthiya town then stormed and searched 2 homes.

Detention

Israeli forces detained Mohammad Addnan Mussad in Faqu'a village.

TULKAREM

Raid

1. At 19:55, Israeli forces raided Rammin, Kur and Kafr Sur villages until 21:55.
2. At 22:10, Israeli forces raided Tulkarem city, Shweika neighborhood, Al-Jaroushiya and Far'oun villages , clashed with several residents in Shweika neighborhood as they stormed and searched several homes.
3. At 00:25, Israeli forces raided Zieta town, detained a resident then withdrew at 05:15.

Detention

Israeli forces detained Layth Mohammad Ali Abu Hamadat in Zieta town.

Attack

At 22:10, Israeli forces fired stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents for alleged stoning as they stormed and searched several homes during their raid into Shweika neighborhood in Tulkarem city.

QALQILIYA

Flying Checkpoints

1. At 14:45, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the east entrance of Qalqiliya city then searched residents and vehicles.
2. At 20:15, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Hablah town tunnel {located at the south entrance of Qalqiliya city} then searched residents and vehicles.

Raid

1. At 20:50, Israeli forces raided Far'ata village.
2.At 20:50, Israeli forces raided Azzun town.
3. At 23:55, Israeli forces raided Assalat village.

NABLUS

Flying Checkpoints

At 19:25, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint near "Yitshar" settlement junction then searched residents and vehicles.

Raid

1. At 16:30, Israeli forces raided Burqat village.
2. At 17:40, Israeli forces raided Kafr Qalil village and clashed with several residents as they stormed and searched 9 homes.
3. At 17:20, Israeli forces raided Beit Dajjan village.
4. At 19:10, Israeli forces raided Burqa village and detained a resident.
5. At 23:30, Israeli forces raided Assira Al-Qibliya village until 06:00.
6. At 01:15, Israeli forces raided Orif village until 03:30.
7. At 03:10, Israeli forces raided Einbuis village until 03:25.
8. At 04:20, Israeli forces raided Aqraba town until 07:40.

Detention

Israeli forces detained Sayf Qassim Hamdan in Burqa village.

Attack

At 17:40, Israeli forces fired stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents for alleged stoning as they stormed and searched several homes during their raid into Kafr Qalil village.

Settlers Attacks

On October 30th 2018, Israeli settlers from "Yitshar" settlement stormed agricultural land in Huwara town and installed tents on a plot of residential owned land which is 100 m away from the settlement.

SALFIT

Flying Checkpoints

1. At 08:20, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Qarwat Bani Hassan town then searched residents and vehicles.
2. At 09:45, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the west entrance of Deir Istiya town then searched residents and vehicles.

Raid

At 20:55, Israeli forces raided Yassuf village until 21:55.

JERICHO

Settlers Attacks

On October 29th 2018, A group of settlers were discovered to have been taken to a "deserted" camp near the settlement of Masouka, located near the 90th line in the Jordan Valley area. Some 12 settler families moved into six buildings inside the camp in an attempt to establish a new settlement.

BETHLEHEM

Flying Checkpoints

1. At 11:50, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the North entrance of Teqou' town then searched residents and vehicles.
2. On the evening of October 30th 2018, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the North entrance of Teqou' town then searched residents and vehicles.

Raid

1. At 11:15 and again at 20:30, Israeli forces raided Al-Khader town until 02:15.
2. At 19:20, Israeli forces raided Nihalin village until 21:00.
3. At 20:20, Israeli forces raided Beit Jallah city until 02:15.

HEBRON

Flying Checkpoints

At 10:15, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Al-Thahriya town then searched residents and vehicles.

Raid

1. At 00:25, Israeli forces raided Hebron city.
2. At 01:15, Israeli forces raided Sa'ir town.

Detention

At 23:35 on October 29th 2018, Israeli forces detained 3 residents: Ammar Abdel Rahim Attia, Nasr Abdel Rahim Attia, and Alaa Mohammed Attieh during their raid into Hebron city {As mentioned in the previous report}.

Attack

At 17:00, Israeli forces positioned at Jabal Juhar area located in the old city off Hebron fired stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents for alleged stoning.

GAZA STRIP

ALL DISTRICTS

• Since 19:00 on August 26th 2014, Palestinian Gunmen and the Israeli military agreed to a cease fire agreement (brokered by the Arab Republic of Egypt) which includes the opening of border crossings to allow the entry of emergency supplies and humanitarian goods as well as construction material and agreed to increase the fishing limit to 6 nautical miles with possibility of increase to 12 nautical miles by the end of the year and to decrease the Military area to 100 meters, allow freedom of movement and a halt to targeted killings and assassinations and negotiations will be held for discussion on rebuilding the seaport and airports and on May 4th 2017, Israeli authorities increased the fishing limit to 9 nautical miles from Wadi Gaza until the south border of the Gaza strip and on June 26th 2017 Israeli forces decreased the fishing limit back to 6 nautical miles and on October 17th 2017, Israeli forces increased the fishing limit back to 9 nautical miles and on December 12th 2017 reduced fishing area from 9 nautical miles to 6 nautical miles south of Wadi Gaza and opposite to Rafah and on July 17th 2018, Israeli forces reduced the fishing area from 6 nautical miles to 3 nautical miles, On August 15th 2018, Israeli forces increased the fishing area from 3 nautical miles up to 9 nautical miles from the coast of Al-Badeir area located in Central Gaza up to Rafah district located South of the Gaza strip and on October 6th 2018, Israeli forces decreased the fishing limit to 3 nautical miles to the all Gaza strip coasts and on October 23rd 2018 increased the fishing limit to 6 nautical miles to the all Gaza strip coasts.

• The Israeli Military broke the ceasefire agreement by opening fire from their positions behind the Green Line towards Gaza, Central Gaza and Khan Yunis districts and as a result injured a resident.

NORTHERN GAZA

Closure of Crossing Points

* Beit Hanun (Erez) crossing is partially open for the passage of critical patients, journalists, NGO staff, businesspersons and passengers travelling abroad through Al-Karama crossing with previous coordination.

GAZA

Closure of Crossing Points

* Al-Muntar (Karni) Crossing is closed. Beginning on 02 March 2011, the Crossing has been effectively closed following a unilateral Israeli decision.
* Al-Shija’iya (Nahal ‘Oz) Crossing is closed. Beginning on 04 January 2010, the Crossing has closed following a unilateral Israeli decision.

Attack

1. At 14:00 on October 30th 2018, Israeli forces positioned behind the Green Line opened fire towards several residents near the border fence in east Gaza city.
2. At 19:30 on October 30th 2018, Israeli forces positioned behind the Green Line fired live ammunition, rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas canisters towards several demonstrators near east Gaza city during the march of return.

CENTRAL GAZA

Attack

1. At 16:00 on October 30th 2018, Israeli forces positioned behind the Green Line fired live ammunition, rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas canisters towards several demonstrators in south east Deir Al-Balah city participating in the right of return march and as a result injured a resident.
2. At 19:30 on October 30th 2018, Israeli forces positioned behind the Green Line fired live ammunition, rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas canisters towards several demonstrators in east Al-Buriej camp participating in the right of return march.

Injuries

Israeli forces injured a unidentified residents after opening fire towards several demonstrators in south east Deir Al-Balah city.

KHAN YUNIS

Attack

At 19:30 on October 30th 2018, Israeli forces positioned behind the Green Line fired live ammunition, rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas canisters towards several demonstrators near east Khuz'a town located in east Khan Yunis city during the march of return.

RAFAH

Closure of Crossing Points

* Yasser ‘Arafat International Airport remains closed.
*Rafah (Al ‘Awdah) Crossing is open for the exit and entry of residents.
* Sufa Crossing is closed.
* Karm Abu Salem (Karem Shalom) Crossing is closed {with the exception for the entry of limited supplies of Diesel fuel for the the main electricity generator}.
