DAILY SITUATION REPORT

WEST BANK

JERUSALEM

Raid

On October 30th 2019, Israeli forces raided Al-Eisawiya village and detained a child.

Detention

Israeli forces detained the child: Mohammad Khalid Kuliyab {16 years old} in Al-Eisawiya village.

Obstruction of Places of Worship

At 09:00, a group of Israeli settlers under the protection of Israeli Police forces stormed Al-Aqsa mosque compound and provoked worshipers.

RAMALLAH & AL BIREH

Flying Checkpoints

At 21:45, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Um Safa village then searched residents and vehicles.

Raid

1. At 24:00, Israeli forces raided Um Safa village and detained a resident.
2. At 03:40, Israeli forces raided Ramallah city, clashed with several residents as they stormed and searched several homes, detained 2 residents {including a woman} and took measurements of 2 homes owned by the family of Samer Al-Arbid and Waleed Hanatsha in order to prepare them for demolition.
3. At 05:30, Israeli forces raided Kafr Na'ma village , detained a resident then withdrew at 06:00.

Detention

1. Israeli forces detained Ammar Abed Sabah in Um Safa village.
2. Israeli forces detained 2 residents: Khalida Jarrar and Ali Jaradat in Ramallah city.
3. Israeli forces detained QWard Mohammad Hussien Obada in Kafr Ni'ma village.

Attack

At 03:40, Israeli forces fired rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents for alleged stoning as they stormed and searched several homes during their raid into Ramallah city.

TULKAREM

Detention

At 19:15, Israeli forces positioned at a military checkpoint detained Mohammad Billal Abdel-Jabbar Amarana {a resident of Tulkarem camp}.

QALQILIYA

Flying Checkpoints

1. At 17:00, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Izbit Al-Tabib village then searched residents and vehicles.
2. At 20:30, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the east entrance of Qalqiliya city then searched residents and vehicles.

Raid

At 21:15, Israeli forces raided Azzun town {after an Israeli Military vehicle carrying 3 Israeli soldiers was stoned}.

Detention

On October 29th 2019, Israeli forces detained Maher Nafa' Hassan Mardawi {a resident of Hablat town}.

NABLUS

Flying Checkpoints

1. At 19:15, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint near Deir Sharaf village junction {located along the main road connecting Nablus and Tulkarem} then detained a resident.
2. At 20:00,Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at "Shavei Shomron" settlement junction then searched residents and vehicles until 22:40.
3. At 20:35, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint in the area between Nablus city and Assira Ash Shamaliya town then searched residents and vehicles until 22:40.

Raid

At 02:10, Israeli forces raided Kafr Kalil village , detained a resident then withdrew at 03:30.

Detention

1. Israeli forces positioned at a flying checkpoint located near Deir Sharaf village junction {located along the main road connecting Nablus and Tulkarem} detained Al-Muntassirbillah Ahmad Shaker Abu Hasheem {a resident of Tulkarem camp}.
2. Israeli forces detained Ahmad Ali Sabri in Kafr Qalil village.

Settlers Attacks

1. On October 30th 2019, a group of Israeli settlers stormed agricultural land located in Ras Hazim area in Deir Al-Hatab village and is located near "Elon Moreh" settlement and stole Olive harvest and broke the limbs of several Olive tree.
2. On October 30th 2019, a group of Israeli settlers from "Yitzhar" settlement stormed agricultural land located in Al-Naqqar area in Huwara town and assaulted several residents as they were harvesting Olives and as a result injured 3 residents:Nasser Al-Huwari {Head of of town council}, Kamal Odah {Deputey Head of the town council} and Mohammad Shihada leaving them hospitalized with contusions.

JERICHO

Flying Checkpoints

At 16:50, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the North entrance of Jericho city then searched residents and vehicles until 17:40.

BETHLEHEM

Flying Checkpoints

1. At 16:45, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint near Al-Nashash area junction {located at the south entrance of Bethlehem city} then searched residents and vehicles.
2. At 00:40,Israeli forces set up a checkpoint in Aqbat Hasna area {located along the main road leading to the west villages of Bethlehem district} then searched residents and vehicles until 01:50.

Raid

At 02:45, Israeli forces raided Al-Azza camp in Bethlehem city detained 3 residents then withdrew at 06:00.

Detention

1. At 15:00, Israeli forces positioned near "Gush Itsyon" settlement junction detained Uday Adeli Al-Asalanni { a resident of Ad Doha town}.
2. Israeli forces detained 3 residents: Araz Akram Al-Wa'arat, Fadi Abu Sarour and Ala Imad Hamayda in Al-Azza camp in Bethlehem city.

HEBRON

Raid

At 15:10, Israeli forces raided Idhna town and detained a resident {the husband of Suhier Ahmad Salamayma - who was injured near Al-Ibrahimi mosque compound}.

Attack

At 07:45 on October 30th 2019, Israeli forces positioned near Al-Ibrahimi Mosque compound located in the old city of Hebron opened fire towards a woman then detained her after wounding her for allegedly attempting to stab a Israeli soldier.

Injuries

Israeli forces injured Suhier Ahmad Salamayma {38 years old}{a resident of Idhna town} after opening fire towards her near Al-Ibrahimi Mosque compound located in the old city of Hebron for allegedly attempting to stab a Israeli soldier.

Detention

1.Israeli forces detained Omar Abdel-Fattah Salayma {the husband of Suhier Ahmad Salamayma - who was injured near Al-Ibrahimi mosque compound} in Idhana town.
2. Israeli forces detained Suhier Ahmad Salamayma {38 years old}{a resident of Idhna town} who was wounded after opening fire towards her near Al-Ibrahimi mosque compound in the old city of Hebron.

GAZA STRIP

ALL DISTRICTS

• At 19:00 on August 26th 2019,The permanent and comprehensive cease-fire entered into force on the initiative and sponsorship of the Arab Republic of Egypt, after reaching understandings to open the crossings, introduce humanitarian and relief assistance and reconstruction supplies, expand the fishing area for 6 miles, Up to 12 miles by the end of the current year, reducing the area of ​​the buffer zone from 300 m to 100 m, freedom of movement and preventing assassinations. The other issues, including the airport and the port, will be negotiated within one month of the cease-fire.
On the morning of 28 June 2019, the Israeli occupation forces allowed the expansion of the sea fishing area in the north of the town of Beit Lahia in the northern Gaza Strip and up to 6 nautical miles from the port of Gaza and from the port of Gaza to the south of Rafah until 15 nautical miles .

* Al-Muntar (Karni) Crossing is closed. Beginning on 02 March 2011, the Crossing has been effectively closed following a unilateral Israeli decision.
* Al-Shija’iya (Nahal ‘Oz) Crossing is closed. Beginning on 04 January 2010, the Crossing has closed following a unilateral Israeli decision.

RAFAH

Closure of Crossing Points

* Yasser ‘Arafat International Airport remains closed.
*Rafah (Al ‘Awdah) Crossing is open for the exit and entry of residents.
* Sufa Crossing is closed.
* Karm Abu Salem (Karem Shalom) Crossing is partially open for the entrance of Humanitarian aid, limited supplies of Diesel fuel and construction material for Internationally funded projects.
