WEST BANK

Closure

*Since 24:00 on October 3rd 2017, the Israeli Military sealed off the West Bank for the Jewish Holiday "Sikkot" thus preventing residents and workers including those with entry permits from entering Jerusalem city and Israel with the exception of Foreign Diplomats, Humanitarian and emergency medical cases {with prior security clearance} until 24:00 on October 10th 2017.

JERUSALEM

Flying Checkpoints

1. At 12:40, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Al-Eizariya town then searched residents and vehicles until 16:20.
2. At 18:30, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Beit Annan town then searched residents and vehicles until 22:50.

Obstruction of Places of Worship

At 11:00, a group of Israeli settlers under the protection of Israeli Military and Police officers stormed Al-Aqsa mosque compound and provoked worshipers.

RAMALLAH & AL BIREH

Flying Checkpoints

1. At 08:00, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Al-Nabi Saleh village then searched residents and vehicles.
2. At 16:30, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint near Atarah town bridge then searched residents and vehicles.
3. At 18:20, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Ras Kar Kar village then searched residents and vehicles until 18:50.

Attack

At 16:00, Israeli forces positioned near the entrance of Al-Nabi Saleh village fired stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents for alleged stoning.

JENIN

Flying Checkpoints

At 19:10, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Kafrit village then searched residents and vehicles.

TULKAREM

Raid

At 13:30, Israeli forces raided Zieta town until 13:55.

QALQILIYA

At 21:30, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Azzun town then searched residents and vehicles.

NABLUS

Flying Checkpoints

1. At 16:00, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Tel village then searched residents and vehicles.
2. At 23:40, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at "Shav Shamron" settlement junction then searched residents and vehicles.

Raid

At 10:30, Israeli forces raided Tel village, stormed and searched a home then withdrew at 15:50.

SALFIT

1. At 11:30, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Harris village then searched residents and vehicles.
2. At 18:30, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint in the area between Kafil Harris town and Harris village then searched residents and vehicles.

JERICHO

Flying Checkpoints

At 18:10, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the North entrance of Jericho city then searched residents and vehicles until 19:20.

BETHLEHEM

1. At 08:40, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the west entrance of Beit Fajjar town then searched residents and vehicles until 12:05.
2. At 16:35, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Jurat Al-Sham'a village then searched residents and vehicles until 18:20.

Temporary Detention

On October 4th 2017, Israeli forces positioned at "Kafr Itsiyon" settlement junction {located along the main road connecting Bethlehem and Hebron} temporarily detained Majed Thowib {A National Security Force Officer} then released him at a later time.

HEBRON

Flying Checkpoints

1. At 08:25, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the North entrance of Halhul town then searched residents and vehicles.
2. At 09:55, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at Al-Sahab junction in Hebron city then searched residents and vehicles.
3. At 11:45, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint in the area between Mu'in and Sha'b Al-Butun villages located in south east Yatta town then searched residents and vehicles.
4. At 12:50, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Farsh Al-Hawa area located North Hebron city {located along bypass road 35} then searched residents and vehicles.
5. At 14:45, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the North entrance of Hebron city {located along bypass road 35 near Halhul town bridge} then searched residents and vehicles.
6. At 17:35, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Ithna town then searched residents and vehicles.

GAZA STRIP

ALL DISTRICTS

• Since 19:00 on August 26th 2014, Palestinian Gunmen and the Israeli military agreed to a cease fire agreement (brokered by the Arab Republic of Egypt) which includes the opening of border crossings to allow the entry of emergency supplies and humanitarian goods as well as construction material and agreed to increase the fishing limit to 6 nautical miles with possibility of increase to 12 nautical miles by the end of the year and to decrease the Military area to 100 meters, allow freedom of movement and a halt to targeted killings and assassinations and negotiations will be held for discussion on rebuilding the seaport and airports and on May 3rd 2017, Israeli authorities increased the fishing limit to 9 nautical miles from Wadi Gaza until the south border of the Gaza strip.

NORTHERN GAZA

Closure of Crossing Points

* Beit Hanun (Erez) crossing is partially open for the passage of critical patients, journalists, NGO staff, businesspersons and passengers travelling abroad through Al-Karama crossing with previous coordination until 13:00 and residents of Gaza strip until 15:00.

GAZA

Closure of Crossing Points

* Al-Muntar (Karni) Crossing is closed. Beginning on 02 March 2011, the Crossing has been effectively closed following a unilateral Israeli decision.
* Al-Shija’iya (Nahal ‘Oz) Crossing is closed. Beginning on 04 January 2010, the Crossing has closed following a unilateral Israeli decision.

CENTRAL GAZA

Detention

At 19:00 on October 4th 2017, Israeli forces detained 2 unidentified residents as they attempted to climb the border fence into Israel from East Deir Al-Balah city

RAFAH

Closure of Crossing Points

* Yasser ‘Arafat International Airport remains closed.
* Rafah (Al ‘Awdah) Crossing is closed.
* Sufa Crossing is closed.
* Karm Abu Salem (Karem Shalom) Crossing is partially open for the entry of goods, fuel, construction material for the private sector and internationally funded projects.
