WEST BANK

JERUSALEM

Raid

At 07:30 on October 4th 2018, Israeli forces raided Abu Dis town, clashed with several residents and University students as they surveyed area's near Al-Quds University campus and local schools in the area.

Detention

1. At 10:30, Israeli forces detained Malik Jawdat Abu Sineneh in Ras Al-Amoud neighborhood in Jerusalem city.
2. At 12:30, Israeli forces detained Mohammad Al-Salayma near Salah Al-Din road in Jerusalem city at his work Place in the Jerusalem Electrical Company.

Attack

At 07:30 on October 4th 2018, Israeli forces fired stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents and University students for alleged stoning as they stormed area's near Al-Quds University campus during their raid into in Abu Dis town.

Assaults on Property

On October 3rd 2018, Israeli forces stormed Al-Shiekh Jarrah neighborhood in Jerusalem city and closed down Al-Basha Restaurant {which is owned by Ahmad Sab Al-Labban} until October 13th 2018 for allegedly having workers who dont have entry permits to work in Jerusalem city.

Obstruction of Places of Worship

At 10:00, a group of Israeli settlers under the protection of Israeli Military and Police officers stormed Al-Aqsa mosque compound and provoked worshipers.

RAMALLAH & AL BIREH

Raid

1. At 11:00, Israeli forces raided Abboud town, stormed a home and detained a resident.
2. At 03:00, Israeli forces raided Beit Liqya town, stormed and searched a home then withdrew at 06:00.

Detention

Israeli forces detained Ibrahim Mohammad Saharif Al-Barghouthi in Abboud town.

JENIN

Flying Checkpoints

At 22:20, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint in the area between Al-Zababda town and Al-Kafir village then searched residents and vehicles until 05:50.

TULKAREM

Military Checkpoints

At 19:30, Israeli forces intensified their restrictions at "Enav" military checkpoint and impeded the free flow of traffic.

QALQILIYA

Flying Checkpoints

1. At 10:20, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Azzun town then searched residents and vehicles.
2. At 20:10, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Izbit Al-Tabib village then searched residents and vehicles.

NABLUS

Military Checkpoints

1. At 11:30, Israeli forces intensified their restrictions at Huwara military checkpoint and impeded the free flow of traffic.
2. At 19:25, Israeli forces intensified their restrictions at Beit Furiq checkpoint and impeded the free flow of traffic.

Flying Checkpoints

At 21:20, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint near "Shavie Shamron" settlement junction then searched residents and vehicles.

Raid

At 09:50, Israeli forces raided Beit Ibba town and Qussin village.

Settlers Attacks

At 13:00, a group of Israeli settlers stormed agricultural land near Burin village located near Huwar4a Militray checkpoint and stole Olive harvest picked by local residents then were returned to the local owners after Palestinian Military liaison intervened.

SALFIT

Raid

At 03:10 on October 10th 2018, Israeli forces raided Kafr Al-Dik town and detained 2 residents.

Detention

Israeli forces detained 2 residents: Salah Ayman Atta Qassoul and Moath Jamal Foad Nassar in Kafr Al-Dik town.

Closure of main Roads

At 12:00, Israeli forces closed the steel gate at the east entrance of Kafr Al-Dik town and impeded the free flow of traffic.

JERICHO

Temporary Detention

At 20:00, Israeli forces positioned at Allenby bridge temporarily detained Jihad Foad Turki Al-Sha'er {A National Security force officer} as he was returning from Jordan then released him at 20:30 .

BETHLEHEM

Flying Checkpoints

1. At 10:20, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Husan village then searched residents and vehicles.
2. On the afternoon of October 4th 2018, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Al-Waljat village then searched residents and vehicles.
3. At 23:50, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Beit Jallah city then searched residents and vehicles until 01:10.

HEBRON

Flying Checkpoints

At 08:40, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at Halhul town bridge then searched residents and vehicles.

Temporary Detention

At 04:25, Israeli forces positioned at the entrance of Al-Shalalat road in the old city of Hebron Ra'wa Abdel-Rahman Al-Adhami as she was going to dawn prayers in Al-Ibrahimi mosque compound during which she fainted and was taken to a local hospital.

GAZA STRIP

ALL DISTRICTS

• Since 19:00 on August 26th 2014, Palestinian Gunmen and the Israeli military agreed to a cease fire agreement (brokered by the Arab Republic of Egypt) which includes the opening of border crossings to allow the entry of emergency supplies and humanitarian goods as well as construction material and agreed to increase the fishing limit to 6 nautical miles with possibility of increase to 12 nautical miles by the end of the year and to decrease the Military area to 100 meters, allow freedom of movement and a halt to targeted killings and assassinations and negotiations will be held for discussion on rebuilding the seaport and airports and on May 4th 2017, Israeli authorities increased the fishing limit to 9 nautical miles from Wadi Gaza until the south border of the Gaza strip and on June 26th 2017 Israeli forces decreased the fishing limit back to 6 nautical miles and on October 17th 2017, Israeli forces increased the fishing limit back to 9 nautical miles and on December 12th 2017 reduced fishing area from 9 nautical miles to 6 nautical miles south of Wadi Gaza and opposite to Rafah and on July 17th 2018, Israeli forces reduced the fishing area from 6 nautical miles to 3 nautical miles, On August 15th 2018, Israeli forces increased the fishing area from 3 nautical miles up to 9 nautical miles from the coast of Al-Badeir area located in Central Gaza up to Rafah district located South of the Gaza strip.

• The Israeli Military broke the ceasefire agreement by raiding Central Gaza district.

• The Israeli Military broke the ceasefire agreement by opening fire from their positions behind the Green Line towards North Gaza, Gaza, Central Gaza and Khan Yunis districts and as a result injured 2 residents.

NORTHERN GAZA

Closure of Crossing Points

* Beit Hanun (Erez) crossing is partially open for the passage of critical patients, journalists, NGO staff, businesspersons and passengers travelling abroad through Al-Karama crossing with previous coordination.

Attack

1. At 20:00 on October 4th 2018, Israeli forces positioned behind the Green Line fired live ammunition, rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas canisters towards several demonstrators in east Jabaliya town during the march of return.
2. At 21:45 on October 4th 2018, Israeli forces positioned behind the Green Line fired live ammunition, rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas canisters towards several demonstrators in North East Beit Hanun town during the march of return and as a result injured 1 resident.

Injuries

Israeli forces injured 1 unidentified resident after opening fire towards demonstrators in North east Beit Hanun town

Detention

At 19:00 on October 4th 2018, Israeli forces positioned near Beit Hanun (Erez) crossing detained Nasser Al-Kilani {The Director of the Palestinian Civil Affairs Department at Beit Hanoun (Erez)} as he was travelling to the West Bank to visit a hospitalized relative.

GAZA

Closure of Crossing Points

* Al-Muntar (Karni) Crossing is closed. Beginning on 02 March 2011, the Crossing has been effectively closed following a unilateral Israeli decision.
* Al-Shija’iya (Nahal ‘Oz) Crossing is closed. Beginning on 04 January 2010, the Crossing has closed following a unilateral Israeli decision.

Attack

At 21:00 on October 4th 2018, Israeli forces positioned behind the Green Line fired live ammunition, rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas canisters towards several demonstrators in east Gaza city participating in the right of return march and as a result injured 1 resident.

Injuries

Israeli forces injured 1 unidentified resident after opening fire towards demonstrators in east Gaza city.

CENTRAL GAZA

Raid

At 08:30 on October 4th 2018, Israeli forces escorting Military bulldozers stormed 100 m into the vicinity of east Deir Al-Balah city and leveled a plot of land then withdrew at 14:00.

KHAN YUNIS

Attack

1. At 21:00 on October 4th 2018, Israeli forces positioned behind the Green Line fired towards several resident located near the border fence in east Khuza'a town located in east Khan Yunis city.
2. At 21:15 on October 4th 2018, Israeli forces positioned behind the Green Line fired towards agricultural land in east Khuza'a town located in east Khan Yunis city.

RAFAH

Closure of Crossing Points

* Yasser ‘Arafat International Airport remains closed.
*Rafah (Al ‘Awdah) Crossing is open for the entry and exit of residents.
* Sufa Crossing is closed.
* Karm Abu Salem (Karem Shalom) Crossing is partially open for the entrance of Humanitarian aid, limited supplies of Diesel fuel and construction material for Internationally funded projects.
