WEST BANK

Closure

*Since 24:00 on October 3rd 2017, the Israeli Military sealed off the West Bank for the Jewish Holiday "Sikkot" thus preventing residents and workers including those with entry permits from entering Jerusalem city and Israel with the exception of Foreign Diplomats, Humanitarian and emergency medical cases {with prior security clearance} until 24:00 on October 10th 2017.

JERUSALEM

Flying Checkpoints

1. At 14:45, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint in Khan Al-Hamra area {located along the main road connecting Jerusalem and Jericho} then searched residents and vehicles.
2. At 17:20, Israeli for es set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Beit Annan town then searched residents and vehicles until 21:30.
3. At 23:15, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Hizma town then searched residents and vehicles until 21:30.

Detention

1. On October 4th 2017, Israeli forces detained Ibrahim Musa Marar {A resident of Al-Ram town}.
2. At 21:00, Israeli forces detained 2 residents: Ahmad Al-Maghrabi and Yacoub Al-Dabagh in Jerusalem city.

Attack

At 21:00, Israeli forces positioned in Al-Sa'diya neighborhood in the old city of Jerusalem fired stun and tear gas grenades towards several residents for alleged stoning.

Obstruction of Places of Worship

At 13:30, a group of Israeli settlers under the protection of Israeli Military and Police officers stormed Al-Aqsa mosque compound and provoked worshipers.

RAMALLAH & AL BIREH

Military Checkpoints

At 19:15, Israeli forces intensified their restrictions at Al-Mahkama Military checkpoint located near "Bet El" settlement in North Al-Bireh city and impeded the free flow of traffic until 22:00.

Flying Checkpoints

1. At 18:30, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Al-Nabi Saleh village, detained 2 residents then withdrew at 22:10.
2. At 19:25, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at Al-Taybeh town junction {located along Al-Mu'atajat road which connects Ramallah and Jericho} then searched residents and vehicles until 20:30.
3. At 20:00, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Turmus'aya town then searched residents and vehicles until 22:10.
4. At 21:15, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at Ein Sinya village roundabout then searched residents and vehicles until 22:10.

Raid

1. At 13:25, Israeli forces raided Kafr Ni'meh village and clashed with several residents.
2. At 20:00, Israeli forces raided Al-Mugheir village and detained a resident.

Detention

1. Israeli forces positioned at a flying checkpoint near the entrance of Al-Nabi Saleh village detained Amjad Abdel-Hafith Al-Tamimi and Mu'tasim Sameeh Al-Tamimi.
2. Israeli forces detained Mohammad Jadallah Abu Aliya in Al-Mugheir village.

Attack

At 13:25, Israeli forces fired stun and tear gas grenades towards several residents for alleged stoning during their raid into Kafr Ni'meh village.

Settlers Attacks

At 23:30, a group of Israeli settlers positioned near "Shilo" settlement stoned residents and vehicles travelling along {the main road connecting Ramallah and Nablus} and as a result injured Mohammad Mahmoud Jarrar'a {A resident of Assira Al-Shamaliya town in Nablus district} leaving him hospitalized with a fractured skull as he was driving his vehicle.

Injuries

Mohammad Mahmoud Jarrar'a {A resident of Assira Al-Shamaliya town in Nablus district} was hospitalized with a fractured skull after Israeli settlers positioned near "Shilo" settlement stoned residents and vehicles travelling along {the main road connecting Ramallah and Nablus}.

JENIN

Raid

At 02:50, Israeli forces raided Qabatiya town then stormed and searched 2 homes.

Attack

1. At 21:30, Israeli forces positioned in the vicinity of Al-Jalmah Military checkpoint located in east Jenin city opened fire towards a child and as a result left leg injuries.
2. At 23:30, Israeli forces positioned near Al-Shuhada village junction fired rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas grenades towards several residents for alleged stoning.

Injuries

Israeli forces positioned in the vicinity of Al-Jalmah Military checkpoint located in east Jenin city opened fire towards and injured the child Adham Mustafa Ibrahim Abu Kharouj {17 years old} {A resident of Jenin camp}.

TUBAS

Military Checkpoints

At 18:30, Israeli forces intensified their restrictions at Tayassir military checkpoint and impeded the free flow of traffic.

QALQILIYA

Flying Checkpoints

1. At 19:50, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint beneath Azzun town bridge {located long the main road connecting Qalqilya and Tulkarem} then searched residents and vehicles.
2. At 20:10, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the east entrance of Qalqilya city then searched residents and vehicles.
3. At 21:00, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint along the main road connecting Qalqilya and Nablus then searched residents and vehicles.

NABLUS

Flying Checkpoints

1. At 12:45, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at Sarah village junction {located along the main road connecting Nablus and Qalqilya} and temporarily seized a Palestinian Police vehicle then released it at a later time.
2. At 20:50, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Beita town then searched residents and vehicles until 22:50.

Provocation of Palestinian Forces

At 12:45, Israeli forces positioned at a flying checkpoint at Sarah village junction {located along the main road connecting Nablus and Qalqilya} temporarily seized a Palestinian Police vehicle then released it at a later time.

Flying Checkpoints

1. At 12:50, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Qarwat Bani Hassan town then searched residents and vehicles.
2. At 18:30, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint beneath Iskaka village bridge then searched residents and vehicles.
3. At 20:30, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint in the area between Kafil Harris and Harris village then searched residents and vehicles.

Raid

At 20:30, Israeli forces raided Salfit city until 23:15.

JERICHO

Raid

At 02:40, Israeli forces raided Ein Al-Sultan camp in Jericho city, stormed and searched 4 hones then withdrew at 04:00.

BETHLEHEM

Flying Checkpoints

1. At 08:55, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Beit Jalah city then searched residents and vehicles until 10:00.
2. At 12:10 and again at 23:55, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint near Al-Nashash area junction {located at the south entrance of Bethlehem city} then searched residents and vehicles until 01:50.

Raid

At 01:30, Israeli forces raided Beit Fajjar town, clashed with several residents as they stormed and searched several homes, temporarily detained Mash'hour Shaher Dayriya then released him after questioning during their raid into Beit fajjar town and withdrew at 03:00.

At 01:30, Israeli forces fired rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas grenades towards several residents for alleged stoning as they stormed and searched a home during their raid into Beit Fajjar town.

Closure of main Roads

On October 5th 2017, Israeli forces closed a agricultural road in Al-Kanisah area located between Husan and Wadi Fuqin villages {which are near "Betar Eliyat" settlement} with steel gate and barbed wires thus preventing farmers from accessing their agricultural land which is approximately 500 dunums.

HEBRON

Flying Checkpoints

1. At 17:00, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Beit Kahil town then searched residents and vehicles.
2. At 21:20, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the North entrance of Halhul town then searched residents and vehicles.

Attack

At 21:10, Israeli forces positioned near Tarik Bin Ziyad school junction in the old city of Hebron fired rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas grenades towards several residents for alleged stoning.

Settlers Attacks

At 22:30, Israeli settlers positioned near "Kiryat Arba'" settlement located in east side of the old city of Hebron stoned residents and vehicles and as a result injured a child leaving him hospitalized.

Injuries

The child Yafa Nimr Fihmi Jaber {7 years old} was hospitalized after she was injured by Israeli settlers who stoned residents and vehicles near "Kiryat Arba'" settlement located in east side of the old city of Hebron.

GAZA STRIP

ALL DISTRICTS

• Since 19:00 on August 26th 2014, Palestinian Gunmen and the Israeli military agreed to a cease fire agreement (brokered by the Arab Republic of Egypt) which includes the opening of border crossings to allow the entry of emergency supplies and humanitarian goods as well as construction material and agreed to increase the fishing limit to 6 nautical miles with possibility of increase to 12 nautical miles by the end of the year and to decrease the Military area to 100 meters, allow freedom of movement and a halt to targeted killings and assassinations and negotiations will be held for discussion on rebuilding the seaport and airports and on May 3rd 2017, Israeli authorities increased the fishing limit to 9 nautical miles from Wadi Gaza until the south border of the Gaza strip.

NORTHERN GAZA

Closure of Crossing Points

* Beit Hanun (Erez) crossing is closed for for the Jewish Holiday "Sikkot"the exception of Humanitarian and emergency medical cases {with prior security clearance}.

Closure of Crossing Points

* Al-Muntar (Karni) Crossing is closed. Beginning on 02 March 2011, the Crossing has been effectively closed following a unilateral Israeli decision.
* Al-Shija’iya (Nahal ‘Oz) Crossing is closed. Beginning on 04 January 2010, the Crossing has closed following a unilateral Israeli decision.

RAFAH

Closure of Crossing Points

* Yasser ‘Arafat International Airport remains closed.
* Rafah (Al ‘Awdah) Crossing is closed.
* Sufa Crossing is closed.
* Karm Abu Salem (Karem Shalom) Crossing is closed.
