WEST BANK

ALL DISTRICTS

Closure

*Since 24:00 on October 3rd 2017, the Israeli Military sealed off the West Bank for the Jewish Holiday "Sikkot" thus preventing residents and workers including those with entry permits from entering Jerusalem city and Israel with the exception of Foreign Diplomats, Humanitarian and emergency medical cases {with prior security clearance} until 24:00 on October 10th 2017.

JERUSALEM

Flying Checkpoints

1. On October 5th 2017, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the tunnel entrance which leads to Biddu town and detained 2 residents.
2. At 22:50, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Biddu town then searched residents and vehicles until 23:25.

Detention

1. At 10:00, Israeli forces detained Ashraf Haroun Zakariya Burqan {A resident of Al-Thuri neighborhood in Jerusalem city} for allegedly carrying a knife inside his vehicle.
2. Israeli forces positioned at a flying checkpoint the tunnel entrance which leads to Biddu town detained 2 residents: Abdallah Abdel-Kareem Samara and Qusay Ziyad Hussien Samara.

RAMALLAH & AL BIREH

Flying Checkpoints

1. At 08:00, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Al-Nabi Saleh village then searched residents and vehicles until 15:00.
2. At 08:30, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at Al-Taybeh town junction {located along Al-Mu'arajat road which connects Ramallah and Jericho} then searched residents and vehicles.

Raid

At 11:40, Israeli forces raided Al-Bireh city {under Israeli Military Helicopter cover}, clashed with several residents as they stormed and searched 2 homes and a Reception hall and as a result injured 3 residents and left several others suffocated from tear gas inhalation then detained 2 residents {including a child} and withdrew at 14:15.

Detention

Israeli forces detained 2 residents {including a child}: Mohammad Adnan Ayadiya {15 years old} and Mohammad Ibrahim Abu Kweik in Al-Bireh city.

Temporary Detention

At 17:20, Israeli forces positioned near "Bet El" settlement temporarily detained the child Yusef Salah Abu Sharifat {13 years old} then released him at a later time.

Attack

At 11:40, Israeli forces fired rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas grenades towards several residents for alleged stoning as they stormed and searched 2 homes and reception hall during their raid into Al-Bireh city and as s result injured 3 residents and left several others suffocated from tear gas inhalation.

Injuries

Israeli forces injured 3 residents: Ahmad Ammar Tarteri, Ameen Musa Rihan and Mohammad Badr Badarin during their raid into Al-Bireh city.

JENIN

Raid

1.At 18:45, Israeli forces raided Arabba town until 21:35.
2. At 23:25, Israeli forces raided Rumana village, stormed and searched several homes then withdrew at 03:35.
3. At 02:30, Israeli forces raided Ya'bad town, detained a child then withdrew at 03:35.

Detention

Israeli forces detained Anas Adnan Hamarsha {17 years old} in Ya'bad town.

TUBAS

Confiscation of Property

At 16:45, Israeli forces positioned in Al-Ras Al-Ahmar area located in the North Jordan Valley confiscated a tractor owned by Ahmad Thiyab Abu Khizran.

TULKAREM

Military Checkpoints

At 18:45, Israeli forces intensified their restrictions at "Enav" Military checkpoint then impeded the free flow of traffic until 20:30.

Raid

At 16:15, Israeli forces raided Izbit Shufa village until 20:45.

QALQILIYA

Flying Checkpoints

1. At 16:45, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint along the main road connecting Jayyous and Azzun towns then searched residents and vehicles.
2. At 17:30, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the east entrance of Qalqilya city then searched residents and vehicles.
3. At 18:30, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Halabat town then searched residents and vehicles.
4. At 19:30, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint beneath Azzun town bridge {located along the main road connecting Qalqilya and Tulkarem} then detained a child.

Detention

Israeli forces positioned at a checkpoint beneath Azzun town bridge {located along the main road connecting Qalqilya and Tulkarem} detained the child: Islam Zahar Salah Hassanein {17 years old}{A resident of Qalqilya city}.

Demonstrations

At 13:30,a demonstration took place in Kafr Qaddum village against the closure of the east entrance during which they clashed with Israeli forces tried to disrupt the demonstration by firing rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas grenades towards demonstrators who attempted to reach the demonstration site and left several others suffocated from tear gas inhalation.

Attack

At 13:30,Israeli forces fired rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas grenades towards several residents who were participating in demonstrations against the closure of the east entrance of Kafr Qaddum village and left several others suffocated from tear gas inhalation.

NABLUS

Flying Checkpoints

At 16:30, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Burin village then searched residents and vehicles.

Raid

1. At 14:50, Israeli forces raided Tel and Sarah villages.
2. At 05:15, Israeli forces raided the east neighborhoods of Nablus city until 05:35.

Settlers Attacks

At 19:15, 2 Israeli settlers stormed Al-Ameir area in Azzmout village and attempted to abduct Ahmad Samara and his wife then withdrew under the protection of the Israeli Military.

SALFIT

Flying Checkpoints

At 16:20, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint beneath Iskaka village bridge then searched residents and vehicles.

JERICHO

Raid

At 02:25, Israeli forces raided Ein Al-Sultan camp in Jericho city, stormed and searched 2 homes in the camp then withdrew at 04:30.

BETHLEHEM

Military Checkpoints

At 23:15, Israeli forces closed Al-Container Military checkpoint and impeded the free flow of traffic until reopening it at a later time.

Flying Checkpoints

At 22:30, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Beit Jallah city then searched residents and vehicles until 01:15.

Raid

1. At 19:30, Israeli forces raided Wadi Rahal and Abu Najim villages, detained a child and confiscated a vehicle owned by the child's father.
2. At 05:25, Israeli forces raided Bethlehem city and detained a resident.

Detention

1. Israeli forces detained Noor-Al Din Ibrahim Sami Al-Faghouri {17 years old} in Abu Najim village.
2. Israeli forces detained Imad Ali Al-Shouki in Bethlehem city.

Confiscation of Property

At 19:30, Israeli forces confiscated a vehicle owned by Ibrahim Sami Al-Faghouri after detaining his son during their raid into Abu Najim village.

HEBRON

Raid

1. At 15:30, Israeli forces raided Hebron city until 16:10.
2. At 18:30, Israeli forces raided Sa'ir town until 23:15.
3. At 21:00, Israeli forces raided Karmat village then stormed and searched 4 homes.
4. At 01:30, Israeli forces raided Al-Ramadin village, detained 3 residents then withdrew at 03:00.
5. At 01:55, Israeli forces raided Surif town until 03:00.

Detention

Israeli forces detained 3 residents: Hassan Samara, Sameh Mohammad Al-Nadari and Sami Al-Nadari in Ramadin village.

Demonstrations

At 13:30, a demonstration took place in Qalaqis village, protesting agianst the 17 year closure of the main road leading to the village during which Israeli forces fired stun and tear gas canisters towards demonstrators and as a result left several of them suffocated from tear gas inhalation.

GAZA STRIP

ALL DISTRICTS

• Since 19:00 on August 26th 2014, Palestinian Gunmen and the Israeli military agreed to a cease fire agreement (brokered by the Arab Republic of Egypt) which includes the opening of border crossings to allow the entry of emergency supplies and humanitarian goods as well as construction material and agreed to increase the fishing limit to 6 nautical miles with possibility of increase to 12 nautical miles by the end of the year and to decrease the Military area to 100 meters, allow freedom of movement and a halt to targeted killings and assassinations and negotiations will be held for discussion on rebuilding the seaport and airports and on May 3rd 2017, Israeli authorities increased the fishing limit to 9 nautical miles from Wadi Gaza until the south border of the Gaza strip.

• Israeli Military forces broke the ceasefire agreement by opening fire from their positions behind the Green Line towards North Gaza and Central Gaza districts and as a result injured 4 residents {including a child}.

NORTHERN GAZA

Closure of Crossing Points

* Beit Hanun (Erez) crossing is partially open for the passage of critical patients, journalists, NGO staff, businesspersons and passengers travelling abroad through Al-Karama crossing with previous coordination.

Attack

At 16:00 on October 6th 2017,Israeli forces positioned behind the Green Line fired stun and tear gas grenades towards several demonstrators in east Jabaliya town and as a result injured 4 residents.

Injuries

Israeli forces injured 4 unidentified residents in in east Jabaliya town.

GAZA

Closure of Crossing Points

* Al-Muntar (Karni) Crossing is closed. Beginning on 02 March 2011, the Crossing has been effectively closed following a unilateral Israeli decision.
* Al-Shija’iya (Nahal ‘Oz) Crossing is closed. Beginning on 04 January 2010, the Crossing has closed following a unilateral Israeli decision.

CENTRAL GAZA

Attack

At 16:15 on October 6th 2017, Israeli forces positioned behind the Green Line opened fire and launched tear gas grenades towards several demonstrators in east Al-Buriej camp and as a result injured a child.

Injuries

Israeli forces injured a unidentified child in east Al-Buriej camp.

RAFAH

Closure of Crossing Points

* Yasser ‘Arafat International Airport remains closed.
* Rafah (Al ‘Awdah) Crossing is closed.
* Sufa Crossing is closed.
* Karm Abu Salem (Karem Shalom) Crossing is closed.
