Closure

*Since 24:00 on October 3rd 2017, the Israeli Military sealed off the West Bank for the Jewish Holiday "Sikkot" thus preventing residents and workers including those with entry permits from entering Jerusalem city and Israel with the exception of Foreign Diplomats, Humanitarian and emergency medical cases {with prior security clearance} until 24:00 on October 10th 2017.

JERUSALEM

Flying Checkpoints

1. At 18:10, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint near Al-Quds University campus during their raid into Abu Dis town then searched residents and vehicles.
2. At 18:50, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint near Beit Anan town then searched residents and vehicles.

Raid

1. At 07:30 on October 7th 2017 and again at 24:00, Israeli forces raided Biddu town.
2. At 17:00, Israeli forces raided Al-Sawahra village.
3. At 18:10 and again at 05:40, Israeli forces raided Abu Dis town then set up a checkpoint.
4. On the evening of October 7th 2017, Israeli forces raided "Abu Nour Al-Badawi" Bedouin Community in east Al-Eizariya town, broke open the doors of a school {under construction}{planned to educate 58 children} and confiscated construction equipment used build the school.

Assault on Educational sector

On the evening of October 7th 2017, broke open the doors of a school {under construction}{planned to educate 58 children} during their raid into Abu Nour Al-Badawi" Bedouin Community in east Al-Eizariya town and confiscated construction equipment used build the school.

RAMALLAH & AL BIREH

Flying Checkpoints

1. At 09:30, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at Ein Sinya village roundabout then searched residents and vehicles.
2. At 21:30, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint near the entrance of Deir Abu Mash'al village and detained a resident.

Raid

1. At 12:55, Israeli forces raided Shuqba and Qubiya villages.
2. At 00:55, Israeli forces raided Beitunia town then stormed a vehicle repair garage.
3. At 01:40, Israeli forces raided Al-Bireh city, detained 2 residents and summoned Jamal Al-Taweel to report to Israeli Intelligence for questioning then withdrew at 03:50.
4. At dawn on October 8th 2017, Israeli forces raided Al-Jalazoun camp and detained 2 residents.

Detention

1. Israeli forces positioned at a flying checkpoint near the entrance of Deir Abu Mash'al village detained Sharhabeel Kan'an Al-Khatib.
2. Israeli forces detained Rami Abbdo Al-Fahed and Ali Abu Musalam in Al-Bireh city.
3. Israeli forces detained Mohammad Muneer Nakhlah and Hamza Mohammad Abu Al-Jaleel in Al-Jalazoun camp.

JENIN

Raid

At 06:40, Israeli forces raided Deir Abu Da'if village.

Detention

On October 7th 2017, Israeli forces detained Sanad Mohammad Mahmoud Istiti {A resident of Jenin camp} as they were positioned at a flying checkpoint as he was travelling to Ramallah city.

QALQILIYA

Flying Checkpoints

At 15:40, Israeli forces set up 4 checkpoint at the east entrance of Qalqilya city, at the entrance of Azzun town, Beneath Azzun town bridge {along the main road connecting Qalqilya and Tulkarem}, in the area between Azzun town and Izbit Al-Tabib village then searched residents and vehicles.

NABLUS

Raid

1. At 08:00, Israeli forces raided Beit Iba town, Deir Sharaf, Zieta , Beit Wazan and Sarah villages until 14:15.
2. At 19:10, Israeli forces raided Einbuis village.
3. At 22:30, Israeli forces raided Awarta village as they escorted a group of Israeli settlers who raided archaeological sites {A ancient cemetery} to perform Talmudic rituals then withdrew at 00:50.
4. At 02:45, Israeli forces raided Askar camp in Nablus city, detained 3 residents then withdrew at 04:00.

Detention

Israeli forces detained 3 residents: Sanad Akram AbuEl-Khier, Majdi Mahmoud Al-Ajouri and Arkam Khalid Qur'an in Askar camp in Nablus city,

Settlers Attacks

On the morning of October 7th 2017, a group of Israeli settlers from"Yitshar" settlement stormed agricultural land in Huwara town, attacked several residents who were collecting Olive harvest then withdrew at a later time.

SALFIT

Flying Checkpoints

1. At 13:20, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the North entrance of Salfit city then searched residents and vehicles.
2. At 17:30, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint near Iskaka village bridge then searched residents and vehicles.
3. At 22;30, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Qarwat Bani Hassan town then searched residents and vehicles.

Raid

At 14:00, Israeli forces raided Bidya town and Masaha village until 16:40.

BETHLEHEM

Flying Checkpoints

1. At 09:15, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at Aqbat Hasna area located near Husan village then searched residents and vehicles until 10:40.
2. At 20:05, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint near Al-Nashash area junction {located at the south entrance of Bethlehem city} then searched residents and vehicles until 22:30.
3. At 20:20, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the west entrance of Beit Fajjar town then searched residents and vehicles until 22:00.
4. At 20:30, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Teqou' town then searched residents and vehicles until 22:15.

Raid

1. At dawn on October 7th 2017 and again at 02:50 on October 8th 2017, Israeli forces raided Beit Fajjar town, detained a resident then withdrew at 05:25.
2. At 04:30, Israeli forces raided Bethlehem city, clashed with several residents as they stormed and searched several homes, detained a resident then withdrew at 05:25.

Detention

1. On October 7th 2017, Israeli forces detained Mahmoud Imad Al-Shuwaki {A resident of Bethlehem city} as he was reporting to Israeli Intelligence for questioning based on a prior summon.
2. Israeli forces detained Waleed Izat Hassan Dariya in Beit Fajjar town.
3. Israeli forces detained Idris Suliman Atta Obiyat in Bethlehem city.

Attack

At 04:30, Israeli forces fired stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents for alleged stoning as they stormed and searched a home during their raid into Bethlehem city.

HEBRON

Flying Checkpoints

1. At 18:30, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Al-Samiya village and detained a resident who was driving a motorcycle.
2. At 19:15, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at Al-Fuwar junction and detained a resident.

Raid

1. At 11:40, Israeli forces raided Tarqumiya town then stormed and searched a home.
2. At 00:30, Israeli forces raided Dura, Beit Awwa Al-Thahriya towns and Beit Al-Roush Al-Foqa village , detained 3 residents in Beit Awwa town and Beit Al-Roush Al-Foqa village then withdrew at 05:25.
3. At 03:00, Israeli forces raided Sa'ir town, detained a resident then withdrew at 05:25.

Detention

1. Israeli forces positioned at a flying checkpoint near the entrance of Al-Simiya village detained Mohammad Jamal Al-Adrah {A resident of Yatta town}.
2. Israeli forces positioned at a flying checkpoint near Al-Fuwar junction detained Nassar Nassar Ali Al-Jundi {A resident of Yatta}.
3. Israeli forces detained 3 residents: Mohammad Nidal Malouh Masalma {A resident of Beit Awwa town}, Abdel-Majid Matar Abu Sharar and Amin Matar Abu Sharar {Residents of Beit Al-Roush Al-Foqa village}.
4. Israeli forces detained Hijazi Rohi Jaradat in Sa'ir town.

Temporary Detention

At 16:35, Israeli forces temporarily detained Mohammad Tiem {A Palestinian Police officer} along Wadi Sa'ir road then released him at 17:40.

Closure of main Roads

At 08:40, Israeli forces closed the entrance of Al-Samou' {located along the bypass road near Al-Samiya village} with dirt mounds.

GAZA STRIP

ALL DISTRICTS

• Since 19:00 on August 26th 2014, Palestinian Gunmen and the Israeli military agreed to a cease fire agreement (brokered by the Arab Republic of Egypt) which includes the opening of border crossings to allow the entry of emergency supplies and humanitarian goods as well as construction material and agreed to increase the fishing limit to 6 nautical miles with possibility of increase to 12 nautical miles by the end of the year and to decrease the Military area to 100 meters, allow freedom of movement and a halt to targeted killings and assassinations and negotiations will be held for discussion on rebuilding the seaport and airports and on May 3rd 2017, Israeli authorities increased the fishing limit to 9 nautical miles from Wadi Gaza until the south border of the Gaza strip.
• Israeli Naval vessels broke the ceasefire agreement by opening fire towards Palestinian fishing boats off the shores of North Gaza district.

NORTHERN GAZA

Closure of Crossing Points

* Beit Hanun (Erez) crossing is closed.

Attack

At 08:00 on October 7th 2017,Israeli Naval vessels opened fire towards Palestinian fishing boats off the shores of Al-Sudaniya area located in West Beit Lahiya town.

GAZA

Closure of Crossing Points

* Al-Muntar (Karni) Crossing is closed. Beginning on 02 March 2011, the Crossing has been effectively closed following a unilateral Israeli decision.
* Al-Shija’iya (Nahal ‘Oz) Crossing is closed. Beginning on 04 January 2010, the Crossing has closed following a unilateral Israeli decision.

RAFAH

* Yasser ‘Arafat International Airport remains closed.
