WEST BANK

ALL DISTRICTS

Closure

• Since 24:00 on September 8th 2018, Israeli military imposed a full closure of the West Bank districts on the occasion of the Jewish New Year, and prevented citizens and workers, including permit holders, from entering Jerusalem and Israel, except for humanitarian cases after prior coordination until 24:00 on September 11th 2018.

JERUSALEM

Raid

1. At 08:00 on September 10th 2018, Israeli forces raided Abu Dis town, clashed with several residents then detained 4 residents.
2. At 10:30 on September 10th 2018, Israeli forces raided Al-Sawahara village, clashed with several residents as they stormed and searched several homes.

Detention

1. On September 10th 2018, Israeli forces detained Mohammad Al-Hilo {A Palestinian General Intellegnce officer} in Al-Khan Al-Ahmar area.
2. Israeli forces detained 4 residents: Zuhier Abu Halal, Daud Saleh, Ahmad Jamous and Waleed Saleh Muhisien Khanfashat in Abu Dis town.

Attack

1. At 08:00, Israeli forces fired rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents for alleged stoning during their raid into Abu Dis town.
2. At 10:30 on September 10th 2018, Israeli forces fired stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents for alleged stoning during their raid into Al-Sawahara village.

Obstruction of Places of Worship

At 07:30 on September 10th 2018, a group of Israeli settlers under the protection of Israeli Military and Police officers stormed Al-Aqsa mosque compound and provoked worshipers.

RAMALLAH & AL BIREH

Military Checkpoints

At 23:30, Israeli forces closed "Al-Mahkama" military checkpoint located near "Bet El" settlement in North Al-Bireh city and impeded the free flow of traffic {after unidentified persons allegedly opened fire towards "Bet El" settlement} then reopened it at 00:35.

Flying Checkpoints

1. At 09:15, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint near "Halmish"settlement junction then searched residents and vehicles until 11:25.
2. At 13:55 and again at 19:00, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint near the entrance of Al-Nabi Saleh village then searched residents and vehicles until 23:25.
3. At 17:00, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Khirbithat Al-Misbah village then searched residents and vehicles.
4. At 19:25, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint near the entrance of Abboud town then searched residents and vehicles until 23:20.
5. At 20:10, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Beitin village then searched residents and vehicles until 23:30.

Raid

1. At 02:40, Israeli forces raided Al-Mughier village.
2. At 03:50, Israeli forces raided Bir Ziet town and stormed The Edward Said Institute.
3. At 04:50, Israeli forces raided Safa village and detained a resident.
4. At dawn on September 11th 2018, Israeli forces raided Al-Bireh city, detained a resident and confiscated a cellular telephone and a laptop computer.

Detention

1. Israeli forces detained Hassan Karajat in Um Safa village.
2. Israeli forces detained Hytham Siyaj in Ramallah city.

Confiscation of Property

At dawn on September 11th 2018, Israeli forces confiscated a cellular telephone and a laptop computer owned by Haytham Abdel-Nassir Siyaj after he was detained during their raid into Al-Bireh city.

Closure of main Roads

At 23:20, Israeli forces closed the main entrance of Al-Jalazoun camp then reopened it at 00:30.

JENIN

Flying Checkpoints

At 21:20, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint near the entrance of Um Al-Tut village then searched residents and vehicles until 03:00.

Raid

At 17:10, Israeli forces raided Al-Silah Al-Harthiya town, detained a child then withdrew at 03:05.

Detention

Israeli forces detained the child: Omar Abdel-Rahman Obiedi {14 years old} in Al-Silah Al-Harthiya town.

TUBAS

Military Checkpoints

At 10:15, the Israeli Military intensified their restrictions at Tayassir military checkpoint and impeded the free flow of traffic.

Settlers Attacks

At 11:20, a group of Israeli settlers stormed Samara area located in the North Jordan valley and assaulted Thiyab Abd Awad Daraghma and stole his personal belongings.

TULKAREM

Military Checkpoints

At 18:20, Israeli forces intensified their restrictions at "Enav" military checkpoint and impeded the free flow of traffic until 20:00.

Flying Checkpoints

At 18:40, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint along Al-Kafriyat road {which connects Tulkarem and Qalqiliya districts} then searched residents and vehicles until 20:40.

QALQILIYA

Raid

At 23:30, Israeli forces raided Azzun town until 03:30.

Attack

At 21:00, Israeli forces positioned at "Ayal" crossing point located in North Qalqiliya city fired stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents for alleged stoning.

NABLUS

Flying Checkpoints

1. At 13:25, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint near the entrance of Beit Iba town then searched residents and vehicles.
2. At 23:30, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint in Al-Muraba' area located near the entrance of Tel village then searched residents and vehicles until 00:30.
3. At 01:35, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint near "Shavie Shamron" settlement junction then searched residents and vehicles.

Raid

At 13:35, Israeli forces raided Beit Iba town, clashed with several residents as they stormed and searched several merchant shops then withdrew at 15:15.

Attack

At 13:35, Israeli forces fired stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents for alleged stoning as they stormed and searched several merchant shops during their raid into Beit Iba town.

Settlers Attacks

At 17:40, a group of Israeli settlers under the protection of Israeli Military forces stormed the main road connecting Qabalan town and Yatma village then withdrew at 19:00.

SALFIT

Flying Checkpoints

1. At 16:30, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Harris town then searched residents and vehicles.
2. At 18:40, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the west entrance of Deir Istiya town then searched residents and vehicles until 19:30.

JERICHO

Flying Checkpoints

At 17:45, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the North entrance of Jericho city then searched residents and vehicles.

BETHLEHEM

Raid

1. At 11:15, Israeli forces raided Nihalin village until 13:40.
2. At 18:30, Israeli forces raided Al-Walaja village until 19:45.
3. At 03:50, Israeli forces raided Teqou' town, stormed and searched a home, summoned 2 residents: Sayef Mahmoud Musa Al-Amour and Nour Mahmoud Musa Al-Amour to report to Israeli Intelligence for questioning.

Temporary Detention

At 11:45, Israeli forces positioned at Container Military checkpoint temporarily detained Lamis Raed Nayef {A resident of Al-Thahriya town} for allegedly being wanted by the Israeli Intelligence agency then released her at a later time.

HEBRON

Flying Checkpoints

At 18:20, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Wadi Al-Samin area located in south Hebron city then searched residents and vehicles.

Raid

At 03:55, Israeli forces raided Hebron city, stormed and searched 2 homes and confiscated a vehicle.

Detention

At 14:20, Israeli forces detained 2 residents: Ra'fat Ghayth and Mus'ab Al-Rajabi in Jabal Juhar area located in the old city of Hebron.

Temporary Detention

At 08:50, Israeli forces positioned in the old city of Hebron temporarily detained Adnan Da'na {A school principle} then released him at a later time.

Assault on Educational sector

At 08:30, Israeli forces attempted to stormed a local boys secondary school in the old city of Hebron and assaulted several school teachers then fired stun and tear gas canisters towards school children who were inside the school and as a result injured a teacher and left several school children suffocated from tear gas inhalation.

Attack

1. At 08:30, Israeli forces fired stun and tear gas canisters towards school children who were inside the school as they stormed a local boys secondary school in the old city of Hebron and assaulted several school teachers and as a result injured a teacher and left several school children suffocated from tear gas inhalation.
2. At 20:15, Israeli forces positioned near Tariq Bin Ziyad junction in the old city of Hebron fired stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents for alleged stoning.

Injuries

Israeli forces injured Shuqri Al-Zaro Al-Tamimi {A school teacher} after they assaulted several school teachers as they stormed a local boys secondary school in the old city of Hebron.

Confiscation of Property

At 03:55, Israeli forces confiscated a vehicle owned by Jamal Al-Karamat during their raid into Hebron city.

Settlers Attacks

On September 10th 2018, a group of Israeli settlers from "Migon" and "Havat Migon" settlements and stormed agricultural land in Al-Hamra area located in east Yatta town then uprooted 15 Olive trees owned by Al-Raba'i family.

GAZA STRIP

ALL DISTRICTS

• Since 19:00 on August 26th 2014, Palestinian Gunmen and the Israeli military agreed to a cease fire agreement (brokered by the Arab Republic of Egypt) which includes the opening of border crossings to allow the entry of emergency supplies and humanitarian goods as well as construction material and agreed to increase the fishing limit to 6 nautical miles with possibility of increase to 12 nautical miles by the end of the year and to decrease the Military area to 100 meters, allow freedom of movement and a halt to targeted killings and assassinations and negotiations will be held for discussion on rebuilding the seaport and airports and on May 4th 2017, Israeli authorities increased the fishing limit to 9 nautical miles from Wadi Gaza until the south border of the Gaza strip and on June 26th 2017 Israeli forces decreased the fishing limit back to 6 nautical miles and on October 17th 2017, Israeli forces increased the fishing limit back to 9 nautical miles and on December 12th 2017 reduced fishing area from 9 nautical miles to 6 nautical miles south of Wadi Gaza and opposite to Rafah and on July 17th 2018, Israeli forces reduced the fishing area from 6 nautical miles to 3 nautical miles, On August 15th 2018, Israeli forces increased the fishing area from 3 nautical miles up to 9 nautical miles from the coast of Al-Badeir area located in Central Gaza up to Rafah district located South of the Gaza strip.

• The Israeli Military broke the ceasefire agreement by opening fire from their positions behind the Green Line towards North Gaza and Rafah districts and as a result injured 9 residents and left 40 others suffocated from tear gas inhalation.
• Israeli Naval vessels broke the ceasefire agreement by opening fire towards Palestinian fishing boats off the shores of North Gaza district.

NORTHERN GAZA

Closure of Crossing Points

Beit Hanun (Erez) crossing is closed {with the exception of critically ill patients}.

Attack

1. At 16:00 on September 10th 2018, Israeli Naval forces fired live ammunition and tear gas canisters towards approximately 50 Palestinian fishing boats during a protests held by Palestinian fishermen off the shored of Al-Sudaniya area located in west Beit Lahiya until 19:30.
2. At 17:00 on September 10th 2018, Israeli forces positioned behind the Green Line fired live ammunition, rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas canisters towards several demonstrators who were participating in the march of return in east Jabaliya town and as a result injured 9 residents and left 40 others suffocated from tear gas inhalation.

Injuries

Israeli forces injured 9 unidentified residents during clashes in east Jabliya town.

Detention

At 11:45 on September 10th 2018, Israeli forces detained a unidentified resident in North Beit Lahiya town as he attempted to climb the border fence into Israel.

GAZA

Closure of Crossing Points

* Al-Muntar (Karni) Crossing is closed. Beginning on 02 March 2011, the Crossing has been effectively closed following a unilateral Israeli decision.
* Al-Shija’iya (Nahal ‘Oz) Crossing is closed. Beginning on 04 January 2010, the Crossing has closed following a unilateral Israeli decision.

RAFAH

Closure of Crossing Points

* Yasser ‘Arafat International Airport remains closed.
*Rafah (Al ‘Awdah) Crossing is open for the entry and exit of residents.
* Sufa Crossing is closed.
* Karm Abu Salem (Karem Shalom) Crossing is closed.

Attack

At 11:00 on September 10th 2018, Israeli forces positioned behind the Green Line opened fire towards several residents near the border fence in east Rafah city during which the residents were able to flee inside the Gaza strip.
