WEST BANK

ALL DISTRICTS

Closure

• Since 24:00 on September 8th 2018, Israeli military imposed a full closure of the West Bank districts on the occasion of the Jewish New Year, and prevented citizens and workers, including permit holders, from entering Jerusalem and Israel, except for humanitarian cases after prior coordination and the closure was lifted at 24:00 on September 11th 2018.

JERUSALEM

Flying Checkpoints

At 09:00, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Al-Khan Al-Ahmar area then searched residents and vehicles.

Detention

At 11:30, Israeli forces detained 3 residents: Muntasir Sa'id Basat, Yusef Imad Al-Shamali and Soliman Mohammad Basat {All are residents of Al-Eizariya town} for allegedly setting fire to a Green house in Al-Fashkha area near the Dead sea.

Attack

At 20:30, Israeli forces positioned at Al-Jabal area junction in Abu Dis town fired stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents for alleged stoning.

Closure of main Roads

On the evening of September 11th 2018, Israeli forces closed the steel gate entrance of the Bedouin community in Al-Khan Al-Ahmar area and prevented solidarity protesters from reaching the area.

RAMALLAH & AL BIREH

Military Checkpoints

At 22:10, Israeli forces closed "Al-Mahkama" military checkpoint near "Bet El" settlement in North Al-Bireh city and impeded the free flow of traffic.

Flying Checkpoints

1. At 15:50, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Um Safa village then searched residents and vehicles.
2. At 20:50, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Al-Nabi Saleh village then searched residents and vehicles.

Raid

1. At 01:20, Israeli forces raided Deir Qadis village until 01:30.
2. At 02:00, Israeli forces raided Silwad town, stormed and searched several homes then withdrew at 03:45.
3. At 04:10, Israeli forces raided Al-Mughier village until 06:00.
4. At dawn on September 12th 2018, Israeli forces raided Beit Ur At Tahta village and detained a resident.

Detention

1. At 03:50 on September 11th 2018, Israeli forces detained Sayef Saher Suhiel Al-Idrisi {A resident of Tulkarem city} during their raid into Bir Ziet town.
2. Israeli forces detained Othman Mahmoud Othman in Beit Ur At Tahta village.

JENIN

Flying Checkpoints

At 00:15, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint in the area located between Al-Zababdah town and the Arab-American University then searched residents and vehicles.

Raid

At dawn on September 12th 2018, Israeli forces raided Jenin city.

TUBAS

Military Checkpoints

At 08:00 on September 11th 2018, Israeli forces intensified their restrictions at Tayassir military checkpoint and impeded the free flow of traffic.

TULKAREM

Military Checkpoints

At 10:20,Israeli forces intensified their restrictions at"Enav" military checkpoint and impeded the free flow of traffic until 12:15.

QALQILIYA

Flying Checkpoints

1. At 18:15, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint in the area between Azzun town and Izbit Al-Tabib village then searched residents and vehicles until 18:30.
2. At 19:30, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the east entrance of Qalqiliya city then searched residents and vehicles until 23:30.

Raid

At 00:30, Israeli forces raided Azzun town {for alleged stoning incident towards a bus carrying Israeli settlers it traveled along the main road near the town}.

Closure of main Roads

At 16:25, Israeli forces closed the main entrance of Azzun town and impeded the free flow of traffic until reopening it at a later time.

SALFIT

Flying Checkpoints

1. At 14:05, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Deir Ballout town then searched residents and vehicles.
2. At 17:55, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Deir Istiya town then searched residents and vehicles.
3. At 20:00, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the east entrance of Marda village then searched residents and vehicles until 20:30.

JERICHO

Raid

At 19:20, Israeli forces raided Jericho city, clashed with several residents and as a result injured a resident then withdrew at 19:40.

Attack

At 19:20, Israeli forces fired live ammunition, rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents for alleged stoning during their raid into Jericho city and as a result injured a resident.

Injuries

Israeli forces injured Quasay Tayssir Mohammad Tanous during clashes in Jericho city.

BETHLEHEM

Military Checkpoints

At 22:35, Israeli forces intensified their restrictions at "Al-Container" military checkpoint and impeded the free flow of traffic until 01:20.

Raid

At 02:40, Israeli forces raided Ayda camp in Bethlehem city, detained a resident and summoned the child: Layth Fadi Naji Abu Akir {14 years old} to report to Israeli Intelligence for questioning.

Detention

Israeli forces detained Mazen Bassam Mohammad Abu Khadeir in Ayda camp in Bethlehem city.

HEBRON

Flying Checkpoints

At 09:40, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at Wadi Al-Hariya area junction located in Hebron city then searched residents and vehicles.

Raid

At 10:45, Israeli forces raided Hebron city and clashed with several residents for alleged stoning.

Attack

1. At 10:45, Israeli forces fired stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents for alleged stoning during their raid into Hebron city.
2. At 20:05, Israeli force positioned in Al-Arub camp fired rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents for alleged stoning as they stormed and searched several homes during their raid into Al-Arrub camp.

Settlers Attacks

At 09:40, a group of Israeli settlers positioned near the entrance of Al-Ibrahimi mosque compound in the Old city of Hebron and prevented residents from entering to celebrate Al-Hijri new year.

GAZA STRIP

ALL DISTRICTS

• Since 19:00 on August 26th 2014, Palestinian Gunmen and the Israeli military agreed to a cease fire agreement (brokered by the Arab Republic of Egypt) which includes the opening of border crossings to allow the entry of emergency supplies and humanitarian goods as well as construction material and agreed to increase the fishing limit to 6 nautical miles with possibility of increase to 12 nautical miles by the end of the year and to decrease the Military area to 100 meters, allow freedom of movement and a halt to targeted killings and assassinations and negotiations will be held for discussion on rebuilding the seaport and airports and on May 4th 2017, Israeli authorities increased the fishing limit to 9 nautical miles from Wadi Gaza until the south border of the Gaza strip and on June 26th 2017 Israeli forces decreased the fishing limit back to 6 nautical miles and on October 17th 2017, Israeli forces increased the fishing limit back to 9 nautical miles and on December 12th 2017 reduced fishing area from 9 nautical miles to 6 nautical miles south of Wadi Gaza and opposite to Rafah and on July 17th 2018, Israeli forces reduced the fishing area from 6 nautical miles to 3 nautical miles, On August 15th 2018, Israeli forces increased the fishing area from 3 nautical miles up to 9 nautical miles from the coast of Al-Badeir area located in Central Gaza up to Rafah district located South of the Gaza strip.

• The Israeli Military broke the ceasefire agreement by opening fire from their positions behind the Green Line towards North Gaza, Gaza and Rafah districts.
• Israeli Naval vessels broke the ceasefire agreement by opening fire towards Palestinian fishing boats off the shores of North Gaza and Central Gaza districts.

NORTHERN GAZA

Closure of Crossing Points

*Beit Hanun (Erez) crossing is closed {with the exception of critically ill patients}.

Attack

1. At 18:30 on September 11th 2018, Israeli forces positioned behind the Green Line fired live ammunition, rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas canisters towards several demonstrators who were participating in the march of return in east Jabaliya town.
2. At 18:45 on September 11th 2018, Israeli forces positioned behind the Green Line opened fire towards Palestinian gunmen sites in North Beit Lahiya town.
3. At 23:50 on September 11th 2018, Israeli forces positioned behind the Green Line opened fire towards several residents positioned near the border fence in east Jabaliya town.
4. At 23:50 on September 11th 2018, Israeli Naval vessels opened fire towards Palestinian fishing boats off the shores of Al-Sudaniya area located in west Beit Lahiya town.
5. At 23:55 on September 11th 2018, Israeli forces positioned behind the Green line opened fire towards agricultural land in east Beit Hanun town.

GAZA

Closure of Crossing Points

* Al-Muntar (Karni) Crossing is closed. Beginning on 02 March 2011, the Crossing has been effectively closed following a unilateral Israeli decision.
* Al-Shija’iya (Nahal ‘Oz) Crossing is closed. Beginning on 04 January 2010, the Crossing has closed following a unilateral Israeli decision.

Attack

At 08:30 on September 11th 2018, Israeli forces positioned behind the Green line opened fire towards agricultural land in east Gaza city.

CENTRAL GAZA

Attack

On the evening of September 11th 2018, Israeli Naval vessels opened fire towards Palestinian fishing boats off the shores of Al-Nassirat camp.

KHAN YUNIS

Attack

At 08:30 on September 11th 2018, Israeli forces positioned behind the Green line opened fire towards agricultural land in east Khan Yunis city.
