Closure

• At 24:00 on September 16th 2019,The Israeli Military imposed a total closure on the West Bank governorates due to the Israeli Knesset elections on September 17, 2019, and prevented citizens and workers, including holders of permits, from entering Jerusalem and Israel, with the exception of diplomatic and international missions, humanitarian and emergency medical cases after prior coordination until 24:00 on September 17th 2019.

JERUSALEM

Raid

1. At 09:30, Israeli forces raided Al-Eizariya town and detained 3 residents.
2. At 23:00, Israeli forces raided Al-Eisawiya village, clashed with several residents as they stormed and searched several homes then detained a resident.

Detention

1. Israeli forces detained 3 residents: Sidqi Samer Sidqi Jabr, Omar Abayat, and Saleh Abayat in Al-Eizariya town.
2. Israeli forces detained Sultan Nour El Din Obied in Al-Eisawiya village.

Attack

At 23:00, Israeli forces fired stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents for alleged stoning as they stormed and searched several homes during their raid into Al-Eisawiya village.

Obstruction of Places of Worship

At 09:00,a group of Israeli settlers under the protection of Israeli Military and Police forces stormed Al-Aqsa mosque compound and provoked worshipers.

RAMALLAH & AL BIREH

Flying Checkpoints

1. At 09:45, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Deir Nitham village then assaulted a resident leaving him hospitalized with contusions.
2. At 21:40, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at "Halamish" settlement junction then searched residents and vehicles.
3. At 21:50, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at Surda village junction then searched residents and vehicles until 22:10.
4. At 23:30, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Abboud town then searched residents and vehicles.

Raid

1. At 14:10, Israeli forces raided Deir Nitham village until 15:00.
2. At 04:20, Israeli forces raided Silwad town then stormed and searched 2 homes.

Physical Assault

At 09:45, Israeli forces positioned at a flying checkpoint located at the entrance of Deir Nitham village assaulted Safi Al-Tamimi leaving him hospitalized with contusions.

JENIN

Raid

1. At 02:45, Israeli forces raided Jenin city the stormed and searched 2 homes.
2. On the evening of September 16th 2019, Israeli forces raided Al-Tayba village and clashed with several residents.

Attack

On the evening of September 16th 2019, Israeli forces fired stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents for alleged stoning during their raid into Al-Tayba village.

TUBAS

Raid

At 09:30, Israeli forces raided Khirbeit Ibzi' village located in North East Tubas city stormed Al-Tahadi {10} school then withdrew at 12:05.

At 01:10, Israeli forces raided Kafr Qaddum village.

At 18:30,Israeli forces intensified their restrictions at Beit Furik military checkpoint and impeded the free flow of traffic.

At 18:30, Israeli forces raided Sabastiya village and detonated a Palestinian flag pole located in archaeological site in the area.

1. On the morning of September 16th 2019, a group of Israeli settlers stormed Duma village, slashed the tires of a vehicle owned by Murad Ahmad Dawabsha then spray painted anti arab and racist slogans on several homes.
2. At 22:00, a group of Israeli settlers from "Yitzhar" settlement attacked several residential homes located in east Einabus village during which Israeli forces fired rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents who were attempting to prevent the settler attack and as a result injured 2 residents.

At 22:00, Israeli forces fired rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents who were attempting to prevent the settler attack in east Einabus village and as a result injured 2 residents.

Injuries

Israeli forces injured 2 residents: Soliman Hassan Abu Sa'adat and Miladi Hassan Miladi after firing rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents who were attempting to prevent the settler attack in east Einabus village.

SALFIT

1. At 16:30, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Kafil Harris town then searched residents and vehicles.
2. At 23:30, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Kafr Al-Dik town then searched residents and vehicles until 00:25.

1. At 09:10 and again at 21:20,Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the North entrance of Jericho city then searched residents and vehicles until 23:20.
2. At 21:20,Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the south entrance of Jericho city then searched residents and vehicles until 23:15.

BETHLEHEM

1. At 13:40, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint near Al-Nashash area junction {located at the south entrance of Bethlehem city} then searched residents and vehicles until 15:00.
2. At 19:25, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Jurat Al-Sham'a village then searched residents and vehicles until 19:35.

At 03:30, Israeli forces raided Aydat camp in Bethlehem city then detained a resident.

Israeli forces detained Muhanad Mahmoud Ahmad Ja'arat in Aydat camp in Bethlehem city.

HEBRON

Flying Checkpoints

1. At 12:00, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at Ithna town junction then searched residents and vehicles.
2. At 13:50, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint in Khliat Hadour area located in the old city of Hebron then searched residents and vehicles.
3. At 18:20, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint along Halhul town bridge then searched residents and vehicles.

On the afternoon of September 16th 2019, Israeli forces raided Al-Thaher area located in Beit Ummar town and clashed with several resident.

Attack

On the afternoon of September 16th 2019, Israeli forces fired rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents for alleged stoning during their raid into Al-Thaher area located in Beit Ummar town.

Settlers Attacks

At 13:50, a group of Israeli settlers stormed Tel Al-Rumayada neighborhood in the old city of Hebron then set fire to several Olive trees.

GAZA STRIP

ALL DISTRICTS

• At 19:00 on August 26th 2019,The permanent and comprehensive cease-fire entered into force on the initiative and sponsorship of the Arab Republic of Egypt, after reaching understandings to open the crossings, introduce humanitarian and relief assistance and reconstruction supplies, expand the fishing area for 6 miles, Up to 12 miles by the end of the current year, reducing the area of ​​the buffer zone from 300 m to 100 m, freedom of movement and preventing assassinations. On the morning of 28 June 2019, the Israeli occupation forces allowed the expansion of the sea fishing area in the north of the town of Beit Lahia in the northern Gaza Strip and up to 6 nautical miles from the port of Gaza and from the port of Gaza to the south of Rafah until 15 nautical miles .

On the evening of September 16th 2019, Israeli forces positioned at Beit Hanun (Erez) crossing detained Yusef Jawad Hassan {a merchant}{a resident of Gaza city} as he was reporting to Israeli intelligence for questioning at the crossing point.

GAZA

Closure of Crossing Points

* Al-Muntar (Karni) Crossing is closed. Beginning on 02 March 2011, the Crossing has been effectively closed following a unilateral Israeli decision.
* Al-Shija’iya (Nahal ‘Oz) Crossing is closed. Beginning on 04 January 2010, the Crossing has closed following a unilateral Israeli decision.

KHAN YUNIS

Raid

At 09:00 on September 16th 2019, Israeli Military forces escorting bulldozers stormed 50 m into the vicinity of east Khuz'a town located in east Khan Yunis city and opened fire as they leveled a plot of agricultural land then withdrew at 14:30.

Attack

1. At 08:15 on September 16th 2019,Israeli forces positioned behind the Green Line opened fire towards agricultural land in east Khan Yunis city.
2. At 11:00 on September 16th 2019,Israeli forces positioned behind the Green Line opened fire towards agricultural land in east Al-Qarara town located in North east Khan Yunis city.

RAFAH

Closure of Crossing Points

* Yasser ‘Arafat International Airport remains closed.
*Rafah (Al ‘Awdah) Crossing is open for the entry and exit of travelers.
* Sufa Crossing is closed.
* Karm Abu Salem (Karem Shalom) Crossing is partially open for the entrance of Humanitarian aid, limited supplies of Diesel fuel and construction material for Internationally funded projects.
