WEST BANK

Closure

• Since 24:00 on September 17th 2018, The Israeli forces imposed a total closure on the West Bank governorates on the occasion of the Jewish "Yom Kippur" holiday, and prevented citizens and workers, including permit holders, from entering Jerusalem and Israel, except for humanitarian cases, after prior coordination until 24:00 on September 19th 2018.

JERUSALEM

Attack

At 18:40, Israeli forces positioned in Al-Masrara neighborhood in Jerusalem city opened fire towards a residents for allegedly attacking a Israeli settler and as a result killed him.

Killings

Israeli forces opened fire towards and killed Mohammad Yusef Sha'ban Aliyan{26 years old}{A resident of Qalandiya camp} in Al-Masrara neighborhood in Jerusalem city.

Detention

1. At 10:00, Israeli forces detained 2 residents: Ghayth Nassir Ghayth and Jihad Nasir Quws in the old city of Jerusalem.
3. At 14:00, Israeli forces detained Ramzi Billal Mahmoud Assai'd in the old city of Jerusalem.
4. At 20:30, Israeli forces detained Mohammad Abu Shusha in Jerusalem city.

Deportation

On the evening of September 18th 2018, Israeli authorities in Jerusalem city issued court orders banning 7 residents: Raed Zaghir, Haitham Al-Halawani, Thaer Abu Sabeeh, Rami Saleh Al-Fakhouri, Murad Al-Ashhab, Hamza Badr Zughair and Mahmoud Al-Munis from Jerusalem city as a condition for their release from Israeli Police custody after being detained at an earlier time.

Obstruction of Places of Worship

At 09:00, a group of Israeli settlers under the protection of Israeli Military and Police officers stormed Al-Aqsa mosque compound and provoked worshipers.

RAMALLAH & AL BIREH

Flying Checkpoints

1. At 20:15, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Abboud town then searched residents and vehicles until 22:15.
2. At 20:25, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Al-Nabi Saleh village then searched residents and vehicles until 22:15.

Raid

At 12:20, Israeli forces raided Qubiyat village then stormed and searched a home.

Detention

At 22:00, Israeli forces positioned near Surda village detained Eid Khalid Abu Tiyour {A resident of Al-Jalazoun camp}.

TUBAS

Destruction of Property

On the morning of September 18th 2018, Israeli forces leveled a 1500 m long and 6 inches wide water pipeline network.

TULKAREM

Military Checkpoints

At 09:45, the Israeli Military Intensified their restrictions at "Enav" military checkpoint and impeded the free flow of traffic until 12:00.

At 18:10, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint in the area between Azzun town and Izbit Al-Tabib village then searched residents and vehicles.

At 14:00, Israeli forces raided Azzun town, clashed with several residents as they stormed and searched several merchant shops then confiscated several surveillance camera footage recorders.

Settlers Attacks

At 15:05, a group of Israeli settlers positioned at Jama'in town junction stoned residents and vehicles then assaulted Ali Salah Hamad Salama and smashed the windshield of a Fuel truck owned by Abdel-Karim Ismail during which they withdrew under the protection of the Israeli Military.

SALFIT

1. At 08:50, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Harris town then searched residents and vehicles.
2. At 19:35, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the North entrance of Bruqin town then searched residents and vehicles.

At 09:20, Israeli forces positioned at Za'tara junction checkpoint detained Ahmad Samir Abu Rawis {A Palestinian Police Officer}{A Resident of Balata camp in Nablus city}.

JERICHO

Flying Checkpoints

1. At 08:50, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint along the main road in Al-Oja village then searched residents and vehicles.
2. At 22:25, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint along road (90) in Al-Oja village then searched residents and vehicles.

BETHLEHEM

Flying Checkpoints

At 16:15, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Beit Jallah city then searched residents and vehicles.

Raid

At 10:30, Israeli forces raided Teqou' town, clashed with several residents then withdrew at 11:00.

Attack

At 10:30, Israeli forces fired stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents for alleged stoning during their raid into Teqou' town.

HEBRON

Flying Checkpoints

1. At 10:55, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Al-Fuwar camp then searched residents and vehicles.
2. At 12:30, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Al-Nabi Yunis area {located along the main road in Hebron and Bethlehem} then searched residents and vehicles.
3. At 14:10, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Al-Samou' town then searched residents and vehicles.

GAZA STRIP

ALL DISTRICTS

• Since 19:00 on August 26th 2014, Palestinian Gunmen and the Israeli military agreed to a cease fire agreement (brokered by the Arab Republic of Egypt) which includes the opening of border crossings to allow the entry of emergency supplies and humanitarian goods as well as construction material and agreed to increase the fishing limit to 6 nautical miles with possibility of increase to 12 nautical miles by the end of the year and to decrease the Military area to 100 meters, allow freedom of movement and a halt to targeted killings and assassinations and negotiations will be held for discussion on rebuilding the seaport and airports and on May 4th 2017, Israeli authorities increased the fishing limit to 9 nautical miles from Wadi Gaza until the south border of the Gaza strip and on June 26th 2017 Israeli forces decreased the fishing limit back to 6 nautical miles and on October 17th 2017, Israeli forces increased the fishing limit back to 9 nautical miles and on December 12th 2017 reduced fishing area from 9 nautical miles to 6 nautical miles south of Wadi Gaza and opposite to Rafah and on July 17th 2018, Israeli forces reduced the fishing area from 6 nautical miles to 3 nautical miles, On August 15th 2018, Israeli forces increased the fishing area from 3 nautical miles up to 9 nautical miles from the coast of Al-Badeir area located in Central Gaza up to Rafah district located South of the Gaza strip.

• The Israeli Military broke the ceasefire agreement by raiding North Gaza district.
• The Israeli Military broke the ceasefire agreement by opening fire from their positions behind the Green Line towards North Gaza, Gaza, and Khan Yunis districts and as result killed 2 residents and injured 16 residents and left several others suffocated from tear gas inhalation.

NORTHERN GAZA

Closure of Crossing Points

* Beit Hanun (Erez) crossing is Open for Gaza and West Bank ID holders entering Gaza until 13:00 with the exception of urgent humanitarian and medical cases.

Attack

At 17:00 on September 18th 2018, Israeli forces positioned behind the Green Line fired live ammunition, rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas canisters towards several demonstrators near Beit Hanun (Erez) crossing located in North Beit Hanun town during the march of return and as a result killed 2 residents, injured 15 residents and and left several others suffocated from tear gas inhalation.

Killings

Israeli forces killed 2 residents: Hamad Ahmed Abu Naji{34 yearsa old}{A resident of Beit Lahiya town}, and Ahmed Mohammed Mohsen Omar {20 years old}{A resident of Al-Shati refugee camp in Gaza City} during clashes near Beit Hanun (Erez) crossing located in North Beit Hanun town.

Injuries

Israeli forces injured 15 unidentified residents during clashes near Beit Hanun (Erez) crossing located in North Beit Hanun town.

GAZA

Closure of Crossing Points

* Al-Muntar (Karni) Crossing is closed. Beginning on 02 March 2011, the Crossing has been effectively closed following a unilateral Israeli decision.
* Al-Shija’iya (Nahal ‘Oz) Crossing is closed. Beginning on 04 January 2010, the Crossing has closed following a unilateral Israeli decision.

Raid

On the morning of September 18th 2018, Israeli forces escorting Military bulldozers stormed 50 m into the vicinity of east Gaza city and leveled a plot of land and pilled up dirt mounds as they installed barbed wire fencing in the area.

Attack

On the evening of September 18th 2018, Israeli forces positioned behind the Green Line fired live ammunition, rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas canisters towards several demonstrators in east Gaza city.

KHAN YUNIS

Attack

On the evening of September 18th 2018, Israeli forces positioned behind the Green Line fired live ammunition, rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas canisters towards several demonstrators in east Khuz'a town located in east Khan Yunis city and as a result injured a resident.

Injuries

Israeli forces injured a unidentified resident during clashes in east Khuz'a town located in east Khan Yunis city.

RAFAH

Closure of Crossing Points

* Yasser ‘Arafat International Airport remains closed.
*Rafah (Al ‘Awdah) Crossing is open for the entry and exit of residents.
* Sufa Crossing is closed.
* Karm Abu Salem (Karem Shalom) Crossing is closed.
