WEST BANK

ALL DISTRICTS

Closure

At 24:00 on September 22nd 2018, The Israeli Military imposed a full closure on the West Bank governorates/Districts on the occasion of the "Sukkot" holiday in the city and prevented citizens and workers, including permit holders, from entering Jerusalem and Israel, Until 24:00 on September 24th 2018.

JERUSALEM

Flying Checkpoints

At 21:00, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the north entrance of Anata town then searched residents and vehicles.

Raid

At 11:00, Israeli forces raided Al-Eizariya town, clashed with several residents as they stormed and searched several homes then detained 2 residents.

Detention

Israeli forces detained 2 residents: Yasser Darwish Abu Al-Hassan and Mohammad Bassam Ma'touq in Al-Eizariya town.

Temporary Detention

At 11:00, Israeli forces positioned at Beit Iksa Military checkpoint prevented the Palestinian Minister of Education and Higher Education: Dr. Sabri Saidam and his accompanying Delegation from entering Beit Iksa village in order to inspect the progress of the educational process in the village schools, and forced him to return they withdrew his entry permit.

Deportation

At 11:30, Israeli authorities in Jerusalem city served orders for 14 residents {including 4 employees for the Islamic Endowments for Al-Aqsa mosque compound}: Shadi al-Mutawar, Mohammed al-Dabbagh, Raed al-Zaghir, Hossam Sidr, Mahdi al-Abbasi, Mahmoud Abdul Latif, Thaer Salman Abu Sabeeh, Ihab al-Zaghir, Hamza al-Zaghir, Rami Fakhouri, Jamil al-Abbasi, Jihad Abu Qus and Mahmoud al-Mons. preventing them from entering Al-Aqsa mosque compound in the old city of Jerusalem

Attack

At 11:00, Israeli forces fired stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents for alleged stoning as they stormed and searched several homes during their raid into Al-Eizariya.

Obstruction of Places of Worship

At 09:00, a group of Israeli settlers under the protection of Israeli Military and Police officers stormed Al-Aqsa mosque compound and provoked worshipers.

RAMALLAH & AL BIREH

Flying Checkpoints

1. At 17:20, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of B eit Ur At Tahta then searched residents and vehicles.
2. At 19:30, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Al-Nabi Saleh village then searched residents and vehicles until 20:40.
3. At 23:00, Israeli forces set up 2 checkpoints at the entrance of Sinjil town and Ein Sinya village then searched residents and vehicles.

Attack

At 17:20, Israeli forces positioned near Al-Nabi Saleh village fired rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents for alleged stoning.

JENIN

Flying Checkpoints

At 23:20, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Al-Ijdayda village then searched residents and vehicles.

Raid

1. At 22:40, Israeli forces raided Faqu'a and Arrubuna villages.
2. At 00:35, Israeli forces raided Al-Zababda town.

TULKAREM

Military Checkpoints

At 19:20, Israeli forces intensified their restrictions at "Enav" military checkpoint and impeded the free flow of traffic until 23:30.

QALQILIYA

Flying Checkpoints

At 22:45, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at Jit village junction then searched residents and vehicles.

Raid

At 16:15, Israeli forces raided Jayyous town and clashed with several residents.

Attack

At 16:15, Israeli forces fired stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents for alleged stoning during their raid into Jayyous town.

NABLUS

Flying Checkpoints

1. At 09:10, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at "Shavie Shamron" settlement junction then searched residents and vehicle until 16:25.
2. At 00:20, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Beit Wazzan village then searched residents and vehicles until 07:00.

Raid

At dawn on September 23rd 2018, Israeli forces raided Askar camp in Nablus city, clashed with several residents as they stormed and searched several homes then detained 3 residents.

Detention

Israeli forces detained 3 residents: Ashraf Mahmoud Faour, Suleiman Mahmoud Kaabi, and Ibrahim Khalil Ibrahim Al-Naqib in Askar camp in Nablus city.

Attack

At dawn on September 23rd 2018, Israeli forces fired stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents for alleged stoning during their raid into Askar camp in Nablus city.

SALFIT

Flying Checkpoints

At 17:55, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Kafil Harris town then searched residents and vehicles.

Settlers Attacks

At 10:30, a group of Israeli settlers stormed Deir Istiya town then withdrew at a later time.

JERICHO

Flying Checkpoints

At 15:50, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the south entrance of Jericho city and temporarily detained a National Security Force officer then released him at a later 16:05.

Raid

On September 23rd 2018, Israeli forces raided Aqbat Al-Jabr camp in Jericho city, served military orders for the demolition of 6 homes owned by Musa Salem Karshan, Ali Hassan Kershan, Mamdouh Hassan Karshan, Yousuf Hassan Kershan, Meteb Salim Kershan, Nayef Hasan Karshan and gave them 3 weeks to remove their personal belonging before implementing the demolition. .

Temporary Detention

At 15:50, Israeli forces positioned at a flying checkpoint located at the south entrance of Jericho city temporarily detained Mahmoud Taha Radi {A National Security Force Officer} then released him at 16:05.

BETHLEHEM

Military Checkpoints

At 10:55, Israeli forces intensified their restrictions at Al Container checkpoint and impeded the free flow of traffic until 11:40.

Flying Checkpoints

1. At 11:40, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint in the area between Nihalin and Husan villages and impeded the free flow of traffic until 15:05.
2. At 18:05, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the west entrance of Husan village then searched residents and vehicles until 22:30.

Raid

At 11:40, Israeli forces raided Nihalin village, clashed with several residents then withdrew at 15:05.

Detention

On the morning of September 23rd 2018, Israeli forces positioned at Container Military checkpoint detained Ahmad Bassam Yusef Hamadin.

Attack

At 11:40, Israeli forces fired stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents for alleged stoning during their raid into Nihalin village.

HEBRON

Raid

At 09:40, Israeli forces raided Al-Shiyoukh town then stormed and searched 3 homes.

Confiscation of Property

At 11:40, Israeli forces confiscated a mobile trailer owned by Mohammad Aqasha located in Al-Mafqara area in east Yatta town.

GAZA STRIP

ALL DISTRICTS

• Since 19:00 on August 26th 2014, Palestinian Gunmen and the Israeli military agreed to a cease fire agreement (brokered by the Arab Republic of Egypt) which includes the opening of border crossings to allow the entry of emergency supplies and humanitarian goods as well as construction material and agreed to increase the fishing limit to 6 nautical miles with possibility of increase to 12 nautical miles by the end of the year and to decrease the Military area to 100 meters, allow freedom of movement and a halt to targeted killings and assassinations and negotiations will be held for discussion on rebuilding the seaport and airports and on May 4th 2017, Israeli authorities increased the fishing limit to 9 nautical miles from Wadi Gaza until the south border of the Gaza strip and on June 26th 2017 Israeli forces decreased the fishing limit back to 6 nautical miles and on October 17th 2017, Israeli forces increased the fishing limit back to 9 nautical miles and on December 12th 2017 reduced fishing area from 9 nautical miles to 6 nautical miles south of Wadi Gaza and opposite to Rafah and on July 17th 2018, Israeli forces reduced the fishing area from 6 nautical miles to 3 nautical miles, On August 15th 2018, Israeli forces increased the fishing area from 3 nautical miles up to 9 nautical miles from the coast of Al-Badeir area located in Central Gaza up to Rafah district located South of the Gaza strip.

• The Israeli Military broke the ceasefire agreement by opening fire from their positions behind the Green Line towards North Gaza, Gaza, Central Gaza, Khan Yunis and Rafah districts and as a result killed a resident and injured 20 others.
• Israeli Military aircraft's broke the ceasefire agreement by launching missiles towards residents in Gaza district .

NORTHERN GAZA

Closure of Crossing Points

* Beit Hanun (Erez) crossing is partially open for the passage of East Jerusalem ID holders and Internationals until 13:00 and for the passage of Gaza ID holders entering Gaza until 15:00 and for the passage of Gaza and West Bank ID holders who have entry permits to enter into Israeli until 13:00 as well as emergency and medical cases.

Attack

1. At 11:00 on September 23rd 2018, Israeli Naval vessels opened fire towards Palestinian fishing boats off the sores of Al-Sudaniya area located in West Beit Lahiya town.
2. At 20:30 on September 23rd 2018, Israeli forces positioned behind the Green Line fired live ammunition, rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas canisters towards several demonstrators near east Jabaliya town during the march of return.
3. At 20:30 on September 23rd 2018, Israeli forces positioned behind the Green Line fired live ammunition, rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas canisters towards several demonstrators near north east Beit Lahiya town during the march of return.

GAZA

Closure of Crossing Points

* Al-Muntar (Karni) Crossing is closed. Beginning on 02 March 2011, the Crossing has been effectively closed following a unilateral Israeli decision.
* Al-Shija’iya (Nahal ‘Oz) Crossing is closed. Beginning on 04 January 2010, the Crossing has closed following a unilateral Israeli decision.

Attack

At 20:30 on September 23rd 2018, Israeli forces positioned behind the Green Line fired live ammunition, rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas canisters towards several demonstrators in east Gaza city participating in the right of return march and as a result killed a resident and injured 11 others.

Air Strike

At 22:00 on September 23rd 2018, Israeli military aircraft's launched 1 missile near several residents who were flying incendiary kites near the border fence in east Gaza city.

Killings

Israeli forces killed Imad Daud Ishtewi {21 years old}{A resident of Gaza city} after opening fire towards demonstrators during clashes in east Gaza city.

Injuries

Israeli forces injured 11 unidentified residents during clashes in east Gaza city.

CENTRAL GAZA

Attack

At 21:00 on September 23rd 2018, Israeli forces positioned behind the Green Line fired live ammunition, rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas canisters towards several demonstrators in east Al-Buriej camp participating in the right of return march and as a result injured 6 residents.

Injuries

Israeli forces injured 6 unidentified residents during clashes in east Al-Buriej camp.

KHAN YUNIS

Attack

At 21:00 on September 23rd 2018, Israeli forces positioned behind the Green Line fired live ammunition, rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas canisters towards several demonstrators in east Khuza'a town located in east Khan Yunis city participating in the right of return march and as a result injured 3 residents..

Injuries

Israeli forces injured 3 unidentified residents during clashes in east Khuza'a town located in east Khan Yunis city.

RAFAH

Closure of Crossing Points

* Yasser ‘Arafat International Airport remains closed.
*Rafah (Al ‘Awdah) Crossing is open for the entry and exit of residents.
