WEST BANK

ALL DISTRICTS

Closure

Since 24:00 on September 22nd 2018, The Israeli Military imposed a full closure on the West Bank governorates/Districts on the occasion of the "Sukkot" holiday in the city and prevented citizens and workers, including permit holders, from entering Jerusalem and Israel, Until 24:00 on September 24th 2018.

JERUSALEM

Flying Checkpoints

1. At 10:50, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint along Wadi Al-Jabr road in Abu Dis town then searched residents and vehicles.
2. At 13:00, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Al-Eizariya town then searched residents and vehicles.

Raid

1. At 16:10, Israeli forces raided Anata town.
2. At dawn on September 25th 2018, Israeli forces raided Al-Eisawiya village then stormed and searched a home.

Detention

At 21:40, Israeli forces detained Omar Al-Ja'abis {A resident of Shu'fat camp in Jerusalem city}.

Attack

On the evening of September 24th 2018, Israeli forces fired stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents for alleged stoning during their raid into Silwan neighborhood in Jerusalem city.

Confiscation of Property

At 21:40, Israeli forces confiscated a bulldozer owned by Omar Al-Ja'abis {A resident of Shu'fat camp} in Jerusalem city.

Obstruction of Places of Worship

At 08:30, a group of Israeli settlers under the protection of Israeli Military and Police officers stormed Al-Aqsa mosque compound and provoked worshipers.

RAMALLAH & AL BIREH

Flying Checkpoints

1. At 10:35 and again at 21:45, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint near "Halmish" settlement junction then searched residents and vehicles.
2. At 15:15, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Sinjil town then searched residents and vehicles until 16:30.
3. At 21:50, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Al-Nabi Saleh village then searched residents and vehicles.
4. At 22:40, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Al-Mazra'a Al-Sharqiya town then searched residents and vehicles.
5. At 23:20, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Um Safa village then searched residents and vehicles.

Attack

At 18:20, Israeli forces positioned near the entrance of Al-Nabi Saleh village fired stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents for alleged stoning.

JENIN

Raid

1. At 14:30, Israeli forces raided Annin, Al-Tayba, Rumana, Zubaba and Ti'inik villages and clashed with several residents in Zubaba village.
2. At 20:05, Israeli forces raided Al-Arqat village then detained a child.
3. At 21:05, Israeli forces raided Al-Yamoun town and Kafr Dan village.

Israeli forces detained Assad Wael Yahya {16 years old} in Al-Arqat village.

Attack

At 14:30, Israeli forces fired rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents for alleged stoning during their raid into Zubaba village.

At 11:10, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at Bardala village junction then searched residents and vehicles until 14:00.

TULKAREM

Flying Checkpoints

At 20:05, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Far'oun village then searched residents and vehicles.

1. At 18:40, Israeli forces raided Izbit Shufa and Far'oun villages until 00:15.
2. At 22:10, Israeli forces raided Tulkarem city, Anata and Kafr Al-Labbad towns and Kafr Ruman villages.

QALQILIYA

Raid

At 21:20, Israeli forces raided Qalqiliya city.

Physical Assault

At 23:50, Israeli forces positioned near Jit village junction assaulted Muhanad Husam Barghouth {A resident of Baqat Al-Hatab village} and as a result left him hospitalized with contusions.

NABLUS

Flying Checkpoints

1. At 12:10, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at "Shavie Shamron" settlement junction then searched residents and vehicles until 14:00.
2. At 20:05, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at Sara village junction {located along the main road connecting Nablus and Qalqiliya} then searched residents and vehicles.

1. At 20:15, Israeli forces raided Beit Wazzan village until 21:30.
2. At 23:40, Israeli forces raided Al-Masakin Al-Sha'biya area in east Nablus city until 01:30.
3. At 00:30, Israeli forces raided Qussin village until 03:30.
4. At 01:10, Israeli forces raided Azzmout and Deir Al-Hatab villages until 03:30.
5. At dawn on September 25th 2018, Israeli forces raided Osarin village.

SALFIT

At 20:00, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the east entrance of Marda village then searched residents and vehicles.

JERICHO

Flying Checkpoints

At 20:05, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the North entrance of Jericho city then searched residents and vehicles.

BETHLEHEM

Raid

At 03:40, Israeli forces raided Nihalin village, opened random fire then withdrew at 05:00.

Attack

At 03:40, Israeli forces opened random fire during their raid into Nihalin village.

HEBRON

Flying Checkpoints

1. At 19:10, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Al-Fah's area located in south Hebron city then searched residents and vehicles.
2. At 19:15, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at Beit Einoun village junction then searched residents and vehicles.

Raid

1. At 00:30, Israeli forces raided Hebron city until 04:35.
2. At 00:30, Israeli forces raided Al-Samou' town.

GAZA STRIP

ALL DISTRICTS

• Since 19:00 on August 26th 2014, Palestinian Gunmen and the Israeli military agreed to a cease fire agreement (brokered by the Arab Republic of Egypt) which includes the opening of border crossings to allow the entry of emergency supplies and humanitarian goods as well as construction material and agreed to increase the fishing limit to 6 nautical miles with possibility of increase to 12 nautical miles by the end of the year and to decrease the Military area to 100 meters, allow freedom of movement and a halt to targeted killings and assassinations and negotiations will be held for discussion on rebuilding the seaport and airports and on May 4th 2017, Israeli authorities increased the fishing limit to 9 nautical miles from Wadi Gaza until the south border of the Gaza strip and on June 26th 2017 Israeli forces decreased the fishing limit back to 6 nautical miles and on October 17th 2017, Israeli forces increased the fishing limit back to 9 nautical miles and on December 12th 2017 reduced fishing area from 9 nautical miles to 6 nautical miles south of Wadi Gaza and opposite to Rafah and on July 17th 2018, Israeli forces reduced the fishing area from 6 nautical miles to 3 nautical miles, On August 15th 2018, Israeli forces increased the fishing area from 3 nautical miles up to 9 nautical miles from the coast of Al-Badeir area located in Central Gaza up to Rafah district located South of the Gaza strip.

• The Israeli Military broke the ceasefire agreement by opening fire from their positions behind the Green Line towards North Gaza, Gaza, Central Gaza, Khan Yunis and Rafah districts and as a result killed a resident, injured 10 resiednts and left 80 others suffocated from tear gas inhalation.
• Israeli Naval vessels broke the ceasefire agreement by opening fire towards Palestinian fishing boats off the shores of North Gaza district.

NORTHERN GAZA

Closure of Crossing Points

* Beit Hanun (Erez) crossing is closed with the exception for the entry of emergency medical cases.

Attack

1. At 08:00 on September 24th 2018, Israeli forces positioned behind the Green Line opened fire towards several residents near the border fence in east Jabaliya town.
2. At 17:00 on September 24th 2018, Israeli forces positioned behind the Green Line fired live ammunition, rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas canisters towards several demonstrators in North West Beit Lahiya town participating in the right of return march and as a result killed a resident, injured 10 residents and left 80 others suffocated from tear gas inhalation.
3. At 17:00 on September 24th 2018, Israeli Naval vessels fired live ammunition, stun and tear gas canisters toward 20 fishing boats located off the shores of Al-Sudaniya area located in West Beit Lahiya town which were protesting against the Israeli restrictions then were taken to Gaza fishing port at 19:30.

Killings

Israeli forces opened fire towards and killed Mohammad Fayiz Saleem Abu Al-Sadiq { 21 years old}{A resident of Al-Shata' camp in Gaza city} during clashes in North West Beit Lahiya town.

Injuries

Israeli forces injured 10 unidentified residents during clashes in North West Beit Lahiya town.

GAZA

Closure of Crossing Points

* Al-Muntar (Karni) Crossing is closed. Beginning on 02 March 2011, the Crossing has been effectively closed following a unilateral Israeli decision.
* Al-Shija’iya (Nahal ‘Oz) Crossing is closed. Beginning on 04 January 2010, the Crossing has closed following a unilateral Israeli decision.

At 08:00 on September 24th 2018, Israeli forces positioned behind the Green Line opened fire towards several residents near the border fence in east Gaza city.

CENTRAL GAZA

Attack

1. At 09:30 on September 24th 2018, Israeli forces positioned behind the Green Line opened fire towards several residents near the border fence in east Deir Al-Balah city.
2. At 21:00 on September 24th 2018, Israeli forces positioned behind the Green Line fired live ammunition, rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas canisters towards several demonstrators in east Al-Buriej camp participating in the right of return march.

KHAN YUNIS

Attack

1. At 10:30 on September 24th 2018, Israeli forces positioned behind the Green Line opened fire towards several residents located near the border fence in east Khuza'a town located in east Khan Yunis city.
2. At 21:00 on September 24th 2018, Israeli forces positioned behind the Green Line fired live ammunition, rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas canisters towards several demonstrators in east Khuza'a town located in east Khan Yunis city participating in the right of return march.

RAFAH

Closure of Crossing Points

* Yasser ‘Arafat International Airport remains closed.
*Rafah (Al ‘Awdah) Crossing is open for the entry and exit of residents.
* Sufa Crossing is closed.
* Karm Abu Salem (Karem Shalom) Crossing is closed.

Attack

1. At 12:00 on September 24th 2018, Israeli forces positioned behind the Green line opened fire towards several residents located near the border fence in east Rafah city.
2. At 22:00 on September 24th 2018, Israeli forces positioned behind the Green Line fired live ammunition, rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas canisters towards several demonstrators in east Rafah city participating in the right of return march.
