Closure of District

On September 26th 2017, Israeli forces declared the village of Beit Surik, a closed military zone (after the death of a resident after he opened fire towards Israeli soldiers near the entrance to the settlement of "Har Adar", which killed 3 soldiers and wounded a fourth - seriously injured), The main and sub-roads leading to it were closed.

Military Checkpoints

Detention

1. At 15:30, Israeli forces detained Mahdi Ahmad Al-Sayad {A resident of Al-Tur neighborhood in Jerusalem city}.
2. Israeli forces detained 3 residents: Ahmad Fihmi Radar, Midhat Al-Jamal and Abd Mahmoud Al-Jamal in Beit Surik village.

Attack

At 09:00, Israeli forces fired rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas grenades towards several residents for alleged stoning as they stormed and searched several homes during their raid into Biddu town and Beit Surik village.

Obstruction of Places of Worship

At 09:00, a group of Israeli settlers under the protection of Israeli Military and Police officers stormed Al-Aqsa mosque compound and provoked worshipers.

RAMALLAH & AL BIREH

Flying Checkpoints

1. At 08:55, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint near Atara town bridge then searched residents and vehicles.
2. At 18:30, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Al-Nabi Saleh village then searched residents and vehicles until 20:30.
3. At 20:25, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at Al-Taybeh town junction {located along Al-Mu'arajat road which connects Ramallah and Jericho} then searched residents and vehicles.

Raid

1. At 16:00, Israeli forces raided Beit Liqya town until 17:40.
2. At 19:10, Israeli forces raided Deir Nathim village.
3. At 23:50, Israeli forces raided Ni'lin town until 24:00.
4. At 01:00, Israeli forces raided Shuqba village until 03:20.
5. At 04:15, Israeli forces raided Deir Abu Mash'al village.

Detention

At 10:00, Israeli forces positioned at the entrance of "Ofar" Military base detained Tahani Hassan Abdel Hafith Abu Sharifa {A resident of Al-Jalazoun camp}.

JENIN

Raid

1.On the evening of September 26th 2017, Israeli forces raided Ya'bad town and took photographs of several homes.
2. At 05:40, Israeli forces raided Jenin city , Jenin camp and Kafrit and Kafr Qaddur villages , clashed with several residents as they stormed several homes in Jenin camp and detained 4 residents in the camp then withdrew at 07:55.

Detention

Israeli forces detained 4 residents: Ahmad Nidal Al-Sa'di, Lutfi Mahmoud Abu Nasser, Nidal Ameen Hazim and Yazid Nidal Ja'aysa in Jenin camp.

Attack

At 05:40, Israeli forces fired live ammunition, stun and tear gas grenades towards several residents for alleged stoning as they stormed and searched several homes during their raid into Jenin camp.

At 20:25, Israeli forces intensified their restrictions at Tayassir military checkpoint and impeded the free flow of traffic.

1. At 15:30, Israeli forces raided Bardala village located in the North Jordan valley until 16:35.
2. At 19:15, Israeli forces raided Ein Al-Bayda village.
3. At 23:35, Israeli forces raided Al-Far'a camp, detained a resident then withdrew at 05:45.

Detention

Israeli forces detained Ahmad Daraghmeh in Al-Far'a camp.

TULKAREM

Military Checkpoints

At 14:30, Israeli forces intensified their restrictions at "Enav" Military checkpoint and impeded the free flow of traffic.

Raid

1. At 10:00 and again at 17:50, Israeli forces raided Zieta town until 19:00.
2. At 22:05, Israeli forces raided Al-Jaroushiya village until 02:50.
3. At 01:30, Israeli forces raided Tulkarem city, Tulkarem and Ein Al-Shams camps, Anabta town , Kafr Al-Labbad and Far'oun villages then detained 3 residents in Tulkarem camp.

Detention

Israeli forces detained 3 residents: Abdallah Omar Suliman Thiyab {A resident of Tulkarem city}, Omar Soliman Mohammad Thuyab {A resident of Tulkarem city} and Jihad Mohammad Saleem Khroish {A resident of Tulkarem city} in Tulkarem city.

QALQILIYA

Flying Checkpoints

1. At 19:05, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the east entrance of Qalqilya city then searched residents and vehicles.
2. At 06:20, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Sir village then searched residents and vehicles.

At 06:20, Israeli forces raided Jayyous town.

Detention

At 22:40, Israeli forces detained Shadad Hisham Mustafa Odwan {A resident of Azzun town}.

1. At 15:30, Israeli forces intensified their restrictions at Beit Furik Military checkpoint and impeded the free flow of traffic.
2. At 18:40, Israeli forces closed Huwwara military checkpoint and impeded the free flow of traffic until 19:15.

1. At 15:15, Israeli forces raided Sarah village.
2. At 01:00, Israeli forces raided Tel village then withdrew at 04:35.

Detention

Israeli forces detained Mohammad Assad Abdel-Rahman Rihan in Tel village.

Settlers Attacks

At 18:40, Israeli forces positioned near "Yitshar" settlement stoned residents and vehicles passing along the road near the settlement then withdrew at 19:15.

1. At 08:10, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint near Dar Salah village bridge {located at the east entrance of Beit Sahour city} then searched residents and vehicles until 10:30.
2. At 09:00, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the west entrance of Beit Fajjar town then searched residents and vehicles until 10:45.

1. At dawn on September 26th 2017, Israeli forces detained Mahdi Adel Shusha during their raid into Husan village {in addition to those mentioned in the previous report}.
2. Israeli forces detained Jamil Suhier Jameel Hamamra in Husan village.
3. اIsraeli forces detained Rami Omar Hussien Al-Atrash in Al-Duhisheh camp in Bethlehem city.

Attack

At 04:50, Israeli forces fired live ammunition, rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas grenades towards several residents for alleged stoning as they stormed and searched several homes during their raid into Al-Duhisheh camp and as a result injured a resident.

Injuries

Israeli forces injured a unidentified resident during clashes in Al-Duhisheh camp in Bethlehem city.

HEBRON

Flying Checkpoints

1. At 17:30, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at Ithna town junction then searched residents and vehicles.
2. At 17:40, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at Zif village junction then searched residents and vehicles.

1. At 14:00, Israeli forces raided Al-Jawiya village located in south east Yatta town and assaulted 3 residents{including a child}.
2. At 00:40, Israeli forces raided Beit Awwa and Al-Thahriya towns and Deir Sammit village.
3. At 02:20, Israeli forces raided Yatta town and detained 2 residents.
4. At 04:45, Israeli forces raided Al-Majd village.
5. At dawn on September 26th 2017, Israeli forces raided Tarusa village and detained a resident.

Attack

On the evening of September 26th 2017,Israeli forces positioned near Bet Ummar town and in Al-Thaher area located near "Karmi Tsur" settlement fired stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents for alleged stoning and then detained a child.

Detention

1. Israeli forces detained 2 residents: Na'im Musa Abu Rajab and Ayad Mohammad Ismail Abu Hameed in Yatta town.
2. Israeli forces detained Yusef Firas Abu Arqoub in Tarusiya village.
3. Israeli forces detained Billal Abdel-Rahman Ismail Awad {17 years old} during clashes near Beit Ummar town.

Physical Assault

At 14:00, Israeli forces assaulted 3 residents {including a child}: Qusay Ali Al-Shahawien {17 years old}, Ayed Ali Obada Al-Shahawien and Adham Ahmad Al-Shahawien during their raid into Al-Jawiya village located in south east Yatta town.

Settlers Attacks

At 16:15, a Israeli settler driving a vehicle along the main road near the entrance of Al-Arub camp ran over Tamara Nura Khalil Ayash and as a result left her hospitalised.

Injuries

Tamara Nura Khalil Ayash was hospitalised with contusions after she was ran over by a Israeli settler driving a vehicle along the main road near the entrance of Al-Arub camp.

GAZA STRIP

ALL DISTRICTS

• Since 19:00 on August 26th 2014, Palestinian Gunmen and the Israeli military agreed to a cease fire agreement (brokered by the Arab Republic of Egypt) which includes the opening of border crossings to allow the entry of emergency supplies and humanitarian goods as well as construction material and agreed to increase the fishing limit to 6 nautical miles with possibility of increase to 12 nautical miles by the end of the year and to decrease the Military area to 100 meters, allow freedom of movement and a halt to targeted killings and assassinations and negotiations will be held for discussion on rebuilding the seaport and airports and on May 3rd 2017, Israeli authorities increased the fishing limit to 9 nautical miles from Wadi Gaza until the south border of the Gaza strip.
• Israeli Naval vessels broke the ceasefire agreement by openeing fire towards Palestinian fishing boats off the shores of North Gaza district.

NORTHERN GAZA

Closure of Crossing Points

* Beit Hanun (Erez) crossing is partially open for the passage of critical patients, journalists, NGO staff, businesspersons and passengers travelling abroad through Al-Karama crossing with previous coordination.

Attack

At 08:00 on September 25th 2017, Israeli Naval vessels opened fire towards Palestinian fishing boats off the shores of Al-Sudaniya area located in West Beit Lahiya town.

GAZA

Closure of Crossing Points

* Al-Muntar (Karni) Crossing is closed. Beginning on 02 March 2011, the Crossing has been effectively closed following a unilateral Israeli decision.
* Al-Shija’iya (Nahal ‘Oz) Crossing is closed. Beginning on 04 January 2010, the Crossing has closed following a unilateral Israeli decision.

RAFAH

Closure of Crossing Points

* Yasser ‘Arafat International Airport remains closed.
* Rafah (Al ‘Awdah) Crossing is closed.
* Sufa Crossing is closed.
* Karm Abu Salem (Karem Shalom) Crossing is partially open for the entry of goods, fuel, construction material for the private sector and internationally funded projects.
