DAILY SITUATION REPORT

 08:00, 27th September  2020 -08:00, 28th September  2020

WEST BANK

JERUSALEM

Raid

1. At 14:00, the occupation forces raided Al-Zaiem town and conducted a patrol.
2. At 22:30, the occupation forces raided Al-Issawiya village, where clashes took place with the citizens while they were on patrol.

Attack

At 22:30, the occupying forces fired rubber-coated metal bullets, stun grenades and tear gas at the citizens, during their raid into Al-Issawiya village, under the pretext that they were throwing stones while on patrol.

Destruction of Property

At 09:00, the occupation authorities in the city of Jerusalem forced the two brothers: Hassan and Muhammad Musa Jaafra to demolish two (barracks) for raising sheep in the Habl Al Mukaber neighborhood in Jerusalem, under the pretext of not being licensed.

Obstruction of Places of Worship

At 08:00, a group of extremist settlers, under the protection of the occupation police, stormed the courtyards of Al-Aqsa Mosque, and conducted provocative tours in its courtyards and facilities.

RAMALLAH & AL BIREH

Closure of main Roads

At 09:30, the occupation forces closed the iron gate built on the main road passing near the settlement of "Beit El" leading to Jalazoun camp, in front of traffic.

TULKAREM

Military Checkpoints

At 17:25, the occupation forces tightened their procedures at the "Enav" checkpoint, and obstructed traffic.

NABLUS

Flying Checkpoints

At 17:20, the occupation forces set up a checkpoint near the Deir Sharaf village junction (on the main road Nablus - Tulkarm), to search cars and verify citizens' identities.

Settlers Attacks

On 27/09/2020, a guard from the settlement of Yitzhar severely beat the citizen: Usama Ahmed Hamad - resident of Asira al-Qibliya village, while working on his farmland, which led to his bruises, and he was admitted to the hospital for treatment.

SALFIT

Flying Checkpoints

At 14:30, the occupation forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance to the town of Kafeel Haris, to search cars and verify citizens' identities.

BETHLEHEM

Military Checkpoints

At 13:15, the Israeli occupation forces tightened their procedures at the (Container) checkpoint, and obstructed traffic.

Flying Checkpoints

1. At 12:45, the occupation forces set up a checkpoint near the Al-Nashash area junction (the southern entrance to Bethlehem), to search cars and check citizens' identities until 13:30.
2. At 19:50, the occupation forces set up a checkpoint at the western entrance to the town of Tuqu ', to search cars and check citizens' identities until 20:30.

Raid

At 05:40, Israeli forces raided the village of Husan, detained a citizen, and withdrew at 06:00.

Detention

Detained in Husan village is: Muhammad Mahmoud Atteya Shousha.

HEBRON

Flying Checkpoints

At 08:35, the occupation forces set up a checkpoint at the northern entrance to Hebron (branching from the bypass line 35 near the Halhoul town bridge), to search cars and verify citizens' identities.

Obstruction of Places of Worship

At 15:00 on 27/09/2010, the occupying forces closed the Ibrahimi Mosque in the Old City of Hebron, in front of the citizens and prevented them from performing the prayers inside it, under the pretext of enabling the settlers to celebrate and perform Talmudic rituals inside the campus on the occasion of the "Day of Forgiveness" among the Jews.

GAZA STRIP

ALL DISTRICTS

• At 19:00 on 26/08/2014, the permanent and comprehensive ceasefire came into effect with the initiative and patronage of the Arab Republic of Egypt, after reaching understandings to open the crossings, the introduction of humanitarian and relief aid and reconstruction requirements, and expanding the fishing area to a distance of 6 miles with the increase in distance Up to 12 miles by the end of this year, reducing the "security buffer" zone from 300 meters to 100 meters, freedom of movement and preventing assassinations. Other issues, including the airport and the port, will be negotiated within a month of the ceasefire.

• On the morning of June 28, 2019, the occupation forces allowed the expansion of the fishing distance from opposite the Al-Waha area northwest of the town of Beit Lahiya in the northern Gaza governorate and up to the Gaza port by a distance of 6 nautical miles, and from opposite the Gaza port to the south of the coast of Rafah to 15 nautical miles.
• On 01/09/2020, the occupation forces re-expanded the fishing distance from the front of the Al-Waha area northwest of the town of Beit Lahia in the northern Gaza governorate and up to the Gaza port by a distance of 6 nautical miles, and from opposite the Gaza port to the south of the coast of Rafah to 15 nautical miles. After it imposed on 08/16/2020 a complete closure on the maritime domain in front of the fishermen's boats in front of the Gaza Strip.
• The occupation forces violated the ceasefire, by firing from their positions on the Green Line in the North and Central Gaza governorates.

NORTHERN GAZA

Closure of Crossing Points

* Beit Hanoun Crossing - "Erez": On 09/27/2020, is closed (except for the passage of emergency humanitarian cases).

Attack

At 08:15 on 09/27/2020, the occupation forces fired from their positions on the Green Line, towards agricultural lands east of Beit Hanoun town.

GAZA

Closure of Crossing Points

* Al-Muntar-Karni crossing: closed since 02/03/2011, permanently and by a unilateral Israeli decision.
* The Shejaiya Crossing - “Nahal Oz” for fuel: closed on 01/04/2010 by an Israeli unilateral decision.

CENTRAL GAZA

Attack

At 15:45 on 09/27/2020, the occupation forces fired from their positions on the Green Line, towards agricultural lands east of Maghazi camp.

RAFAH

Closure of Crossing Points

* Yasser Arafat International Airport: closed.
* Sufa Crossing: closed.
* Kerem Shalom Crossing - “Kerem Shalom”: 27/09/2020, partially open, partially open (for the entry of foodstuffs, goods, building materials, and limited quantities of fuel).
* Al-Awda - Rafah crossing: on 27. 09. 2020 is open in both directions (for the entry and departure of citizens).
