WEST BANK

ALL DISTRICTS

Closure

At 24:00 on September 28th 2017, The Israeli forces imposed a complete closure on the West Bank governorates for the Jewish Holiday "Yom Kippur - Kibor" and prevented citizens and workers, including permit holders from entering Jerusalem and Israel, except diplomatic and international missions, humanitarian and medical emergencies until 24:00 on September 30th 2017.

JERUSALEM

Closure (per District)

Since September 26th 2017, Israeli forces declared the village of Beit Surik, a closed military zone (after the death of a resident after he opened fire towards Israeli soldiers near the entrance to the settlement of "Har Adar", which killed 3 soldiers and wounded a fourth - seriously injured), The main and sub-roads leading to it were closed.

Raid

1. At dawn on September 28th 2017 and again at 01:30, Israeli forces raided Beit Anan town , detained a resident and clashed with several residents.
2. At 08:00 on September 28th 2017, Israeli forces raided Abu Dis town and clashed with several school children.
3. At 18:15 and again at 21:45, Israeli forces raided Biddu town, detained 3 resiednts {including 2 children}, clashed with several residents then withdrew at 01:25.
4. At 19:00, Israeli forces raided Al-Eisawiya village.

Detention

1. At dawn on September 28th 2017, Israeli forces detained 4 residents: Mohammad Al-Shubaki, Hamza Tabakhi, Tamer Al-Ju'ba and Hamoudah Aliyan in Al-Thuri neighborhood in Jerusalem city.
2. On September 28th 2017, Israeli forces positioned at Qalandiya mIlitary checkpoint detained Wurood Khali Abdallah {A resident of Al-Bireh city located in Ramallah & Al-Bireh District}.
3. Israeli forces detained Kareem Hatem Abdel-Kareem Rabi' in Beit Anan town.
4. Israeli forces detained 3 residents: Hamadah Jamal Eid {16 years old}, Waleed Riyad Ahmad Al-Dali {16 years old} and Marwan Mohammad Al-Shiekh in Biddu town.

Injuries

At 11:00 on September 27th 2017, Nimer Nasser Mahmoud Al-Khadour {A resident of Biddu town} was injured during clashes in Biddu town {in addition to those mentioned in the previous report}.

Deportation

On September 28th 2017, Israeli forces in Jerusalem city served military orders to Khadija Ahmad Khawis and Hanadi Mohammad Al-Halawani preventing them from entering Al-Aqsa mosque compound of a period of 1 month, ordered them to 14 days home imprisonment and prevented them from travelling to areas in the west bank for a period of 180 days as terms for their release from Israeli prisons after being detained.

Attack

1. At 08:00 on September 28th 2017, Israeli forces fired rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas grenades towards several school children for alleged stoning during their raid into Abu Dis town.
2. At 21:45, Israeli forces fired rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas grenades towards several residents for alleged stoning during their raid into Biddu town.
3. At 01:30, Israeli forces fired stun and tear gas grenades towards several residents for alleged stoning during their raid into Beit Annan town.

Closure of main Roads

Since September 27th 2017, Israeli forces closed the main gate entrance leading to the tunnel road connecting the towns and villages in North Jerusalem district {totaling 16 towns and villages} with Ramallah and Al-Bireh districts And the dirt road between the town of Bidu and the village of Beit Duqu, and the western valley road between the town of Bidu and the town of Beit Anan and the villages of Kobiba and Beit Dko, and the road between the towns of Beit Anan and Beit Liqya

Obstruction of Places of Worship

At 10:00, a group of Israeli settlers under the protection of Israeli Military and Police officers stormed Al-Aqsa mosque compound and provoked worshipers.

RAMALLAH & AL BIREH

Raid

1. At 01:40, Israeli forces raided Ni'lin town until 02:00.
2. At dawn on September 29th 2017, Israeli forces raided Silwad town and detained 2 residents.

Detention

Israeli forces detained Musa Mohammad Hamdan and Imad Musa Hamdan in Silwad town.

JENIN

Flying Checkpoints

At 10:45, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint near Al-Hafriya village junction then searched resiednts and vehicles.

Raid

At 19:10, Israeli forces raided Ya'bad town, clashed with several residents as they stormed and searched several homes, detained 13 residents then withdrew at 06:20.

Detention

Israeli forces detained 13 residents:Malik Farouk Harzallah, Arafat Husni Amr, Tahir Jawad Badarneh, Jihad Abu Shamla, Ezz Farouk Harzallah, Noor Atatra, Nazra Atatra, Saed Atatra, Mahmoud Nazzal Atatra, Mutaz Abu Bakr, Mahmoud Abdel Karim Taher, Ashraf Mohammed Abu Bakr and Nidal Yaqub Anfiat in Ya'bad town.

Attack

At 19:10, Israeli forces fired stun and tear gas grenades towards several residents for alleged stoning as they stormed and searched several residents for alleged stoning as they stormed and searched several homes during their raid into Ya'bad town.

TULKAREM

Raid

At 00:20, Israeli forces raided Tulkarem city, stormed and searched a home then withdrew at 04:30.

Closure of main Roads

At 12:30, Israeli forces closed an agricultural road located between Kafr Al-Labbad and agricultural land in Shufat village with dirt mounds.

QALQILIYA

Raid

At 19:05, Israeli forces raided Jayyous town and clashed with several residents then withdrew at 21:10.

Attack

At 19:05, Israeli forces raided Jayyous town, fired stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents for alleged stoning during their raid into Jayyous town.

NABLUS

Military Checkpoints

At 20:15, Israeli forces intensified their restrictions at Beit Furiq Military checkpoint and impeded the free flow of traffic.

Raid

At 18:20, Israeli forces raided Burqa village.

Confiscation of Property

At 18:50, Israeli forces confiscated a bulldozers owned by Husni Hamadna as he was working on agricultural land.

SALFIT

Flying Checkpoints

At 08:55, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Deir Ballout town then searched residents and vehicles.

BETHLEHEM

Flying Checkpoints

At 08:30, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the west entrance of Beit Fajjar town then searched residents and vehicles.

Raid

1. At 08:10, Israeli forces raided Al-Khader town until 09:20.
2. At 09:00, Israeli forces raided Al-Ubeidiya town, stormed and searched 3 homes then withdrew at 11:40.
3. At 03:10, Israeli forces raided Beit Fajjar town , detained 2 residents then withdrew at 04:45.
4. At 03:10, Israeli forces raided Ayda camp in Bethlehem city , detained a child then withdrew at 03:20.

Detention

1. At 12:30, Israeli forces detained 2 residents: Amran Hussien Al-Atrash and Mohammad Amran Al-Atrash {Both are residents of Al-Duhisheh camp in Bethlehem city} as they were reporting to Israeli Intellegnce for questioning based on a prior summon.
2. Israeli forces detained 2 residents: Eyad Mahmoud Taqatqa and Wajdi Mahmoud Jamal Bilo in Beit Fajjar town.
3. Israeli forces detained Mustafa Saleem Abu Aker {17 years old} in Ayda camp in Bethlehem city.

HEBRON

Flying Checkpoints

At 16:40, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at Al-Samiya village junction {located at Al-Samou' town} and detained 2 residents.

Raid

1. At 11:15, Israeli forces raided Al-Thahriya town and stormed a home.
2. At 03:45, Israeli forces raided Hebron city, stormed and searched several home using Police attack dogs, detained 3 residents and injured Intisar Abdel-Latif Al-Qawasmi after the Israeli Police dogs attacked her in her home then withdrew at 05:30.
3. At dawn on September 29th 2017, Israeli forces raided Al-Shiyoukh town summoned Qassam Musa Halayqa and Majd Musa Halayqa trro report to Israeli Intelligence for questioning.

Detention

1. Israeli forces positioned at a flying checkpoint located at Al-Samiya village junction {located at the entrance of Al-Samou' town}: detained Kareem Mughanam and Ibrahim Ali Nassar Abu Aqeel.
2. Israeli forces detained 3 residents: Alaa Tariq Abu Rajab, Hafith Nidal Nasereldin and Husam Musa Abu Shikhidum in Hebron city.

Attack

1. At 18:30, Israeli forces positioned near the entrance of Al-Arrub camp fired stun and tear gas grenades towards several residents for alleged stoning.
2. On the evening of September 28th 2017, Israeli forces positioned in Al-Thaher area located in Beit Ummar town which is located near "Karmi Tsur" settlement fired rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas grenades towards several residents for alleged stoning and as a result injured 2 residents and left several others suffocated from tear gas inhalation.

Injuries

Israeli forces injured 2 unidentified residents: during clashes in Al-Thaher area located in Beit Ummar town which is located near "Karmi Tsur" settlement.

Physical Assault

At 03:45, Israeli forces unleashed Police dogs and assaulted Intisar Abdel-Latif Al-Qawasmi as they stormed and searched her home in Hebron city.

GAZA STRIP

ALL DISTRICTS

• Since 19:00 on August 26th 2014, Palestinian Gunmen and the Israeli military agreed to a cease fire agreement (brokered by the Arab Republic of Egypt) which includes the opening of border crossings to allow the entry of emergency supplies and humanitarian goods as well as construction material and agreed to increase the fishing limit to 6 nautical miles with possibility of increase to 12 nautical miles by the end of the year and to decrease the Military area to 100 meters, allow freedom of movement and a halt to targeted killings and assassinations and negotiations will be held for discussion on rebuilding the seaport and airports and on May 3rd 2017, Israeli authorities increased the fishing limit to 9 nautical miles from Wadi Gaza until the south border of the Gaza strip.

NORTHERN GAZA

Closure of Crossing Points

* Beit Hanun (Erez) crossing is partially open for the passage of critical patients, journalists, NGO staff, businesspersons and passengers travelling abroad through Al-Karama crossing with previous coordination.

GAZA

Closure of Crossing Points

* Al-Muntar (Karni) Crossing is closed. Beginning on 02 March 2011, the Crossing has been effectively closed following a unilateral Israeli decision.
* Al-Shija’iya (Nahal ‘Oz) Crossing is closed. Beginning on 04 January 2010, the Crossing has closed following a unilateral Israeli decision.

RAFAH

Closure of Crossing Points

* Yasser ‘Arafat International Airport remains closed.
* Rafah (Al ‘Awdah) Crossing is closed.
* Sufa Crossing is closed.
* Karm Abu Salem (Karem Shalom) Crossing is partially open for the entry of goods, fuel, construction material for the private sector and internationally funded projects.
