WEST BANK

ALL DISTRICTS

Closure

At 24:00 on September 28th 20118, The Israeli forces imposed a total closure on the West Bank governorates on the occasion of the Jewish "Sikkut" holiday and prevented citizens and workers, including permit holders, from entering Jerusalem and Israel, except for humanitarian cases, after prior coordination until 24:00 on October 1st 2018.

JERUSALEM

Raid

At 20:30, Israeli forces raided Al-Eizariya town and clashed with several residents.

Attack

At 20:30, Israeli forces fired stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents for alleged stoning during their raid into Al-Eizariya town.

Closure of main Roads

On the morning of September 28th 2018, the Israeli military closed the main road leading to Al-Khan Al-Ahmar area and impeded the free flow of traffic.

RAMALLAH & AL BIREH

Military Checkpoints

On the evening of September 28th 2018, Israeli forces closed Al-Mahkama military checkpoint which is located near "Bet El" settlement in North Al-Bireh city {after an alleged shooting incident near the checkpoint} then reopened it at a later time.

Flying Checkpoints

1. At 21:50, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint in the area between Surda and Al-Jalazoun camp then searched residents and vehicles.
2. At 22:45, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Al-Jalazoun camp then searched residents and vehicles.

Raid

On the evening of September 28th 2018, Israeli forces raided Al-Nabi Saleh village, clashed with several residents {as they were distributing leaflets warning residents against continued stone throwing towards Israeli Military vehicles} and temporarily detained 3 children then released them at a later time.

Temporary Detention

On the evening of September 28th 2018, Israeli forces temporarily detained 3 children: Mohammad Abdel-Latif Al-Tamimi {13 years old}, Samer Billal Al-Tamimi {11 years old} and Ahmad Mohammad Hamdan {12 years old} during their raid into Al-Nabi Saleh village.

Attack

1. At 13:00, Israeli forces positioned in Jabal Al-Risan area in Ras Kar Kar village fired stun and tear gas canisters towards several demonstrators as they were protesting against land confiscation and settler violence for alleged stoning.
2. At 13:15, Israeli forces positioned in Bil'in village fired stun and tear gas canisters towards demonstrators as they were protesting against land confiscation and settler violence for alleged stoning.
3.At 13:20, Israeli forces positioned in Nil'in village fired stun and tear gas canisters towards demonstrators as they were protesting against land confiscation and settler violence for alleged stoning.

2. At 17:30, Israeli forces positioned near "Ayal" crossing point located in North Qalqiliya city fired stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents for alleged stoning and detained a resident.

Detention

1. At 07:00 on September 28th 2018, Israeli forces positioned at "Ayal" crossing point located in North Qalqiliya city detained 3 children: Obeida Saber Fayoumi {17 years old}, Mohammad Billal Hajjar {17 years old} and Ahmad Mu'tasim Qashou' {17 years old} {All are residents of Qalqiliya city}.
2. Israeli forces detained Baker Mahmoud Shalbi {A resident of Qalqiliya city} at "Ayal" crossing point located in North Qalqiliya city

NABLUS

Flying Checkpoints

At 18:30, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint near the entrance of Deir Sharaf village then searched residents and vehicles.

Raid

At 14:35, Israeli forces raided Nablus city, detained 2 residents then withdrew at 15:05.

Detention

Israeli forces detained 2 residents: Issa, Billal Issa and Ahmad Ibrahim Hashash in Nablus city.

SALFIT

Flying Checkpoints

At 17:30, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Kafil Harris town then searched residents and vehicles.

JERICHO

Attack

At 15:25, Israeli forces positioned near the south entrance of Jericho city fired stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents for alleged stoning.

BETHLEHEM

Flying Checkpoints

At 21:50 and again at 02:15, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Beit Jalah city then searched residents and vehicles until 03:30.

Raid

At 15:45, Israeli forces raided Nihalin village, clashed with several residents then withdrew at 16:20.

Attack

At 15:45, Israeli forces fired stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents for alleged stoning during their raid into Nihalin village.

HEBRON

Flying Checkpoints

1. At 11:35, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Al-Thahriya town then searched residents and vehicles.
2. At 15:40, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Ithna town then searched residents and vehicles.

GAZA STRIP

ALL DISTRICTS

• Since 19:00 on August 26th 2014, Palestinian Gunmen and the Israeli military agreed to a cease fire agreement (brokered by the Arab Republic of Egypt) which includes the opening of border crossings to allow the entry of emergency supplies and humanitarian goods as well as construction material and agreed to increase the fishing limit to 6 nautical miles with possibility of increase to 12 nautical miles by the end of the year and to decrease the Military area to 100 meters, allow freedom of movement and a halt to targeted killings and assassinations and negotiations will be held for discussion on rebuilding the seaport and airports and on May 4th 2017, Israeli authorities increased the fishing limit to 9 nautical miles from Wadi Gaza until the south border of the Gaza strip and on June 26th 2017 Israeli forces decreased the fishing limit back to 6 nautical miles and on October 17th 2017, Israeli forces increased the fishing limit back to 9 nautical miles and on December 12th 2017 reduced fishing area from 9 nautical miles to 6 nautical miles south of Wadi Gaza and opposite to Rafah and on July 17th 2018, Israeli forces reduced the fishing area from 6 nautical miles to 3 nautical miles, On August 15th 2018, Israeli forces increased the fishing area from 3 nautical miles up to 9 nautical miles from the coast of Al-Badeir area located in Central Gaza up to Rafah district located South of the Gaza strip.

• The Israeli Military broke the ceasefire agreement by opening fire from their positions behind the Green Line towards North Gaza, Gaza, Central Gaza, Khan Yunis and Rafah districts and as a result killed 7 residents {including 2 children} injured 90 residents {including a Paramedic and 4 journalists} and left 416 other suffocated from tear gas inhalation.
• Israeli Naval vessels broke the ceasefire agreement by opening fire towards Palestinian fishing boats off the shores of Gaza district.
• Israeli Military aircraft broke the ceasefire agreement by launching 2 missiles {in 2 consecutive strikes} towards Gaza district.

NORTHERN GAZA

Closure of Crossing Points

* Beit Hanun (Erez) crossing is closed {with the exception of emergency medical cases}.

Attack

1. At 09:10 on September 28th 2018,Naval vessels opened fire towards Palestinian fishing boats off the shores of Al-Waha area located in North West Beit Lahiya town.
2. At 13:00 on September 28th 2018, Israeli forces positioned behind the Green Line opened fire towards agricultural land in North Beit Lahiya town.
3. At 15:30 on September 28th 2018, Israeli forces positioned behind the Green Line fired live ammunition, rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas canisters towards several demonstrators near east Jabaliya town during the march of return and as a result injured 19 residents and left 70 other suffocated from tear gas inhalation.

Injuries

Israeli forces injured 19 unidentified residents during clashes in east Jabaliya town.

GAZA

Closure of Crossing Points

* Al-Muntar (Karni) Crossing is closed. Beginning on 02 March 2011, the Crossing has been effectively closed following a unilateral Israeli decision.
* Al-Shija’iya (Nahal ‘Oz) Crossing is closed. Beginning on 04 January 2010, the Crossing has closed following a unilateral Israeli decision.

At 15:00 on September 28th 2018, Israeli forces positioned behind the Green Line fired live ammunition, rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas canisters towards several demonstrators in east Gaza city participating in the right of return march and as a result killed 3 residents, injured 41 residents {including 4 journalists} and left 155 other suffocated from tear gas inhalation.

Air Strike

1. At 17:45 on September 28th 2018, Israeli military aircraft's launched a missile towards Palestinian gunmen sites in east Gaza city.
2. At 18:20 on September 28th 2018, Israeli military aircraft's launched a missile towards Palestinian gunmen sites in east Gaza city.

Killings

Israeli forces killed 3 residents: Eyad Khalil Ahmad Al-Sha'er {18 years old}{A resident of Gaza city}, Mohammad Waleed Mustafa Haniya {23 years old}{A resident of Gaza city} and Mohammad Bassam Mohammad Sha'khsat {24 years old}{A resident of Gaza city} during clashes in east Gaza city.

Injuries

Israeli forces injured 41 unidentified residents {including 4 Journalists}: Mu'in Tayseer Ahmad Al-Dabat , Mahmoud Suliman Baroud, Amjad Jaradat and Mohammad Abu Qaddus during clashes in east Gaza city.

CENTRAL GAZA

Attack

At 15:00 on September 28th 2018, Israeli forces positioned behind the Green Line fired live ammunition, rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas canisters towards several demonstrators in east Al-Buriej camp participating in the right of return march and as a result killed 2 residents {including a child}, injured 8 residents and left 54 other suffocated from tear gas inhalation.

Killings

Israeli forces killed 2 residents: Mohammad Nayef Yusef Al-Hawam {14 years old}{A resident of Al-Buriej camp} and Mohammad Ashraf Mohammad Al-Awawadat {25 years old}{A resident of Wadi Gaza} during clashes in east Al-Buriej camp.

Injuries

Israeli forces injured 8 unidentified residents during clashes in east Al-Buriej camp.

KHAN YUNIS

Attack

1. At 09:30 on September 28th 2018, Israeli forces positioned behind the Green Line opened fire towards agricultural land in east Khan Yunis city.
2. At 15:30 on September 28th 2018, Israeli forces positioned behind the Green Line fired live ammunition, rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas canisters towards several demonstrators in east Khuza'a town located in east Khan Yunis city participating in the right of return march and as a result killed 2 residents {including a child}, injured 13 residents and left 102 other suffocated from tear gas inhalation.

Killings

Israeli forces killed 2 residents: Nasser Azmi Mohammad Musbah {13 years old}{A resident of Abbassan Al-Kabirah town} and Mohammad Ali Mohammad Anshasi {18 years old}{A resident of Khan Yunis city} during clashes in east Khuza'a town located in east Khan Yunis city.

Injuries

Israeli forces injured 13 unidentified residents including a Paramedic: Mohammad Fareed Hassan Al-Amour during clashes in east during clashes in east Khuza'a town located in east Khan Yunis city.

RAFAH

At 16:00 on September 28th 2018, Israeli forces positioned behind the Green Line fired live ammunition, rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas canisters towards several demonstrators in east Rafah city participating in the right of return march and as a result injured 9 residents and left 35 other suffocated from tear gas inhalation.

Israeli forces injured 9 unidentified residents after opening fire towards demonstrators in east Rafah city.
