WEST BANK

ALL DISTRICTS

Closure

Since 24:00 on September 28th 20118, The Israeli forces imposed a total closure on the West Bank governorates on the occasion of the Jewish "Sikkut" holiday and prevented citizens and workers, including permit holders, from entering Jerusalem and Israel, except for humanitarian cases, after prior coordination until 24:00 on October 1st 2018.

JERUSALEM

Flying Checkpoints

1. At 08:00, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of a tunnel leading to Biddu town then searched residents and vehicles.
2. At 10:00, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Al-Ram town then searched residents and vehicles until 12:00.

Attack

At 17:00, Israeli forces positioned in Ras Kabsa area located in Al-Eizariya town fired stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents for alleged stoning.

RAMALLAH & AL BIREH

Flying Checkpoints

1. At 09:45, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint near "Halmish" settlement junction then searched residents and vehicles.
2. At 11:15, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at Ein Sinya village then searched residents and vehicles until 13:00.
3. At 19:40, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Ni'lin town then searched residents and vehicles.
4. At 19:45, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Al-Nabi Saleh village then searched residents and vehicles.

JENIN

Raid

1. At 01:40, Israeli forces raided Bruwin town, detained a resident then withdrew at 04:20.
2. At dawn on September 30th 2018, Israeli forces raided Jenin camp and detained a resident.

Detention

1. Israeli forces detained Mohammad Nidal Shalamish in Bruqin town.
2. Israeli forces detained Mohammad Al-Buhat in Jenin camp.

TULKAREM

Military Checkpoints

At 22:00, Israeli forces intensified their restrictions at "Enav" military checkpoint and impeded the free flow of traffic until 23:20.

Flying Checkpoints

At 20:50, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at Shufat village junction then searched residents and vehicles.

QALQILIYA

Flying Checkpoints

At 19:20, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Azzun town then searched residents and vehicles.

NABLUS

Flying Checkpoints

At 11:10, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint near "Shavie Shamron" settlement then searched residents and vehicles.

Raid

At dawn on September 30th 2018, Israeli forces raided Madma village.

SALFIT

Raid

At 01:30, Israeli forces raided Salfit city, stormed and searched several homes and summoned 4 residents :Samir Ahed Zahd, Muslim Abdel Razek Matar, Nidal Ezzeddine Fattash, and Mohamed Omar Abdel Razzaq Matar to report to Israeli Intelligence for questioning then withdrew at 05:20

JERICHO

Flying Checkpoints

1. At 18:00, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint along the main road in Al-Oja village then searched residents and vehicles until 19:00
2. At 20:45, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the North entrance of Jericho city then searched residents and vehicles until 22:05.

BETHLEHEM

Flying Checkpoints

1. At 12:00, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint beneath Al-Khader town bridge then searched residents and vehicles until 13:00.
2. At 19:30, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint near Al-Nashash area junction {located at the south entrance of Bethlehem city} then searched residents and vehicles until 21:40.
3. At 19:45, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Aqbat Hasna area {located along the main road leading to the west villages in Bethlehem district} then searched residents and vehicles until 20:55.
4. At 20:30, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the North entrance of Teqou' town then searched residents and vehicles until 20:55.
5. At 23:40, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Beit Jalla city then searched residents and vehicles until 01:15.
6. At 23:55, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint in Al-Makhrour area located near Beit Jalla city then searched residents and vehicles until 01:15.

Raid

At 03:15, Israeli forces raided Nihalin town, clashed with several residents as they stormed and searched several homes and as a result injured a resident, detained 2 children then withdrew at 07:40.

Detention

Israeli forces detained 2 children: Ali Khailed Fadil Najajra {15 years old} and Sayef Al-Din Ahmad Abed Najjajra {16 years old} in Nihalin town.

Attack

At 03:15, Israeli forces fired live ammunition, rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents for alleged stoning as they stormed and searched several homes during their raid into Nihalin town and as a result injured a resident.

Injuries

Israeli forces injured Nour Al-Din Mohammad Izzat Shakarna during clashes in Nihalin town.

HEBRON

Flying Checkpoints

1. At 14:10, Israeli forces set up 3 checkpoints at the entrances of Beit Ummar, Sair and Beit Awwa towns then searched residents and vehicles.
2. At 16:15, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint along bypass road 35 which leads to Tarqumiya crossing then searched residents and vehicles.

Raid

1. At dawn on September 29th 2018, Israeli forces raided Hebron city and detained a resident.
2. At 05:00, Israeli forces raided Halhul town and detained 3 residents.

Detention

1. At 19:10, Israeli forces positioned at Bab Al-Zawiya area located in Hebron city detained Bassam Nu'man Abido.
2. Israeli forces detained Ismail Mohammad Attiya Bannat in Hebron city.
3. Israeli forces detained 3 residents: Uday Hassan Atta Zamar'a, Ahmad Issa Zamar'a and Baha Issa Zamar'a in Halhul town.

GAZA STRIP

ALL DISTRICTS

• Since 19:00 on August 26th 2014, Palestinian Gunmen and the Israeli military agreed to a cease fire agreement (brokered by the Arab Republic of Egypt) which includes the opening of border crossings to allow the entry of emergency supplies and humanitarian goods as well as construction material and agreed to increase the fishing limit to 6 nautical miles with possibility of increase to 12 nautical miles by the end of the year and to decrease the Military area to 100 meters, allow freedom of movement and a halt to targeted killings and assassinations and negotiations will be held for discussion on rebuilding the seaport and airports and on May 4th 2017, Israeli authorities increased the fishing limit to 9 nautical miles from Wadi Gaza until the south border of the Gaza strip and on June 26th 2017 Israeli forces decreased the fishing limit back to 6 nautical miles and on October 17th 2017, Israeli forces increased the fishing limit back to 9 nautical miles and on December 12th 2017 reduced fishing area from 9 nautical miles to 6 nautical miles south of Wadi Gaza and opposite to Rafah and on July 17th 2018, Israeli forces reduced the fishing area from 6 nautical miles to 3 nautical miles, On August 15th 2018, Israeli forces increased the fishing area from 3 nautical miles up to 9 nautical miles from the coast of Al-Badeir area located in Central Gaza up to Rafah district located South of the Gaza strip.

• The Israeli Military broke the ceasefire agreement by opening fire from their positions behind the Green Line towards North Gaza, Gaza, Central Gaza and Rafah districts.

NORTHERN GAZA

Closure of Crossing Points

* Beit Hanun (Erez) crossing is closed.

Attack

1. At 11:00 on September 29th 2018,Israeli forces positioned behind the Green Line opened fire towards several residents positioned near the boarder fence in west Beit Lahiya town.
2. At 21:00 on September 29th 2018, Israeli forces positioned behind the Green Line fired live ammunition, rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas canisters towards several demonstrators near east Jabaliya town during the march of return.

GAZA

Closure of Crossing Points

* Al-Muntar (Karni) Crossing is closed. Beginning on 02 March 2011, the Crossing has been effectively closed following a unilateral Israeli decision.
* Al-Shija’iya (Nahal ‘Oz) Crossing is closed. Beginning on 04 January 2010, the Crossing has closed following a unilateral Israeli decision.

Attack

At 09:30 on September 29th 2018, Israeli forces positioned behind the Green Line opened fire towards agricultural land in east Gaza city.

CENTRAL GAZA

Attack

At 22:00 on September 29th 2018, Israeli forces positioned behind the Green Line fired live ammunition, rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas canisters towards several demonstrators in east Al-Buriej camp participating in the right of return march.

RAFAH

Closure of Crossing Points

* Yasser ‘Arafat International Airport remains closed.
*Rafah (Al ‘Awdah) Crossing is closed.
* Sufa Crossing is closed.
* Karm Abu Salem (Karem Shalom) Crossing is closed.

Attack

At 21:00 on September 29th 2018, Israeli forces positioned behind the Green Line fired live ammunition, rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas canisters towards several demonstrators in east Rafah city participating in the right of return march.
