WEST BANK

JERUSALEM

Deportation

On September 6th 2018, Israeli courts in Jerusalem city issued orders banning 5 residents: Majdi Al-Abbassi, Alaa Abu Taya, Ali Abu Diyab, Uday Ghayth and Mohammad Ghayth {all residents of Silwan neighborhood in Jerusalem city} from entering Al-Aqsa mosque compound in the old city of Jerusalem for a period of 30 days and imposed a financial penalty of 1000 NIS for each as a condition for their release after being detained at an earlier time.

Obstruction of Places of Worship

At 09:30, Israeli settlers under the protection of Israeli Military and Police officers stormed Al-Aqsa mosque compound and provoked worshipers.

RAMALLAH & AL BIREH

Flying Checkpoints

1. At 11:30, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint near Atarah town bridge, detained a resident then withdrew at 12:30.
2. At 18:15, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Abboud town then searched residents and vehicles until 19:00.
3. At 18:45, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Al-Nabi Saleh village then searched residents and vehicles until 19:30.

Detention

Israeli forces positioned at a flying checkpoint near the entrance of Atarah town bridge detained Bara' Abd Ismail Al-Barghouthi.

TULKAREM

Military Checkpoints

1. At 21:30, the Israeli Military intensified their restrictions at "Enav"military checkpoint and impeded the free flow of traffic.
2. At 22:55, Israeli forces intensified their restrictions at Shufa military checkpoint and impeded the free flow of traffic.

Raid

At 01:10,Israeli forces raided Tulkarem city until 05:00.

QALQILIYA

Flying Checkpoints

1. At 16:00, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the east entrance of Qalqiliya city then searched residents and vehicles.
2. At 19:45, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Azzun town then searched residents and vehicles.

NABLUS

Detention

At 19:35, Israeli forces positioned near "Bargha" settlement junction located in south Kafr Qalil village detained 3 residents: Mahmoud Sa'id Ibrahim Al-Hindi, Jihad Hassan Al-Hindi and Mahmoud Hassan Al-Hindi {All residents of Tel village}.

SALFIT

Flying Checkpoints

At 07:30 on September 7th 2018, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the west entrance of Deir Istiya town then searched residents and vehicles.

Land Levelling

On the morning of September 6th 2018, Israeli forces positioned near the entrance of Deir Istiya town leveled a plot of land approximately 600 m2 owned by Ibrahim Abu Zied which he planned on constructing merchant shops which he applied to obtain necessary permits from the Israeli's through the Palestinian Military Coordination.

JERICHO

Flying Checkpoints

At 11:20, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint along road (90){near Ni'ami settlement} then searched residents and vehicles until 12:15.

BETHLEHEM

Military Checkpoints

At 16:30, the Israeli Military Intensified their restrictions at "Al-Container" military checkpoint and impeded the free flow of traffic until 17:00.

Flying Checkpoints

1. At 10:25, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint near Dar Salah village {located at the east entrance of Beit Sahur city} then searched residents and vehicles until 12:45.
2. At 16:25, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint near Al-Nashash area junction {located at the south entrance of Bethlehem city} then searched residents and vehicles.
3. At 17:00, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint beneath Al-Khadr town bridge {located along the main road leading to the west villages of Bethlehem district} then searched residents and vehicles.

Detention

At 20:40, Israeli forces detained Mu'taz Mohammad Attiya Abu Bakr {A resident of Ayda camp in Bethlehem city} as he was reporting to Israeli Intelligence for questioning based on a prior summon.

HEBRON

Flying Checkpoints

At 18:10, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Al-Fuwar camp then searched residents and vehicles.

Raid

1. At 12:55, Israeli forces raided Tarqumiya town and detained a resident.
2. At 01:25, Israeli forces raided Hebron city and detained a resident.

Detention

1. At dawn on September 6th 2018, Israeli forces positioned at "Kafr Itsiyon" settlement junction detained Raed Mahmoud Fayad Al-Teti {A resident of Al-Fuwar camp}.
2. Israeli forces detained Sadiq Mohammad Gharib in Tarqumiya town.
3. Israeli fores detained Qassim Hijazi Subhi Ali Salem in Hebron city.

GAZA STRIP

ALL DISTRICTS

• Since 19:00 on August 26th 2014, Palestinian Gunmen and the Israeli military agreed to a cease fire agreement (brokered by the Arab Republic of Egypt) which includes the opening of border crossings to allow the entry of emergency supplies and humanitarian goods as well as construction material and agreed to increase the fishing limit to 6 nautical miles with possibility of increase to 12 nautical miles by the end of the year and to decrease the Military area to 100 meters, allow freedom of movement and a halt to targeted killings and assassinations and negotiations will be held for discussion on rebuilding the seaport and airports and on May 4th 2017, Israeli authorities increased the fishing limit to 9 nautical miles from Wadi Gaza until the south border of the Gaza strip and on June 26th 2017 Israeli forces decreased the fishing limit back to 6 nautical miles and on October 17th 2017, Israeli forces increased the fishing limit back to 9 nautical miles and on December 12th 2017 reduced fishing area from 9 nautical miles to 6 nautical miles south of Wadi Gaza and opposite to Rafah and on July 17th 2018, Israeli forces reduced the fishing area from 6 nautical miles to 3 nautical miles, On August 15th 2018, Israeli forces increased the fishing area from 3 nautical miles up to 9 nautical miles from the coast of Al-Badeir area located in Central Gaza up to Rafah district located South of the Gaza strip.

• The Israeli Military broke the ceasefire agreement by opening fire from their positions behind the Green Line towards Gaza and Khan Yunis district.
• Israeli Naval vessels broke the ceasefire agreement by opening fire towards Palestinian fishing boats off the shores of North Gaza and Rafah districts.
• A resident died of serious injuries sustained after Israeli forces opened fire towards demonstrators in east Jabaliya town in North Gaza district on July 13th 2018.

NORTHERN GAZA

Closure of Crossing Points

* Beit Hanun (Erez) crossing is closed {with the exception of critically ill patients and those carrying West Bank Identification cards who were on official businessmen trips in the Gaza strip}.

Attack

At 07:30 on September 6th 2018, Israeli Naval vessels opened fire towards Palestinian fishing boats off the shores of Al-Sudaniya area located in west Beit Lahiya town.

Killings

On the morning of September 7th 2018, Amjad Fayiz Ahmad Hamdounah {19 years old}{A resident of Jabaliya camp} died of serious injuries sustained after Israeli forces opened fire towards demonstrators in east Jabaliya town in North Gaza district on July 13th 2018.

GAZA

Closure of Crossing Points

* Al-Muntar (Karni) Crossing is closed. Beginning on 02 March 2011, the Crossing has been effectively closed following a unilateral Israeli decision.
* Al-Shija’iya (Nahal ‘Oz) Crossing is closed. Beginning on 04 January 2010, the Crossing has closed following a unilateral Israeli decision.

Attack

At 08:00 on September 6th 2018, Israeli forces positioned behind the Green Line fired live ammunition, rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents during right of return protest in east Gaza city .

KHAN YUNIS

Attack

1. At 08:00 on September 5th 2018, Israeli forces positioned behind the Green Line opened fire towards agricultural land in east Khuza'a town located in east Khan Yunis city.
2. At 00:15 on September 7th 2018, Israeli forces positioned behind the Green Line opened fire towards agricultural land in Al-Farahin area located in east Khan Yunis city.

RAFAH

Closure of Crossing Points

* Yasser ‘Arafat International Airport remains closed.
*Rafah (Al ‘Awdah) Crossing is open for the entry and exit of residents.
* Sufa Crossing is closed.
* Karm Abu Salem (Karem Shalom) Crossing is open for the entry and exit of residents and for the entry of emergency humanitarian and medical supplies.

Attack

At 13:00 on September 5th 2018, Israeli Naval vessels opened fire towards Palestinian fishing boats off the shores of
Rafah city.
