WEST BANK

JERUSALEM

Military Checkpoints

At 11:30, the occupation forces tightened their procedures at the Qalandia military checkpoint, and impeded traffic.

Raid

At 18:30, the occupation forces raided the town of Al-Ram, clashed with the citizens, while they were on patrol.

Detention

1. On 04/17/2023, the occupation forces positioned near the "Neve Ya'akov" settlement, located in the north of Jerusalem, the citizen: Abdul Karim Jamal Abu Ta'a - a resident of the town of Beit Hanina.
2. At 23:00, the occupation forces positioned in the Bab Al-Amoud area in Jerusalem detained 3 citizens (including 2 brothers): Musa Al-Abbasi, his brother Issa, and their uncle - Mahmoud Al-Abbasi - residents of Jerusalem.

Attack

1. At 18:30, the occupation forces fired stun grenades and tear gas canisters towards citizens for alleged stoning while they were on patrol during the raid into the town of Al-Ram,
2. At 01:30, the occupation forces positioned near Al-Quds University in the town of Abu Dis fired stun grenades and tear gas canisters towards citizens for alleged stoning.

RAMALLAH & AL BIREH

Raid

1. At 10:55, the occupation forces raided the village of Deir Qadis, and patrolled until 10:30.
2. At 06:20, the occupation forces raided the villages of Umm Safa and Deir Al-Sudan, and patrolled until 07:35.

Attack

At dawn on 04/17/2023, the occupation forces fired live ammunition, rubber-coated metal bullets, stun grenades and tear gas canisters towards citizens for alleged stoning as they stormed a number of houses and as a result injured 2 citizens.

Settlers Attacks

At 12:20 AM, a group of settlers were situated near Turmusaya town and began throwing stones at civilian vehicles passing through the main street between Ramallah and Nablus. Consequently, Imad Fayez Haj Muhammad, a resident of Awarta village, sustained injuries and required hospitalization for treatment.

Injuries

1. The individuals who sustained injuries during confrontations with the occupation forces in the city of Al-Bireh are identified as Muhammad Ahmed Abdel Rahman Abu Sabha and Nasim Yazid Mahmoud Odeh.
2. Areen Imad Fayez Haj Muhammad, a resident of Awarta village, is the woman who was injured in a settler attack that took place near the town of Turmusaya.

Closure of main Roads

1. At 16:45, the occupation forces closed the iron gate established on Wadi al-Dalb road near the village of Ras Karkar, and reopened it at a later time.
2. At 17:50, the occupation forces closed the two entrances to the villages of Ras Karkar and Kafr Nima, and reopened them at a later time.

JENIN

Raid

1. At 17:00, the occupation forces raided the village of Al-Jalama, clashed with the citizens, while they were on patrol, and withdrew at 19:30.
2. At 22:05, the occupation forces raided the village of Jalboun, clashed with the citizens, while they were on patrol, and withdrew at 01:15.
3. At 22:35, the occupation forces raided the village of Zabuba, and patrolled until 01:40.

Attack

1. At 17:00, the occupation forces fired rubber-coated metal bullets, stun grenades and tear gas canisters towards citizens for alleged stoning during their raid into Al-Jalama village.
2. At 22:05, the occupying forces fired stun grenades and tear gas canisters towards citizens for alleged stoning while they were on patrol during the raid into the village of Zubba.

TUBAS

Military Checkpoints

At 09:05, the occupation forces tightened their procedures at the Tayaseer checkpoint, and impeded traffic.

Detention

At 03:40, the occupation forces detained Issa Khader Tubasi in the Al-Baqi'a area in the northern Jordan Valley.

QALQILIYA

Flying Checkpoints

At 10:00, the occupation forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance, the eastern entrance to the city of Qalqilya, to search vehicles and verify citizens' identities.

NABLUS

Military Checkpoints

1. At 10:30, the occupation forces tightened their procedures at the Hawara checkpoint, obstructing traffic.
2. At 01:25, the occupation forces closed the Beit Furik checkpoint to traffic, and reopened it at a later time.

Flying Checkpoints

At 20:35, the occupation forces set up a checkpoint at the junction of Surra village, and detained a citizen.

Detention

The detainee at a flying checkpoint at the intersection of the village of Surra is: Saif Al-Din Ibrahim Al-Seddah - a resident of the village of Jit, Qalqilya Governorate.

SALFIT

Flying Checkpoints

At 23:00, the occupation forces set up a checkpoint at the western entrance to the town of Deir Istiya, to search vehicles and verify citizens' identities until 23:40.

Detention

1. At 15:00, the occupation forces detained the citizen: Ali Fawzat Rayan - a resident of the town of Qarawat Bani Hassan, while he was grazing sheep in the Sabti area located between the settlements of "Ravafa" and "Netafim".
2. At 17:50, the occupation forces positioned near the "Ariel" settlement detained, the citizen: Imad Ahmed Asmar.

JERICHO

Military Checkpoints

On 04/17/2023, the occupation forces tightened their measures at the Hamra checkpoint, and impeded traffic.

Flying Checkpoints

1. At 20:30, the occupation forces set up a checkpoint at the northern entrance to the city of Jericho. The checkpoint was set up again at 03:30 to search vehicles and verify citizens' identities until 04:15.
2. At 20:35, the occupation forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance, the eastern entrance to the city of Jericho, to search vehicles and verify citizens' identities until 22:50.
3. At 20:35,the occupation forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance, the southern entrance to the city of Jericho, to search vehicles and verify citizens' identities until 22:50.

Physical Assault

At 8:30 PM, the occupation forces established a checkpoint at the northern entrance of Jericho city, and during this operation, they brutally assaulted Abdul Qadir Masharqa, a resident of Dura town in the Hebron Governorate, when they stopped his vehicle as he was commuting to work and as a result, left him hospitalized with contusions.

Settlers Attacks

At 17:40, a group of settlers was present at the junction of line 90 in the center of Al-Auja town, and closed the street to traffic.

BETHLEHEM

Military Checkpoints

1. At 19:20, the occupation forces closed the 300 checkpoint, north of Bethlehem, and reopened it at 19:35.
2. At 19:20, the occupation forces closed the Mazmuria checkpoint, northeast of Bethlehem, and reopened it at 19:45.

Flying Checkpoints

1. At 09:30, the occupation forces set up a checkpoint at the northern entrance to the town of Tuqu', to search vehicles and verify citizens' identities until 10:50.
2. At 12:30, the occupation forces set up a checkpoint in the Aqabat Hasna area (on the main road leading to the western villages in the Bethlehem governorate), to search vehicles and verify citizens' identities until 13:50.

Raid

1. At 23:05, the occupation forces raided the village of Husan, and patrolled until 02:05.
2. At 01:55, the occupation forces raided the city of Beit Jala and the town of Za'tara, stormed and searched a number of homes, then withdrew at 04:40.

Attack

the occupation forces stationed near the intersection of the "Gush Etzion" settlements fired at a woman, alleging that she had stabbed two settlers and as a result left her seriously injured as a result of the gunfire, and subsequently taken into custody by the occupation forces.

Injuries

The female citizen who was injured near the junction of the "Gush Etzion" settlements is: Fatima Ismail Abdel Rahman Shaheen, 33 years old, a resident of Dheisheh camp in Bethlehem.

Detention

1. At 13:10, the occupation forces detained 3 citizens: Muhammad Fouad Diriyeh, Muhammad Samir Diriyeh, and Younis Yusef Zaki Diriyeh - residents of the town of Beit Fajjar, while they were visiting the Israeli intelligence, based on prior notifications. They are:.
2. The detainee (after being wounded - by injuries) near the junction of the "Gush Etzion" settlement is: Fatima Ismail Abdel Rahman Shaheen - a resident of the Dheisheh camp in Bethlehem.

HEBRON

Flying Checkpoints

1. At 11:35, the occupation forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance to the village of Karmel, southeast of Yatta, to search vehicles and verify citizens' identities until 13:05.
2. At 18:30, the occupation forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance to Bani Naim (Wadi Al-Joz Road), to search vehicles and verify citizens' identities until 19:50.
3. At 00:45, the occupation forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance to the village of Al-Tuwani, east of Yatta, to search vehicles and verify citizens' identities until 01:30.

Raid

1. At 21:10, the occupation forces raided the town of Al-Dhahiriya and detained a citizen.
2. At 04:35, the occupation forces raided the town of Beit Ummar, and detained 3 citizens (including a child).

Detention

1. On 04/17/2023, the occupation forces detained the citizen: Ahmed Munif Qazzaz - residents of the town of Dura, while he was visiting the Israeli intelligence, based on a prior notification.
2. The detainee in the town of Al-Dhahiriya is: Faraj Hussein Shwekia.
3. The 3 detainees in the town of Beit Ummar are: Wasim Muhammad Fares Al-Shaqdam, 14 years old, Wassim Nabil Ahmed Bahr, and Diyar Evan Jamal Al-Salibi.

Attack

1. At 21:20, the occupation forces positioned near the entrance to Al-Arroub camp fired stun grenades and tear gas canisters towards citizens for alleged stoning.
2. At 22:00, the occupation forces, stationed at the Abu Al-Rish checkpoint in the old city of Hebron, fired stun grenades and tear gas canisters towards citizens for alleged stoning.
3. At 22:15, the occupation forces positioned in the Al-Kasara area in the Old City of Hebron in the outer square of the Khaled bin Al-Walid Mosqu fired stun grenades and tear gas canisters toward citizens for alleged stoning.
4. At 00:50, the occupation forces fired rubber-coated metal bullets, stun grenades and fired stun grenades and tear gas canisters towards citizens for alleged stoning and as a result injured a child.

Injuries

The civilian: Hassan Ayman Qauqas Khalil, 17 years old was injured during clashes with the occupation forces near the entrance to the town of Beit Ummar.

GAZA STRIP

ALL DISTRICTS

• At 02:00 on 05/21/ 2021, the comprehensive ceasefire entered into force at the initiative and sponsorship of the Arab Republic of Egypt.

GAZA

KHAN YUNIS

Attack

On the evening of 04/17/2023, the occupation forces opened fire from their positions on the Green Line, towards agricultural lands east of the town of Khuza'a, east of Khan Yunis.

RAFAH

Closure of Crossing Points

* Yasser Arafat International Airport: closed.
Sufa crossing: closed.
* Kerem Shalom Crossing - "Kerem Shalom": on 04/17/2023, it is partially open (for the entry of foodstuffs and goods, limited quantities of fuel and cooking gas, and building materials for the private sector and for internationally funded projects).
* Al-Awda- Rafah: On 04/17/2023, is closed.
