WEST BANK

JERUSALEM

Detention

1. At 08:00, the occupation forces detained the citizen: Muhammad Musa Salama - residents of the town of Anata.
2. At 12:30, the occupation forces detained the child: Khalil Abu Ghazaleh, in Al-Tur neighborhood in Jerusalem.
3. At 18:00, the occupation forces detained the child: Adham Nawaf Al-Salaymeh, in the Ras Al-Amoud neighborhood in Jerusalem.
4. At dawn on 12/19/2022, the occupation forces detained 3 citizens in the village of Sur Baher: Mahmoud Ahmed Atoun, Qassam Mahmoud Atoun, and Muhammad Suhaib Atoun.

Attack

On the evening of 12/18/2022, the occupation forces positioned in the town of Al-Ram fired stun grenades and tear gas canisters towards citizens for alleged stoning.

Obstruction of Places of Worship

At 08:00, groups of extremist Israeli settlers, under the protection of the Israeli occupation police, stormed the courtyards of Al-Aqsa Mosque, and made provocative tours of its courtyards and facilities.

RAMALLAH & AL BIREH

Flying Checkpoints

1. At 09:40, the occupation forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance to the village of Yabrud, to search vehicles and verify citizens' identities.
2. At 10:50, the occupation forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance to the village of Beitin, to search vehicles and verify citizens' identities.
3. At 11:00, the occupation forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance to the town of Sinjil, and detained a citizen.
4. At 12:30, the occupation forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance to Rantis village, to search vehicles and verify citizens' identities.
5. At 18:45, the occupation forces set up a checkpoint at the junction of the eastern town of Al-Mazra'a, to search vehicles and verify citizens' identities.

Detention

The detainee at a flying checkpoint at the entrance to the town of Sinjil is: Muhammad Abd al-Wadud - residents of Duma village, Nablus governorate.

JENIN

Raid

1. At 19:55, the occupation forces raided the village of Faqqu'a, clashed with the citizens as they stormed on a number of homes, and detained 2 citizens.
2. At 04:25, the occupation forces raided the town of Burqin and detained a citizen.

Detention

1. The two detainees in the village of Faqqu'a are: Muhammad Nasser Abu Salama and Nadim Irsan Abu Salama.
2. The detainee in the town of Burqin is: Youssef Muhammad Salih Al-Bazour.

Attack

1. At 19:55, the occupation forces fired rubber-coated metal bullets, stun grenades and tear gas canisters towards citizens for alleged stoning as they stormed a number of houses and as a result left a number of citizens suffocated due to tear gas inhalation.
2. On the evening of 12/18/2022, the occupation forces positioned near the roundabout of Arraba town and the roundabout of Anza village, fired rubber-coated metal bullets, stun grenades and tear gas canisters towards citizens for alleged stoning.

Settlers Attacks

On the evening of 12/19/2022, the occupation forces stormed the ruins of the evacuated "Tirsla" settlement near the town of Jaba, and withdrew at a later time.

QALQILIYA

Closure of main Roads

At noon on 12/18/2022, the occupation forces closed the iron gate at the entrance to the town of Azzun, and reopened it at a later time.

NABLUS

Flying Checkpoints

1. At 20:25, the occupation forces set up a roadblock on Hawara town street, to search vehicles and verify citizens' identities.
2. At 07:15, the occupation forces set up a checkpoint at the Beita town junction, to search vehicles and verify citizens' identities.

Detention

On the morning of 12/18/2022, the occupation forces detained 2 citizens (a citizen and his son) : Nasser Musa Hussein Al-Naqeeb, and his son Muhammad during the storming of the Askar camp in the city of Nablus (as mentioned in the previous report).

Injuries

On the morning of 12/18/2022, 3 citizens were injured during clashes with the occupation forces during their raid into the Askar camp in the city of Nablus (as mentioned in the previous report): Mahmoud Samir Subhi Faraj, Ahmed Jamal Muhammad Samha, and Ahmed Ghaleb Abdel-Jabbar Dweikat.

Settlers Attacks

At 07:15, a group of settlers, near the junction of the village of Al-Sawiya, set fire to a commercial store and an agricultural nursery, owned by the citizen: Muhammad Ibrahim Mahamid.

BETHLEHEM

Flying Checkpoints

1. At 14:40, the occupation forces set up a checkpoint in the Aqabat Hasna area (on the main road leading to the western villages in the Bethlehem governorate), to search vehicles and verify citizens' identities until 15:25.
2. At 14:40, the occupation forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance to the village of Husan, and detained two women.

Raid

At 02:10, the occupation forces raided the towns of Al-Abdiya, Taqu', and the village of Dar Salah, detained 3 citizens, and withdrew at 06:50.

Detention

1. The two detainees at a sudden checkpoint at the entrance to the village of Husan are: Israa Muhammad Helmy Shakarneh, and Shahd Ahmed Muhammad Khalawi.
2. The 3 detainees in the towns of Al-Obaidiya, Taqu' and the village of Dar Salah are: Ahmed Khaled Suleiman Al-Amor - residents of the town of Taqu', Milad Muhammad Jamil Hassana - residents of the town of Al-Ubaidiya, and Muhammad Musa Al-Asas - residents of the village of Dar Salah.

Confiscation of Property

On 12/18/2022, the occupation forces confiscated, a bulldozer owned by the citizen: Abdullah Abu Sway in the village of Beit Tamar while working on the land of the citizen: Suhaib Zawahra.

HEBRON

Flying Checkpoints

At 20:30, the occupation forces set up a checkpoint at Halhul town bridge, to search vehicles and verify citizens' identities until 23:00.

Raid

1. At dawn on 12/19/2022, the occupation forces raided the town of Yatta, and detained 3 citizens (including a prisoner's wife and 2 high school students).
2. At dawn on 12/19/2022, the occupation forces raided the town of Dura, and detained a citizen.

Detention

1. The 3 detainees in the town of Yatta are: citizen - Nihal Muhammad Rabei (a prisoner's wife), Abdullah Ibrahim Da'ajneh, and Musa Ibrahim Abu Qubeita.
2. The detainee in the town of Dura is: Osama Muhammad Al-Awawdeh.

Attack

1. At 09:00, the occupation forces positioned near the entrance to Al-Arroub camp fired rubber-coated metal bullets, stun and tear gas canisters towards citizens for alleged stoning.
2. On the evening of 12/18/2022, the occupation forces positioned near the entrance to the town of Beit Ummar fired stun and tear gas canisters towards citizens participating in the funeral of a child, in an attempt to prevent them from reaching the cemetery and as a result left several civilians suffocated from tear gas inhalation.

GAZA STRIP

ALL DISTRICTS

• At 02:00 on 05/21/ 2021, the comprehensive ceasefire entered into force at the initiative and sponsorship of the Arab Republic of Egypt.
• On the morning of 07/30/ 2021, the Israeli occupation forces allowed the expansion of the marine fishing area from 9 nautical miles to 12 nautical miles.
• The occupation forces violated the ceasefire agreement by firing from their positions on the Green Line in the governorates of North Gaza, Al Wusta, and Khan Yunis, and by gunboats firing at fishermen's boats while they were chasing them at sea in the northern Gaza governorate.

NORTHERN GAZA

Closure of Crossing Points

* Beit Hanoun crossing - “Erez”: On 12/18/ 2022, it is partially open (for the passage of humanitarian cases, foreign journalists, workers of international humanitarian organizations, merchants, businessmen and travelers through the Al-Karama Crossing “Allenby” - previously coordinated for them).

Attack

At 16:30 on 12/18/2022, Israeli gunboats opened fire towards fishermen's boats at sea off the shore of Al-Sudaniyya area, west of the town of Beit Lahiya.

GAZA

Closure of Crossing Points

* Al-Muntar-Karni crossing: closed since 02/03/2011, permanently and by a unilateral Israeli decision.
* Shejaiya Crossing - “Nahal Oz” for fuel: closed since 04. 01. 2010, by unilateral Israeli decision.

Attack

1. At 10:00 on 12/18/2022, the occupation forces opened fire and launched tear gas canisters from their positions on the Green Line, towards a number of citizens near the border fence, east of Gaza City.
2. At 12:45 on 12/18/2022, the occupation forces opened fire from their positions on the Green Line, towards agricultural lands east of Gaza City.

CENTRAL GAZA

Attack

At 08:00 on 12/18/2022, the occupation forces fired fire and tear gas canisters from their positions on the Green Line, towards a number of citizens near the border fence, east of Deir Al-Balah.

KHAN YUNIS

Attack

1. At 08:20 on 12/18/2022, the occupation forces fired fire and tear gas canisters from their positions on the Green Line, towards a number of citizens near the border fence, east of the town of Khuza'a, east of Khan Yunis.
2. At 11:30 on 12/18/2022, the occupation forces opened fire from their positions on the Green Line, towards agricultural lands east of the town of Khuza'a, east of Khan Yunis.

RAFAH

Closure of Crossing Points

* Yasser Arafat International Airport: closed.
* Sofa crossing: closed.
* Kerem Shalom - Kerem Shalom Crossing: On 12/18/ 2022, it is partially open (for the entry of limited quantities of fuel and fuel for the power plant, fodder, foodstuffs, and medical materials).
* Al-Awda- Rafah crossing: On 12/18/ 2022 is open in both directions (for citizens to leave and enter).
