WEST BANK

JERUSALEM

Land Confiscation

On 02/02/2023, the occupation authorities issued a decision to seize about 500 dunums, owned by citizens, between the town of Hizma and the village of Jaba, under the pretext of expanding the main street.

Obstruction of Places of Worship

1. At 08:00, groups of extremist settlers, under the protection of the occupation police, stormed the courtyards of Al-Aqsa Mosque, and conducted provocative tours of its courtyards and facilities.
2. On 02/02/2023, an extremist settler stormed the Church of the Imprisonment of Christ in the Old City of Jerusalem, breaking and smashing its contents, as the church guard was able to confront the extremist settler who tried to set it on fire and cause more damage to the church.

RAMALLAH & AL BIREH

Flying Checkpoints

1. At 09:50, the occupation forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance to the village of Nabi Saleh, to search vehicles and verify citizens' identities.
2. At 16:45, the occupation forces set up a checkpoint at the Wadi al-Dalb road junction, near the village of Ras Karkar, to search vehicles and verify citizens' identities.
3. At 18:20, the occupation forces set up two checkpoints at the entrances to the villages of Nabi Saleh and Deir Abu Mishaal, to search vehicles and verify citizens' identities.

Raid

At 04:00, the occupation forces raided Al-Bireh, stormed and searched a home, and withdrew at 05:50.

Detention

At 13:45, the occupation forces detained the citizen: Majed Ramadan Al-Naasan - a resident of the village of Al-Mughair, while he was visiting the Israeli intelligence, based on a prior notification.

JENIN

Flying Checkpoints

On 02/ 02/ 2023, the occupation forces set up a checkpoint on the main road, Jenin - Nablus, to search vehicles and verify citizens' identities.

Raid

1. At 17:05, the occupation forces raided the village of Rummana, where clashes took place with the citizens, as they raided a cafe, and arrested a citizen, and confiscated his private vehicle.
2. At 18:25, a special force of the Occupying Army raided the city of Jenin, and detained a citizen.
3. At 05:25, the occupation forces raided the village of Masliah, and detained a citizen.

Detention

1. The detainee in the village of Rummana is: Ihab Nabil Mahajna.
2. The detainee in the city of Jenin is: Amir Qaraan - a resident of Jenin camp.
3. The detainee in the village of Masliyeh is: Anas Radwan Abu Mualla.

Attack

At 17:05, the occupation forces fired stun grenades and tear gas canisters towards citizens for alleged stoning while they were on patrol during the raid into the village of Rummana.

Confiscation of Property

At 17:05, the occupation forces confiscated a private vehicle, owned by the citizen: Ihab Nabil Mahajna, in the village of Rummana, during his arrest.

TUBAS

Raid

At 03:55, the occupation forces raided the town of Aqaba, clashed with the citizens, detained 3 citizens, and withdrew at 07:05.

Detention

The 3 detainees in the town of Aqaba are: Hamza Imad Hassan Abu Arra, Mahmoud Suleiman Khalil Abu Arra, and Murad Khaled Abu Hamad.

Attack

At 03:55, the occupation forces fired stun grenades and tear gas canisters towards citizens as they stormed a number of houses during their raid into Aqaba village.

QALQILIYA

Detention

At 03:00 on 02/02/2023, the occupation forces detained the citizen: Muhammad Abdel Halim Muhammad Daoud during their raid into the city of Qalqilya (in addition to what was mentioned in the previous report).

NABLUS

Raid

At 02:05, the occupation forces raided the village of Burqa, detained a citizen, and withdrew at 06:30.

Detention

The detainee in the village of Burqa is: Muhammad Abd al-Rahim Abu Saif.

House Demolition

At 09:00, the occupation forces demolished two houses in the village of Douma owned by two civilians: Ahmed Muhammad Odeh Alqam and Mustafa Khaled Salem Malihat, citing a lack of a permit, resulting in clashes with the citizens and the injured of a journalist.

Attack

At 09:00, the occupation forces fired rubber-coated metal bullets, stun grenades, and tear gas canisters towards citizens who were attempting to prevent the demolition of two houses in the village of Douma, injuring a journalist.

Injuries

The Journalist - Ayman Al-Nubani was injured during clashes with the occupation forces in the village of Duma.

Settlers Attacks

On 02/02/2023, a settler attacked a 14-year-old boy, Faisal Suleiman Al-Mukhtar, when he stopped his car on the main street of Huwwara, by spraying pepper gas from his window into his face.

JERICHO

Flying Checkpoints

On 02/02/2023, the occupation forces set up military checkpoints at all entrances to the city of Jericho, to search vehicles and verify citizens' identities.

Raid

At 23:10, the occupation forces raided the city of Jericho, clashed with the citizens, while they were on patrol, and withdrew at 24:00.

Detention

At 17:30, the occupation forces positioned at the checkpoint established at the northwestern entrance to the city of Jericho, detained the citizen: Qais Kamal Sawalma - a resident of Al-Fara'a camp, Tubas governorate.

Attack

At 23:10, the occupation forces fired stun grenades and tear gas canisters towards the citizens for alleged stoning during the raid into the city of Jericho.

House Demolition

On 02/02/2023, the occupation forces demolished a house in the Nabi Musa area, in addition to a sheep farm, owned by the citizen: Odeh Ali Rashaida, under the pretext of not having a license.

Destruction of Property

1. On 02/02/2023, the occupation forces demolished a sheep farm as well as a home owned by the citizen: Ouda Ali Rashaida in the Nabi Musa neighborhood under the pretext of not having a license.
2. On 02/02/2023, the occupation forces demolished 15 commercial and tourist shops near Wadi al-Qilt owned by citizens from Aqabat Jaber camp for selling antiquities and carrying visitors on animals, under the pretext of not having a license.e.

Confiscation of Property

On 02/02/2023, the occupation forces confiscated a trailer, solar panels for generating electricity, and a generator owned by Odeh Ali Rashaida while demolishing a home and a sheep farm in the Nabi Musa area under the pretext of not having a license.

BETHLEHEM

Flying Checkpoints

1. At 17:40, the occupation forces set up a checkpoint in the Aqabat Hasna area (on the main road leading to the western villages in the Bethlehem governorate), to search vehicles and verify citizens' identities.
2. At 21:50, the occupation forces set up a checkpoint at the western entrance to the town of Beit Fajjar, and detained a citizen.

Detention

The detainee at a flying checkpoint at the western entrance to the town of Beit Fajjar is: Iyad Taqatqa.

HEBRON

Flying Checkpoints

1. At 08:35, the occupation forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance to Al-Fawar camp, to search vehicles and verify citizens' identities until 10:00.
2. At 16:15, the occupation forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance to the town of Bani Naim, to search vehicles and verify citizens' identities until 17:00.

Raid

1. At 01:10, the occupation forces raided Hebron, stormed and searched a home.
2. At 02:10, the occupation forces raided Al-Arroub camp and detained a citizen.

Detention

1. At dawn on 02/03/2023, the occupation forces detained 2 citizens Adnan Farid Jaber and Muhammad Fadi Jaber in the Old City of Hebron.
2. The detainee in Al-Arroub camp is: Abdullah Hussein Tafesh.

Attack

At 21:30, the occupation forces stationed opposite Al-Arroub camp, fired stun grenades and tear gas canisters towards citizens located at the entrance to the camps for alleged stoning.

GAZA STRIP

ALL DISTRICTS

• At 02:00 on 05/21/ 2021, the comprehensive ceasefire entered into force at the initiative and sponsorship of the Arab Republic of Egypt.
• On the morning of 07/30/ 2021, the Israeli occupation forces allowed the expansion of the marine fishing area from 9 nautical miles to 12 nautical miles.

NORTHERN GAZA

Closure of Crossing Points

* Beit Hanoun crossing - “Erez”: On 02/02/ 2023, it is partially open (for the passage of humanitarian cases, foreign journalists, workers of international humanitarian organizations, merchants, businessmen and travelers through the Al-Karama Crossing “Allenby” - previously coordinated for them).

GAZA

Closure of Crossing Points

* Al-Muntar-Karni crossing: closed since 02/03/2011, permanently and by a unilateral Israeli decision.
* Shejaiya Crossing - “Nahal Oz” for fuel: closed since 04. 01. 2010, by unilateral Israeli decision.

RAFAH

Closure of Crossing Points

* Yasser Arafat International Airport: closed.
* Sofa crossing: closed.
* Kerem Shalom - Kerem Shalom Crossing: On 02/02/ 2022, it is partially open (for the entry of limited quantities of fuel and fuel for the power plant, fodder, foodstuffs, and medical materials).
* Al-Awda- Rafah crossing: On 02/02/ 2022 is open in both directions (for citizens to leave and enter).
