Detention

1. At dawn on 02/ 17/2023, the occupation forces detained the citizen: Youssef Mahmoud Muhammad Helwa during their raid into the town of Anata (in addition to what was mentioned in the previous report).
2. At 16:30, the occupation forces detained 2 citizens in Jerusalem: Samir Sarhan and Ahmed Alqam.

Attack

1. At noon on 02/ 17/2023, the occupation forces positioned in Bido town fired rubber-coated metal bullets, stun grenades and tear gas canisters towards citizens for alleged stoning.
2. At 13:00, the occupation forces fired stun grenades and tear gas canisters towards protesting citizens in front of a building threatened with demolition in the Silwan neighborhood of Jerusalem.
3. At 18:00, the occupation forces positioned in Al-Eizariya town fired rubber-coated metal bullets, stun grenades and tear gas canisters towards citizens for alleged stoning and as a result injured a child.
4. At 18:20, the occupation forces near the junction of the town of Al-Ram fired rubber-coated metal bullets, stun grenades and tear gas canisters towards citizens for alleged stoning.

Injuries

The civilian: Muhammad Essam Sharif Al-Jamzawi was injured during clashes with the occupation forces in the town of Al-Eizariya.

Confiscation of Property

1. At 20:00, the occupation forces confiscated an amount of 190,000 shekels in the Old City of Jerusalem from the bank account of the released prisoner: Ahmed Braghetti and his father, under the pretext that he had received prisoner allowances from the Palestinian National Authority.
2. Flying Checkpoints

1. At 12:25, the occupation forces set up a checkpoint near the entrance to the "Ofer" camp, to search vehicles and verify citizens' identities.
2. At 13:40, the occupation forces set up two checkpoints at the southern entrance to the town of Silwad (near the "Ofra" settlement) and at the entrance to the village of Yabrud, to search vehicles and verify citizens' identities.

Raid

1. At 14:40, the occupation forces raided the village of Al-Mughair, and detained 3 citizens.
2. At 18:30, the occupation forces raided the town of Dura Al-Qara, detained 2 children, released them later, and withdrew at 20:20.

Detention

The 3 detainees in the village of Al-Mughayer are: Hussein Saqr Abu Alia, Ihab Osama Abu Alia, and Obaidah Hussein Abu Alia.

Attack

1. At 13:00, the occupation forces positioned on the Wadi al-Dalb road near the village of Ras Karkar fired stun grenades and tear gas canisters towards citizens for alleged stoning.
2. At 13:05, the occupation forces positioned near the western entrance to the town of Silwad fired rubber-coated metal bullets, stun grenades and tear gas canisters towards citizens for alleged stoning.
3. At 17:15, the occupation forces positioned near the "Ofer" camp fired rubber-coated metal bullets, stun grenades and tear gas canisters towards citizens for alleged stoning.

Closure of main Roads

At 19:45, the occupation forces closed the iron gate on the main street leading to the Jalazoun and Al-Mar camp, adjacent to the "Beit El" settlement, to traffic.

TUBAS

Military Checkpoints

At 17:55, the occupation forces tightened their procedures at the Tayaseer checkpoint, and impeded traffic.

TULKAREM

Raid

At 00:40, the occupation forces raided the village of Far'oun, stormed and searched a house, and withdrew at 01:30.

QALQILIYA

Attack

1. At 12:30, the occupation forces near the eastern (closed) entrance to the village of Kafr Qaddum fired rubber-coated metal bullets, stun grenades, and tear gas canisters towards protesting citizens for alleged stoning as they were demonstrating against the closure of the entrance to the village and as a result injured 3 demonstrators and left a number of others suffocated due to tear gas inhalation.
2. At 18:50, the occupation forces positioned near the entrance to the town of Azzun fired stun grenades, and tear gas canisters towards civilians for alleged stoning.

Injuries

3 unidentified civilians (including a foreign peace activist) were injured during clashes with the occupation forces near the (closed) eastern entrance in the village of Kafr Qaddum.

Closure of main Roads

1. At 12:25, the occupation forces closed the Wadi Qana road (the link between the governorates of Qalqilya and Salfit), and reopened it at a later time.
2. At 18:50, the occupation forces closed the iron gate at the entrance to the town of Azzun, and reopened it at 23:30.

NABLUS

Military Checkpoints

1. At 12:34, the occupation forces tightened their procedures at the "Shafi Shomron" checkpoint, and impeded traffic.
2. At 13:15, the occupation forces tightened their procedures at the Beit Furik checkpoint, obstructing traffic.
3. At 21:05, the occupation forces tightened their measures at the Hawara checkpoint, obstructing traffic.

Flying Checkpoints

1. At 12:30, the occupation forces set up a checkpoint between the city of Nablus and the town of Asira Al-Shamaliya, to search vehicles and verify citizens' identities.
2. At 14:15, the occupation forces set up a checkpoint in the Al-Murabaa area near the entrance to the village of Tal. The checkpoint was set up again at 21:30 to search vehicles and verify citizens' identities.
3. At 15:35, the occupation forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance to the village of Burqa, to search vehicles and verify citizens' identities.
4. At 16:40, the occupation forces set up a checkpoint in the Yanun area, east of the town of Beit Furik, to search vehicles and verify citizens' identities.
5. At 22:45, the occupation forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance to the village of Surra, to search vehicles and verify citizens' identities.

Raid

1. At 09:30, the occupation forces raided the village of Qusin, clashed with the citizens, while they were on patrol.
2. At 14:45, the occupation forces raided the village of Sebastia, and conducted a patrol.

Attack

1. At 09:30, the occupation forces fired stun grenades and tear gas canisters towards citizens, while they were on patrol during the raid into the village of Qusin.
2. At 12:30, the occupation forces positioned near the spring of the village of Qaryut fired stun grenades and tear gas canisters towards civilians for alleged stoning and as a result left a number of citizens suffocated due to tear gas inhalation.
3. At 12:35, the occupation forces positioned near the village of Beit Dajan fired rubber-coated metal bullets, stun grenades and tear gas canisters towards citizens and foreign solidarity activists participating in a demonstration against settler attacks and the confiscation of land for settlement projects, and as a result left a number of citizens suffocated due to tear gas inhalation.
4. At 13:00,the occupation forces positioned in the Jabal Sabih area in the town of Beita fired stun grenades and tear gas canisters towards the citizens and foreign solidarity participants in a demonstration against settler attacks and the confiscation of land for settlement projects, and as a result left a number of citizens suffocated due to tear gas inhalation.

Settlers Attacks

At 14:45, a group of settlers positioned near the entrance to the "Yitzhar" settlement, assaulted the citizen: Muhammad Gharib, after a traffic accident occurred and as a result left him hospitalized with contusions.

SALFIT

Flying Checkpoints

At 13:35, the occupation forces set up a checkpoint at the western entrance to the town of Deir Istiya, to search vehicles and verify citizens' identities until 17:00.

Raid

At 16:40, the occupation forces raided the town of Deir Ballut, detained a child, and withdrew at 22:00.

Detention

The detainee in the town of Deir Ballut is: Abdul Rahman Jabara Abdullah, 17 years old.

BETHLEHEM

Flying Checkpoints

1. At 10:00, the occupation forces set up a checkpoint in the Esh Ghurab area, east of Beit Sahour, to search vehicles and verify citizens' identities until 12:25.
2. At 15:40, the occupation forces set up a checkpoint at the western entrance to the town of Beit Fajjar. The checkpoint was set up again at 20:20 to search vehicles and verify citizens' identities until 00:25.
3. At 17:25, the occupation forces set up a checkpoint in the Aqabat Hasna area (on the main road leading to the western villages in the Bethlehem governorate), to search vehicles and verify citizens' identities.
4. At 01:35, the occupation forces set up a checkpoint at the western entrance to Husan village, to search vehicles and verify citizens' identities until 02:00.

Raid

At 14:45, the occupation forces raided the town of Tuqu' clashed with the citizens, while they were on patrol.

Attack

1. At 14:35, the occupation forces positioned in the wilderness of the town of Tuqu' fired rubber-coated metal bullets, stun and tear gas canisters towards the citizens, to prevent them from reaching their lands, which were threatened with confiscation.
2. At 14:45, the occupation forces fired stun grenades and tear gas canisters towards citizens, during their raid into the town of Tuqu', for alleged stoning.

Closure of main Roads

1. At 14:35, the occupation forces closed the northern entrance to the town of Tequ', and reopened it at a later time.
2. At 15:20, the occupation forces closed the western entrance to the village of Husan, and reopened it at a later time.

Settlers Attacks

1. At 16:20, a group of settlers entered the agricultural lands of the citizens of the village of Husan, located near the settlement of "Beitar Illit", and beat the citizen: Nasser Mahmoud Sabatin - a resident of the village of Husan, while he was on his land, wounding him - with injuries and bruises. He was subsequently admitted to the hospital for treatment, and his vehicle's windshield was smashed.
2. At 18:40, a group of settlers seized 10 dunums of the citizens' agricultural land in the areas of Ain Qasis and Khirbet Abu Ghalioun, which belong to the town of Al-Khader, and owned by citizens of the Musa family.

Injuries

The civilian: Nasser Mahmoud Al-Sabateen, 55 years old injured and bruised as a result of the assault by settlers while he was on his land belonging to the village of Husan, located near the settlement of "Beitar Illit".

HEBRON

Flying Checkpoints

1. At 12:35, the occupation forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance to the town of Beit Awa, to search vehicles and verify citizens' identities until 16:00.
2. At 13:25, the occupation forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance to the town of Ithna, to search vehicles and verify citizens' identities until 16:05.
3. At 15:35, the occupation forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance to Al-Fawar camp, to search vehicles and verify citizens' identities.
4. At 21:50, the occupation forces set up a checkpoint at Al-Sahib Junction in Hebron, to search vehicles and verify citizens' identities until 23:00.

Raid

At dawn on 02/ 17/ 2023, the occupation forces raided the village of Hadab Al-Fawar, and detained 2 citizens.

Detention

The two detainees in the village of Hadab al-Fawar are: Urwa Naim al-Koumi and Ahmed Nimr al-Qassas.

Attack

1. At 13:00, the occupation forces positioned near the entrance of the town of Beit Ummar fired live ammunition ,rubber-coated metal bullets, stun grenades, and tear gas canisters towards citizens for alleged stoning and as a result injured a citizen.
2. On the afternoon of 02/17/2023, the occupation forces positioned in the Bab Al-Zawiya area in Hebron fired stun grenades and tear gas canisters towards citizens for alleged stoning.
3. At 19:30 and 21:00,the occupation forces positioned opposite Al-Aroub camp, fired live ammunition,rubber-coated metal bullets, stun grenades, and tear gas canisters towards citizens for alleged throwing of a Molotov cocktail and stoning of the watchtower near the entrance to the camp.

Injuries

The civilian: Omar Khalil was injured during clashes with the occupation forces near the entrance to the town of Beit Ummar.

Settlers Attacks

On 02/17/2023, a group of settlers entered the agricultural lands of the citizens in the Al-Thala area, located near the "Karmiel" settlement, which is established east of the town of Yatta, and uprooted and cut down 70 olive trees belonging to the citizen: Jamil Awad Zain.

GAZA STRIP

ALL DISTRICTS

• At 02:00 on 05/21/ 2021, the comprehensive ceasefire entered into force at the initiative and sponsorship of the Arab Republic of Egypt.
• On the morning of 07/30/ 2021, the Israeli occupation forces allowed the expansion of the marine fishing area from 9 nautical miles to 12 nautical miles.
• The occupation forces violated the ceasefire agreement by firing from their positions on the Green Line in the governorates of North Gaza, Gaza, Central Gaza, and Khan Yunis, and by gunboats firing at fishermen's boats while chasing them at sea in the North Gaza governorate, and the shooting resulted in the injury of 3 citizens in the two governorates Gaza and Central Gaza.

NORTHERN GAZA

Closure of Crossing Points

* Beit Hanoun crossing - “Erez”: On 02/17/ 2023, it is partially open (for the passage of humanitarian cases, foreign journalists, workers of international humanitarian organizations, merchants, businessmen and travelers through the Al-Karama Crossing “Allenby” - previously coordinated for them).

Attack

1. On the morning of 02/17/2023, Israeli gunboats opened fire towards fishermen's boats while they were chasing them at sea off the shore of Al-Sudaniyya area, west of the town of Beit Lahiya.
2. On the afternoon of 02/17/2023, the occupying forces fired live ammunition and launched tear gas canisters from their positions on the Green Line, towards a number of citizens near the border fence, east of the town of Jabalia.

GAZA

Closure of Crossing Points

* Al-Muntar-Karni crossing: closed since 02/03/2011, permanently and by a unilateral Israeli decision.
* Shejaiya Crossing - “Nahal Oz” for fuel: closed since 04. 01. 2010, by unilateral Israeli decision.

Attack

On the afternoon of 02/17/2023, the occupation forces fired live ammunition and launched tear gas canisters from their positions on the Green Line, towards a number of demonstrating citizens near the border fence, east of Gaza City, which resulted in the injury of a citizen.

Injuries

A unidentified civilian was injured east of Gaza City.

CENTRAL GAZA

Attack

1. On the morning of 02/17/2023, the occupation forces fired live ammunition and launched tear gas canisters from their positions on the Green Line, towards a number of citizens, shepherds, near the border fence, east of Al-Bureij and Al-Maghazi camps.
2. On the afternoon of 02/17/2023, the occupation forces fired live ammunition and launched tear gas canisters from their positions on the Green Line, towards the demonstrating citizens near the border fence, east of Al-Bureij camp and as a result injured 2 citizens, and left a number of citizens suffocated due to tear gas inhalation.

Injuries

two unidentified civilians were injured east of Al-Bureij camp.

KHAN YUNIS

Attack

On the afternoon of 02/17/2023, the occupation forces fired tear gas canisters from their positions on the Green Line, towards a number of farmers near the border fence, east of the new town of Abasan, east of Khan Yunis.

RAFAH
