DAILY SITUATION REPORT
08:00 7th January 2023-08:00,8th January 2023
At 17:15, the occupation forces set up a checkpoint in the area between the town of Biddu and the village of Al-Jib, to search vehicles and verify citizens' identities until 18:00.
On the morning of 01/08/2023, the occupation forces detained Nasser Hijazi , after raiding and searching his family's home in the Old City of Jerusalem.
On the evening of 01/07/2023, the occupation forces raided the Arba’een Diwaniya in the village of Al-Issawiya, and prevented a meeting of the Parents’ Committee of students in Jerusalem schools and also handed a number of attendees notices to review the Israeli intelligence.
1. At 08:40, the occupying forces set up a checkpoint near the roundabout of the "Nili" settlement, located north of the village of Deir Qadis, to search vehicles and verify citizens' identities.
2. At 13:20, the occupying forces set up a checkpoint at the Wadi El-Dalb road junction, to search vehicles and verify citizens' identities.
3. At 17:45, the occupation forces set up a checkpoint at the northern entrance to Al-Bireh, to search vehicles and verify citizens' identities.
4. At 18:50, the occupation forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance to the village of Nabi Saleh, to search vehicles and verify citizens' identities.
5. At 19:10, the occupation forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance to the town of Atara, to search vehicles and verify citizens' identities.

At 13:55, a group of settlers entered the agricultural lands of the citizens of the village of Al-Mughayyir, and sprayed chemical materials - herbicides on olive seedlings, which led to the destruction of about 150 olive seedlings (ranging in age between 3-4), in addition to stealing 50 barrels and barbed wire. It is 30 meters long and owned by Mohammed Hussein Abu Alia.
On the morning of 01/07/2023, the occupation forces set up a checkpoint in the area between the towns of Zababdeh and Qabatba, to search vehicles and verify citizens' identities.
On the evening of 01/07/2023, the occupation forces raided the villages of Rummana, Anin, Al-Taybeh, Nazlat Zaid and Tora, and conducted a patrol.
At 12:00, the occupation forces set up a checkpoint at the Hajjah village junction, to search vehicles and verify citizens' identities.
At 16:20, a group of settlers from "Ma'ali Shomron" settlement entered the agricultural lands of the citizens of the town of Azzun, and cut down the branches of about 30 olive trees, owned by the citizen: Radi Muhammad Radwan.
At 19:05, the occupation forces tightened their measures at the Huwwara checkpoint, obstructing traffic.
1. At 11:45, the occupation forces set up a checkpoint at the junction of the Al-Murabaa area, near the village of Tal, to search vehicles and verify citizens' identities.
2. At 15:10, the occupation forces set up a checkpoint between the city of Nablus and the town of Asira Al-Shamaliya, to search vehicles and verify citizens' identities.
On the evening of 01/07/2023, a group of settlers stormed the agricultural lands of the citizens belonging to the villages of Burqa and Deir Sharaf, and stole a fence and iron pipes from a land owned by the citizen: Maher Al-Junaidi, and seedlings from a nursery owned by the citizen: Tawfiq Al-Hijjawi, near the roundabout of the village of Deir Sharaf. Also, in the village of Barqa, a fence was stolen from the house of the citizen: Nizar Saif.
1. At 16:35, the occupation forces set up a checkpoint at the western entrance to Kafr Al-Dik town, to search vehicles and verify citizens' identities until 17:10.
2. At 21:10, the occupation forces set up a checkpoint at the northern entrance to the city of Salfit, to search vehicles and verify citizens' identities.
At 15:00, the occupation forces set up a checkpoint at the northern entrance to the city of Jericho, to search vehicles and verify citizens' identities until 17:40.
At 19:30, the occupation forces positioned at a military checkpoint detained the citizen: Amir Hamidat - a resident of Aqabat Jaber camp, in the city of Jericho.
At 11:40, the occupation forces positioned near the Aqabat Jaber camp in the city of Jericho fired live ammunition, rubber-coated metal bullets, stun grenades, and tear gas canisters towards citizens for alleged stoning.
1. At 19:45, the occupation forces set up a checkpoint in the Aqabat Hasna area (on the main road leading to the western villages in the Bethlehem governorate), to search vehicles and verify citizens' identities until 20:30.
2. At 21:55, the occupation forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance to the village of Al-Minya, south of the town of Teqou', to search vehicles and verify citizens' identities until 21:15.
At 22:45, the occupation forces positioned at the western entrance to the village of Husan detained the citizen: Osama Mahmoud Abdel Aziz Shusha - a resident of the village of Husan.
On the evening of 01/07/2023, the occupation forces closed the eastern and western entrances to the village of Husan, to traffic, and reopened them later.
At 16:55, a group of settlers stormed the agricultural lands of the citizens in the eastern side of the Khalayel Al-Louz area, and assaulted 2 citizens: Thamina Ali Abayat and Faris Abed Abayat leaving them hospitalized with contusions
At 15:20, the occupation forces set up a checkpoint at the eastern entrance to Hebron, to search vehicles and verify citizens' identities.
At 02:00, the occupation forces raided the city of Hebron, and arrested 2 Security Force Officers (brothers - from the Palestinian Presidential Guard and the Palestinian General Intelligence).
At 11:35, a settler stormed Al-Ka'abneh - Al-Zuwaidin area, east of the town of Yatta and installed 4 mobile homes (caravans) on an area of 10 dunums in an attempt to seize it during which the occupation forces stormed the area and fired stun grenades and tear gas towards citizens who attempted to prevent the settler attack and as a result injured 2 citizens who were struck with stun grenades canisters n the foot, and they were subsequently taken to the hospital for treatment, and a number of citizens suffered suffocation due to tear gas inhalation, and 2 citizens were detained.
1. The two detainees in the city of Hebron are: Al-Askari - Fadi Othman Fayez Al-Nazir, and Al-Askari - Firas Othman Fayez Al-Nazir.
2. The two detainees in the Al-Ka'abneh area - Al-Zuwaidin, east of the town of Yatta, are: Hassan Sweilem Al-Basaita and A'b Al-Rahman Al-Basaita.
1. At 11:35, the occupation forces fired stun grenades and tear gas at the citizens, in the Al-Ka'abneh - Al-Zuwaidin area, east of the town, as they tried to confront a settler after he installed 4 mobile homes (caravans) on an area of 10 dunums in An attempt to seize it. As a result, 2 civilians were wounded by stun grenades in the foot. They were subsequently taken to the hospital for treatment, and a number of civilians suffocated due to tear gas inhalation.
2. At 21:00, the occupation forces positioned near the entrance of the town of Beit Ummar fired live ammunition, rubber-coated metal bullets, stun grenades, and tear gas canisters towards demonstrating citizens who were demanding the recovery of the bodies of the martyrs, who were being held by the occupation forces for alleged stoning and as a result injured 2 citizens who were subsequently transferred to the government hospital in Hebron for treatment.
1. Two unidentified civilians were injured during clashes with the occupation forces in the Al-Ka'abneh - Al-Zuwaidin area, east of the town of Yatta.
2. The two civilians: Muhammad Munther Sabarneh and Hassan Walid Masif were injured during clashes with the occupation forces near the entrance to the town of Beit Ummar.
At 18:15,, the citizen: Suhaib Jamil Al-Ja'beh, was admitted to the government hospital in the town of Dura as a result of his injuries sustained after he was assaulted and severely beaten by the occupation forces near the "Ngohot" settlement.
• At 02:00 on 05/21/ 2021, the comprehensive ceasefire entered into force at the initiative and sponsorship of the Arab Republic of Egypt.
• On the morning of 07/30/ 2021, the Israeli occupation forces allowed the expansion of the marine fishing area from 9 nautical miles to 12 nautical miles.
• The occupation forces violated the ceasefire agreement by firing from their positions on the Green Line in the central and Khan Yunis governorates, and by gunboats shooting at fishermen's boats at sea in the northern Gaza governorate.

On the morning of 01/07/2023, Israeli gunboats opened fire towards the fishermen's boat while they were chasing it at sea off the shore of the Al-Sudaniyya area, west of the town of Beit Lahiya.
* Al-Muntar-Karni crossing: closed since 02/03/2011, permanently and by a unilateral Israeli decision.
* Shejaiya Crossing - “Nahal Oz” for fuel: closed since 04. 01. 2010, by unilateral Israeli decision.
At noon on 01/07/2023, the occupation forces opened fire and launched tear gas canisters from their positions on the Green Line, towards a number of citizens near the border fence, east of Al-Bureij camp.
At noon on 01/07/2023, the occupation forces fired tear gas canisters from their positions on the Green Line, towards a sewage vehicle, east of the town of Khuza'a, east of Khan Yunis.
