WEST BANK

JERUSALEM

Military Checkpoints

On the morning of 03/15/2023, the occupation forces closed the Jaba checkpoint and impeded traffic.

Raid

1. At 04:00 on 03/15/2023, the occupation forces raided the town of Hizma, and conducted patrols until 06:00.
2. At 03:00, the occupation forces raided the town of Bir Nabala, and patrolled until 05:00.
3. At 03:00, the occupation forces raided the town of Al-Sawahra, and patrolled until 05:00.

Detention

On the evening of 03/15/2023, the occupation forces positioned near the Lions' Gate in the Old City of Jerusalem, detained the citizen: Khadija Khwais - a resident of Jerusalem, while she was entering Al-Aqsa Mosque.

Obstruction of Places of Worship

At 08:00, groups of extremist settlers, under the protection of the occupation police, stormed the courtyards of Al-Aqsa Mosque, and conducted provocative tours of its courtyards and facilities.

RAMALLAH & AL BIREH

Flying Checkpoints

At 17:40, the occupation forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance to the village of Kafr Malik, to search vehicles and verify citizens' identities.

Raid

1. At 02:50, the occupation forces raided the city of Ramallah, and conducted patrols until 05:00.
2. At 03:30, the occupation forces raided the town of Ni'lin, clashed with the citizens as they stormed and searched a number of homes, and withdrew at 06:35.

Attack

At 03:30, the occupation forces fired stun grenades and tear gas canisters towards citizens for alleged stoning as they stormed and searched a number of homes during the raid into the town of Ni'lin.

House Demolition

At 03:30, the occupation forces demolished a 240-square-meter house (under construction) in the village of Deir Ammar, owned by the citizen: Omar Al-Ghazzawi, under the pretext of not having a permit.

Settlers Attacks

At 16:55, a group of settlers from the "Kokhav Hashahar" settlement, located east of the village of Deir Jarir, attacked the tent of the citizen: Sadiq Farakhneh, and beat him and his family near the village of Deir Jarir, and stole 30 sheep and a donkey.

JENIN

Raid

1. At 14:40, the occupation forces raided the village of Ta'anak, and conducted a patrol.
2. At 03:15, the occupation forces raided the city of Jenin and the towns of Al-Yamoun, Silat Al-Harithiya, Qabatiya and Arraba, and detained 5 citizens in the city.

Detention

The 5 detainees in the city of Jenin are: Helmy Muti` Kayed Khader, Aws Rabih Khader Abu Al-Wafa, Muhammad Rabih Khader Abu Al-Wafa, Dawood Muhammad Suleiman Nassar, and Suleiman Muhammad Suleiman Nassar.

TULKAREM

Raid

1. At 11:50, the occupation forces raided the Shweika suburb of Tulkarm, and patrolled until 15:15.
2. At 20:20, the occupation forces raided the town of Zeita, and patrolled until 20:50.

QALQILIYA

Raid

At 01:30, the occupation forces raided the city of Qalqilya, and conducted a patrol.

Attack

At 20:15, the occupation forces positioned near the entrance to the town of Azzun fired stun grenades and tear gas canisters towards citizens for alleged stoning.

NABLUS

Military Checkpoints

At 22:50, the occupation forces tightened their measures at the Huwwara checkpoint, obstructing traffic.

Flying Checkpoints

At 10:00, the occupation forces set up a checkpoint in the area between the villages of Urif and Asira al-Qibliya, to search vehicles and verify citizens' identities.

Raid

1. At 11:15, the occupation forces raided the village of Yatma, and conducted a patrol.
2. At 12:35, the occupation forces raided the village of Deir Al-Hatab, and conducted a patrol.
3. At 13:00, the occupation forces raided the villages of Deir Sharaf and Qusin, and conducted a patrol.
4. At 15:00, the occupation forces raided the village of Kafr Qalil, and conducted a patrol.
5. At 16:10, the occupation forces raided the villages of Sebastia and Awarta, and conducted a patrol.
6. At 18:55, the occupation forces raided Salem village, and conducted patrols until 20:30.
7. At 20:00, the occupation forces raided the villages of Tal Surra, and patrolled until 05:00.
8. At 22:45, the occupation forces raided the city of Nablus, clashed with the citizens while they were accompanying a group of settlers during their visit (Joseph's Tomb), and as a result injured 4 citizens, and left 52 citizens suffocated due to tear gas inhalation, and withdrew at 05:30.
9. At 05:50, the occupation forces raided the town of Qusra, and conducted a patrol.
10. At 06:35, the occupation forces raided the villages of Salem and Awarta, and conducted a patrol.

Attack

At 22:45, , the occupation forces fired live ammunition and rubber coated metal bullets , stun grenades and tear gas canisters towards citizens, for alleged shooting and stoning, as they were accompanying a group of settlers to visit (Joseph's Tomb),during their raid into Nablus and as a result injured 4 citizens and left 52 civilians suffocated due to tear gas inhalation.

Injuries

4 unidentified civilians including Kamal Abu Muslim and Montaser Antar were injured during clashes with the occupation forces in the city of Nablus.

SALFIT

Raid

1. At 11:00, the occupation forces raided the town of Qarawat Bani Hassan, clashed with the citizens, while they were on patrol, and withdrew at 15:20.
2. At 21:10, the occupation forces raided the village of Yasuf, and patrolled until 05:45.
3. At 05:45, the the occupation forces raided the town of Kafr Al-Dik, and patrolled until 06:50.

Attack

At 11:00, the occupation forces fired stun grenades and tear gas canisters toward citizens, for alleged stoning, while they were on patrol during the raid into the town of Qarawat Bani Hassan.

Closure of main Roads

At 09:55, the occupation forces closed the eastern entrance to the village of Marda, and reopened it at a later time.

Settlers Attacks

At 15:10, a group of settlers stormed the agricultural lands of the citizens in the Bir Abu Ammar area, near the town of Qarawat Bani Hassan, and assaulted 2 of the farmers, namely: Muhammad Ahmed Assi and Ali Mahmoud Asi.

JERICHO

Detention

On 03/15/2023, the occupation forces detained the citizen: Najeeb Muhammad Ismail Abu Qatam - resident of Aqabat Jaber camp, in the city of Jericho.

BETHLEHEM

Military Checkpoints

At 15:20, the occupation forces tightened their procedures at Al-Container checkpoint, and impeded traffic.

Flying Checkpoints

At 10:55, the occupation forces set up a checkpoint at the southern entrance to the town of Nahalin, to search vehicles and verify citizens' identities until 13:00.

Raid

At 03:15, the occupation forces raided the cities of Bethlehem, Beit Jala, and the town of Doha, and detained a citizen in the city of Beit Jala, then withdrew at 06:10.

Detention

1. At 12:30, the occupation forces detained the citizen: Muhammad Ayman Kanaan, while he was visiting the Israeli intelligence, based on a prior notification.
2. The detainee in the city of Beit Jala is: Noureddine Yasser Jawarish.

Attack

At 20:25, the occupation forces positioned near the entrance to the village of Husan, fired live ammunition , rubber-coated metal bullets, stun grenades, and tear gas canisters towards citizens for alleged stoning and as a result injured a citizen.

Injuries

The civilian: Alaa Tariq Hamamra was injured during clashes with the occupation forces near the entrance to the village of Husan.

HEBRON

Flying Checkpoints

1. At 17:00, the occupation forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance to the town of Ithna, to search vehicles and verify citizens' identities.
2. At 19:50, the occupation forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance to Al-Arroub camp, to search vehicles and verify citizens' identities until 19:55.

Raid

1. At dawn on 03/15/2023, the occupation forces raided Al-Aroub camp, and detained a citizen.
2. At 05:40, the occupation forces raided the town of Tarqumiya, and patrolled until 06:25.

Detention

1. At 00:50 on 03/15/2023, the occupation forces detained, the citizen: Zuhdi Fadl Abido, during their raid into the town of Bani Naim (as mentioned in the previous report).
2. On 03/15/2023, the occupation forces detained the university student: Yassin Jawad Al-Halman in Hebron
3. The detainee in Al-Arroub camp is: Jabr Wael Fathi Al-Badawi.

GAZA STRIP

ALL DISTRICTS

• At 02:00 on 05/21/ 2021, the comprehensive ceasefire entered into force at the initiative and sponsorship of the Arab Republic of Egypt.
• On the morning of 07/30/ 2021, the Israeli occupation forces allowed the expansion of the marine fishing area from 9 nautical miles to 12 nautical miles.

NORTHERN GAZA

Closure of Crossing Points

* Beit Hanoun crossing - “Erez”: On 03/15/ 2023, it is partially open (for the passage of humanitarian cases, foreign journalists, workers of international humanitarian organizations, merchants, businessmen and travelers through the Al-Karama Crossing “Allenby” - previously coordinated for them).

GAZA

Closure of Crossing Points

* Al-Muntar-Karni crossing: closed since 02/03/2011, permanently and by a unilateral Israeli decision.
* Shejaiya Crossing - “Nahal Oz” for fuel: closed since 04. 01. 2010, by unilateral Israeli decision.

CENTRAL GAZA

Detention

At noon on 03/15/2023, the occupation forces detained 5 unidentified citizens in east of Al-Bureij camp while they were trying to infiltrate through the border fence into Israel.

RAFAH

Closure of Crossing Points

* Yasser Arafat International Airport: closed.
* Sofa crossing: closed.
* Kerem Shalom - Kerem Shalom Crossing: On 03/15/ 2022, it is partially open (for the entry of limited quantities of fuel and fuel for the power plant, fodder, foodstuffs, and medical materials).
* Al-Awda- Rafah crossing: On 03/15/ 2022 is open in both directions (for citizens to leave and enter).
