WEST BANK

ALL DISTRICTS

Closure

• At 24:00 on 10/31/2022, the Israeli occupation forces imposed a complete closure on the West Bank governorates, preventing citizens and workers, including permit holders, from entering Jerusalem and Israel, with the exception of diplomatic and international missions, humanitarian cases, and emergency medical cases after prior coordination, under the guise of elections. The Israeli Knesset is scheduled to meet on 11/01/2022, till 24:00 on 11/01/2022.

JERUSALEM

Military Checkpoints

At 17:00, the Israeli occupation forces tightened their procedures at Jaba' checkpoint, and obstructed traffic.

Detention

1. On 10/30/ 2022, the Israeli occupation forces detained the citizen: Muhammad Sheikh Ali - residents of Shuafat camp in Jerusalem.
2. On 10/31/ 2022, the Israeli occupation forces detained 2 citizens (a citizen and his son) : Khaled Sharifa and his son Majd in the Old City of Jerusalem.

Attack

1. At 15:10, the Israeli occupation forces fired rubber-coated metal bullets, stun and tear gas canisters towards citizens for alleged stoning.
2. At 19:30, the Israeli occupation forces fired rubber-coated metal bullets, stun and tear gas canisters towards citizens for alleged stoning.

Closure of main Roads

On the evening of 10/31/ 2022, the Israeli occupation forces closed the northern and southern entrances to the town of Hizma, to traffic, and reopened them later.

Obstruction of Places of Worship

At 08:00, groups of extremist Israeli settlers, under the protection of the Israeli occupation police, stormed the courtyards of Al-Aqsa Mosque, and made provocative tours of its courtyards and facilities.

RAMALLAH & AL BIREH

Military Checkpoints

At 10:00, the Israeli occupation forces tightened their procedures at the "Mahkamah" checkpoint, which is located near the settlement of "Beit El", north of the city of Al-Bireh, and obstructed traffic.

Flying Checkpoints

1. At 10:50, the Israeli occupation forces set up a checkpoint at the western entrance to the village of Al-Mughayer, to search vehicles and check the identities of the citizens.
2. At 20:10, the Israeli occupation forces set up a checkpoint at the junction of Wadi El-Delb road near Ras Karkar village, to search vehicles and check the identities of the citizens.
3. At 21:50, the Israeli occupation forces set up a checkpoint at the eastern entrance to the town of Al-Taybeh (on the Al-Maar’at road connecting Ramallah and Jericho governorates), to search vehicles and check the identities of the citizens.

Raid

1. At 05:40, the Israeli occupation forces raided the town of Deir Ghassaneh, and detained a citizen.
2. At dawn on 11/01/ 2022, the Israeli occupation forces raided the village of Arora, and detained a citizen.

Detention

1. The detainee in Deir Ghasana is: Muhammad Jamal Shuaibi.
2. The detainee in the village of Arora is: Muhammad Al-Khasib.

Settlers Attacks

1. At 17:35, a group of Israeli settlers was near the junction of the "Halamish" settlement, and threw stones at the vehicles of citizens passing by.
2. At 18:30, a group of Israeli settlers was present in the area between the villages of Ras Karkar and Deir Bzei’, threw stones at vehicles of citizens passing by, and caused material damage to the vehicle of the citizen: Muhammad Jamal Dar Yusef.

JENIN

Raid

At dawn today 11/01/2022, the Israeli occupation forces raided the city of Jenin, and detained a citizen.

Detention

The detainee in the city of Jenin is: Abdullah Fahmy Shaaban.

Settlers Violence

At 20:00, a group of Israeli settlers positioned near the entrance to the ruins of the evacuated "Homash" settlement, and threw stones at the vehicles of citizens passing by.

TUBAS

Raid

At 11:55, the Israeli occupation forces raided the village of Ain al-Bayda in the northern Jordan Valley, detained 2 civilians, and withdrew at 12:45.

Detention

The two detainees in the village of Ain al-Bayda in the northern Jordan Valley are: Raddad Hamed Rizk Daraghmeh, and Yazan Mithqal Muhammad Abdul Karim Fiqha.

TULKAREM

Detention

On 10/30/ 2022, the Israeli occupation forces detained the citizen: Tariq Mutassim Abdel Karim Khalil – a resident of the city of Tulkarm.

QALQILIYA

Raid

At 15:15, the Israeli occupation forces raided the town of Azzoun, clashed with the citizens, while they were on patrol.

Detention

At 03:45 on 10/31/ 2022, the Israeli occupation forces detained (in addition to what was mentioned in the previous report), the citizen: Jibril Jibril during their raid into the city of Qalqilya.

Attack

At 15:15, the Israeli occupation forces fired stun and tear gas canisters towards citizens for alleged stoning during their raid into the town of Azzoun.

NABLUS

Military Checkpoints

At 24:00, the Israeli occupation forces tightened their procedures at the Beit Furik checkpoint, and obstructed traffic.

Flying Checkpoints

At 16:50, the Israeli occupation forces set up a checkpoint on the road between Nablus and Asira al-Shamaliah, to search vehicles and check citizens' identities.

Land Confiscation

On 10/31/2022, the Israeli occupation forces handed over a military order to confiscate 616 dunums of the citizens’ lands belonging to the villages of Qaryut, Al-Sawiya and Al-Lubban Al-Sharqiya, for settlement purposes to expand the “Eli” settlement.

Settlers Attacks

1. At 19:25, a group of Israeli settlers positioned in the vicinity of Hawara Checkpoint, and threw stones at vehicles of citizens passing through the checkpoint.
2. At 21:50, a group of Israeli settlers positioned near the roundabout of the settlement of "Yitzhar", north of Hawara town, and threw stones at vehicles of citizens passing by.
3. On 10/31/ 2022, one of the Israeli settlers of the “Eli” settlement established on the citizens’ lands, seized a plot of land owned by the citizen: Mahmoud Issa Muammar - residents of Qaryut village, destroyed its landmarks and uprooted trees, dug water channels and ponds in it, and surrounded it with a fence in order to seize the area.

JERICHO

Flying Checkpoints

1. At 11:40, the Israeli occupation forces set up a roadblock on the Al-Maarjat road connecting the governorates of Jericho and Ramallah, to search vehicles and check the identities of citizens.
2. At 17:00, the Israeli occupation forces set up a checkpoint near the junction of the "Ma'ale Ephraim" settlement, to search vehicles and check the identities of the citizens.

BETHLEHEM

Flying Checkpoints

1. At 16:20, the Israeli occupation forces set up a checkpoint at the northern entrance to the town of Tekoa, to search vehicles and check the identities of citizens.
2. At 23:20, the Israeli occupation forces set up a checkpoint near the junction of the Nashash area (the southern entrance to the city of Bethlehem), to search vehicles and check the identities of citizens until 01:10.

Closure of main Roads

On the morning of 10/31/ 2022, the Israeli occupation forces closed the eastern and western entrances to the village of Husan, in front of traffic.

HEBRON

Detention

1. At 12:55, the Israeli occupation forces detained the citizen: Mufeed Suleiman Abu Shkhaydam, in the town of Al-Zahiriya.
2. At 15:30, the Israeli occupation forces positioned at the entrance to Al-Shuhada Street in the old city of Hebron,detained citizen: Zamzam Yahya Ismail Al-Qawasmeh, on the pretext that a knife was found in her possession.
3. At 17:00, the Israeli occupation forces positioned in the Ma'in area, east of Yatta detained the citizen: Muhammad Ahmad Al-Hamamdeh.
4. At 21:55, the Israeli occupation forces positioned in the old city of Hebron, detained the citizen: Ezz Jawad Tabakhi.

Attack

1. On the afternoon of 10/ 31/ 2022, the Israeli occupation forces near the entrance to the town of Beit Ummar fired rubber-coated metal bullets, stun and tear gas canisters towards citizens participating in the funeral of a citizen, for alleged stoning, and as a result injured 2 civilians, and left several others suffocated due to inhalation of tear gas.
2. At 14:55, the Israeli occupation forces positioned in Bab Al-Zawiya area in Hebron city, fired live ammunition, rubber-coated metal bullets, and stun and tear gas canisters towards citizens, for alleged stoning and as a result injured a citizen.
3. At 22:00, the Israeli occupation forces positioned near the entrance to Al-Aroub camp, fired rubber-coated metal bullets, stun and tear gas canisters towards citizens for alleged stoning.

Injuries

1. Two unidentified civilians were injured during confrontations with the occupation forces near the entrance to the town of Beit Ummar.
2. The civilian: Muhammad Sadiq Mustafa al-Qawasmeh was injured during confrontations with the occupation forces in the Bab al-Zawiya area in Hebron city.

House Demolition

1. At 09:10, the Israeli occupation forces demolished a house (under construction) owned by Azzam Abdel Aziz Jaber, in the Al-Baq'a area, east of Hebron, under the pretext of not having a license.
2. At 12:20, the Israeli occupation forces demolished a 150-square-meter house (under construction) owned by the citizen: Muhammad Hassan Daoud, in the Umm Lasfa area of Khallet al-Miya town, east of Yatta.

Assaults on Property

On 10/31/2022, the Israeli occupation forces stormed in the Tel Rumeida neighborhood in the old city of Hebron the Center for Resilience and Challenge of the Youth Against Settlements Gathering, located near the “Ramat Yishai” settlement built on the lands of citizens in the neighborhood, and handed a 24-hour notice to close it.

Destruction of Property

On 10/31/ 2022, the Israeli occupation forces bulldozed about 20 olive trees opposite the watchtower located in Wadi Sa’ir, owned by the citizen: Abd Rabbo al-Shalaldeh, with the aim of expanding the settlement road passing through his land.

Settlers Attacks

On 10/31/2022, a group of Israeli settlers from the settlements of “Telem” and “Adora” entered the agricultural lands of the citizens in the Al-Hardash area, east of Tarqumiya town, and uprooted and cut the branches of about 100 olive trees for the citizens: Basem Al-Zabania, Jaber Al-Zabania, and Maher Al-Zabania.

Settlement Activities

On 10/31/2022, the Israeli occupation forces razed an area of the citizens’ lands belonging to the Abu Zahra family in the Ain al-Bayda area, east of Yatta, and began excavation work for new settlement purposes.

GAZA STRIP

ALL DISTRICTS

• At 02:00 on 05/21/ 2021, the comprehensive ceasefire entered into force at the initiative and sponsorship of the Arab Republic of Egypt.
• On the morning of 07/30/ 2021, the Israeli occupation forces allowed the expansion of the marine fishing area from 9 nautical miles to 12 nautical miles.
• The Israeli occupation forces violated the cease-fire agreement by firing from their positions on the Green Line in the Central Governorate and Khan Younis, and by firing at the fishermen's boats while chasing them at sea in the governorates of Gaza and Rafah.

NORTHERN GAZA

Closure of Crossing Points

* Beit Hanoun crossing - “Erez”: On 10/31/ 2022, it is partially open (for the passage of humanitarian cases, foreign journalists, workers of international humanitarian organizations, merchants, businessmen and travelers through the Al-Karama Crossing “Allenby” - previously coordinated for them).

GAZA

Closure of Crossing Points

* Al-Muntar-Karni crossing: closed since 02/03/2011, permanently and by a unilateral Israeli decision.
* Shejaiya Crossing - “Nahal Oz” for fuel: closed since 04. 01. 2010, by unilateral Israeli decision.

Attack

At 05:00 on 11/01/2022, Israeli gunboats fired at the fishermen’s boats while chasing them in the sea off the coast of Gaza City, and detained 4 fishermen, and confiscated two fishing boats on board.

Detention

The 4 fishermen: Zayed Zaki Taroush, Rajab Khaled Abu Ryala, Abd al-Rahman Tawfiq Abu Ryala, and Muhammad Jamal Tolba were detained at sea off the shore of Gaza City.

Confiscation of Property

At 05:00 on 11/01/2022, the Israeli occupation forces confiscated two fishing boats, at sea off the shore of Gaza City, after detaining 4 fishermen on board.

CENTRAL GAZA

Attack

At 08:00 on 10/31/2022, the Israeli occupation forces fired from their positions on the Green Line, towards agricultural lands east of Deir al-Balah.

KHAN YUNIS

Attack

At 06:40 on 11/01/2022, the Israeli occupation forces fired from their positions on the Green Line, towards agricultural lands east of Abasan town, east of Khan Yunis.

RAFAH

Closure of Crossing Points

* Yasser Arafat International Airport: closed.
* Sofa crossing: closed.
* Kerem Shalom - Kerem Shalom Crossing: On 10/31/ 2022, it is partially open (for the entry of limited quantities of fuel and fuel for the power plant, fodder, foodstuffs, and medical materials).
* Al-Awda- Rafah crossing: On 10/31/ 2022 is open in both directions (for citizens to leave and enter).

Attack

At 06:15 on 11/01/2022, Israeli war boats fired at the fishermen's boats while chasing them in the open sea off the shore of Rafah.
