MONTHLY SUMMARY OF ISRAELI VIOLATIONS

The following summary tables and overview of events survey hostile Israeli activities during the period 01 February 2020 to February 29 2020. The report includes a summary table of events, classified by type, throughout the West Bank and Gaza Strip, in addition to a comparative table surveying events over the past three months. The survey is compiled from the Daily Situation Reports of the Palestinian Monitoring Group (PMG) of the Negotiations Affairs Department (NAD) of the Palestine Liberation Organization (PLO). The PMG monitors ground conditions in the West Bank and Gaza Strip, including Israeli and Palestinian violations. The information reported through the PMG process represents data available at the time of distribution only. 

 

Sample of Israeli Violations during the Month of February  2020

  • February 5th 2020, the martyr during confrontations with the occupation forces in the Bab al-Zawiya area in the city of Hebron is: Muhammad Suleiman Tohme Al-Haddad, 17 years old (as a result of being hit by 3 bullets in the chest).
  • February 6th 2020, the martyr during confrontations with the occupation forces while they were demolishing the family home of the Palestinian detainee Ahmad Jamal Al-Qabah in Jenin is: Munthir Khaled Abu Tabikh 19 years (university student) - residents of the town of Burqin.
  • February 6th 2020, police officer Tarek Louai Ahmed Badwan, 25, residents of Azzun town, Qalqilya governorate, was seriously injured (while inside the civilian police headquarters) as a result of gunfire by the occupying forces while demolishing the house of a prisoner's family in Jenin (as reported in the Previous report).
  • February 7th 2020, the martyr during clashes with the occupying forces located at the gate of the apartheid wall near the town of Qaqin is: Badr Nidal Abdul Qadir Nafala, 20 years old (shot in the neck).
  • February 15th 2020: The child who was seriously injured (in the head, which caused his skull fractured and injured the eye) during clashes with the occupying forces near the entrance to the village of Al-Issawiya: 8-year-old Malik Issa.
  • February 17th 2020: , the occupying forces recovered the body of a 53-year-old resident of The Town of Betunia (whom the occupying forces accuse of shooting and wounding a soldier from the Occupation Army near the village of Ras Karkar on 06. 02. 2020) in a valley near the village of Ras Karkar
  • February 20th 2020: The child who was seriously wounded by the shooting of a vehicle carrying 4 children near the village of Beiten is: Muhammad Abdel Majid Muhammad Sarma, 16, from the village of Deir Dibwan.
  • February 21st 2020: The two wounded during confrontations with the occupation forces in the vicinity of the Jaljulia checkpoint, located southeast of the city of Qalqilya, are: Qusai Muhammad Awda, 14, and Amir Akram Owaisi (he was run over by an army vehicle for the occupation forces).
  • February 22nd 2020: The martyr as a result of being shot by the occupation forces near Bab Al-Asbat (one of the gates leading to the Al-Aqsa Mosque) in the Old City of Jerusalem is: Maher Ibrahim Zaatara, 33 years old - residents of the Jabal Al-Mukaber neighborhood of Jerusalem.
  • February 23rd 2020: A tank and a bulldozer of the occupying forces stormed our areas about 50 meters east of Absan A;=Jadida (accompanied by gunfire in the direction of a number of citizens, while they were recovering a wounded and trying to recover the body of a martyr: Mohammad Ali Hussam Al-Na’am (27 years old}{a resident of Khan Yunis camp) near the border fence), and kidnapped the body of the martyr with the teeth of the bulldozer after he stepped it I ate his body and took him to the Israeli side of the border fence.

  • On 04. 02. 2020, the occupation authorities in Jerusalem issued a decision to deport 5 citizens (including 3 women) - residents of the city of Jerusalem, for varying periods ranging between 3 months and 5 months from the Al-Aqsa Mosque, as a condition for their release after they had previously arrested them: Nafisa Khwais - for a period of 4 and a half months, Aya Abu Nab - for a period of 4 and a half months, Ma'ali Eid - for a period of 3 months, Ahmed al-Roken - for a period of 5 months, and Muhammad al-Dakkak - for a period of two and a half months.
  • On 05/02/2020, the Occupation Authorities issued a decision to deport 2 citizens - residents of the Ras al-Amud neighbourhood of Jerusalem, for a week from the Al-Aqsa Mosque, as a condition for their release, namely: Jamil Issa Al-Abbasi and Husam Iyad Al-Abbasi.
  • On 05/02/2020, the occupation authorities in Jerusalem issued a decision to deport the citizen: Areen Al-Za'anin - residents of Wadi al-Joz neighbourhood in Jerusalem, for a week from the Al-Aqsa Mosque, as a condition for his release after he arrested him earlier.
  • On 10. 02. 2020, the occupation authorities in Jerusalem issued a decision to deport the citizen: Shadi Al-Moutour - residents of Jerusalem, for a period of 6 months from the Al-Aqsa Mosque, as a condition for his release after summoning him to investigate the Israeli police station in Jerusalem.
  • On 11. 02. 2020 the occupying authorities in Jerusalem issued a decree to remove the chairman of the Committee for the Care of Islamic Cemeteries at the Islamic Endowments in Jerusalem: Mustafa Abu Zahra - Residents of Jerusalem, for 6 months from al-Aqsa Mosque.
  • On 11. 02. 2020 The occupation authorities in Jerusalem city issued a decree to deport four citizens - residents of Jerusalem, for varying periods of two to six months from al-Aqsa Mosque, as a condition for their release after they were summoned for investigation: Jamil Issa Al Abbasi - for 6 months, Iyad Abbasi - for two months, Saif al-Qawasmi - for 4 months And Arrin za'anin- for 6 months.
  • On the evening of 2.21.2020, The occupation authorities in Jerusalem city issued a decree to remove 5 citizens - residents of Jerusalem, for 15 days from the Al-Aqsa Mosque in addition to bail a third party, as a condition for their release after they had been arrested earlier: Fadl Abu Sneina, Youssef al-Faqih, Saheib Taha, Yaacoub Salameh, and Ibrahim Hab Rumman.
  • On 26. 02. 2020, the occupation authorities in Jerusalem issued a decision to deport the citizen: Ibrahim Ghosheh - residents of the Old City of Jerusalem, and to prevent him from entering the rest of the West Bank for two months in a row.

During the month of February 2020, the Israeli military demolished 13 Palestinian homes and residential tents, which consisted of the following: 

  • On February 4th 2020:  the Israeli occupation forces demolished a 120-square-meter house, owned by Jihad Al-Shawamreh, in the Ashqaria neighborhood of Beit Hanina.
  • On February 6th 2020:  the occupation forces in Jenin the family home of the Palestinian detainee Ahmad Jamal Al-Qabah (for the second time)
  • On February 9th 2020: The occupation authorities in The Jabal Al-Mukaber neighborhood of Jerusalem, al-Masina: Maha al-Debs, were forced to demolish her 70 square meters house, after notifying her earlier, in order to avoid paying heavy fines in the event of the occupation authorities' demolition, on the grounds of non-licensing and that the land was built The house has to be confiscated (without the owners' knowledge).
  • On February 13th 2020: he Israeli occupation forces demolished a house belonging to Iyad Al-Shweiki, in Al-Thawri neighborhood, to build a school belonging to the municipality of the occupation, in the place of the house.
  • On February 13th 2020: Israeli forces demolished in the Jabal Johar area in the Old City of Hebron, (a caravan) used for housing belonging to the citizen: Bilal Alyan Al-Rajabi, on the pretext of not licensing.
  • On February 15th 2020: The occupying forces demolished the village of Al-Jaftlik, (a place) used for housing owned by the citizen: Musa Ka'bana.
  • On February 17th 2020: The occupation authorities in the Jabal al-Mukaber neighborhood of Jerusalem, the citizen, Montaser Salah Shaqirat, were forced to demolish his house himself, after notifying him earlier, in order to avoid paying heavy fines in the event of the demolition by the occupation authorities, on the grounds of non-authorization.
  • On February 18th 2020: The occupation authorities in the Jabal al-Mukaber neighborhood of Jerusalem forced two citizens, Amin Salah Shaqirat and his mother, to demolish their homes themselves, after notifying them earlier, in order to avoid paying heavy fines in the event of the demolition by the occupation authorities, on the grounds of non-authorization.
  • On February 27th 2020: the Israeli occupation forces demolished an 80-square-meter house, owned by Abd al-Qadir Abu Hammad, in the village of Khalat al-Hoor, in the village of Al-Walajah.
  • On February 27th 2020:  the Israeli occupation forces demolished 2 homes (one of them under construction) in Al-Maqsara and Al-Rakez areas, east of Yatta. They were owned by Ahmed Al-Hamamdeh (a house under construction) and Mohammed Hassan Abu Aram, on the pretext of not licensing.
  • On February 28th 2020: the occupation authorities in the Shuafat neighborhood of Jerusalem, citizen: Muhammad Abd al-Salam al-Bashiti, were forced to demolish his home, after notifying him earlier, to avoid paying heavy fines in the event that the occupation authorities carried out the demolition process, on the pretext of not licensing .

  • On February 1st. 2020, the occupation authorities in the city of Jerusalem informed the Jerusalem School, located in the Bab Al-Sahra area (one of the gates leading to the Al-Aqsa Mosque) in the Old City of Jerusalem, of its decision to close it, and that there will be no school hours at the beginning of the next academic year.
  • On February 4th 2020, the occupation forces tried near the northern entrance of Tuqu 'town to storm the male school in the town, on the pretext that they were throwing rocks, as the teaching staff managed to prevent them from storming it, and threatened to storm the school in the event of repeated stone throwing,
  • On 05/02/2020, the Occupation Forces handed over the administration of the Susiya School in the Al-Musafer area, east of Yatta, a notice to stop work on rehabilitating the school's playground.
  • On 19. 02. 2020 The occupying forces confiscated in the village of Susiya, east of yatta town, (Caravan) used as a classroom in the al-Samoud and Al-Da'i school in the village.
  • On February 25th 2020, Israeli forces raided the village of Deir Nizam, the village school, and fired sound and tear gas canisters in its yard, causing a number of students - suffocation due to inhalation of tear gas.

  • On February 14th, 2020, the Israeli occupation forces started building a settlement road linking the settlements of “Eli” and “Shilo”, which are located on the citizens ’lands, south of Nablus, with the settlements established in the Jordan Valley. To the villages of Tilfit, Qaryut, Douma, Al-Mughair, and even the lands of Fasayil village in Jericho Governorate.
  • On the Morning of 18. 02. 2020 the occupying forces carried out dredging work in the citizens' lands of the village of Jalo, with the aim of linking the colony of "Shiloh" and the settlement outpost "Shvut Rachel" together.
  • On 24. 02. 2020, the Israeli occupation authorities issued a public tender for building 1,000 new housing units in the colony of Givat Hamtus, located south of Jerusalem, within the territories occupied in 1967.
  • 0n 25.02.2020, the occupying forces began dredging work in the lands of the citizens east of the town of Hawara, to build a street of teltafifi along a length of about 7 km, and will be captured for the purpose of constructing the street on about 406 dunums of land of 7 towns and villages south of Nablus.
  • On 25. 02. 2020, the Prime Minister of the occupation agreed to build 3,500 settlement units in the "E1" settlement project to expand the "Maale Adumim" settlement located east of Jerusalem within the territories occupied in 1967.
  • On 27. 02. 2020, the Occupation Planning and Building Committee approved a plan to build 1776 housing units (among them 620 housing units in the “Eli” colony and 534 housing units in the “Shafoot Rachel” colony, located in the south of Nablus governorate within the occupied territories in 1967.

  • On February 11th, 2020, the occupation forces in Khulat Al-Jamea, located between the town of Buroqin and the village of Haris, continued to raze areas of an area of approximately 370 dunums (of which 250 dunums belonged to the Islamic Waqf, and 120 dunums belonged to the family of the citizen: Omar Abdel-Hafiz Fazaa ), To expand the Ariel industrial colony to establish new Israeli factories.

Arrests

During the month of February 2020, the Israeli military arrested 435 Palestinians (431 in the West Bank and 4 in the Gaza Strip). The majority of arrests took place in the districts of Jerusalem (113); Ramallah (44); Jenin (29); Tubas (4); Tulkarem (10); Qalqiliya (32); Nablus (32); Salfit (15); Jericho (16); Bethlehem (36); Hebron (100),North Gaza (1), Khan Yunis (2) and  Rafah (1). Among those arrested by the Israeli military were 59 children, 3 women, 4 University students, 2 Journalist and 3 Security Force Officers.

Closure

Especially on Fridays, the Israeli military continues to intensify restrictions at checkpoints located at the entrances of Jerusalem, and to restrict entrance to the Al Aqsa Mosque compound in the old city of Jerusalem, preventing worshippers from accessing the Mosque. At the Qalandiya checkpoint north of Jerusalem, the Israeli military continues to prevent PNA registered civilian vehicles from crossing the checkpoint towards Ar Ram and Qalandiya as well as Dahiyat al Bareed. The checkpoint is overcrowded daily, particularly during rush hours, due to intensified restrictions and search measures applied by Israeli troops. During the month of February 2020,he Israeli military also continued to intensify restrictions at the Tayasir checkpoint and Al Hamra junction checkpoint leading to the Jordan Valley area, only allowing access to civilians whose IDs indicate District of Jericho residence or others holding special access permits. In addition, restrictions were intensified and civilian access was obstructed at the Za’tara junction checkpoint (separating the northern and central West Bank districts) as well as at the As Sawahira ash Sharqiya (the ‘Container’) checkpoint (separating the central and southern West Bank districts).

The Israeli military installed 319 flying checkpoints in January 2020 (317 in January 2020 compared with 340 in December and as a result restricted the free access and movement of residents, merchant supplies and agricultural goods.

Raids

The Israeli military carried out a total of 380 raids in Palestinian residential areas during the month of February 2020, including 375 in the West Bank and 5 in the Gaza Strip. The majority of Israeli military raids were reported to have taken place in the districts of Jerusalem (47); Ramallah (56); Jenin (32); Tubas (8); Tulkarem (20); Qalqiliya (22); Nablus (45); Salfit (11); Jericho (9); Bethlehem (51); Hebron (74), North Gaza (1), Central Gaza (1) and Khan Yunis (3)

 

Attacks

A total of 426 attacks were reported to have taken place during the month of February 2020 (261 in the West Bank and 165 in the Gaza Strip).

The Israeli military carried out 109 attacks from Israeli military post on civilian homes and property, 198 from Military checkpoints towards Palestinian residents and vehicle and 63 during raids into Civilian populated areas. In addition, Israeli navy vessels carried out 20 attacks on Palestinian fishermen and territory and 36 from air strikes.

Attacks on residential areas in West Bank and Gaza districts

 

Home Demolition

During the month of February 2020, the Israeli military demolished 13 Palestinian homes and residential tents, which consisted of the following: 

  • On February 4th 2020:  the Israeli occupation forces demolished a 120-square-meter house, owned by Jihad Al-Shawamreh, in the Ashqaria neighborhood of Beit Hanina.
  • On February 6th 2020:  the occupation forces in Jenin the family home of the Palestinian detainee Ahmad Jamal Al-Qabah (for the second time)
  • On February 9th 2020: The occupation authorities in The Jabal Al-Mukaber neighborhood of Jerusalem, al-Masina: Maha al-Debs, were forced to demolish her 70 square meters house, after notifying her earlier, in order to avoid paying heavy fines in the event of the occupation authorities' demolition, on the grounds of non-licensing and that the land was built The house has to be confiscated (without the owners' knowledge).

  • On February 17th 2020: The occupation authorities in the Jabal al-Mukaber neighborhood of Jerusalem, the citizen, Montaser Salah Shaqirat, were forced to demolish his house himself, after notifying him earlier, in order to avoid paying heavy fines in the event of the demolition by the occupation authorities, on the grounds of non-authorization.
  • On February 18th 2020: The occupation authorities in the Jabal al-Mukaber neighborhood of Jerusalem forced two citizens, Amin Salah Shaqirat and his mother, to demolish their homes themselves, after notifying them earlier, in order to avoid paying heavy fines in the event of the demolition by the occupation authorities, on the grounds of non-authorization.
  • On February 27th 2020: the Israeli occupation forces demolished an 80-square-meter house, owned by Abd al-Qadir Abu Hammad, in the village of Khalat al-Hoor, in the village of Al-Walajah.
  • On February 27th 2020:  the Israeli occupation forces demolished 2 homes (one of them under construction) in Al-Maqsara and Al-Rakez areas, east of Yatta. They were owned by Ahmed Al-Hamamdeh (a house under construction) and Mohammed Hassan Abu Aram, on the pretext of not licensing.
  • On February 28th 2020: the occupation authorities in the Shuafat neighborhood of Jerusalem, citizen: Muhammad Abd al-Salam al-Bashiti, were forced to demolish his home, after notifying him earlier, to avoid paying heavy fines in the event that the occupation authorities carried out the demolition process, on the pretext of not licensing .

Jerusalem:

  • February 4th 2020, the Israeli occupation forces demolished a concrete wall in the village of Tire Baher, under the pretext of not licensing.
  • February 4th 2020, the Israeli occupation forces demolished a cement retaining wall belonging to the citizen: Ibrahim Awad Abu Sarhan, and the foundations of a house belonging to the citizen: Ismail Qara’in (with special needs), under the pretext of not being licensed.
  • On the evening of 06. 02. 2020, the occupation forces stormed the Bishop School Hall in Jerusalem, and suspended a decision to prevent the signing of the strategic partnership memorandum between the Jerusalem Endowment Fund and the YMCA, and forced the participants in the ceremony to leave the hall, and also called for the investigation of 3 citizens: Bishop - Atallah Hanna, Rasim Obeidat (specialist in Jerusalem affairs, and Simon Cuba (Chairman of the YMCA in Jerusalem).
  • On February 12, 2020, the occupation forces prevented,, the holding of a festival in solidarity with those excluded from the Al-Aqsa Mosque, and in rejection of the "deal of the century", in Shuafat refugee camp, Jerusalem and expelled the 250-strong arms present, led by Sheikh Ikrima Sabrin
  • On February 14th 2020, part of a house in the area of Qanatir Khudair in the Old City of Jerusalem collapsed, owned by Citizen: Zahir Al-Sharabati, due to the excavations carried out by the occupation authorities.
  • At dawn on 19. 02. 2020 the occupying forces in the Old City of Jerusalem closed a bakery belonging to the citizen Nasser Abu Sneina, under the pretext of distributing cakes free of charge to worshippers coming to the Al-Aqsa Mosque.
  • On February 18th 2020, Israeli authorities in Jabal Al-Mukabbir neighbourhood in the city of Jerusalem demolished a livestock den {for horses} an Absorption pit owned by Ahmad Warad Al-Za'ater under the pretex of non-licencing.
  • On 26. 02. 2020, the occupation forces in the Sheikh Jarrah neighbourhood of Jerusalem delivered notifications to vacate two plots of land consisting of a car wash and a bus stop, and gave the owners 48 hours to implement the decision

RAMALLAH & AL BIREH:

Tubas:

  • February 4th 2020, the occupation forces in Bardala village, in the northern Jordan Valley, closed 3 water holes and destroyed 700 meters of pipes carrying water. The damage is estimated at more than 14,000 shekels.
  • February 11th 2020, the occupation forces in Homs Al-Tahta area in the northern Jordan Valley, issued a notice to stop work on building 4 facilities owned by Mohammed Hayel Bisharat, on the pretext of not licensing.
  • February 16th 2020, the occupying forces in the Burj area in the northern Jordan Valley expelled a number of citizens while grazing their sheep in the pastoral area.

Bethlehem:

  • February 1st 2020, the occupation forces prevented workers from constructing a new school (under construction) from completing excavation work to build the school in the village, in the village of Kisan, south of Tuqu ', on the pretext of not being licensed and located in the classified area (C) under Israeli control.

Hebron:

Confiscation of Property:

Jerusalem:

  • On 09. 02. 2020 The occupying forces in Jerusalem froze the bank accounts of 9 prisoners - residents of Jerusalem city (under the pretext of receiving monthly salaries from the Palestinian National Authority) namely: Ihab Bekirat - 60,200 Shekels, Mohammed Hamad - 37,600 Shekels, Malik Salman - $12,400, Wissam Castero - 21,400 Shekels, Naji Odeh - 17,000 Shekels, Basil Abu Tayeh - 46,000 Shekels, Magdi Abbasi 19,800 Shekels, Amir Farroukh - 18,700 Shekels, and Khaled Jayyusi - 37,800 Shekels.
  •  At dawn on 10. 02. 2020 The occupying forces in the village of Sour Baher and The Silwan neighborhood of Jerusalem confiscated money and a private vehicle from 4 freed prisoners after raiding and searching their homes (under the pretext of receiving monthly salaries from the Palestinian National Authority) and: Magdi Al-Abbasi - confiscated 25,000 shekels from him, Naji Odeh - confiscated 1,000 cheques from him For, Basel Abu Tayeh - confiscated 790 shekels from him, Ihab Bekirat - confiscated a private vehicle belonging to his father.

  • On 17. 02. 2020 the occupying forces in the town of Beit Hanina confiscated 4 computers during the raid and search of the headquarters of the Association (Volunteer for Hope), and the president of the association, Sylvia Abu Laban, handed over a notice to review the Israeli intelligence.

Ramallah:

  • At dawn on February 05, 2020, during the storming of Jalazoun camp, the Israeli occupation forces confiscated two computers and a cell phone from the citizen’s house: Jalal Orabi Nakhleh.

 Settlement Activity:

  • On February 14th, 2020, the Israeli occupation forces started building a settlement road linking the settlements of “Eli” and “Shilo”, which are located on the citizens ’lands, south of Nablus, with the settlements established in the Jordan Valley.   • On 24. 02. 2020, the Israeli occupation authorities issued a public tender for building 1,000 new housing units in the colony of Givat Hamtus, located south of Jerusalem, within the territories occupied in 1967.
  • 0n 25.02.2020, the occupying forces began dredging work in the lands of the citizens east of the town of Hawara, to build a street of teltafifi along a length of about 7 km, and will be captured for the purpose of constructing the street on about 406 dunums of land of 7 towns and villages south of Nablus.
  • On 25. 02. 2020, the Prime Minister of the occupation agreed to build 3,500 settlement units in the "E1" settlement project to expand the "Maale Adumim" settlement located east of Jerusalem within the territories occupied in 1967.
  • On 27. 02. 2020, the Occupation Planning and Building Committee approved a plan to build 1776 housing units (among them 620 housing units in the “Eli” colony and 534 housing units in the “Shafoot Rachel” colony, located in the south of Nablus governorate within the occupied territories in 1967.

Settler Violence:

Jerusalem:

  • On February 14th 2020, a group of armed settlers stormed the Bedouin community in Jabal Al-Baba area, east of Al-Eizariya town, and they provoked and intimidated citizens

Ramallah &Al-Bireh:

  • On February 15th 2020, a group of settlers, under the protection of the occupying forces, entered the Marj Arzel area of The Town of Sanjal and tried to attack a number of farmers.
  • On February 16th 2020,  a group of settlers entered the agricultural land of the citizens east of the village of Al-Magair, under the pretext of searching for missing sheep.
  • On February 16th 2020, a group of settlers stormed the village of Al-Magair, severely beating four citizens, resulting in bruises: Muhannad Ali al-Rams, Hassan Suleiman Abu al-Kasbash, Yahya Hassan Abu al-Qabash, and Ahmed Abdullah Abu Alia.
  • On February 21st 2020, a group of settlers from the settlement of Beit El threw stones at the cars of citizens passing along the main road along the colony leading to the Jalazon refugee camp.

Tubas:

  • On February 15th   2020, a group of settlers were present near the Shafi Shamron settlement junction, and stones were thrown at citizens' vehicles.
  • On February 27th   2020, a group of settlers placed billboards at the entrances to a number of Palestinian cities, towns and villages, indicating that they were part of the Palestinian state according to the "Deal of the Century").

Jericho:

  • On February 17th   2020, a group of settlers blocked the agricultural road in al-Shuweika area, east of the town of Al-Dhahiriya, with rocks and dust, to prevent citizens from reaching their land near the settlement of "Shamaa".
  • On February 22nd   2020, a group of settlers in the "Hafat Ma'on" settlement, located in the east of Yatta, attacked a number of citizens while grazing their livestock in the pastoral lands near the village of Al-Tuwani, located east of Yatta.
  • On February 24th   2020, a group of armed settlers from the Ramat Yishai settlement in the Tel Rumeida neighborhood in the Old City of Hebron prevented workers from the Hebron Rehabilitation Committee from rehabilitating the wall of a house belonging to the family: Abu Aisha.
  • On February 24th   2020, a group of "Shama" settlers located on the lands of the citizens south of the town of Dhahria threw stones at a number of farmers and sheepherders while they were in their lands belonging to the village of Shweikeh. Closure of Crossing Points

The Israeli military completely closed crossing points into the Gaza Strip, including access points within the Green Line, on 142 occasions during the month of February 2020. The Israeli military closed crossing points within the Green Line on 104 occasions. It opened Beit Hanun (Erez) Crossing for 23 days for previously-coordinated humanitarian cases and foreign nationals and Karm Abu Salem (Karem Shalom) Crossing for 18 days for transportation of food supplies, humanitarian aid, and cooking gas.
