MONTHLY SUMMARY OF ISRAELI VIOLATIONS

The following summary tables and overview of events survey hostile Israeli activities during the period 01 June 2019 to June 30 2019. The report includes a summary table of events, classified by type, throughout the West Bank and Gaza Strip, in addition to a comparative table surveying events over the past three months. The survey is compiled from the Daily Situation Reports of the Palestinian Monitoring Group (PMG) of the Negotiations Affairs Department (NAD) of the Palestine Liberation Organization (PLO). The PMG monitors ground conditions in the West Bank and Gaza Strip, including Israeli and Palestinian violations. The information reported through the PMG process represents data available at the time of distribution only.

  • June 10th 2019:  Mohammad Subhi Al-Jadelli {36 years old}{a Paramedic}{a resident of Al-Buriej camp} died of critical injuries sustained after Israeli forces opened fire towards demonstrators during the Right of Return march as he was on duty attending to injured residents.
  • June 13th 2019: Israeli forces fired rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents for alleged stoning as they stormed and searched several homes during their raid into Qalqiliya city and as a result injured the child: Mohammad Sa'id Salah {14 years old} .
  • June 14th 2019: Israeli forces positioned at the east entrance of Kafr Qaddum village {which is closed by the Israeli Military} fired rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents {protesting against the continued closure} for alleged stoning and as a result injured 4 residents {including a child} and left several others suffocated from tear gas inhalation.
  • June 19th 2019: Musa Abu Maliya {60 years old}{a resident of Shu'fat camp} died of injuries sustained to to his chest after Israeli forces assaulted him in front of his home approximately 2 weeks ago.
  • June 22nd 2019: Israeli forces positioned at the east entrance of Kafr Qaddum village {which is closed by the Israeli Military} fired rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents {protesting against the continued closure} for alleged stoning and as a result injured 2 children:  Tareq Hikmat {15 years old}, and Ali Amer {14 years old} and left several others suffocated from tear gas inhalation.
  • June 26th 2019:  Israeli forces fired rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents for alleged stoning as they stormed and searched several homes during their raid into Al-Amari camp in Al-Bireh city and as a result injured 3 residents : Nasser Salim Ghaith (as a result of being rammed by an Israeli military jeep), Mohammed Farouk Khaled, and Mohammed Issa Awawdeh 
  • June 27th 2019: Israeli forces fired live ammunition, rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents for alleged stoning during their raid into Al-Eisawiya village and as a result killed Mohammad Samir Obied {20 years old} injured 4 residents {of those identified}: Omar Atita: and left several others suffocated from tear gas inhalation.
  • June 28th 2019: , Israeli forces fired rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents for alleged stoning and as a result injured 37 unidentified residents and left 6 others suffering fractures and contusions after they fell while being chased by Israeli forces and also left 7 others suffocated from tear gas inhalation during their raid into Al-Eisawiya village.
  • June 28th 2019: Israeli forces positioned at the east entrance of Kafr Qaddum village {which is closed by the Israeli Military} fired rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents {protesting against the continued closure} for alleged stoning and as a result injured 3 residents {including a child and a journalist: Caesar Jihad Amer {17 years old},Nidal Salem Shtiya {a journalist} and Abdel Salam Aref Shteiwi } and left several others suffocated from tear gas inhalation.
  • June 28th 2019: Israeli forces positioned behind the Green Line fired live ammunition; rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas canisters towards several demonstrators in east Jabaliya town during the march of return and as a result injured 9 resident and left several others suffocated from tear gas inhalation.
  • June 28th 2019:, Israeli forces positioned behind the Green Line fired live ammunition, rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas canisters towards several demonstrators in east Gaza city during the march of return and as a result injured 12 residents and left several others suffocated from tear gas inhalation.
  • June 28th 2019: Israeli forces positioned behind the Green Line fired live ammunition, rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas canisters towards several demonstrators near east Al- Buriej camp during the march of return and as a result injured 20 residents and left several others suffocated from tear gas inhalation.
  • June 29th 2019: Israeli forces fired rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents for alleged stoning during their raid into Al-Eisawiya village and as a result injured 20 residents and left several others suffocated from tear gas inhalation.
  • June 30th 2019:  a group of Israeli settlers positioned at Al-Shuhada road in the old city of Hebron assaulted a resident using a steel object and as a result left him hospitalized with a bruises and cuts on his arm.

During the Month of June  2019 Israeli courts in Occupied Jerusalem issued the following expulsion orders:

  • June 5th 2019: Israeli authorities in Jerusalem city issued an order banning Basel Abed {a resident of Jerusalem city} from entering Al-Aqsa mosque for a period of 2 weeks as a condition for his release after being detained earlier in the day.
  • June 13th 2019: Israeli authorities in Jerusalem city issued orders banning Mohammad Al-Hadara {a Staff member in the reconstruction committee in the Department of Awqaf} from Al-Aqsa mosque compound for a period of 15 days as a condition for his release after being temporarily detained earlier in the day.
  • June 17th 2019: Israeli authorities in Jerusalem city issued orders banning 7 residents: Muhammad Sharifa, Ahmad Abu al-Hawa, Ayoub Abu al-Hawa, Muhammad Qudu'a, Imad Abu Sneineh, Mohammed al-Shawish and Khalil al-Tarhoun {A security guard at the mosque} from entering Al-Aqsa Mosque compound in the old city of Jerusalem until June 20th 2019 as a condition for their release after being detained at an earlier time.

  2.  On June 10th 2019, Israeli forces served military order {T/9/19} for the confiscation of 4.994 dunums of agricultural land in Azmout and Deir Al-Hatab villages for alleged military proposes.
  3. On June 12th 2019, Israeli forces in Burin village served a military orders to extend the confiscation of 1.5 dunums of land located north of the village for the purpose of paving a road which leads to "Barghat" settlement until December 31st 2021.
  4.  On June 12th 2019, Israeli forces in Assira Al-Qibliya village served a military orders to extend the confiscation of 3.9 dunums and increasing the plot size by 5.5 dunums located near "Yitshar" settlement located east of the village until December 31st 2021.
  5. On June 13th 2019, Israeli forces in the village of Birin, Khallet al-Faran and Ein al-Shinnar located between the city of Hebron and the towns of Bani Na'im and Yatta issued a military order for the confiscation of 4,800 dunums of land for settlement projects to expand the settlement of Bani Hefer, south of Bani Na'im.

During the month of June  2019, the Israeli military demolished 19 Palestinian homes and residential tents, which consisted of the following: 

  • On June 11th 2019, Israeli forces stormed Bi'r Unat area in Beit Jallah city demolished a residential room and 4 livestock dens owned by Mohammad Musa Zarinat for allegedly being built without a license during which they clashed with several residents and as a result injured a resident.
  •  On the morning of June 11th 2019, Israeli authorities in Jerusalem city demolished a home owned by Ahmad Taha Afana located in Sur Baher village for allegedly being built without a license.
  •  On June 11th 2019, Israeli authorities in Jerusalem city demolished an apartment building {consisting of 2 floors} owned by Wissam Daud Jabour located in Sur Baher village for allegedly being built without a license.
  • On the morning of June 11th 2019, Israeli authorities in Jerusalem city forced Hassan Khalil Abu Qaf to demolish his own home located in Sur Baher village for allegedly being built without a license in order to avoid a hefty fine in the event that the Israeli authorities demolished the home.
  • On the morning of June 11th 2019, Israeli authorities in Jerusalem city forced Imran Alqam to demolish his own home located in Shu'fat camp in Jerusalem city for allegedly being built without a license in order to avoid a hefty fine in the event that the Israeli authorities demolished the home.
  • On June 11th 2019Israeli forces demolished a home owned by Mohammad Zaloum located near the outskirts of Jericho city for allegedly being built without a license because of its location in Area C {which is under Israeli Military and Administrative control}.
  • On June 11th 2019,Israeli forces demolished a building consisting of 3 floors {4 apartments and a levelling floor - under construction} owned by Lafi Nayef Ghiniem Al-Rajabi located in Jabal Juhar area in the old city of Hebron because of its location in Area C which is under Israeli Military and Administrative control.
  • On June 12th 2019, Israeli forces demolished a home owned by Khalid Abu Judah located near Qalandiya checkpoint for allegedly being built without a license.
  • On June 12th 2019, Israeli forces demolished 4 residential sheds and a livestock den owned by Alan Izat Bani Odeh, Bakr Bani Odeh, Jamil Bani Odeh and Soliman Bani Odeh in Ras Al-Ahmar area in the North Jordan valley.
  • On the Morning of June 12th 2019, Israeli forces demolished a residential shed owned by Ali Issa Al-Tabanat in Um Al-Khier village located in east Yatta town for allegedly being built without a license.
  • On June 17th 2019, Israeli forces demolished 2 residential structures {built of cement bricks and Tin roofs} owned by Mohammad Ali Jaber Al-Dababsa {which houses 10 of his family members} in Khliat Al-Daba area located in south east Yatta town.
  • On June 17th 2019, Israeli authorities in Jerusalem city forced Hatem Al-Abbasi to demolish his home {2 floor structure under construction} in Silwan neighbourhood in Jerusalem city in order to avoid paying a hefty financial penalty in the event Israeli forces demolish the home for allegedly being built without a license.
  • On June 18th 2019, Israeli forces demolished a home {consisting of 2 floors under construction} owned by Imran Mohammad Alqam in Shu'fat camp in Jerusalem city for allegedly being built without a license.
  • On June 19th 2019, Israeli forces demolished a home {under construction} owned by Shadi Sinokrot in Jericho city for allegedly being built without a license because of its location in area C which is under Israeli Military and Administrative control.
  • On June 24th 2019, Israeli forces demolished a tent owned by Qassim Hamada in Al-Al-Mafqarat area located in south east Yatta town then confiscated it.

  • On June 11th 2019, the Israeli Supreme Court Issued a verdict approving the purchase of 3 properties owned by the Roman Orthadox Church {the Imperial Hotel- consisting of 30 guest rooms, the Petra Hotel-consisting of 12 guest rooms and another building located across from the hotels in Omar Bin Al-Khattab square} located in the old city of Jerusalem in favor of "Ateret Cohanim" settlement Association after rejecting the church's petition.
  • On June 19th 2019, Israeli courts in Jerusalem city issued an order to evacuate the house and neighbouring shops in Silwan neighbourhood in Jerusalem city and to transfer part of the house and shops to the "Elad" settlement, on the pretext of ownership of the property, which are owned by Jawad Siam the courts also decided to have Si'am family share ownership of the property {home and shops} with Israeli settlers.

  • On June 11th 2019, a group of Israeli settlers headed by "Ori Arail" and under the protection of Israeli Military and Police officers stormed Al-Aqsa mosque compound and provoked worshipers.
  • On June 13th 2019, Israeli forces raided Al-Qa'qa mosque in Silwan neighbourhood in Jerusalem city then searched it.
  • On June 27th 2019, Israeli Police requested from the reconstruction committee for Al-Aqsa mosque to remove all umbrellas that relieve the worshipers of the sun, which were installed during the month of Ramadan in the Dome of the Rock, and was informed them not to enter any construction materiel into the mosque except those for removing carpets from the chapel of the door of mercy in the courtyards of Al-Aqsa Mosque.

  • On June 13th 2019The Israeli forces razed areas of land near the town of Sinjil in preparation for the construction of new water lines connecting the settlement outposts of Giv'at Haruah, Giv'at Har'el, Eli settlements, Levona and Shilo "And a military location of the occupation forces - and located on the territory of the town and neighbouring villages.
  • On June 13th 2019, Israeli forces Razed an area of ​​approximately 5.5 dunums of agricultural land belonging to the village of Asira al-Qibliya, with the aim of expanding an army camp in the southern area of ​​the village in 2014.
  •  On June 13th 2019, The settlers were discovered building a new settlement outpost on a plot of land located behind "the Gold Market" area in the Old City of Hebron, as well as to renovate the facilities of the Al-Ja'bari gas station in Al-Shuhada Street in the Old City of Hebron , Where it established two settlement units, as well as the renovation of the facilities of the station and paved the floor tiles and the establishment of a high fence of reeds laid on the perimeter about two weeks ago.

  • On June 17th 2019, Israeli authorities in Jerusalem city approved tenders to launch the names of Jewish rabbis on 5 small streets and alleys in Batn Al Hawa area in the Silwan neighborhood of Jerusalem city.
  • On June 18th 2019, Israeli forces installed a barbed wire fence along a settlement dirt road {which leads to an Israeli Military Post located in Jabal Harzim in Nablus city} located in Al-Muraba' area near the entrance of Tel village which will thus prevent several farmers from accessing their agricultural land in the area.
  • On June 22nd 2019, a group of Israeli settlers from "Arail" settlement leveled a plot of agricultural land located adjacent to Wadi Abdel Rahman in Salfit city, with the aim of building roads and infrastructure and digging foundations for the construction of settlement housing units to expand the settlement.
  • On June 23rd 2019, a group of Israeli settlers stormed Khilat Al-Nahla area located in Wadi Rahal village leveled a plot of land approximately 300 dunums owned by Mohammad Yahya Ayash in order to install a new settlement outpost dubbed "Givat Aytam".
  • On June 27th 2019, Israeli forces leveled land in order to construct a settlement road near the fence surrounding the colony of "Kochav Ya'akov" located east of Kafr Aqab town.
  • On June 30th 2019, Israeli authorities with the participation of United States Ambassador David Friedman and White House Middle East envoy Jason Greenblatt, opened the first section of the tunnel called Path of the Pilgrims, which starts from Al Ain Road to Wadi Hilweh Road in Silwan and is approximately 350 Meters long and 7 meters wide, and will be completed after about a year, to reach the courtyard of the Magharba Gate in the Old City of Jerusalem.

Closure

Especially on Fridays, the Israeli military continues to intensify restrictions at checkpoints located at the entrances of Jerusalem, and to restrict entrance to the Al Aqsa Mosque compound in the old city of Jerusalem, preventing worshippers from accessing the Mosque. At the Qalandiya checkpoint north of Jerusalem, the Israeli military continues to prevent PNA registered civilian vehicles from crossing the checkpoint towards Ar Ram and Qalandiya as well as Dahiyat al Bareed. The checkpoint is overcrowded daily, particularly during rush hours, due to intensified restrictions and search measures applied by Israeli troops. During the month of April  2019  the Israeli military also continued to intensify restrictions at the Tayasir checkpoint and Al Hamra junction checkpoint leading to the Jordan Valley area, only allowing access to civilians whose IDs indicate District of Jericho residence or others holding special access permits. In addition, restrictions were intensified and civilian access was obstructed at the Za’tara junction checkpoint (separating the northern and central West Bank districts) as well as at the As Sawahira ash Sharqiya (the ‘Container’) checkpoint (separating the central and southern West Bank districts).

The Israeli military installed 238 flying checkpoints in June 2019 (compared with 217 in May 2019 and 386 in April 2019) and as a result restricted the free access and movement of residents, merchant supplies and agricultural goods.

The Israeli military set up 238 Flying checkpoints in the month of June 2019 and searched Palestinian civilians and vehicles in and around Palestinian residential areas in the districts of Jerusalem (10); Ramallah (25); Jenin (13), ,Tulkarem (5), Qalqiliya (29); Nablus (21); Salfit (22); Jericho (12); Bethlehem (58) and Hebron (43).

 

 

Raids

The Israeli military carried out a total of 423 raids in Palestinian residential areas during the month of June 2019, including 418 in the West Bank and 5 in the Gaza Strip. The majority of Israeli military raids were reported to have taken place in the districts of Jerusalem (45); Ramallah (50); Jenin (58); Tubas (3); Tulkarem (35); Qalqiliya (29); Nablus (53); Salfit (18); Jericho (7); Bethlehem (46); Hebron (74), North Gaza (1),  Khan Yunis (2) and Rafah (2).

 

Attacks

A total of 163 attacks were reported to have taken place during the month of June 2019 (97 in the West Bank and 66 in the Gaza Strip).

The Israeli military carried out 43 attacks from Israeli military post on civilian homes and property, 56 from Military checkpoints towards Palestinian residents and vehicle and 41 during raids into Civilian populated areas. In addition, Israeli navy vessels carried out 16 attacks on Palestinian fishermen and territory and 7 from air strikes

 

Palestinian Attacks:

During the month of June 2019, Palestinian gunmen broke the ceasefire agreement on 2 occasions by launching projectiles towards the Green Line.

Home Demolition

During the month of June 2019, the Israeli military demolished 19 Palestinian homes and residential tents, which consisted of the following: 

  • On June 11th 2019, Israeli forces stormed Bi'r Unat area in Beit Jallah city demolished a residential room and 4 livestock dens owned by Mohammad Musa Zarinat for allegedly being built without a license during which they clashed with several residents and as a result injured a resident.
  •  On the morning of June 11th 2019, Israeli authorities in Jerusalem city demolished a home owned by Ahmad Taha Afana located in Sur Baher village for allegedly being built without a license.
  •  On June 11th 2019, Israeli authorities in Jerusalem city demolished an apartment building {consisting of 2 floors} owned by Wissam Daud Jabour located in Sur Baher village for allegdly being built without a license.
  • On the morning of June 11th 2019, Israeli authorities in Jerusalem city forced Hassan Khalil Abu Qaf to demolish his own home located in Sur Baher village for allegedly being built without a license in order to avoid a hefty fine in the event that the Israeli authorities demolished the home.
  • On the morning of June 11th 2019, Israeli authorities in Jerusalem city forced Imran Alqam to demolish his own home located in Shu'fat camp in Jerusalem city for allegedly being built without a license in order to avoid a hefty fine in the event that the Israeli authorities demolished the home.
  • On June 11th 2019Israeli forces demolished a home owned by Mohammad Zaloum located near the outskirts of Jericho city for allegedly being built without a license because of its location in Area C {which is under Israeli Military and Administrative control}.
  • On June 11th 2019,Israeli forces demolished a building consisting of 3 floors {4 apartments and a levelling floor - under construction} owned by Lafi Nayef Ghiniem Al-Rajabi located in Jabal Juhar area in the old city of Hebron because of its location in Area C which is under Israeli Military and Administrative control.
  • On June 12th 2019, Israeli forces demolished a home owned by Khalid Abu Judah located near Qalandiya checkpoint for allegedly being built without a license.
  • On June 12th 2019, Israeli forces demolished 4 residential sheds and a livestock den owned by Alan Izat Bani Odeh, Bakr Bani Odeh, Jamil Bani Odeh and Soliman Bani Odeh in Ras Al-Ahmar area in the North Jordan valley.
  • On the Morning of June 12th 2019, Israeli forces demolished a residential shed owned by Ali Issa Al-Tabanat in Um Al-Khier village located in east Yatta town for allegedly being built without a license.
  • On June 17th 2019, Israeli forces demolished 2 residential structures {built of cement bricks and Tin roofs} owned by Mohammad Ali Jaber Al-Dababsa {which houses 10 of his family members} in Khliat Al-Daba area located in south east Yatta town.
  • On June 17th 2019, Israeli authorities in Jerusalem city forced Hatem Al-Abbasi to demolish his home {2 floor structure under construction} in Silwan neighbourhood in Jerusalem city in order to avoid paying a hefty financial penalty in the event Israeli forces demolish the home for allegedly being built without a license.
  • On June 18th 2019, Israeli forces demolished a home {consisting of 2 floors under construction} owned by Imran Mohammad Alqam in Shu'fat camp in Jerusalem city for allegedly being built without a license.
  • On June 19th 2019, Israeli forces demolished a home {under construction} owned by Shadi Sinokrot in Jericho city for allegedly being built without a license because of its location in area C which is under Israeli Military and Administrative control.
  • On June 24th 2019, Israeli forces demolished a tent owned by Qassim Hamada in Al-Al-Mafqarat area located in south east Yatta town then confiscated it.

Jerusalem:

  • On the morning of June 11th 2019, Israeli authorities in Jerusalem city demolished a merchant shop owned by Issam Mohammad Ja'abis in Jabal Al-Mukabir neighbourhood in Jerusalem city for allegedly being built without a license.
  • On June 12th 2019, Israeli forces demolished several merchant shops {made of Aluminium} and removed the shop signs located along the road along the checkpoint until Qalandiya camp.
  • On June 13th 2019, Israeli courts issued orders for the demolition of 15 Apartment buildings {consisting of several apartments} in Wadi Hums area in Sur Baher village for allegedly being near the Separation wall.
  • On June 17th 2019, Israeli forces uprooted several trees in the south west area of Al-Eisawiya village in order to install surveillance cameras in the area.
  • On June 18th 2019, Israeli forces demolished a merchant shop {construction equipment shop} in Jabal Al-Mukabir neighborhood in Jerusalem city for allegedly being built without a license.
  • On the morning of June 26th 2019, Israeli forces demolished a Propane Gas station{under construction} owned by Mohammad Ibrahim Hilweh in Anata town for allegedly being built without a license because of its location in area C then fired stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents who attempted to prevent the demolition.
  • On June 26th 2019, Israeli forces demolished concrete foundations of 2 buildings {under construction} in Wadi Humsa area for allegedly being built without a license.

Tubas:

  • On June 12th 2019, Israeli forces demolished 4 residential sheds and a livestock den owned by Alan Izat Bani Odeh, Bakr Bani Odeh, Jamil Bani Odeh and Soliman Bani Odeh in Ras Al-Ahmar area in the North Jordan valley.
  • On June 12th 2019, Israeli forces demolished water well owned by Mohammad Yusef Dabak located in Al-Aqaba area in east Tubas city.

Tullkarem:

  • On June 26th 2019, Israeli forces demolished an agricultural storage den {under construction} and a water well owned by Nizar Abdel-Raheem Mustafa Al-Ajouli in located in Al-Harayja area in Quffin town.

Nablus:

  • On June 18th 2019, Israeli forces stormed Sha'b Al-Kharab area located in south Qusra village and demolished a storage room owned by Musa Ahmad Hussien Hassan for allegedly being built without a license.

Salfit:

  • On June 23rd 2019, Israeli forces demolished 2 storage dens owned by Tayseer Rushdi Abdallah and a Car Wash owned by Ammer Khalil Abdallah {both are residents of Deir Ballout town} near the entrance of Deir Ballout town for allegedly being built without a license.

Bethlehem:

  • On June 11th 2019, Israeli forces demolished a residential room and 4 livestock dens owned by Mohammad Musa Zarinat for allegedly being built without a license during their raid into Bi'r Unat area in Beit Jallah city.
  • On June 15th 2019, Israeli forces positioned in Irtas village halted the construction of a home {under construction} owned by Ayish Ayish and confiscated a concrete pump owned by "Ghazal " construction company as they were working.
  • On June 16th 2019, Israeli authorities approved the chopping down and uprooting of approximately 2000 Olive trees located near the west entrance of Teqou' town and near the entrance of Al-Mina village and includes the chopping and uprooting of trees along the length of 1600 meters and 50 meters (80 dunums), under the pretext of security reasons.
  • On June 19th 2019, Israeli forces levelled a plot of land and demolished a stone fence owned by Khalil Abu Ni'ma, Omar Al-Qaysi and Jawad Al-Qaysi locate in Al-Khamar area in Beitar village.

Hebron:

  • On the evening of June 5th 2019, Israeli forces stormed Beirin area located in south Bani Na'im town and served a Military order to halt the installation of and confiscate Electrical poles and High voltage power lines, designed to provide the residents of the area with electricity.
  • On June 6th 2019, Israeli forces prevented residents from reaching their agricultural land located near "Sussiya" settlement in Al-Musafar area in east Yatta.
  • On June 12th 2019, Israeli forces demolished a livestock den {under construction} owned by Ahmad Awad Al-Nabatiya and a fence approximately 700 meters long which surround the plot of agricultural land located in Khashim Al-Darj village.
  • On June 19th 2019, Israeli forces demolished 2 agricultural storage dens owned by Khalil Haroub and leveled a plot of agricultural land owned by Shaher Al-Hamawi in Al-Tayba area located in Tarqumiya town

Confiscation of Property:

Jerusalem

  • At dawn in June 25th 2019, Israeli forces confiscated 50000 NIS after storming and searching the home of Mohammad Yusef Shamasna during their raid into Qutna village.

Jenin:

  • On June 20th 2019, Israeli forces confiscated a trash bin owned by Barta'a Al-Sharqiya town municipality.
  • On June 25th 2019, Israeli forces confiscated a tractor and construction equipment {including cement bricks, sand, cement and wire rolls} in Thaher Al-Malah village located behind the separation wall to prevent the construction of the second project of sanitary units and walls of the local school for allegedly being built without a license.

Tulkarem:

  • On June 10th 2019, Israeli forces confiscated a (Caravan) is used for agricultural purposes owned by Al-Dasouqi family located on a plot of land in Khirbeit Jabarat village.
  • On June 14th 2019, Israeli forces confiscated 2 tractors owned by Mohammad Amrana in Quffin town then detained the drivers as they were working on agricultural land.
  • On June 19th 2019, Israeli forces confiscated 4200 NIS after storming and searching the home of Ribhi Amarat during their raid into Tulkarem camp located in Tulkarem city.
  • On June 26th 2019, Israeli forces positioned near "Harmish" settlement confiscated 2 bulldozers owned by Mahmoud Ahmad Nasser Amarna {a resident of Quffin town} as he was working in the area.

Qalqiliya:

  • On June 3rd 2019, , Israeli forces confiscated electronic equipment, surveillance cameras and a cellular telephone after storming the home of Nidal Hissien Harab. during their raid into Qalqiliya city.
  • On June 18th 2019, Israeli forces confiscated several motorcycles and 6 vehicles during their raid into Qalqiliya city.

Jericho:

  • On the evening of June 12th 2019, Israeli forces confiscated a vehicle owned by Anwar Abu Judat in Al-Jiftlik village.

Bethlehem:

  • On June 12th 2019, Israeli forces confiscated a tractor owned by Mohammad Faraj {a resident of Al-Duhishat camp} in Ayda camp in Bethlehem city.
  • On June 26th 2019, Israeli forces confiscated sums of cash from the home of Mohammad Khatib as they detained him during their raid into Al-Ubeidiya town {as mentioned in the previous report}.
  • On June 27th 2019, Israeli forces confiscated 3 livestock dens, an electrical generator and a water pump owned by Nihar Ali Mohammad Rashayda, Farah Hussien Rashayda and Khalid Ahmad Rashayda {all are resident of Al-Rashayda village} in Al-Bahis area located in Za'tara town.
  • On June 30th 2019, Israeli forces positioned in Karm Al-Hadad area in Betar village confiscated a bulldozer as it was constructing a road {which connects Betar village and Al-Makhmour area in Beit Jallah city}.

Hebron:

  • On June 15th 2019, Israeli forces confiscated sums of cash from the home of Abdel-Hameed Abu Jarour during their raid into Bani Na'im town.
  • On June 24th 2019, Israeli forces confiscated a tent owned by Qassim Hamada after demolishing it in Al-Al-Mafqarat area located in south east Yatta town.
  • On June 25th 2019, Israeli forces confiscated a truck and a utility vehicle belonging to Beit Ummar village, while the electricity workers were working on maintaining the electricity network in the Za'tah area within the boundaries of Beit Ummar Municipality.

Settlement Activity:

  • On June 13th 2019The Israeli forces razed areas of land near the town of Sinjil in preparation for the construction of new water lines connecting the settlement outposts of Giv'at Haruah, Giv'at Har'el, Eli settlements, Levona and Shilo "And a military location of the occupation forces - and located on the territory of the town and neighbouring villages.
  • On June 13th 2019, Israeli forces Razed an area of ​​approximately 5.5 dunums of agricultural land belonging to the village of Asira al-Qibliya, with the aim of expanding an army camp in the southern area of ​​the village in 2014.

  • On June 22nd 2019, a group of Israeli settlers from "Arail" settlement leveled a plot of agricultural land located adjacent to Wadi Abdel Rahman in Salfit city, with the aim of building roads and infrastructure and digging foundations for the construction of settlement housing units to expand the settlement.

Ramallah &Al-Bireh:

  • On June 8th 2019, a group of Israeli settlers positioned near Al-Mughayir village assaulted Kamal Abdallah Saud Al-Na'san {a residents of Al-Mughayir village} and as a result left him hospitalized with contusions.
  • On June 13th 2019, an armed Israeli settler from "Halimish" assaulted Rami Mohammad Yahya Al-Tamimi {15 years old}{A special needs patient}{a resident of Deir Intham village} then was forced graze his cows at gunpoint on residential owned land in Deir Nizam village.
  • At dawn on June 17th 2019, a group of Israeli settlers stormed Kafr Malik village, slashed the tires of 4 vehicles and spray painted anti-Arab and racist graffiti on the outer walls of the local mosque in the southern area of the village.
  • On June 17th 2019, a group of Israeli settlers positioned near "Givat Assaf" settlement outpost set fire to agricultural land and several olive and fig trees and grape vines located between Beitin and Burqa villages during which Palestinian Civil defence forces were able to put out the fire.

  • On June 24th 2019, a Israeli settler stormed Wadi Al-Fuwar area located in the North Jordan valley and herded his livestock {approximately 50 goats} on agricultural land planted with wheat crops on 150 dunums of land owned by Ali Zuhdi Abu Muhsien.

Jenin:

  • On June 12th 2019, a group of Israeli settlers positioned near "Homish" settlement junction {which was previously abandoned} stoned vehicles travelling along the main road connecting Jenin and Nablus.
  • On June 14th 2019, a group of Israeli settlers positioned near "Homish" settlement {which was abandoned} located in south Silah Al-Harthiya town set fire to tires along the main road connecting Jenin and Nablus
  • On June 18th 2019, a group of Israeli settlers positioned near "Homish" settlement {which was previously abandoned} located in south Al-Silah Al-Thahr town stoned residents and vehicles traveling along the main road connecting Jenin and Nablus.
  • On June 24th 2019, a group of Israeli settlers from "Shakeed" settlement installed barbed wire and steel fencing around a plot of land located in Thaher Al-Malah area located behind the wall in an attempt to confiscate it.

Nablus:

  • On June 5th 2019, a group of settlers from 'A'ad' Aad and 'Ihya' settlement outposts stormed agricultural land in Jalud village and set fire to and destroyed approximately 400 olive trees before Palestinian Civil defines forces extinguished the fire.
  • On June 7th 2019, a group of Israeli settlers driving a vehicle entered Nablus as they attempted to storm Joseph's Tomb then were chased away by Palestinian Police forces who were guarding the Tomb site.
  • On June 10th 2019, a group of Israeli settlers stormed agricultural land in Burqa village and broke the locks of a water fountain in the village and fled.
  • On June 11th 2019, a group of Israeli settlers from "Yitmar" settlement set fire to a plot of land located near the settlement and as a result expanded to agricultural land in Khirbiet Yanoun village during which Palestinian Civil Defense forces were able to extinguish the fire.
  • At dawn on June 13th 2019, Israeli settler from "Yitshar" settlement raided Einbus village and slashed the tires of 2 vehicles and spray painted Anti-Arab and racist slogans in the walls of a mosque and several homes.
  • On June 17th 2019, a group of Israeli settlers from "Yitshar" settlement stormed Einbuis village and set fire to agricultural land then stoned several homes during which Palestinian Civil defence forces were able to put out the fire.
  • On the afternoon of June 19th 2019, Israeli settlers set fire to several Olive trees in south Madma village.

Salfit:

  • On June 5th 2019,a group of Israeli settlers stormed Yassuf village, stoned the home and vehicle owned by Ibrahim Abiyat and as a result damaged the vehicle.
  • At dawn on June 18th 2019, a group of Israeli settlers stormed Kafil Harris town, slashed the tires of several vehicles and spray painted anti-Arab and racist slogans on the vehicles and several homes.
  • On June 28th 2019,  a group of Israeli settlers positioned near the entrance of Yasuf village stoned vehicles travelling in the area

Bethlehem:

  • On June 6th 2019, a group of Israeli settlers from "Kiran Kamit" settlement association levelled 4 dunums of Palestinian owned agricultural land in Al-Makhrour area located in Beit Jalla city and installed a barbed wire fence around the plot of land in an attempt to confiscate it.
  • On June 14th 2019, a group of Israeli settlers under the protection of the Israeli Military stormed Solomon's Pools area in Irtas village and conducted Talmudic rituals.
  • On June 18th 2019, a group of Israeli settlers levelled a plot of land in Kisan village in and attempt to install an Electrical Generator with solar panels.
  • On June 28th 2019, a group of Israeli settlers driving a vehicle stormed Wadi Fuqinn village and removed a Palestinian flag from the grave of Ahmad Manasra

Hebron:

  • On June 9th 2019, a group of Israeli settlers under the protection of the Israeli Military stormed Jabal Jalis area located in the old city of Hebron and attempted to prevent Palestinian Telecommunications company {Al-Wataniya Mobil-Oredeo} from installing of a cellular base station on the rooftop of a home during which local residents were able to repel the settler attack and prevented them from reaching the site.
  • On June 15th 2019, a group of Israeli settlers seized the vegetable market in the Old City of Hebron, a shop owned by the Ministry of Awqaf and Religious Affairs and leased to a family member: Abu Eisha, and closed since 2001.
  • On June 16th 2019, a group of Israeli settlers stormed Tel Al-Rumayda neighborhood in the old city of Hebron and assaulted several construction workers as they were constructing a fence near the home of Abu Aisha family home.
  • On June 16th 2019, a group of Israeli settlers stormed agricultural land in Birin area which is located between Bani Na'im and Yatta towns and uprooted several Olive trees.
  •  On June 22nd 2019, a group of Israeli settlers stormed the old city of Hebron and assaulted Haroun Raghib Jaber and as a result left him hospitalized with contusions.
  • On the evening of June 30th 2019, a group of Israeli settlers positioned at Al-Shuhada road in the old city of Hebron assaulted a resident using a steel object and as a result left him hospitalized with a bruises and cuts on his arm.

Closure of Crossing Points

The Israeli military completely closed crossing points into the Gaza Strip, including access points within the Green Line, on 149 occasions during the month of June 2019. The Israeli military closed crossing points within the Green Line on 107 occasions. It opened Beit Hanun (Erez) Crossing for 25 days for previously-coordinated humanitarian cases and foreign nationals and Karm Abu Salem (Karem Shalom) Crossing for 18 days for transportation of food supplies, humanitarian aid, and cooking gas. In addition to allowing in animal feed, construction cargo designated for UNRWA and internationally-funded projects was transported through the Crossing. Sufa Crossing was closed throughout the month. On the other hand, the Israeli authorities have continued to unilaterally close Ash Shuja’iya (Nahal ‘Oz) Crossing. Beginning on 02 March 2011, the Israeli authorities has also continued to completely close Al Muntar (Karnei) Commercial Crossing.

 

The Israeli military closed international crossing points on 42 occasions. Rafah Crossing was closed on 12 occasions. Yasser Arafat International Airport has remained closed since the outbreak of the second Intifada.
