The following summary tables and overview of events survey hostile Israeli activities during the period 01 June 2020 to June 30 2020. The report includes a summary table of events, classified by type, throughout the West Bank and Gaza Strip, in addition to a comparative table surveying events over the past three months. The survey is compiled from the Daily Situation Reports of the Palestinian Monitoring Group (PMG) of the Negotiations Affairs Department (NAD) of the Palestine Liberation Organization (PLO). The PMG monitors ground conditions in the West Bank and Gaza Strip, including Israeli and Palestinian violations. The information reported through the PMG process represents data available at the time of distribution only.

  • 02.06.2020:  Rami Saad al-Ghaleban {43 years old and, a resident of Maan area located east of Khan Yunis city}, died of serious injuries sustained months earlier during his participation in the return marches east of Khuza'a, east of Khan Yunis, on 03. 08. 2018.

  • 03.06.2020: Israeli forces demolished 5 homes owned by Muhammad Abu Dahuk, Ibrahim Abu Dahuk, and his sons Nasr, Ahmad and Sabah, in addition to the demolition of 2 livestock dens{ used to raise sheep} in Deir Hajlat Bedouin community located in east Jericho city.

Killings

A total of 2 residents were killed by Israeli forces during the month of June 2020 {1 in the West Bank and 1 in Gaza}:

  • On 02. 06. 2020 Rami Saad al-Ghaleban {43 years old and, a resident of Maan area located east of Khan Yunis city}, died of serious injuries sustained months earlier during his participation in the return marches east of Khuza'a, east of Khan Yunis, on 03. 08. 2018.

Injuries

A total of 86 injuries were reported in the month of June 2020 {86 Palestinians in the West Bank and 0 in the Gaza Strip). Injuries included 3 children {including a girl} and 1 Journalist.

Arrests

During the month of June 2020, the Israeli military arrested 488 Palestinians (486 in the West Bank and 2 in the Gaza Strip). Closure
