The following summary tables and overview of events survey hostile Israeli activities during the period 01 September 2018 to September 30 2018. The report includes a summary table of events, classified by type, throughout the West Bank and Gaza Strip, in addition to a comparative table surveying events over the past three months. The survey is compiled from the Daily Situation Reports of the Palestinian Monitoring Group (PMG) of the Negotiations Affairs Department (NAD) of the Palestine Liberation Organization (PLO). The PMG monitors ground conditions in the West Bank and Gaza Strip, including Israeli and Palestinian violations. The information reported through the PMG process represents data available at the time of distribution only.

  • September 1st 2018: Israeli forces positioned near the east entrance of Kafr Qaddum village {which is closed by the Israeli Military} fired rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas canisters towards several demonstrators, protesting against the continued closure, for alleged stoning and as a result injured the child: Ma'moun Murad Ishtewi {8 years old} and left several demonstrators suffocating from tear gas inhalation.
  • September 3rd 2018:  Israeli forces positioned near "Kiryat Arba' " settlement located in North East the old city of Hebron opened fire towards and killed Wael Abdel-Fattah Abdel-Ghani Al-Ja'bari {27 years old}{A resident of Hebron city}{ who allegedly attempted to stab a Israeli soldier}.
  • September 4st 2018: Israeli forces positioned in Al-Risan area located in Ras Kar Kar village fired rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas canisters towards several demonstrators who were protesting against land confiscation and Israeli settler violence for alleged stoning and as a result injured 4 residents {including 2 journalists}: Fayez Hussein, Yusef Injas, Isam Al-Rimawi {A journalist} and Abbas Al-Mumini {A journalist}.
  • September 7th 2018: Amjad Fayiz Ahmad Hamdounah {19 years old}{A resident of Jabaliya camp} died of serious injuries sustained after Israeli forces opened fire towards demonstrators in east Jabaliya town in North Gaza district on July 13th 2018.
  • September 7th 2018: Israeli forces positioned behind the Green Line fired live ammunition, rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas canisters towards several demonstrators in east Rafah city participating in the right of return march and as a result killed the child: Billal Mustafa Mohammad Khajat {16 years old} {A resident of Rafah city}, injured 13 residents {including a Journalist and a Paramedic} and left 42 others suffocated from tear gas inhalation.
  • September 8th 2018: Ahmad Mus'ab Ahmad Abu Tiyour {16 years old}{A resident of Rafah city} died of serious injuries sustained after Israeli forces opened fire towards demonstrators in east Rafah city on September 7th 2018.
  • September 9th 2018: Israeli forces positioned behind the Green Line fired live ammunition, rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas canisters towards several demonstrators who were participating in the march of return in east Jabaliya town and as a result killed Atef Mohammad Saleh {32 years old} {A resident of Jabaliya town} who was detained near the border fence where he was pronounced dead at a later time.
  • September 14th 2018: Israeli forces positioned behind the Green Line fired live ammunition, rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas canisters towards several demonstrators in east Jabaliya town participating in the right of return march and as a result killed the child: Abdel-Azziz Mahmoud Abdel-Al {12 years old} {A resident of Jabaliya camp} injured 15 residents {including a paramedic} and left 30 others suffocated from tear gas inhalation.
  • September 14th 2018:  Israeli forces positioned behind the Green Line fired live ammunition, rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas canisters towards several demonstrators in east Al-Buriej camp participating in the right of return march and as a result killed Mohammad Khalil Ghazi Shaqarwat {20 years old} {A resident of Al-Maghazi camp}, injured 7 residents {including a paramedic} and left 15 others suffocated from tear gas inhalation.
  • September 14th 2018: Israeli forces positioned behind the Green Line fired live ammunition, rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas canisters towards several demonstrators in east Rafah city participating in the right of return march and as a result killed Hani Ramzi Mohammad Affana {21 years old} {A resident of Rafah city}, injured 6 residents {including a Paramedic} and left 12 others suffocated from tear gas inhalation.
  • September 15th 2018: Suhayib Abdel-Salam Abu Kashif {16 years old}{A resident of Khan Yunis city} died of critical injuries sustained after Israeli forces opened fire towards demonstrator's in east Khan Yunis city on August 3rd 2018.
  • September 16th 2018: Israeli forces fired live ammunition, rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents for alleged stoning {as they escorted a group of Israeli settlers who stormed Joseph's Tomb} during their raid into Nablus city and as a result injured 6 residents {including 2 Paramedics}: Jarir Zakariya Qandilo {A Paramedic}, Ameer Sa'id Al-Bazrat {A Paramedic} and Mu'tasim Ali Abu Awwad and left 4 others suffocated from tear gas inhalation.
  • September 17th 2018: Israeli airstrikes killed 2 residents: Naji Jamil Abu Assi {18 years old} and Alaa Ziyad Abu Assi {21 years old}{Both area residents of Al-Nazlat area located in east Khan Yunis city} near the border fence in east Al-Qarara town located in North east Khan Yunis city.
  • September 18th 2018: Israeli forces killed Mohammad Zaghoul Qassim Al-Khatib Al-Rimawi {23 years old} as they assaulted him while he was being detained during their raid into Beit Rima town.
  • September 18th 2018: Israeli forces opened fire towards and killed Mohammad Yusef Sha'ban Aliyan {26 years old} {A resident of Qalandiya camp} in Al-Masrara neighborhood in Jerusalem city.
  • September 18th 2018: Israeli forces positioned behind the Green Line fired live ammunition, rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas canisters towards several demonstrators near Beit Hanun (Erez) crossing located in North Beit Hanun town during the march of return and as a result killed 2 residents: Hamad Ahmed Abu Naji{34 years old}{A resident of Beit Lahiya town}, and Ahmed Mohammed Mohsen Omar {20 years old}{A resident of Al-Shati refugee camp in Gaza City}, injured 15 residents and left several others suffocated from tear gas inhalation.
  • September 19th 2018 Israeli forces positioned behind the Green Line opened fire towards several residents near the border fence in east Rafah city and as a result killed a child and injured 2 residents.
  • September 21st 2018: Israeli forces positioned behind the Green Line fired live ammunition, rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas canisters towards several demonstrators in east Gaza city participating in the right of return march and as a result killed Kareem Mohammad Mahmoud Kalab {19 years old} {A resident of Gaza city},, injured 16 residents {including a Paramedic} and left 97 others suffocated from tear gas inhalation.
  • September 23rd 2018: Israeli forces positioned behind the Green Line fired live ammunition, rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas canisters towards several demonstrators in east Gaza city participating in the right of return march and as a result killed Imad Daud Ishtewi {21 years old}{A resident of Gaza city} and injured 11 others.
  • September 24th 2018: Israeli forces positioned behind the Green Line fired live ammunition, rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas canisters towards several demonstrators in North West Beit Lahiya town participating in the right of return march and as a result killed Mohammad Fayiz Saleem Abu Al-Sadiq {21 years old} {A resident of Al-Shata' camp in Gaza city}, injured 10 residents and left 80 others suffocated from tear gas inhalation.
  • September 26th 2018: Israeli forces fired live ammunition, rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents for alleged stoning as they escorted a group of Israeli settlers who stormed Joseph's Tomb during their raid into Nablus city and as a result injured 8 residents {including 2 Journalists and 2 children: Hassan Mustafa Hassan Issa, journalist Mahmoud Fawzi Mahmoud Abdel Ghani and journalist Ameer Jamal Lotfi Istitia Hani Talal Mahmoud Abdullah Obaid Hani Derrar Mahmoud Al Saidi Mustafa Mahmoud Kallab Nasser Mohammed Ahmed Zaher {17 years old} and Musa Ibrahim Usta {16 years old} who was rammed by a Israeli Military vehicles.
  • September 28th 2018: Israeli forces positioned behind the Green Line fired live ammunition, rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas canisters towards several demonstrators in east Gaza city participating in the right of return march and as a result killed 3 residents: Eyad Khalil Ahmad Al-Sha'er {18 years old}{A resident of Gaza city}, Mohammad Waleed Mustafa Haniya {23 years old}{A resident of Gaza city} and Mohammad Bassam Mohammad Sha'khsat {24 years old}{A resident of Gaza city} , injured 41 residents {including 4 journalists} and left 155 other suffocated from tear gas inhalation.
  • September 28th 2018: Israeli forces positioned behind the Green Line fired live ammunition, rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas canisters towards several demonstrators in east Al-Buriej camp participating in the right of return march and as a result killed 2 residents {including a child}: Mohammad Nayef Yusef Al-Hawam {14 years old}{A resident of Al-Buriej camp} and Mohammad Ashraf Mohammad Al-Awawadat {25 years old}{A resident of Wadi Gaza}, injured 8 residents and left 54 other suffocated from tear gas inhalation.
  • September 28th 2018: Israeli forces positioned behind the Green Line fired live ammunition, rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas canisters towards several demonstrators in east Khuza'a town located in east Khan Yunis city participating in the right of return march and as a result killed 2 residents {including a child}: Nasser Azmi Mohammad Musbah {13 years old}{A resident of Abbassan Al-Kabirah town} and Mohammad Ali Mohammad Anshasi {18 years old}{A resident of Khan Yunis city}, injured 13 residents and left 102 other suffocated from tear gas inhalation.
  • September 30th 2018: Israeli forces fired live ammunition, rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents for alleged stoning as they stormed a drug warehouse and as a result injured 5 residents {including a child and a journalist: Journalist - Mohammed Turkman, Hammam Ayman Abu Kwik 16 years, Mohammed Ziad Kandah, Ahmed Yousef Ramadan, and Ibrahim Sharif Mohammed} during their raid into Ramallah city.

The Israeli military carried out 156 attacks from Israeli military post on civilian homes and property, 63 from Military checkpoints towards Palestinian residents and vehicle and 85 during raids into Civilian populated areas. In addition, Israeli navy vessels carried out 19 attacks on Palestinian fishermen and territory and 15 from air strikes.

During the month of September 2018, the Israeli military arrested 329 Palestinians (311 in the West Bank and 18 in the Gaza Strip). The majority of arrests took place in the districts of Jerusalem (85); Ramallah (35); Jenin (23); Tubas (1); Tulkarem (10); Qalqiliya (24); Nablus (31); Salfit (2); Jericho (2); Bethlehem (31); Hebron (67),North Gaza (1), Khan Yunis (11) and  Rafah (6). Among those arrested by the Israeli military were: 30 children, 6 women, 1 University student and 4 Security Force Officers.

During the Month of September 2018 Israeli courts in Occupied Jerusalem issued the following expulsion orders:

  • September 1st 2018: Israeli Authorities in Jerusalem city issued a court order banning Rushdi Abu Ramouz {A resident of Jerusalem city} from the old city of Jerusalem for a period of 2 weeks and fined him 3000 NIS as a condition for his release until his court hearing.
  • September 6th 2018: Israeli courts in Jerusalem city issued orders banning 5 residents: Majdi Al-Abbassi, Alaa Abu Taya, Ali Abu Diyab, Uday Ghayth and Mohammad Ghayth {all residents of Silwan neighborhood in Jerusalem city} from entering Al-Aqsa mosque compound in the old city of Jerusalem for a period of 30 days and imposed a financial penalty of 1000 NIS for each as a condition for their release after being detained at an earlier time.
  • September 9th 2018: Israeli authorities in Jerusalem city issued a court order banning the child Hannan Al-Razam and her Aunt Na'ima Ghazawi from entering Al-Aqsa mosque compound for a period of 15 days and banned Mohammad Al-Tawil from entering the old city of Jerusalem for a period of 2 weeks as a condition for their release from Israeli Police custody after they were detained while exiting Al-Aqsa mosque.
  • September 12th 2018: Israeli authorities in Jerusalem city issued a court order for the Child Ibrahim Eyad Jaber {A resident of Silwan neighborhood in Jerusalem city} banning him from his home for a period of 15 days as a condition for his release after he was detained at an earlier time.
  • September 18th 2018: Israeli authorities in Jerusalem city issued court orders banning 7 residents: Raed Zaghir, Haitham Al-Halawani, Thaer Abu Sabeeh, Rami Saleh Al-Fakhouri, Murad Al-Ashhab, Hamza Badr Zughair and Mahmoud Al-Munis from Jerusalem city as a condition for their release from Israeli Police custody after being detained at an earlier time.
  • September 19th 2018: Israeli authorities in Jerusalem city Issued a court order to Fadi Matour banning him from entering Al-Aqsa Mosque compound and the old city of Jerusalem for a period of 15 days and imposed a financial penalty 3000 NIS as a condition for his release after he was detained and sent to Israeli Police headquarters in Jerusalem city.
  • September 20th 2018: Israeli authorities in Jerusalem city issued orders to expel Hamza Awni Issa Al-Nabali {A Security Guard at Al-Aqsa mosque compound} from Al-Aqsa mosque compound in the old city of Jerusalem for a period of 15 days and imposed a financial penalty of 2000 NIS as a condition for his release after being detained at an earlier time.
  • September 20th 2018: Israeli authorities in Jerusalem city issued orders to expel Zienat Abu Subieh {Head of the Female Security Unit at Al-Aqsa mosque compound} from Al-Aqsa mosque compound in the old city of Jerusalem for a period of 10 days and imposed a financial penalty of 2000 NIS as a condition for his release after being detained at an earlier time.
  • September 23rd 2018: Israeli authorities in Jerusalem city served orders for 14 residents {including 4 employees for the Islamic Endowments for Al-Aqsa mosque compound}: Shadi al-Mutawar, Mohammed al-Dabbagh, Raed al-Zaghir, Hossam Sidr, Mahdi al-Abbasi, Mahmoud Abdul Latif, Thaer Salman Abu Sabeeh, Ihab al-Zaghir, Hamza al-Zaghir, Rami Fakhouri, Jamil al-Abbasi, Jihad Abu Qus and Mahmoud al-Mons preventing them from entering Al-Aqsa mosque compound in the old city of Jerusalem.
  • September 26th 2018: Israeli authorities in Jerusalem issued order to 5 residents {including a child and a woman} banning them from entering Al-Aqsa mosque compound in the old city of Jerusalem: Ayda Al-Saydawi { 2 week ban}, Imad Abadin {10 day ban}, Yacoub Al-Dabagh {17 years old}{ 3 month ban}, Murad Al-Ash'ab {3 month ban} and Rawhi Al-Kalghasi {6 months ban} as a condition for their release from Israeli Police custody after being detained at an earlier time.

  • September 28th 2018: Israeli forces positioned behind the Green Line fired live ammunition, rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas canisters towards several demonstrators in east Khuza'a town located in east Khan Yunis city participating in the right of return march and as a result killed 2 residents {including a child}: Nasser Azmi Mohammad Musbah {13 years old}{A resident of Abbassan Al-Kabirah town} and Mohammad Ali Mohammad Anshasi {18 years old}{A resident of Khan Yunis city}, injured 13 residents and left 102 other suffocated from tear gas inhalation.

Injuries

A total of 580 injuries were reported in the month of September 2018 (58 Palestinians in the West Bank and 522 in the Gaza Strip). Injuries included 8 children, 11 Journalists, 6 Paramedic and 1 Fisherman.

Arrests

During the month of September 2018, the Israeli military arrested 329 Palestinians (311 in the West Bank and 18 in the Gaza Strip). The majority of arrests took place in the districts of Jerusalem (85); Ramallah (35); Jenin (23); Tubas (1); Tulkarem (10); Qalqiliya (24); Nablus (31); Salfit (2); Jericho (2); Bethlehem (31); Hebron (67),North Gaza (1), Khan Yunis (11) and  Rafah (6). Among those arrested by the Israeli military were: 30 children, 6 women, 1 University student and 4 Security Force Officers.

Closure

Especially on Fridays, the Israeli military continues to intensify restrictions at checkpoints located at the entrances of Jerusalem, and to restrict entrance to the Al Aqsa Mosque compound in the old city of Jerusalem, preventing worshippers from accessing the Mosque. At the Qalandiya checkpoint north of Jerusalem, the Israeli military continues to prevent PNA registered civilian vehicles from crossing the checkpoint towards Ar Ram and Qalandiya as well as Dahiyat al Bareed. The checkpoint is overcrowded daily, particularly during rush hours, due to intensified restrictions and search measures applied by Israeli troops. During the month of August  2018  the Israeli military also continued to intensify restrictions at the Tayasir checkpoint and Al Hamra junction checkpoint leading to the Jordan Valley area, only allowing access to civilians whose IDs indicate District of Jericho residence or others holding special access permits. In addition, restrictions were intensified and civilian access was obstructed at the Za’tara junction checkpoint (separating the northern and central West Bank districts) as well as at the As Sawahira ash Sharqiya (the ‘Container’) checkpoint (separating the central and southern West Bank districts).

The Israeli military installed 322 flying checkpoints in September 2018 (compared with 281 in August and 332 in July) and as a result restricted the free access and movement of residents, merchant supplies and agricultural goods.

The Israeli military set up 322 Flying checkpoints in the month of September 2018 and searched Palestinian civilians and vehicles in and around Palestinian residential areas in the districts of Jerusalem (15); Ramallah (76); Jenin (14);Tubas (2), Tulkarem (13); Qalqiliya (41); Nablus (24); Salfit (28); Jericho (24); Bethlehem (32) and Hebron (53).

 

Raids

The Israeli military carried out a total of 444 raids in Palestinian residential areas during the month of September 2018, including 437 in the West Bank and 7 in the Gaza Strip. The majority of Israeli military raids were reported to have taken place in the districts of Jerusalem (46); Ramallah (42); Jenin (69); Tubas (6); Tulkarem (53); Qalqiliya (30); Nablus (59); Salfit (14); Jericho (10); Bethlehem (47); Hebron (61), North Gaza (3), Gaza (1)  Khan Yunis (2) and Rafah (1).

Attacks

A total of 341 attacks were reported to have taken place during the month of September 2018 (143 in the West Bank and 199 in the Gaza Strip).

The Israeli military carried out 156 attacks from Israeli military post on civilian homes and property, 63 from Military checkpoints towards Palestinian residents and vehicle and 85 during raids into Civilian populated areas. In addition, Israeli navy vessels carried out 19 attacks on Palestinian fishermen and territory and 15 from air strikes

  • September 5th 2018: Israeli forces demolished a concrete fence which surrounds the Professional Syndicate Complex in Beit Hanina town for allegedly being built without a license.
  • September 25th 2018: Israeli forces leveled a road which leads to Al-Nabi Samuel village located in west Jerusalem city.

Tubas:

  • September 4th 2018: the Israeli Military forced 7 families to leave their homes in Khirbiet Um Al-Jamal and Al-Burj area located in the North Jordan valley from 17:00 on September 4th 2018 until 10:00 on September 5th 2018 for alleged military training in the area.
  •  September 17th 2018: Israeli forces halted construction work on 140-square-meter service complex consisting of two floors, including a health clinic, a kindergarten and a women's complex (under construction) in Bardala village located in the North Jordan valley area for allegedly being built without a license.
  • September 18th 2018: Israeli forces leveled a 1500 m long and 6 inches wide water pipeline network.

Nablus:

  • September 5th 2018: Israeli forces closed a water pipe line which supplies the only school in Faroush Beit Dijjan village.
  • September 7th 2018: Israeli forces closed road leading to a solid waste dumping site in Beita town.

Hebron:

  • September 3rd 2018: Israeli forces demolished 2 bathrooms and a barracks' owned by Salama Al-Taymin and Nayef Al-Taymin in Zuwadin area located in east Yatta town.
  • September 17th 2018: Israeli forces positioned near the bypass road near the Municipality neighborhood in Hebron city and halted the construction of a Cement factory {under construction} owned by Salah Abu Maliya for allegedly being built without a license and confiscated construction equipment and material.

  • September 18th 2018: Israeli forces confiscated 15000 NIS from the home of Mohammad Mahmoud Imteir during their raid into Qalandiya camp.
  • September 24th 2018: Israeli forces confiscated a bulldozer owned by Omar Al-Ja'abis {A resident of Shu'fat camp} in Jerusalem city.

Ramallah & Al-Bireh:

  • September 11th 2018: Israeli forces confiscated a cellular telephone and a laptop computer owned by Haytham Abdel-Nassir Siyaj after he was detained during their raid into Al-Bireh city.
  • September 20th 2018: Israeli forces confiscated a Solid Waste truck owned by Al-Mazra'a Al-Gharbiya village council as it was located on land which is under threat of confiscation by the Israeli Military.
  • September 21st 2018: Israeli forces confiscated surveillance camera footage from a Carpenter Workshop owned by Abdel-Fattah Mohammad Fayiz Rahimi during their raid into Beit Rima town.

Jenin:

  • September 17th 2018: Israeli forces confiscated 1500 NIS after storming and searching the home of Muthna Aref Jaradat during their raid into Al-Silah Al-Harthiya town.

Tubas:

  • September 4th 2018: Israeli forces confiscated a mobile home owned by Mahmoud Hayil Bashirat in Khirbeit Humsa Al-Tahta located in the North Jordan valley after dismantling it for allegedly being built without a license.

Qalqiliya:

  • September 18th 2018: Israeli forces confiscated several surveillance camera footage recorders as they stormed and searched merchants shops during their raid into Azzun town.

Bethlehem:

  • September 2nd 2018: Israeli forces confiscated a Bulldozer owned by Munthir Saharim as he was paving a road in Nihalin village.
  • September 27th 2018: Israeli forces confiscated a bulldozer as they served a military order to halt construction on a home owned by Mohammad Faysal Abu Sbiehduring their raid into Haramala village.

Hebron:

  • September 4th 2018: Israeli forces confiscated a vehicle owned by Yusef Nassar Al-Assar after detaining him during their raid into Dura town.
  • September 4th 2018: Israeli forces confiscated a vehicle owned by Mohammad Ismail Abu Arqoub as they detained him during their raid into Tuwas village located in south Beit Awwa town.
  • September 4th 2018: Israeli forces confiscated a tent {used for housing} owned by Yusef Ayoub Mohammad Abu Arram {whose home was demolished by Israeli forces in the same area on September 3rd 2018} in Aqawis area located in east Yatta town.

  • September 22nd 2018: Israeli forces confiscated construction equipment and material owned by Khalid Musa Al-Najjar and Khalid Abu Aram during their raid into Khirbeit Aqawies village in Yatta town.
  • September 22nd 2018: Israeli forces stormed Um Al-Shuqhan area located near "Avigayil" settlement located in east Yatta town confiscated a truck carrying construction material and a Electrical generator owned by Al-Zien and Makhamar families.

North Gaza:

  • September 13th 2018: Israeli Naval forces confiscated a fishing boat owned by Mohammad Abdel-Raziq Bakr after temporarily detained 3 fishermen off the shores of Al-Sudaniya area located in west Beit Lahiya town then released them at a later time.

Central  Gaza:

  • September 1st 2018: Israeli Naval forces confiscated a Palestinian fishing boat off the shores of Deir Al-Balah city after detaining 6 fishermen.

Settlement Activity:

  • September 6th 2018: Israeli forces positioned near the entrance of Deir Istiya town leveled a plot of land approximately 600 m2 owned by Ibrahim Abu Zied which he planned on constructing merchant shops which he applied to obtain necessary permits from the Israeli's through the Palestinian Military Coordination.
  • September 17th 2018: Israeli forces stormed Khilat Al-Nahla area located near Wadi Rahal village and leveled land as they paved a road connecting "Efrata" settlement and Khilat Al-Nahla area located near Wadi Rahal village and Irtad village.

Jerusalem:

  • September 7th 2018: a group of Israeli settlers stormed Al-Khan Al-Ahmar area {who's Bedouin residents are under threat by the Israeli Military to be forcibly removed from the area} during which they clashed with several residents who forced them to flee the area.
  • September 8th 2018: a group of Israeli settlers stormed Batn Al-Hawa area located in Silwan neighborhood of Jerusalem city and stoned several homes and vehicles and as a result broke several windows during which Israeli forces fired stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents who attempted to prevent the settler attack.
  • September 20th 2018: Israeli settlers stormed Al-Shoekh Jarrah neighborhood and leveled a plot of land owned by Abdel-Raziq Al-Shiekh in an attempt to seize the property during which local residents were able to intervene and prevent the settlers leveling the land and forced them out the area.
  • September 30th 2018: a group of Israeli settlers stormed Al-Masrara neighborhood in Jerusalem city and assaulted residents and stoned several merchant shops and as a result injured 5 residents then proceeded to storm Bab Al-Wad neighborhood and assaulted residents and attacked homes and as a result damaged several vehicles.

Ramallah &Al-Bireh:

  • September 16th 2018: a group of Israeli settlers positioned near Al-Dahiya area in Al-Jalazoun camp stoned residents and vehicles in the area.
  • September 22nd 2018: a group of Israeli settlers positioned near Al-Nabi Saleh village junction stoned residents and vehicles passing through the area.
  • September 22nd 2018: a group of Israeli settlers positioned at Beitin village junction then withdrew at 03:35.

Jenin:

  •  September 3rd 2018: a group of Israeli settlers opened fire towards the home of Jamal Rida Sayef Al-Qarib located along the main road connecting Nablus and Jenin.

Tubas:

  • September 10th 2018: a group of Israeli settlers stormed Samara area located in the North Jordan valley and assaulted Thiyab Abd Awad Daraghma and stole his personal belongings.

Nablus:

  • September 1st 2018: a group of Israeli settlers from "Givat Runim" settlement outpost which located on residential owned agricultural land in Burin village and sawed off the limbs of 18 Olive trees owned by Zakariya Jamil Al-Najjar.
  • September 1st 2018: a group of Israeli settlers from "Yitshar" settlement stormed the in south east Burin village and stoned the homes of Nashar Dakhil Eid and Bashir Hamdi Zein and as result broke the windows of the homes and also attempted to chop off the limbs of several Olive trees.
  • September 1st 2018: a group of Israeli settlers positioned near "Yitshar" settlement stoned residents and vehicles travelling along the main road and as a result injured 4 residents leaving them hospitalized with contusions.
  • September 3rd 2018: a group of Israeli settlers stormed Beita town and spray painted racist graffiti on vehicles.
  • September 5th 2018: Israeli forces stormed the area between Qusra and Jalloud villages and set fire to several wooden slabs used for construction.
  • September 10th 2018: a group of Israeli settlers under the protection of Israeli Military forces stormed the main road connecting Qabalan town and Yatma village then withdrew at 19:00.
  • September 13th 2018: Israeli settlers stormed Jallud village and slashed the tires of 3 vehicles owned by Mohammad Kamil Hussien Ayid, Hussien Kamal Hussien Ayid and Ali Kamal Hussien Ayid.
  • September 13th 2018: a group of Israeli settlers closed the entrance Al Lubban ash Sharqiya village and prevented residents from entering or exiting the area then temporarily seized several vehicles carrying residents and school children.
  • September 16th 2018: Israeli settlers from "Eli" settlement located on residential owned land near Al-Liban Al-Sharqiya village stoned residents and vehicles travelling along the main road connecting Nablus and Ramallah.
  • September 18th 2018: a group of Israeli settlers positioned at Jama'in town junction stoned residents and vehicles then assaulted Ali Salah Hamad Salama and smashed the windshield of a Fuel truck owned by Abdel-Karim Ismail during which they withdrew under the protection of the Israeli Military.
  • September 20th 2018: a Israeli settler from "Shavie Shamron" dumped sewage waste from the settlement on to agricultural land.
  • September 26th 2018: a Israeli settler from "Elli" settlement located in east Al-Liban Al-Sharqiya village set fire to approximately 3 dunums {acres} of agricultural land planted with Olive trees located along the main road connecting Ramallah and Nablus and as a result destroyed several Olive tree before Palestinian Civil defense forces were able to extinguish the fire.
  • September 27th 2018: Israeli settlers stormed Burin village then withdrew at 16:05.

Qalqiliya:

  • September 9th 2018: Israeli settlers pumped sewage from the solid waste treatment plant in "Sha'arei Tikva" settlement located in Azzun Atma village into Azzoun School - Beit Amin Secondary Boys School Which caused unpleasant odors and the inability of students to move or practice various activities, in addition to the destruction of a large part of the school garden.

Salfit:

  • September 23rd 2018: a group of Israeli settlers stormed Deir Istiya town then withdrew at a later time.

Bethlehem:

  • September 13th 2018: a group of Israeli settlers stormed Al-Mina village located in south Teqou town and set fire to 200 Olive trees.
  • September 16th 2018: a group of Israeli settlers positioned at "Kafr Itsiyon" settlement junction closed the main road connecting Bethlehem and Hebron thus impeded the free flow of traffic.
  • September 17th 2018: a group of Israeli settlers stormed residential owned land in Khilat Al-Nahla area located near Wadi Rahal village and installed tents in the area in an attempt to seize the land.

Hebron:

  • September 1st 2018: Israeli settlers stormed Khilat Salama area located in North Hebron city and assaulted several residents in the area.
  • September 8th 2018: a group of Israeli settlers stormed Al-Shuhada road in the old city of Hebron and attacked a Palestinian Ambulance and as a result shattered the vehicle windshield.
  • September 9th 2018: a group of Israeli settlers and their children assaulted the child Nizar Al-Shuwaki {16 years old} and sprayed pepper spray onto his face as he was returning home from school in Tel Al-Rumayda neighborhood in the old city of Hebron and as a result left him suffocated from the pepper spray.
  • September 10th 2018: a group of Israeli settlers from "Migon" and "Havat Migon" settlements and stormed agricultural land in Al-Hamra area located in east Yatta town then uprooted 15 Olive trees owned by Al-Raba'i family.
  • September 11th 2018: a group of Israeli settlers positioned near the entrance of Al-Ibrahimi mosque compound in the Old city of Hebron and prevented residents from entering to celebrate Al-Hijri New Year.
  • September 12th 2018: Israeli settlers in the old city of Hebron assaulted the child Ahmad Mohammad Sabir Jabir {11 years old} and sprayed pepper spray on to his face and as a result left him hospitalized with contusions and suffocation.

Closure of Crossing Points

The Israeli military completely closed crossing points into the Gaza Strip, including access points within the Green Line, on 163 occasions during the month of September 2018. The Israeli military closed crossing points within the Green Line on 123 occasions. It opened Beit Hanun (Erez) Crossing for 15 days for previously-coordinated humanitarian cases and foreign nationals and Karm Abu Salem (Karem Shalom) Crossing for 12 days for transportation of food supplies, humanitarian aid, and cooking gas. In addition to allowing in animal feed, construction cargo designated for UNRWA and internationally-funded projects was transported through the Crossing. Sufa Crossing was closed throughout the month. On the other hand, the Israeli authorities have continued to unilaterally close Ash Shuja’iya (Nahal ‘Oz) Crossing. Beginning on 02 March 2011, the Israeli authorities has also continued to completely close Al Muntar (Karnei) Commercial Crossing.

 

The Israeli military closed international crossing points on 40 occasions. Rafah Crossing was closed on 10 occasions. Yasser Arafat International Airport has remained closed since the outbreak of the second Intifada.
