WEST BANK

ALL DISTRICTS

Closure

Since 24:00 on April 9th 2017, the Israeli Military imposed a full closure of the West Bank for the "Passover" Holiday and prevented residents including those with Valid entry permits from entering Jerusalem city and Israel except Diplomatic missions, International Organizations and Medical emergency cases until 24:00 on April 17th 2017.

JERUSALEM

Raid

1. At 01:00, Israeli forces raided Bir Nabala town until 02:30.
2. At 01:10, Israeli forces raided Al-Jaderat village.

Detention

1. At 13:00, Israeli forces positioned in Jerusalem city detained Jamil Abdel-Raziq Al-Tamimi {57 years old}{A resident of Ras Al-Amoud neighborhood} after he allegedly stabbed and killed a British tourist and injured 2 Israeli settlers near the light railway in the city.
2. On April 14th 2017, Israeli forces detained Hijazi Abu Subieh {A resident of the old city of Jerusalem}.
3. On April 14th 2017, Israeli forces detained Maher Othaman Mohammad Othamn {A resident of Qalandiya camp}.

RAMALLAH & AL BIREH

Flying Checkpoints

At 20:00, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint near Al-Nabi Salah village and detained a resident.

Raid

1. At 15:55, Israeli forces raided Beitunia town and detained a child.
2. At 01:20, Israeli forces raided Al-Bireh city , stormed and searched a home then withdrew at 05:35.

Detention

1. At 12:30, Israeli forces detained Maher Naji Mohammad Othman {A resident of Khirbithat Al-Misbah village}.
2. Israeli forces positioned at a flying checkpoint near the entrance of Al-Nabi Saleh village detained Amjad Salah Al-Barghouthi {A resident of Beit Rima town}.
3. Israeli forces detained the child Jamal Mohammad Al-Marbou' {16 years old} in Beitunia town.

Demonstrations

1. At 13:15, a demonstration took place in Bilin village protesting against the construction of the wall during which Israeli forces clashed with demonstrators as they were attempting to reach the demonstration site and then temporarily detained Mohammad Abdel-Qadder Amireh then released him at a later time.
2. At 13:20, a demonstration took place Ni'lin town protesting against the construction of the wall then clashes erupted between protesters and Israeli forces..

Attack

At 13;30, Israeli forces fired stun and tear gas grenades towards several residents during demonstrations in Ni'lin town.

Temporary Detention

At 13:15, Israeli forces temporarily Mohammad Abdel-Qadder Amireh during demonstrations in Bil'in village then released him at a later time.

JENIN

Flying Checkpoints

At 10:00, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint in the area between Al-Zababida and Qabatiya towns then searched residents and vehicles until 14:00.

TUBAS

Flying Checkpoints

At 16:00, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Tammoun town and clashed with several residents and as a result injured 4 residents including a child.

Raid

At 15:45, Israeli forces raided Atouf village.

Attack

At 16:00, Israeli forces positioned at a flying checkpoint at the entrance of Tamoun town fired rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas grenades towards several residents for alleged stoning and as a result injured 4 residents including a child.

Injuries

Israeli forces injured 4 residents {including a child}: Ayham Raed Sabah {16 years old}, Hamad Ziyad Sabah, Faris Hassan Daraghmeh and Ahmad Jamal Ahmad Daraghmeh near a flying checkpoint at the entrance of Tamoun town.

TULKAREM

Flying Checkpoints

1. At 11:05, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Shufa village then searched residents and vehicles until 11:35.
2. At 14:10, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint near Bazariya village junction near Anabta town then searched residents and vehicles until 16:55.
3. At 15:45, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at Anatil town junction then searched residents and vehicles.

QALQILIYA

Flying Checkpoints

1.At 10:45, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the east entrance of Qalqilya then searched residents and vehicles.
2. At 17:05, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint near the Al-Fanduq village then searched residents and vehicles.

Demonstrations

At 13:30, a demonstration took place in Kafr Qaddum village against the closure of the east entrance during which they clashed with Israeli forces tried to disrupt the demonstration by firing rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas grenades towards demonstrators who attempted to reach the demonstration site and as a result injured 3 children.

At 13:30, Israeli forces fired rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas grenades towards demonstrators who attempted to reach the demonstration site and as a result injured 3 children during demonstrations in Kafr Qaddum village.

Settlers Attacks

At 20:50, Israeli settlers positioned near Jinsafut village stoned Mufid Imad Al-Khatib {A resident of Biet Rima town} as he was travelling in his vehicle and as a result left him hospitalized with a severe eye injury.

Injuries

1. Israeli forces injured 3 unidentified residents during demonstrations in Kafr Qaddum village.
2. Israeli settlers stoned Mufid Imad Al-Khatib {A resident of Beit Rima town} as he was travelling in his vehicle and as a result left him hospitalised with a sever eye injury near Jinsafut village

NABLUS

Military Checkpoints

At 18:00, Israeli forces intensified their restrictions at Huwwara Military checkpoint and impeded the free flow of traffic until 20:00.

SALFIT

At 12:10, Israeli forces intensified their restrictions at Za'tara checkpoint junction and impeded the free flow of traffic.

1. At 14:55, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the North entrance of Salfit city then searched residents and vehicles.
2. At 18:00, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the south entrance of Kafil Harris town then searched residents and vehicles.

1. At 22:30, Israeli forces raided Qarwat Bani Hassan town until 23:15.
2. At 05:50, Israeli forces raided Salfit city until 07:00.

JERICHO

At 18:25, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the south entrance of Jericho city then searched residents and vehicles until 18:55.

BETHLEHEM

1. At 13:45, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint near Dar Salah village bridge {located at the east entrance of Beit Sahour city} then searched residents and vehicles until 14:45.
2. At 15:45, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Hussan village then searched residents and vehicles.

Attack

At 13:30, Israeli forces positioned in the vicinity of Billal Bin Rabah mosque located in North Bethlehem city fired rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas grenades towards several residents for alleged stoning and as a result injured a resident and left several others suffocated from tear gas inhalation.

Israeli forces injured a unidentified resident during confrontations near Billal Bin Rabah mosque located in North Bethlehem city

HEBRON

Flying Checkpoints

At 14:30, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint near the entrance of Yatta town then searched residents and vehicles.

Raid

At 15:55, Israeli forces raided Bani Na'im town and clashed with several residents.

Attack

At 15:55, Israeli forces fired stun and tear gas grenades towards several residents for alleged stoning during their raid into Bani Na'im town.

GAZA STRIP

ALL DISTRICTS

• Since 19:00 on August 26th 2014, Palestinian Gunmen and the Israeli military agreed to a cease fire agreement (brokered by the Arab Republic of Egypt) which includes the opening of border crossings to allow the entry of emergency supplies and humanitarian goods as well as construction material and agreed to increase the fishing limit to 6 nautical miles with possibility of increase to 12 nautical miles by the end of the year and to decrease the Military area to 100 meters, allow freedom of movement and a halt to targeted killings and assassinations and negotiations will be held for discussion on rebuilding the sea port and airports in the coming month.

Israeli Military forces broke the ceasefire agreement by opening fire from their positions behind the Green line towards Gaza and Khan Yunis districts.
Israeli Naval vessels broke the ceasefire agreement by opening fire towards Palestinian fishing boats off the shores of North Gaza city.

NORTHERN GAZA

Closure of Crossing Points

* Beit Hanun (Erez) crossing is partially open for the passage of critical patients, journalists, NGO staff, businesspersons and passengers travelling abroad through Al-Karama crossing with previous coordination.

Attack

At 10:00 on April 14th 2017, Israeli Naval vessels opened fire towards Palestinian fishing boats off the shores of Al-Sudaniya area located in west Beit Lahiya town.

GAZA

Closure of Crossing Points

* Al-Muntar (Karni) Crossing is closed. Beginning on 02 March 2011, the Crossing has been effectively closed following a unilateral Israeli decision.
* Al-Shija’iya (Nahal ‘Oz) Crossing is closed. Beginning on 04 January 2010, the Crossing has closed following a unilateral Israeli decision.

Attack

At 07:30 on April 14th 2017, Israeli forces positioned behind the Green Line opened fire towards agricultural land located in east Jahir Al-Dik town located in east Gaza city.

KHAN YUNIS

Attack

At 08:00 on April 14th 2017, Israeli forces positioned behind the Green Line opened fire towards agricultural land in east Khan Yunis.

RAFAH

Closure of Crossing Points

* Yasser ‘Arafat International Airport remains closed.
* Rafah (Al ‘Awdah) Crossing is closed.
* Sufa Crossing is closed.
* Karm Abu Salem (Karem Shalom) Crossing is partially open for the entry of goods, fuel, construction material for the private sector and internationally funded projects.
