JERUSALEM

Military Checkpoints

On the afternoon of December 13th 2018, Israeli forces closed Qalandiya military checkpoint and impeded the free flow of traffic until reopening it at a later time.

Flying Checkpoints

At 13:40, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint in the area between Hizma town and Jaba; village then searched residents and vehicles.

Raid

1. At 22:00, Israeli forces raided Anata town and detained a resident.
2. At 04:30, Israeli forces raided Al-Eizariya town and detained a resident.
3. At dawn on December 14th 2018, Israeli forces raided Abu Dis town and detained 2 residents.

Detention

1. At dawn on December 13th 2018, Israeli forces detained Mahmoud Yacoub Abu Assab in the old city of Jerusalem.
2. At 18:45, Israeli forces detained Alaa AL-Fakhouri {A resident of Wadi Al-Joz neighborhood in Jerusalem city}.
3. At 19:00, Israeli forces detained Mahmoud Ashour {A resident of Ras Al-Amoud neighborhood in Jerusalem city}.
4. At 22:40, Israeli forces detained Mu'tamid Anis Subieh {A resident of Hizma town} after he allegdly attempted a car ramming attack near "Kokhav Yacoub" settlement.
5. At 05:00, Israeli forces detained 2 residents: Nour Al-Din Salim Tawfiq and Azzun Hytham Hussien Za'anin in Wadi Al-Juz area in Jerusalem city.
6. At dawn on December 14th 2018, Israeli forces positioned at Qalandiya military checkpoint detained Mohammad Mutier.
7. Israeli forces detained Khalid Matawi' in Anata town.
8. Israeli forces detained Sabah Mohammad Ahmad Far'oun in Al-Eizariya town.
9. Israeli forces detained Shadi Shukri Mahmoud Al-Hanish and Shukri Mohammad Shukri Al-Hanish in Abu Dis town.

Temporary Detention

On December 13th 2018, Israeli authorities in Jerusalem city issued orders for 7 residents to home detention i and fined them 500 NIS each as a condition for their release after being detained at an earlier time.

Obstruction of Places of Worship

At 09:30, a group of Israeli settlers under the protection of Israeli Military and Police officers stormed Al-Aqsa mosque compound and provoked worshipers.

Settlers Attacks

1. At 18:15, Israeli settlers positioned near the entrance of Mukhmas town stoned several vehicles.
2. At 23:30 a group of Israeli settlers positioned near "Kiryat Zever" settlement assaulted Nidal Al-Fuqiya {A resident of Shu'fat camp in Jerusalem city}.

RAMALLAH & AL BIREH

Closure (per District)

On December 13th 2018, Israeli Military forces imposed a full closure of Ramallah and Al-Bireh cities {after unidentified persons opened fire towards several Israeli soldiers positioned near "Jivat Assaf" settlement located in east Beitin village and as a result killed 2 Israeli soldiers and injured 2 others} and installed several military checkpoints at the entrances of the cities.

Military Checkpoints

At 11:35, Israeli forces closed "Al-Mahkamka" military checkpoint located near "Bet El" settlement in North Al-Bireh city {after unidentified persons opened fire towards several Israeli soldiers positioned near "Jivat Assaf" settlement located in east Beitin village and as a result killed 2 Israeli soldiers and injured 2 others} and prevented the flow of traffic from both directions.

Flying Checkpoints

On December 13th 2018, Israeli forces set up 9 military checkpoints at the entrances of Silwad, Beit Liqya towns and Al-Nabi Saleh, Ein Yabroud, Ein Sinya, Ras Kar Kar, Khirbithat Al-Misbah villages and Atara town bridge then searched residents and vehicles.

Raid

1. At 11:50, Israeli forces raided Beitin village {after unidentified persons opened fire towards several Israeli soldiers positioned near "Jivat Assaf" settlement located in east Beitin village and as a result killed 2 Israeli soldiers and injured 2 others} then stormed and searched several homes and searched several open area's of agricultural land.
2. At 12:25, Israeli forces raided Al-Bireh city {after unidentified persons opened fire towards several Israeli soldiers positioned near "Jivat Assaf" settlement located in east Beitin village and as a result killed 2 Israeli soldiers and injured 2 others} , stormed and searched several homes, merchants shops and The Palestinian Olympic Committee headquarter after detaining several of its workers into a room during which they clashed with several residents and as a result injured 2 residents and detained 4 others.
3. At 17:20, Israeli forces raided Beitin village, clashed with several residents and as a result injured a resident.
4. At 03:30, Israeli forces raided Ramallah city and detained a resident.
5. At 04:10, Israeli forces raided Surda village.
6. At 04:40, Israeli forces raided Beituniya and Beit Liqya towns and detained 2 residents.
7. At 04:40, Israeli forces raided Kobar village then stormed and searched several homes.
8. At dawn on December 14th 2018, Israeli forces raided Al-Liban Al-Gharbiya village and detained a journalist.

Detention

1. At 18:00, Israeli forces detained Issam Omar Ali Abu Aliya {A resident of Al-Mughier village} near Turmus'aya town.
2. Israeli forces detained 4 residents: Sa'id Husam al-Faqih, Mohammed Mar'i al-Zubaidi, residents of 'Abwain, Usama Zaher al-Rimawi, {A resident of Beit Rima Town}, Mohammed al-Qadi {a resident of Al-Bireh city} and Ma'ad' Abdo Dahadha {a resident of Al-Bireh city} in Al-Bireh city.
3. Israeli forces detained Moath Obada Dahaha in Ramallah city.
4. Israeli forces detained 2 residents: Mohammed Hashayka {A resident of Beitunia town} and Ahmad Najib Mufarja - {A resident of Beit Liqya town} in Beituniya and Beit Liqya towns.
5. Israeli forces detained Musa Salah Samhan in Al-Liban Al-Gharbiya village.

Attack

1. At 12:25, Israeli forces fired rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents for alleged stoning as they stormed and searched several homes and merchant shops during their raid into Al-Bireh city and as a result injured 2 residents.
2. At 13:20, Israeli forces positioned near the North entrance of Al-Bireh city fired rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents for alleged stoning.
3. At 13:35, Israeli forces positioned near "Ein Ariq" village junction fired stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents for alleged stoning.
4. At 16:15, Israeli forces positioned in Al-Bireh city opened fire towards a vehicle and as a result killed the driver.
5. At 17:20, Israeli forces fired rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents for alleged stoning during their raid into Beitin village and as a result injured a resident.

Killings

Israeli forces opened fire towards and killed Hamdan Tawfiq Naji Alk-Arda {58 years old}{A resident of Arraba town in Jenin district} as he was driving his vehicle in Al-Bireh city.

Injuries

1. Israeli forces injured 2 unidentified residents in Al-Bireh city.
2. Israeli forces injured Raed Tayi' during clashes in Beitin village.

Assault on Governmental Institutions

At 12:25, Israeli forces stormed The Palestinian Olympic Committee headquarter, stormed and searched and attempted to confiscate surveillance camera footage but were prevented by the employees from taking them during their raid into Al-Bireh city.

Settlers Attacks

1. At 17:50, a group of Israeli settlers positioned near "Shilo" settlement junction stoned residents and vehicles passing along the main road connecting Ramallah and Nablus city.
2. At 20:00, a group of Israeli settlers positioned near the entrance of Yabroud town stoned residents and vehicles.
3. At 21:00, a group of Israeli settlers positioned near "Halmish" settlement assaulted Maher Kamal Al-Rimawi.
4. On the evening of December 13th 2018, a group of Israeli settlers from "Bet El" settlement attacked several homes near Al-Jalazoun camp.
5. On the evening of December 13th 2018, a group of Israeli settlers from "Ofra" settlement opened fire towards several homes in Ein Yabroud village as they attempted to storm the village during which local residents were able to chase them out of the village.

TULKAREM

Military Checkpoints

On December 13th 2018, Israeli forces intensified their restrictions at "Enav" military checkpoint and impeded the free flow of traffic.

Raid

At 15:55 and again at 18:55, Israeli forces raided Shwika neighborhood in Tulkarem city, clashed with several residents and detained 3 residents.

Detention

Israeli forces detained 3 residents: Saher Azzam Adhiliyeh, Mushir Talal Jaber and Nidal Fouad Ekkareeb in Shwika neighborhood in Tulkarem city.

Attack

1. At 10:20, Israeli forces positioned at the wall gate located in Shwika neighborhood in Tulkarem city fired rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents for alleged stoning.
2 . At 15:40, Israeli forces positioned at the wall gate located in Quffin town fired rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents {who protesting against the Israeli Military killing of 2 resident} for alleged stoning.
3. At 15:55, Israeli forces fired stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents for alleged stoning during their raid into Shwika neighborhood in Tulkarem city.

Settlers Attacks

At 23:20, a group of Israeli settlers positioned near the entrance of Rammin village stoned and smashed the windshield of a vehicle owned by Fadi Abdel-Hafith Soliman.

QALQILIYA

Flying Checkpoints

1. At 13:15, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at Jit village junction then searched residents and vehicles until 15:00.
2. At 16:40, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint near "Qaddumim" settlement junction and detained a resident.
3. At 18:30, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the east entrance of Qalqiliya city then searched residents and vehicles.

Detention

Israeli forces positioned at a checkpoint near "Qaddumim" settlement junction detained Omar Marmish {A resident of Nablus city}.

Settlers Attacks

1. At 14:00, a group of Israeli settlers positioned along the main road near Kafr Laqif village stoned several vehicles travelling along the road.
2. At 19:00, a group of Israeli settlers stormed Jit village, stoned several homes during which Israeli forces fired stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents who attempted to prevent the settler attack.
3. At 03:03, Israeli settlers positioned near Immatin village stoned several vehicles.

At 19:00, Israeli forces fired stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents who attempted to prevent Israeli settlers who stormed Jit village.

NABLUS

Military Checkpoints

1. At 12:15, Israeli forces intensified their restrictions at Huwara military checkpoint and impeded the free flow of traffic.
2. At 12:30, Israeli forces intensified their restrictions at Beit Furiq military checkpoint and impeded the free flow of traffic until 14:00.

Flying Checkpoints

At 12:55, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at Assira Al-Shamaliya town junction then searched residents and vehicles until 15:00.

Raid

1. At 01:30, Israeli forces raided Nablus city, detained 3 residents {including a University lecturer and a PLC member} then withdrew at 04:30.
2. At 03:00, Israeli forces raided Madma village and detained a resident.
3. At 03:50, Israeli forces raided Rujieb village and detained a resident.
4. At dawn on December 14th 2018, Israeli forces raided Beita town and detained a resident.

Detention

1. Israeli forces detained 3 residents : Mustafa Al-Shunar { a University lecturer}, Yasser Mansour {a PLC member} and Yusef Dwikat in Nablus city.
2. Israeli forces detained Mohammad Zaher Al-Qat in Madma village.
3. Israeli forces detained Abdel-Karim Majed Halabi in Rujieb village.
4. Israeli forces detained Samer Mohammad Jamil Hamayil in Beita town.

Attack

1. At 12:20, Israeli forces positioned near the entrance of Burin village fired stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents for alleged stoning.
2. At 13:20, Israeli forces positioned near Al-Libban Al-Sharqiya village fired rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents for alleged stoning and as a result injured 8 residents.

Settlers Attacks

1. At 12:10, a group of Israeli settlers positioned near "Yitshar" settlement located in North Huwara town stoned residents and vehicles and as a result injured a resident who was struck in the head.
2. At 13:25, Israeli settlers opened fire towards the home of Abdel-Bassit Ahmad {A resident of Assira Al-Qabliya village} which is located near "Yits'har settlement.
3. At 13:45, a group of Israeli settlers positioned near Assira Al-Qaibliya village stoned several residents and as a result injured a resident after a stone struck in the head.
4. At 16:15, a group of Israeli settlers positioned in North Burqa village junction stoned residents and vehicles travelling along the main road connecting Nablus and Jenin.
5. At 17:30, a group of Israeli settlers positioned near "Shavie Shamron" settlement junction stoned residents and vehicles travelling along the main road connecting Nablus and Jenin.
6. At 18:10, a group of Israeli settlers positioned near Beit Furiq Military checkpoint stoned vehicles passing through the checkpoint,
7. At 18:10, a group of Israeli settlers positioned near Huwara town stoned the home of Yunis Marhij Damini and as a result damaged his home.
8. At 20:50, a group of Israeli settlers positioned at the entrance of Yatma village stoned residents and vehicles and as a result damaged 2 vehicles owned by Ibrahim Sanour and Rami Abdel-Salam Najjar.
9. At 20:55, a group of Israeli settlers positioned near Qablan town junction toned residents and vehicles and as a result damaged a vehicle owned by Hytham Kafinat.

Injuries

1. Israeli forces injured 8 unidentified residents during clashes near Al-Libban Al-Sharqiya village.
2. Israeli settler stoning attacks near Yitshar" settlement located in North Huwara town injured Ahmad Falah Odah {A resident of Tulkarem city}.
3. Israeli settlers injured Issa Mohammad Hamdan {A resident of Assira Al-Qibliya village} near Assira Al-Qibliya village.

SALFIT

Military Checkpoints

At 12:55, Israeli forces intensified their restrictions at Zaa'tara junction military checkpoint and impeded the free flow of traffic.

Flying Checkpoints

1. At 12:20, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at Qarwat Bani Hassan town junction then searched residents and vehicles.
2. At 23:00, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Marda village then searched residents and vehicles until 00:50.

Detention

At 18:30, Israeli forces positioned near "Brukan" settlement detained Marwan Jum'a Ahmad Hassan {A resident of Ramallah city}.

Settlers Attacks

At 18:10, a group of Israeli settlers positioned at Zatara junction military checkpoint stoned residents and vehicles passing through the checkpoint and as a result damaged a vehicle owned by Assad Salah Abdallah {A resident of Nablus city}.

JERICHO

Military Checkpoints

At 19:40, Israeli forces intensified their restrictions at Al-Hamra military checkpoint and impeded the free flow of traffic until 20:30.

Flying Checkpoints

1. At 10:45, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint along road 90 then searched residents and vehicles until 12:15.
2. At 16:20, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint along Al-Mu'arajat road {which connects Ramallah & Al-Bireh and Jericho district} then searched residents and vehicles until 17:30.

BETHLEHEM

Flying Checkpoints

At 17:15, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint near the entrance of Za'tara town then searched residents and vehicles until 18:00.

Raid

1. At 20:10, Israeli forces raided Al-Khader town, clashed with several residents as they stormed and searched several homes, detained 2 children then withdrew at 22:30.
2. At 03:05, Israeli forces raided Bethlehem city, Ayda and Azza camps, Teqou' and Jinata towns and Harmala village, stormed and searched several homes and detained 10 residents.
3. At 04:50, Israeli forces raided Za'tara town, stormed and searched a home then withdrew at 05:00.

Detention

1. Israeli forces detained 2 residents: Mohammad Khalid Khalil Salah {14 yearss old} and Qutayba Ibrahim Subieh {16 years old} in Al-Khader town.
2. Israeli forces detained 10 residents: Yassine Mamoun Badir, Mohammed Dheeb al-Badawneh, Jamal Sulaiman Radi, Abdel Razak Badwan, Hamza Abdel-Aziz Abu Sorour - all residents of Aida camp - Issa Mustafa El Arouj - a resident of Jannatah village, Mohammed Adel Attallah - a resident of al-'Ezza camp, Yahya Hani Sa'ada -a resident of Bethlehem city, and 'Adi Mahmoud Abu Farah - a resident of the town of Taqwa during their raids into Bethlehem city, Ayda and Al-Ezza camps, Teqou' and Jinata towns and Harmala village

At 20:10, Israeli forces fired stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents for alleged stoning as they stormed and searched several homes during their raid into Al-Khader town.

At 17:15, a group of Israeli settlers from "Kafr Itsiyon" settlement closed the main road connecting Bethlehem and Hebron districts then stoned several vehicles and as a result damaged a vehicle owned by Kathim Mohammad Hamdan.

HEBRON

1. At 13:25, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Bani Na'im town then searched residents and vehicles until 16:00.
2. At 17:50, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the North entrance of Halhul town then searched residents and vehicles.

Raid

1. At 02:10, Israeli forces raided Yatta town, detained a resident and summoned Samir Ibhies to report to Israeli Intellegnce for questioning.
2. At 07:10, Israeli forces raided Hebron city, detained 6 residents {including a Palestinian Police Officer} and confiscated camera's and cell phones owned by Raed Al-Sharif {A journalist}.
3. At dawn on December 14th 2018, Israeli forces raided Al-Thahriya town and detained a PLC member.
4. At dawn on December 14th 2018, Israeli forces raided Ithna town and detained 4 residents.
5. At dawn on December 14th 2018, Israeli forces raided Beit Kahil town and detained a resident.

Detention

1. Israeli forces detained Yasser Khalid Mahmoud Al-Najjar in Yatta town.
2. Israeli forces detained 6 residents: Hassan Fallah Ahmad Al Natsheh {A Palestinian Police Officer}, Amjad Abdul Razek Al Rajabi, Mohammed Jouda Abu Omar, Bilal Salim Salhab, Moataz Mohammad Adnan Abu Zainah and Mazen Al Natsheh in Hebron city.
3. Israeli forces detained Mohammad Ismail Al-Tal {a PLC member} in Al-Thahriya town.
4. Israeli forces detained 4 residents: Al-Mutawakil Allah Muhammad Abu Jhaisha, Mo'adh Muhammad Abu Juhaisha, Ra'fat Raed Mutlaq Abu Juhaisha, Raouf Raed Mutlaq Abu Jhaisha in Ithna town.
5. Israeli forces detained Sa'ed Ali Mohammad Assafrat in Beit Kahil town.

Confiscation of Property

At 07:10, Israeli forces confiscated camera's and cell phones owned by Raed Al-Sharif {A journalist}. in Hebron city.

Closure of main Roads

On December 13th 2018, Israeli forces closed the entrances of Al-Arroub and Al-Fuwar camps with steel gates.

Settlers Attacks

1. At 17:30, a group of Israeli settlers stoned vehicles travelling along road 60.
2. At 18:15, a group of Israeli settlers positioned near "Karmi Tsur" settlement stoned residents and vehicles travelling along the main road connecting Hebron and Bethlehem districts..
3. At 18:20, a group of Israeli settlers positioned near Beit Einoun village junction stoned residents and vehicles travelling along the main road connecting Hebron and Bethlehem districts and a as result injured Yusef Ibrahim Abu Jahishat {A resident of Ithna town} leaving him hospitalized with contusions.
4. At 19:45, a group of Israeli settlers positioned along bypass road 35 stoned a ambulance for the Palestine Red Crescent Society.
5. At 20:20, Israeli settlers positioned near the entrance of "Noghohat" settlement stoned residents and vehicles.

Injuries

Yusef Ibrahim Abu Jahishat {A resident of Ithna town} was hospitalized with contusions after Israeli settlers stoned his vehicle along near Beit Einoun village junction.

GAZA STRIP

ALL DISTRICTS

• Since 19:00 on August 26th 2014, Palestinian Gunmen and the Israeli military agreed to a cease fire agreement (brokered by the Arab Republic of Egypt) which includes the opening of border crossings to allow the entry of emergency supplies and humanitarian goods as well as construction material and agreed to increase the fishing limit to 6 nautical miles with possibility of increase to 12 nautical miles by the end of the year and to decrease the Military area to 100 meters, allow freedom of movement and a halt to targeted killings and assassinations and negotiations will be held for discussion on rebuilding the seaport and airports and on May 4th 2017, Israeli authorities increased the fishing limit to 9 nautical miles from Wadi Gaza until the south border of the Gaza strip and on June 26th 2017 Israeli forces decreased the fishing limit back to 6 nautical miles and on October 17th 2017, Israeli forces increased the fishing limit back to 9 nautical miles and on December 12th 2017 reduced fishing area from 9 nautical miles to 6 nautical miles south of Wadi Gaza and opposite to Rafah and on July 17th 2018, Israeli forces reduced the fishing area from 6 nautical miles to 3 nautical miles, On August 15th 2018, Israeli forces increased the fishing area from 3 nautical miles up to 9 nautical miles from the coast of Al-Badeir area located in Central Gaza up to Rafah district located South of the Gaza strip and on October 6th 2018, Israeli forces decreased the fishing limit to 3 nautical miles to the all Gaza strip coasts and on October 31st 2018 increased the fishing limit to 6 nautical miles to the all Gaza strip coasts.

• The Israeli Military broke the ceasefire agreement by raiding North Gaza district.

NORTHERN GAZA

Closure of Crossing Points

* Beit Hanun (Erez) crossing is partially open for the passage of critical patients, journalists, NGO staff, businesspersons and passengers travelling abroad through Al-Karama crossing with previous coordination.

Raid

At 07:45 on December 13th 2018, Israeli forces escorting Military bulldozers stormed 50 m into the vicinity of North Beit Lahiya town and opened fire as they leveled a plot of land then withdrew at 15:00.

Detention

At 11:30 on December 12th 2018, Israeli forces positioned at Beit Hanoun-Erez crossing detained Fadi Kamal Abbas Abu Wardat {A merchant}{A resident of Jabaliya town in North Gaza district}.

GAZA

Closure of Crossing Points

* Al-Muntar (Karni) Crossing is closed. Beginning on 02 March 2011, the Crossing has been effectively closed following a unilateral Israeli decision.
* Al-Shija’iya (Nahal ‘Oz) Crossing is closed. Beginning on 04 January 2010, the Crossing has closed following a unilateral Israeli decision.

RAFAH

Closure of Crossing Points

* Yasser ‘Arafat International Airport remains closed.
*Rafah (Al ‘Awdah) Crossing is open for the exit and entry of residents.
* Sufa Crossing is closed.
* Karm Abu Salem (Karem Shalom) Crossing is partially open for the entrance of Humanitarian aid, limited supplies of Diesel fuel and construction material for Internationally funded projects.
