WEST BANK

JERUSALEM

Closure

Since 24:00 on July 20th 2017, Israeli forces continued their closure of Jerusalem city and Al-Aqsa mosque compound in the old city of Jerusalem by installing several checkpoints around the area and prevented all Male residents under 50 years of age from entering until 18:00 on July 21st 2017.

Military Checkpoints

At 11:30, Israeli forces intensified their restrictions at Hizma checkpoint and impeded the free flow of traffic.

Detention

1. At 13:30, Israeli forces detained Richard Zananeri {A resident of the old city of Jerusalem}.
2. At 17:00, Israeli forces detained Mohammad Mahmoud Yusef Abu Haniya {A resident of Anata town}.
3. At 17:00, Israeli forces detained Nadeem Abdel-Hameed Akramah Abed Al-Jabbar {A resident of Hizma town}.
4. At 22:30, Israeli forces detained Ibrahim Abu Arafa {A resident of Jerusalem city}.
5. At 23:50, Israeli forces detained 8 residents: Obada Samir Yusef Najib, Mohammad Samir Yusef Najeeb, Ibrahim Abu Sineneh, Mohammad Al-Hazina, Hamoudeh Abu Sineneh, Munthir Daud Najeeb, Alaa Munthir Daud Najeeb and Yusef Majed Abdel-Mu'ti Hazina in Al-Tur neighborhood in Jerusalem city.
At 23:50, Israeli forces detained 8 residents in Al-Tur neighborhood

Settlers Attacks

At 10:15, a Israeli settler positioned near Ras Al-Amoud neighborhood in Jerusalem city opened fire towards the child Mohammad Mahmoud Sharaf {17 years old} and as a result killed him.

Attack

1. At 10:15, a Israeli settler opened fire towards and killed a child near Ras Al-Amoud neighborhood in Jerusalem city.
2. At 10:15, Israeli forces positioned in Ras Al-Amoud neighborhood fired live ammunition, rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas grenades towards several residents for alleged stoning.
3. At 12:10, Israeli forces positioned in Bab Al-Abbsat gate {A main gate entrance leading to Al-Aqsa mosque compound} in the old city of Jerusalem fired rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas grenades towards several residents for alleged stoning.
4. At 12:15, Israeli forces positioned at Qalandiya Military checkpoint fired rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas grenades towards several residents for alleged stoning as they participated in demonstrations protesting agianst the Israeli Military restrictions in Al-Aqsa Mosque compound and as a result injured a resident and left 10 others suffocated from tear gas inhalation.
5. At 14:10, Israeli forces positioned in Al-Tur neighborhood in Jerusalem city fired live ammunition, rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas grenades towards several residents for alleged stoning and as a result injured 2 residents.
6. At 14:15, Israeli forces positioned in Al-Eizariya and Abu Dis towns fired live ammunition,fired rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas grenades towards several residents for alleged stoning as they participated in demonstrations protesting agianst the Israeli Military restrictions in Al-Aqsa Mosque compound and as a result killed a resident in Abu Dis town.
7. At 22:30, Israeli forces fired stun and tear gas grenades towards several residents for alleged stoning in Silwan neighborhood in Jerusalem city.
8. At 22:30, Israeli forces positioned at Al-Jabal area junction and Ras Kabsa area in Abu Dis town fired d live ammunition, rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas grenades towards several residents for alleged stoning and as a result injured 5 residents and left 3 others suffocated from tear gas inhalation.
9. At 23:50, Israeli forces positioned in Al-Tur neighborhood in Jerusalem city fired rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas grenades towards several residents for alleged stoning.

Killings

1. Israeli forces opened fire towards and killed Mohammad Mahmoud Sharaf {13 years old} in Ras Al-Amoud neighborhood in Jerusalem city.
2. Israeli forces opened fire towards and killed Mohammad Hassan Abu Ghannam {20 years old} during clashes in Al-Tur neighborhood in Jerusalem city.
3. Israeli forces opened fire towards and killed Mohammad Khalaf Lafi {18 years old} in Abu Dis town.

Injuries

1. Israeli forces injured 9 residents{ of those identified}: Affif Amerah(A journalist) and Khalil Bashir during clashes in Bab Al-Abbsat gate {A main gate entrance leading to Al-Aqsa mosque compound} in the old city of Jerusalem.
2. Israeli forces injured a unidentified resident during clashes near Qalandiya Military checkpoint.
3. Israeli forces injured 2 residents: Ibrahim Ali Abu Jum'a and Mohammad Khalid Abu Ghannam during clashes in Al-Tur neighborhood in Jerusalem city.
4. Israeli forces injured 6 residents {of them identified are}: Hytham Mahmoud Mohammad Ayad during clashes in Al-Jabal area junction and Ras Kabsa area in Abu dis town.

Assault on medical sector

On July 21st 2017, Israeli forces fired stun and tear gas grenades towards inside sections of Al-Makassed Hospital as they attempted to detained several wounded individuales.

Obstruction of Places of Worship

On July 21st 2017, Israeli Authorities continued its restrictions by preventing worshipers from entering Al-Aqsa mosque compound until after they pass through metal detectors which were placed outside the mosque gates in an attempt to change the status quo in the old city which was in place since 1967 during which resiednts refused to enter through the medal detectors and continued their peaceful protest by praying outside the walls of the old city.

RAMALLAH & AL BIREH

Flying Checkpoints

At 00:10, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Turmus'aya town then searched residents and vehichles.

Raid

1. At 17:25, Israeli forces raided Al-Bireh city.
2. At 05:15, Israeli forces raided Kobar village, stormed and searched the home of Omar Abd Al-Khalil Zibar {who Killed 3 Israeli settlers and injured another inside "Halmish" settlement} and detained 2 residents.

Detention

1. At 23:30, Israeli forces detained Omar Abdel-Khalil {a resident of Kobar village} after he shot and injured by a Israeli settler as he stabbed 4 Israeli settlers which killed 3 and injured 1 in Halamish settlement}.
2. Israeli forces detained Muneer Abdel-Khalil Abdel-Jabbar Zibar and Mohammad Asfour Al-Barghouthi in Kobar village.

Demonstrations

At 13:30, demonstrations took place in Ni'lin and Bil'in towns and Al-Nabi Saleh village protesting against the construction of the wall during which they clashed with Israeli forces and as a result injured 2 residents from Ni'lin town and Al-Nabi Saleh village.

Attack

At 13:30,Israeli forces forces fired rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas grenades towards several demonstrators Ni'lin and Bil'in towns and Al-Nabi Saleh village during protesting against the construction of the wall and as a result injured 2 residents.

Injuries

1. At 23:30, Omar Abdel-Al-Khalil Zibar {19 years old} {A residents of Kubar village} was injured after he was shot by a Israeli settler as he stabbed 4 Israeli settlers which killed 3 and injured 1 in Halamish settlement}.
2. Israeli forces injured Ronni Nidal Nafe' {A resident of Ni'lin town} and Yazan Issam Al-Tammimi {A resident of Al-Nabi Saleh village} during protesting against the construction of the wall in Ni'lin and Bil'in towns and Al-Nabi Saleh village.

TULKAREM

Military Checkpoints

At 08:40, Israeli forces intensified their restrictions at "Enav" Military checkpoint and impeded the free flow of traffic until 09:15.

Flying Checkpoints

At 23:55, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint near "Ghishour" factories located in west Tulkarem city then searched residents and vehicles until 00:30.

Raid

At 17:55, Israeli forces raided Tulkarem city and detained 8 residents {including 3 children} then withdrew at 18:20.

Detention

Israeli forces detained 8 residents: Mohammad Hatem Fuqaha {15 years old}, Mohammad Hatem Omar {14 years old}, Yazan Sa'ed Hashim Bartan {16 years old}, Ahmad Marwan Ahmad Abu Al-Kabash, Ammar Yacoub Masaud Shinar, Mahmoud Maher Habib, Mohammad Jihad Salah Irmeleh and Balkhir Issam Qunbar in Tulkarem city.

Attack

At 13:00, Israeli forces positioned in the vicinity of Ghishour" factories located in west Tulkarem city fired rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas grenades towards several residents for alleged stoning as they participated in demonstrations protesting against the Israeli restrictions placed at the entrances of Al-Aqsa mosque compound and as a result left 6 residents suffocated from tear gas inhalation.

QALQILIYA

Flying Checkpoints

1. At 09:15, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the east entrance of east Qalqilya city then searched residents and vehicles.
2. At 09:55, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Izbit Al-Tabib village then searched residents and vehicles.

Demonstrations

At 13:00, a demonstration took place in Kafr Qaddum village against the closure of the east entrance during which they clashed with Israeli forces tried to disrupt the demonstration by firing stun and tear gas grenades towards demonstrators who attempted to reach the demonstration site and as a result left 3 resiednts suffocated from tear gas inhalation.

Attack

1. At 13:30, Israeli forces fired live ammunition, rubber coated steel bullets. stun and tear gas grenades towards several residents for alleged stoning during demonstrations in Kafr Qaddum village protesting against the east entrance of the village and as a result injured a resident.
2. At 13:35, Israeli forces positioned at the wall gate in Jayyus town fired stun and tear gas grenades towards several residents for alleged stoning.
3. At 14:40, Israeli forces positioned at the entrance of Azzun town fired rubber coated steel bullets. stun and tear gas grenades towards several residents for alleged stoning and as a result injured a resident.
4. At 18:00, Israeli forces positioned at "Ayil" military checkpoint in North Qalqilya city fired rubber coated steel bullets. stun and tear gas grenades towards several residents for alleged stoning and detained 2 children.

Detention

Israeli forces detained 2 residents: Khalid Nael Abdel-Hafith {16 years old} and Hamzah Yusef Ja'idi {17 years old} during clashes near "Ayal" Military checkpoint in North Qalqilya city.

Injuries

1. Israeli forces injured 2 unidentified residents during clashes near the entrance of Kafr Qaddum village.
2. Israeli forces injured Abdel-Azziz Sa'id Hussien during confrontations near the entrance of Azzun town.

NABLUS

Flying Checkpoints

At 15:20, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at Jama'in town junction then searched residents and vehicles.

Attack

At 15:30, Israeli forces positioned at Huwara Military checkpoint fired rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas grenades towards several residents for alleged stoning during demonstrations protesting the restrictions placed on Al-Aqsa mosque compound and as a result injured 3 residents.

Injuries

Israeli forces injured 3 residents: Ahmad Mohammad Da'abis, Tamer Mustafa Lafi and Nidal Ali Nayef Ahed during clashes near Huwara checkpoint in South Nablus city.

Settlers Attacks

At 18:25, Israeli settlers stormed Assira Al-Qibliya and set fire to agricultural land.

SALFIT

Flying Checkpoints

1. At 08:40, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the North entrance of Salfit city then searched residents and vehicles until 09:30.
2. At 12:30, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint beneath Iskaka village bridge then searched residents and vehicles.

Raid

At 23:30, Israeli forces raided Kafil Harris town and clashed with several residents.

Attack

1.At 14:50, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint near the North entrance of Salfit city fired stun and tear gas grenades towards several residents for alleged stoning.
2. At 23:30, Israeli forces fired stun and tear gas grenades towards several residents for alleged stoning during their raid into Kafil Harris town.

JERICHO

Flying Checkpoints

At 08:40, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the south entrance of Jericho city then searched residents and vehicles until 16:45.

Attack

At 13:55, Israeli forces positioned near the south entrance of Jericho city fired stun and tear gas grenades towards several residents for alleged stoning during demonstrations protesting agianst restrictions placed on Al-Aqsa mosque compound and as a result injured 2 residents.

Injuries

Israeli forces injured 2 residents: Sami Mahmoud Abdel-Fattah Atta and Abdallah Omar Hajayjeh during clashes near the south entrance of Jericho city.

BETHLEHEM

Flying Checkpoints

1. At 09:00 and again at 22:40, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint beneath Al-Khader town bridge {located along the main road leading to west Bethlehem district villages} then searched residents and vehicles until 23:35
2. At 22:45, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Beit Fajjar town then searched residents and vehicles until 04:10.
3. At 01:40, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Al-Walajah village then searched residents and vehicles until 01:20.

Raid

At 02:15, Israeli forces raided Teqou' town , stormed and searched several homes and detained a resident.

Detention

Israeli forces detained Mahmoud Hussien Hassan Al-Amour in Teqou; town.

Attack

1. At 11:55, Israeli forces positioned at the vicinity of Billal Bin Rabah mosque located in North Bethlehem city fired rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas grenades towards several residents for alleged stoning and as a result injured 7 residents and left 31 others suffocated from tear gas inhalation.
2. At 13:30, Israeli forces positioned near Khirbiet Al-Deir village fired , stun and tear gas grenades towards several residents for alleged stoning.
3. At 14:30, Israeli forces positioned at the North entrance of Teqou' town fired rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas grenades towards several residents for alleged stoning.
4. At 16:40, Israeli forces positioned along Al-Nashash area junction {located at the south entrance of Bethlehem city} , stun and tear gas grenades towards several residents participating in demonstrations agianst the restrictions placed on Al-Aqsa mosque compound for alleged stoning.
5. At 19:30, Israeli forces positioned near Ayda camp fired stun and tear gas grenades towards several residents for alleged stoning
6.At 22:10, Israeli forces positioned near the entrance of Jinata town fired , stun and tear gas grenades towards several residents for alleged stoning.

Injuries

Israeli forces injured 7 unidentified resiednts during clashes at the vicinity of Billal Bin Rabah mosque located in North Bethlehem city.

HEBRON

Attack

1. At 13:00, Israeli forces positioned at Bab Al-Zawiya area located in the old city of Hebron fired live ammunition, rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas grenades towards several residents participating in demonstrations against restrictions placed on Al-Aqsa mosque compound and as a result injured 9 residents {including a child, 2 critically injured residents and a journalist} and detained a resident.
2. At 13:10, Israeli forces positioned at the entrance of Beit Ummar town fired stun and tear gas grenades towards several resiednts participating in demonstrations against restrictions placed on Al-Aqsa mosque compound and as a result injured 11 residents and detained a resident.
3. At 14:00 and again at 22:10, Israeli forces positioned at Al-Arub camp fired rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas grenades towards several residents for alleged stoning and as a result injured a resident.
4. At 14:10, Israeli forces positioned near the entrance of Zif village fired stun and tear gas grenades towards several residents for alleged stoning.
5. At 19:45, Israeli forces positioned near Beit Einoun village junction fired stun and tear gas grenades towards several resiednts for allaged stoning.

Detention

1. Israeli forces detained Majdi Yasser Bader {A resident of Hebron city} during clashes near Bab Al-Zawiya area in Hebron city.
2. Israeli forces detained Mohammad Thiyab Hamad Sabarnah during clashes near the entrance of Beit Ummar town.

Injuries

1. Israeli forces injured 9 residents :Tareq Ayman Ashour, Qusay al-Qawasmeh{ 14 years old}, Mashhour al-Hawwah [A journalist}, Qusay al-Zughair, Osama Hatem Abu Rummim, Nour Tamer-Eldeen (seriously injured), Mohammed Masauda (seriously injured), Fahed Nasser Al-Din and Ahmad Ihsan Al-Ja'bari during clashes in Bab Al-Zawiya area in Hebron city.
2. Israeli forces injured 11 unidentified residents during clashes at the entrance of Beit Ummar town.
3. Israeli forces injured Mohammad Hadoush during clashes at the entrance of Al-Arub camp.

Assault on medical sector

On July 21st 2017, Israeli forces raided Hebron Governmental Hospital then stormed and searched the hospital.

GAZA STRIP

ALL DISTRICTS

• Since 19:00 on August 26th 2014, Palestinian Gunmen and the Israeli military agreed to a cease fire agreement (brokered by the Arab Republic of Egypt) which includes the opening of border crossings to allow the entry of emergency supplies and humanitarian goods as well as construction material and agreed to increase the fishing limit to 6 nautical miles with possibility of increase to 12 nautical miles by the end of the year and to decrease the Military area to 100 meters, allow freedom of movement and a halt to targeted killings and assassinations and negotiations will be held for discussion on rebuilding the seaport and airports and on May 3rd 2017, Israeli authorities increased the fishing limit to 9 nautical miles from Wadi Gaza until the south border of the Gaza strip

• Israeli Military forces broke the ceasefire agreement by opening fire from their positions behind the Green Line towards North Gaza, Gaza, Central Gaza and Khan Yunis districts and as a result injured 5 residents.
•Israeli Naval vessels broke the ceasefire agreement by opening fire towards Palestinian fishing boats off the shores of Khan Yunis District.

NORTHERN GAZA

Closure of Crossing Points

* Beit Hanun (Erez) crossing is partially open for the passage of critical patients, journalists, NGO staff, businesspersons and passengers travelling abroad through Al-Karama crossing with previous coordination.

Attack

At 16:00 on July 21st 2017, Israeli forces opened fire and launched stun and tear gas grenades towards several residents participating in demonstrations in east Jabaliya town and as a result injured 3 residents.

Injuries

Israeli forces injured 3 unidentified resiednts in east Jabaliya town.

GAZA

Closure of Crossing Points

* Al-Muntar (Karni) Crossing is closed. Beginning on 02 March 2011, the Crossing has been effectively closed following a unilateral Israeli decision.
* Al-Shija’iya (Nahal ‘Oz) Crossing is closed. Beginning on 04 January 2010, the Crossing has closed following a unilateral Israeli decision.

Attack

At 15:30 on July 21st 2017, Israeli forces positioned behind the Green line opened fire towards several demonstrators located in the vicinity Al-Shija’iya (Nahal ‘Oz) Crossing located in east Al-Shija’iya neighborhood in east Gaza city.

CENTRAL GAZA

Attack

At 17:25 on July 21st 2017, Israeli forces positioned behind the Green Line opened fire and launched tear gas grenades towards several demonstrators in east Al-Buriej camp.

Detention

At 16:00 on July 21st 2017, Israeli forces detained a unidentified resiednts as he was attempting to climb the border fence into Israel from east Al-Buriej camp.

KHAN YUNIS

Attack

1. At 10:00 in July 21st 2017, Israeli Naval vessels opened fire towards Palestinian fishing boats off the shores of Khan Yunis city.
2. At 14:00 on July 21st 2017, Israeli forces opened fire and launched tear gas grenades from their positions behind the Green Line towards several demonstrators in east Khuza'a town and as a result injured 2 residents.

Injuries

Israeli forces injured 2 unidentified resiednts during clashes in east Khuza'a town.

RAFAH

Closure of Crossing Points

* Yasser ‘Arafat International Airport remains closed.
* Rafah (Al ‘Awdah) Crossing is closed.
