WEST BANK

JERUSALEM

Detention

On the evening of June 11th 2018, Israeli forces detained Mohammad Abu Adnan {A resident of Balata camp in Nablus city} in Jerusalem city.

RAMALLAH & AL BIREH

Flying Checkpoints

1. At 11:45, Israeli forces set up 2 checkpoints at the entrances of Silwad and beneath Ein Yabroud village bridge then searched residents and vehicles.
2. At 21:20, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Shuqba village then searched residents and vehicles.

Settlers Attacks

At 20:00, a group of Israeli settlers from "Bet El" settlement stoned several residents near UNRWA school in Al-Jalazoun camp.

JENIN

Flying Checkpoints

At 21:40, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Ya'bad town then searched residents and vehicles.

Raid

At dawn on June 11th 2018, Israeli forces raided Araba town, clashed with several residents as they stormed and searched several homes and detained a resident.

Detention

Israeli forces detained Basel Sa'id Raja Rahal in Arraba town.

Attack

At dawn on June 11th 2018, Israeli forces fired stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents for alleged stoning as they stormed and searched several homes during their raid into Araba town.

QALQILIYA

Flying Checkpoints

At 14:15, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Jayyous town then searched residents and vehicles.

NABLUS

Military Checkpoints

At 18:20, Israeli forces intensified their restrictions at Huwarat military checkpoint and impeded the free flow of traffic until 24:00.

Raid

At 03:15, Israeli forces raided Beit Dajjan village and detained a resident.

Detention

Israeli forces detained Suhyaeb Radwan Abu Thabet in Beit Dajjan village.

Settlers Attacks

At 22:00, a group of Israeli settlers from "Yitzhar" settlement stormed agricultural near the outskirts of Burin village and stoned several home and vehicles during which Israeli military forces fired live ammunition, rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents who attempted to prevent the settler attack and as a result injured 2 residents.

Attack

At 22:00, Israeli forces positioned near Burin village fired live ammunition, rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents who attempted to prevent a group of Israeli settlers who stoned residents and homes in the area and as a result injured 2 residents.

Injuries

Israeli forces injured 2 residents: Yazan Khidr Izzat al-Najjar and Hakam Firas Mansour after firing live ammunition, rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents who attempted to prevent a group of Israeli settlers who stoned residents and homes in Burin village.

BETHLEHEM

Detention

1. At 06:50 on June 11th 2018, Israeli forces detained Ahmad Awad Ahmad Al-Ta'mari during their raid into Bethlehem city {in addition to those mentioned in the previous report}.
2. At 23:15, Israeli forces positioned at the North entrance of Bethlehem city detained Omar Sami Al-Harimi {A Palestinian Intelligence agency officer} as he was travelling to Jerusalem for prayers at Al-Aqsa mosque compound in the old city of Jerusalem.

Attack

1. At 10:50, Israeli forces positioned in Wadi Al-Hums area located in Dar Salah village opened fire towards several residents who attempted to enter through the wall gate to pray in Al-Aqsa mosque compound in the old city of Jerusalem and as a result injured a resident.
2. At 21:30, Israeli forces positioned in Wadi Hums area located in North Dar Salah village fired stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents who attempted to enter through the wall gate to pray in Al-Aqsa mosque compound in the old city of Jerusalem

Injuries

Israeli forces injured Abdel-Rahman Khairi Al-Ja'bari after opening fire towards several residents who attempted to enter through the wall gate to pray in Al-Aqsa mosque compound in the old city of Jerusalem.

HEBRON

Flying Checkpoints

1. At 15:55, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at Al-Fah's area located in Hebron city and impeded the free flow of traffic after closing the steel entrance gate then reopened it at a later time.
2. At 19:30, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at Zif village junction and impeded the free flow of traffic after closing the steel entrance gate then reopened it at a later time.

3. At 23:00, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Ithna town then searched residents and vehicles until 00:30.

Raid

1. At dawn on June 11th 2018, Israeli forces raided Dura town and Deir Sammit village then detained 2 residents.
2. At dawn on June 12th 2018, Israeli forces raided Hebron city.

Detention

1. At 05:00 on June 11th 2018, Israeli forces detained Tarik Ayman Ashour during their raid into Hebron city.
2. On June 11th 2018, Israeli forces detained Nidal Ayed Shihadeh Al-Haj {A resident of Halhul town}.
3. At dawn on June 12th 2018, Israeli forces detained 3 residents {including a child}: Mohammed al-Zaghir, Ibrahim Jaber, and Emad Azmi Abu Dawood, 17 years old. in the old city of Hebron.
4. Israeli forces detained 2 residents: Bara' Talahma {A resident of Dura town} and Ismail Mohammad Al-Harub {A resident of Deir Sammit village} during their raid into Dura town and Deir Sammit village.

Attack

1. At 00:55, Israeli forces positioned in the old city of Jerusalem fired stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents in Tariq Bin Zied mosque for alleged stoning and as a result left several worshipers suffocated from tear gas inhalation.
2. At 01:50, Israeli forces positioned near Al-Arrub camp fired stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents for alleged stoning.

GAZA STRIP

ALL DISTRICTS

• Since 19:00 on August 26th 2014, Palestinian Gunmen and the Israeli military agreed to a cease fire agreement (brokered by the Arab Republic of Egypt) which includes the opening of border crossings to allow the entry of emergency supplies and humanitarian goods as well as construction material and agreed to increase the fishing limit to 6 nautical miles with possibility of increase to 12 nautical miles by the end of the year and to decrease the Military area to 100 meters, allow freedom of movement and a halt to targeted killings and assassinations and negotiations will be held for discussion on rebuilding the seaport and airports and on May 4th 2017, Israeli authorities increased the fishing limit to 9 nautical miles from Wadi Gaza until the south border of the Gaza stripe and on June 26th 2017 Israeli forces decreased the fishing limit back to 6 nautical miles and on October 17th 2017, Israeli forces increased the fishing limit back to 9 nautical miles and on December 12th 2017 reduced fishing area from 9 nautical miles to 6 nautical miles south of Wadi Gaza and opposite to Rafah and on April 11th 2018, Israeli forces increased the fishing area from 6 nautical miles to 9 nautical miles for a period of 3 months.

•Israeli forces broke the ceasefire agreement by raiding Central Gaza district.

NORTHERN GAZA

Closure of Crossing Points

* Beit Hanun (Erez) crossing is partially open for the passage of critical patients, journalists, NGO staff, businesspersons and passengers travelling abroad through Al-Karama crossing with previous coordination.

GAZA

Closure of Crossing Points

* Al-Muntar (Karni) Crossing is closed. Beginning on 02 March 2011, the Crossing has been effectively closed following a unilateral Israeli decision.
* Al-Shija’iya (Nahal ‘Oz) Crossing is closed. Beginning on 04 January 2010, the Crossing has closed following a unilateral Israeli decision.

CENTRAL GAZA

Raid

On the afternoon of June 11th 2018, Israeli forces escorting Military bulldozers stormed 150m into the vicinity of Al-Buriej camp and opened fire as they leveled a plot of land and installed a barbed wire fence.

RAFAH

Closure of Crossing Points

* Yasser ‘Arafat International Airport remains closed.
* Rafah (Al ‘Awdah) Crossing is open for the entry and exit of residents and for the entry of emergency humanitarian and medical supplies.
* Sufa Crossing is closed.
* Karm Abu Salem (Karem Shalom) Crossing is partially open for the entry of goods, fuel, construction material for the private sector and internationally funded projects.
