WEST BANK

JERUSALEM

Detention

1. At 15:20, Israeli forces detained Yahya Imad Al-Deen Ajjaj {a resident of Attil town in Tulkarem district} as he was exiting Al-Aqsa mosque compound in the old city of Jerusalem.
2. At 22:00, Israeli forces detained 4 residents: Ussayedd Zeir, Moaz Zahran, Haroun Hazin, and Obada Abu Assba {all are residents of Qalandiya camp} as they exited Al-Aqsa mosque compound in the old city of Jerusalem.
3. At 22:00, Israeli forces detained Qassam Mohammad Lutfi Qulubana {a Preventive Security Force officer}{a resident of Nablus city} as he exited Al-Aqsa mosque compound in the old city of Jerusalem.
4. At 01:35, Israeli forces detained Hussien Ahmad Basbous {a resident of Al-Jalazoun camp in Ramallah city} in Jerusalem city.

RAMALLAH & AL BIREH

Military Checkpoints

Since May 6 2019,the Israeli occupation forces reopened Al-Mahkama" military checkpoint located near "Beit El" settlement in North Al-Bireh city for all civilians from 10:00 until 22:00 daily during which the checkpoint will be open from 07:00 until 22:00 for those entering Ramallah and Al-Bireh cities.

Raid

At 12:40, Israeli forces raided Al-Mazra'a Al-Gharbiya village and detained 2 residents

Detention

Israeli forces detained 2 residents: Mohammad Hayel Sharteeh and Mohammad Samhan Sharteeh in Al-Mazra'a Al-Gharbiya village.

Attack

At 13:50, Israeli forces positioned in Nil'in village fired stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents {participating in demonstrations against the construction of the wall} for alleged stoning and as a result left several resident suffocated from tear gas inhalation.

QALQILIYA

Attack

At 14:00,Israeli forces positioned at the east entrance of Kafr Qaddum village {which is closed by the Israeli Military} fired rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents {protesting against the continued closure} for alleged stoning and as a result injured 4 residents {including a child} and left several others suffocated from tear gas inhalation.

Injuries

Israeli forces injured 4 unidentified residents {including a child} during clashes near the east entrance of Kafr Qaddum village {which is closed by the Israeli Military} .

NABLUS

Raid

At 17:15, Israeli forces raided Tel village and detained a resident.

Detention

Israeli forces detained Ahmad Musa Ramadan in Tel village.

Settlers Attacks

1. At 11:15, a group of Israeli settlers stormed agricultural land in east Assira Al-Qibliya village and set fire to agricultural crops and stoned several homes during which local residents and Palestinian Civil Defense forces were able to chase the settlers away and put of the fire.
2. On May 17th 2019, a group of Israeli settlers positioned near the entrance of "Homish" settlement {which was abandoned} stoned vehicles travelling along the main road connecting Nablus and Jenin and as a result damaged several vehicles.

SALFIT

Flying Checkpoints

At 17:30, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the east entrance of Marda village then searched residents and vehicles until 18:20.

Settlers Attacks

At dawn on May 17th 2019, a group of Israeli settlers stormed Marda village and spray painted anti-arab and racist slogans on the walls of homes and vehicles.

JERICHO

Flying Checkpoints

At 19:15, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the North entrance of Jericho city then searched residents and vehicles until 20:25.

BETHLEHEM

Flying Checkpoints

1. At 21:00, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint along road {60} in Al-Khader town then searched residents and vehicles until 23:00.
2. At 21:50, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the west entrance of Beit Fajjar town then searched residents and vehicles until 22:50.

HEBRON

Flying Checkpoints

1. At 18:25, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at Halhul town bridge then searched residents and vehicles.
2. At 23:55, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at Al-Fuwar area junction then searched residents and vehicles.

Attack

At 20:15, Israeli forces positioned at the entrance of Beit Awwa town opened fire towards a resident and as a result left him hospitalized with contusions.

Injuries

Israeli forces opened fire towards and injured Adam Awni Idris {a resident of Hebron city} at the entrance of Beit Awwa town.

GAZA STRIP

ALL DISTRICTS

• Since 19:00 on August 26th 2014, Palestinian Gunmen and the Israeli military agreed to a cease fire agreement (brokered by the Arab Republic of Egypt) which includes the opening of border crossings to allow the entry of emergency supplies and humanitarian goods as well as construction material and agreed to increase the fishing limit to 6 nautical miles with possibility of increase to 12 nautical miles by the end of the year and to decrease the Military area to 100 meters, allow freedom of movement and a halt to targeted killings and assassinations and negotiations will be held for discussion on rebuilding the seaport and airports and on May 4th 2017, Israeli authorities increased the fishing limit to 9 nautical miles from Wadi Gaza until the south border of the Gaza strip and on June 26th 2017 Israeli forces decreased the fishing limit back to 6 nautical miles and on October 17th 2017, Israeli forces increased the fishing limit back to 9 nautical miles and on December 12th 2017 reduced fishing area from 9 nautical miles to 6 nautical miles south of Wadi Gaza and opposite to Rafah and on July 17th 2018, Israeli forces reduced the fishing area from 6 nautical miles to 3 nautical miles, On August 15th 2018, Israeli forces increased the fishing area from 3 nautical miles up to 9 nautical miles from the coast of Al-Badeir area located in Central Gaza up to Rafah district located South of the Gaza strip and on October 6th 2018, Israeli forces decreased the fishing limit to 3 nautical miles to the all Gaza strip coasts and on October 23rd 2018 increased the fishing limit to 6 nautical miles to the all Gaza strip and on April 1st 2019 allowed the increase of fishing area from Al-Waha area which is located northwest o Beit Lahiya town in the northern Gaza Strip and up to the port of Gaza to 6 nautical miles , increase from the port of Gaza and to Wadi Gaza to 12 nautical miles, Gaza and up to Khan Yunis beach to 15 nautical miles, and from Khan Yunis beach and south of Rafah beach to 12 nautical miles and on April 30th 2019 reduced the fishing limit to 6 nautical miles.

• Israeli Naval vessels broke the ceasefire agreement by opening fire towards Palestinian fishing boats off the shores of Khan Yunis districts.

NORTHERN GAZA

Closure of Crossing Points

* Beit Hanun (Erez) crossing is partially open for the passage of critical patients, journalists, NGO staff, businesspersons and passengers travelling abroad through Al-Karama crossing with previous coordination.

KHAN YUNIS

Attack

At 02:20 on May 18th 2019,Israeli Naval vessels opened fire towards Palestinian fishing boats off the shores of Khan Yunis city.

* Yasser ‘Arafat International Airport remains closed.
*Rafah (Al ‘Awdah) Crossing is closed.
* Sufa Crossing is closed.
