WEST BANK

Closure

*Since 24:00 on October 3rd 2017, the Israeli Military sealed off the West Bank for the Jewish Holiday {Day of Celebrating the Torah} thus preventing residents and workers including those with entry permits from entering Jerusalem city and Israel with the exception of Foreign Diplomats, Humanitarian and emergency medical cases {with prior security clearance} until 24:00 on October 14th 2017.

JERUSALEM

Military Checkpoints

1. At 12:00, Israeli forces intensified their restrictions at Al-Za'im military checkpoint and impeded the free flow of traffic.
2. On the evening of October 14th 2017,Israeli forces closed Beit Iksa military checkpoint and impeded the free flow of traffic in both directions before opening it at a later time.

Raid

1. At 13:00, Israeli forces raided Al-Eisawiya village and clashed with several residents.
2. At 18:35, Israeli forces raided Al-Eizariya town, clashed with several residents then withdrew at 20:45.

Attack

1. At 13:00, Israeli forces fired stun and tear gas grenades towards several residents for alleged stoning during their raid into Al-Eisawiya village.
2. At 18:35, Israeli forces fired stun and tear gas grenades towards several residents for alleged stoning during their raid into Al-Eizariya town.

RAMALLAH & AL BIREH

Flying Checkpoints

At 17:10, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at Ein Yabroud village bridge then searched residents and vehicles.

Raid

1. At dawn on October 14th 2017, Israeli forces raided Al-Mughier village and detained 2 residents.
2. At 01:35, Israeli forces raided Beitunia town until 06:10.
3. At 02:40, Israeli forces raided Abboud town and detained a resident.

Detention

1. Israeli forces detained Ammar Abu Aliya and Ehab Osama Abu Aliya in Al-Mughier village.
2. Israeli forces detained Mohammad Rashid in Abboud town.

JENIN

Raid

At 04:30, Israeli forces raided Qabatiya town, clashed with several residents as they stormed and searched several homes and detained 4 residents including a child.

Detention

Israeli forces detained 4 residents: Abdel-Qadder Ahmad Abu Al-Rub {17 years old}, Basil Mohammad Kamal Abu Zied, Hamza Mohammad Abu Al-Rub and Iz Al-Din Assad Abu Al-Rub in Qabatiya town.

Attack

At 04:30, Israeli forces fired stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents for alleged stoning as they stormed and searched several homes during their raid into Qabatiya town.

TUBAS

Temporary Detention

At 15:45, Israeli forces temporarily detained 3 residents: Mohammad Ghassan Lafi, Lafi Mufdi Sawafta and Yasser Fareeh Mohammad Khamam as they were paving a road in Khirbeit Al-Deir area located in east Ein Al-Bayda village in the North Jordan valley then released them after confiscating 2 bulldozers.

Confiscation of Property

At 15:45, Israeli forces confiscated 2 bulldozers owned by Lafi Mufdi Sawafta and Yasser Fareeh Mohammad Khamam as they were paving a road in Khirbeit Al-Deir area located in east Ein Al-Bayda village in the North Jordan valley.

TULKAREM

Military Checkpoints

At 12:00, Israeli forces intensified their restrictions at "Enav" military checkpoint and impeded the free flow of traffic until 12:20.

At 17:45, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at Bal'a town junction then searched residents and vehicles until 03:20.

QALQILIYA

Raid

At 24:00, Israeli forces raided Qalqilya city, detained a resident then withdrew at 03:20.

Detention

Israeli forces detained Ibrahim Awad Yusef Dwikat in Qalqilya city.

NABLUS

Flying Checkpoints

1. At 15:15, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint near Deir Sharaf village junction {located along the main road connecting Nablus and Tulkarem} then searched residents and vehicles.
2. At 22:30, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint near "Yitshar" settlement junction, temporarily detained a court judge then released him at a later time.

Temporary Detention

At 22:30, Israeli forces positioned at a flying checkpoint located near "Yitshar" settlement junction, temporarily detained Mohammad Al-Haj Qassim { a court judge} then released him at a later time.

SALFIT

Flying Checkpoints

At 17:30, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Qarwat Bani Hassan then searched residents and vehicles.

BETHLEHEM

Flying Checkpoints

At 09:15, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint near Al-Nashash area junction {located at the south entrance of Bethlehem city} then searched residents and vehicles until 17:40.

Raid

At 05:50, Israeli forces raided Al-Duhisheh camp in Bethlehem city , clashed with several residents as they stormed and searched several homes and as a result injured a resident then detained another resident.

Detention

Israeli forces detained Oday Mustafa Al-Khamour in Al-Dheisheh camp in Bethlehem city.

Attack

At 05:50, Israeli forces fired live ammunition, stun and tear gas grenades towards several residents for alleged stoning as they stormed and searched several homes during their raid into Al-Dheisheh camp in Bethlehem city and as a result injured a resident.

Injuries

Israeli forces injured a unidentified resident in Al-Duhisheh camp in Bethlehem city.

Settlers Attacks

At 17:10, a group of Israeli settlers positioned along the main road near Al-Ju'ba village stoned residents and vehicles and as a result damaged 3 vehicles.

HEBRON

Raid

1. At 09:00, Israeli forces raided Beit Awwa town and detained a resident.
2. At dawn on October 15th 2017, Israeli forces raided Hebron city, stormed and searched several homes and detained 2 residents.
3. At dawn on October 15th 2017, Israeli forces raided Beit Ummar town, stormed and searched several homes , detained 2 residents {including a child} and confiscated a vehicle.

Detention

1. Israeli forces detained Mus'ab Mahmoud Abdel-Azziz Al-Suwati in Beit Awwa town.
2. Israeli forces detained 2 residents: Samer Ibrahim Al-Dajani and Rashid Ismail Abu Hadeed in Hebron city.
3. Israeli forces detained 2 residents: Billal Abdel-Rahman {17 years old} and Mohammad Mahmoud Al-Salibi in Beit Ummar town.

Confiscation of Property

At dawn on October 15th 2017, Israeli forces confiscated a vehicle owned by Mohammad Mahmoud Al-Salibi as they detained him during their raid into Beit Ummar town.

Settlers Attacks

At 23:55, a group of Israeli settlers stormed Al-Tuwani village located near "Magon" settlement in south east Yatta town, threw glass bottles and stones towards homes and vehicles as they were heading towards a local mosque during which Israeli forces fired stun and tear gas canisters towards residents as they attempted to prevent the settlers from attacking the mosque and left several of them suffocated from tear gas inhalation.

Attack

At 23:55, Israeli forces positioned at Al-Tuwani village located near "Magon" settlement in south east Yatta town s fired stun and tear gas canisters towards residents as they attempted to prevent the settlers from attacking the mosque , injured the resident Musa Juma'a Al rebi'ay {fractured hand} and left several of them suffocated from tear gas inhalation.

Closure of main Roads

On October 14th 2017, Israeli forces positioned near Beit Awwa town closed the main roads connecting Beit Awwa with Al-Majd , Sakat Beit Al-Rush and Deir Al-Assal villages with dirt mounds.

GAZA STRIP

ALL DISTRICTS

• Since 19:00 on August 26th 2014, Palestinian Gunmen and the Israeli military agreed to a cease fire agreement (brokered by the Arab Republic of Egypt) which includes the opening of border crossings to allow the entry of emergency supplies and humanitarian goods as well as construction material and agreed to increase the fishing limit to 6 nautical miles with possibility of increase to 12 nautical miles by the end of the year and to decrease the Military area to 100 meters, allow freedom of movement and a halt to targeted killings and assassinations and negotiations will be held for discussion on rebuilding the seaport and airports and on May 3rd 2017, Israeli authorities increased the fishing limit to 9 nautical miles from Wadi Gaza until the south border of the Gaza strip.
• Israeli Naval vessels broke the ceasefire agreement by openeing fire towards Palestinian fishing boats off the shores of North Gaza District.

NORTHERN GAZA

Closure of Crossing Points

* Beit Hanun (Erez) crossing is closed.

Attack

1. At 07:30 on October 14th 2017, Israeli Naval vessels opened fire towards Palestinian fishing boats off the shores of Al-Sudaniya area located in west Beit Lahiya town.
2. At 06:00 on October 15th 2017, Israeli Naval vessels opened fire towards Palestinian fishing boats off the shores of Al-Waha area located in west Beit Lahiya town, detained 4 fishermen and confiscated their fishing boat.

Detention

Israeli forces detained 4 fishermen: Tariq Abdel-Bari Al-Sultan, Mohammad YAssin Al-Sayed , Foad Adnan Al-Sultan and Mahmoud Adnan Al-Sultan ff the shores of Al-Waha area located in west Beit Lahiya town.

Confiscation of Property

At 06:00 on October 15th 2017,Israeli forces confiscated a fishing boat off the shores of Al-Waha area located in west Beit Lahiya town after detaining 4 fishermen.

GAZA

Closure of Crossing Points

* Al-Muntar (Karni) Crossing is closed. Beginning on 02 March 2011, the Crossing has been effectively closed following a unilateral Israeli decision.
* Al-Shija’iya (Nahal ‘Oz) Crossing is closed. Beginning on 04 January 2010, the Crossing has closed following a unilateral Israeli decision.

RAFAH

Closure of Crossing Points

* Yasser ‘Arafat International Airport remains closed.
* Rafah (Al ‘Awdah) Crossing is closed.
* Sufa Crossing is closed.
* Karm Abu Salem (Karem Shalom) Crossing is closed.

Detention

At 05:00 on October 14th 2017, Israeli forces detained 2 unidentified residents as they attempted to climb the border fence from east Rafah as they attempted to enter Israel.
