WEST BANK

JERUSALEM

Closure of District

Since September 26th 2017, Israeli forces declared the village of Beit Surik, a closed military zone (after the death of a resident after he opened fire towards Israeli soldiers near the entrance to the settlement of "Har Adar", which killed 3 soldiers and wounded a fourth - seriously injured), The main and sub-roads leading to it were closed.

Raid

1. At 05:00, Israeli forces raided the town of Hizma and arrested a Palestinian.
2. At 11:00, Israeli forces raided the town of Bidu, clashed with several residents as they stormed several houses, injured a resident. The roofs of two residential buildings owned by Bassam al-Sheikh and Muhammad Salim al-Khadour, To military points.
3. At 12:10, the Israeli occupation forces stormed the village of Beit Surik, where clashes took place with the citizens during a raid on a number of houses. Two citizens (one of them a member of the National Security Forces) were arrested and 3 citizens were handed over. Owned by: Ziad Ismail al-Jamal, Khaled Nazmi Badwan and Khaled Nazmi Badwan. They are still in the village until the report is prepared.

Detention

1. On the evening of September 27th 2017, Israeli forces positioned at Bab Al-Amoud area in Jerusalem city detained Bara Al-Sabah.
2. Israeli forces detained Mohammad Kareem Ahmad Najeeb in Hizma town.
3. Israeli forces detained Jamal Jamil Nu'man Dar Al-Shiekh, Ahmad Fayez Abu Eid and Mohammad Yusef Awad in Dura town.
4. Israeli forces detained 2 residents: Rami Faraj Al-Jamal and Majed Omar Al-Jamal in Beit Surik village.

Deportation

On September 27th 2017, Israeli forces issued a deportation order for Shihat Barikat {A school teacher} banning her from entering Al-Aqsa mosque compound for a period of one month.

Attack

1. At 11:00, Israeli forces fired live ammunition, rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas grenades towards several residents for alleged stoning as they stormed and searched several homes during their raid into Biddu town and as a result injured a resident.
2. At 12:10, Israeli forces fired live ammunition, rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas grenades towards several residents for alleged stoning as they stormed and searched several homes during their raid into Beit Surik village.

Injuries

Israeli forces injured Mohammad Fihmi Daoud Badwan during clashes in Biddu town.

House Occupation

At 11:00, Israeli forces raided Biddu town, occupied the rooftops of 2 homes owned by Bassam Al-Sheikh and Mohammad Saleem Al-Khadour and converted them into Military posts.

Closure of main Roads

On September 27th 2017, Israeli forces closed the main gate entrance leading to the tunnel road connecting the towns and villages in North Jerusalem district with Ramallah and Al-Bireh districts And the dirt road between the town of Bidu and the village of Beit Duqu, and the western valley road between the town of Bidu and the town of Beit Anan and the villages of Kobiba and Beit Dko, and the road between the towns of Beit Anan and Beit Liqya.

Assault on Educational sector

On September 27th 2017, The Israeli forces closed the entrance of the tunnel connecting the towns and villages of northwest Jerusalem (consisting of 16 towns and villages) with the governorate of Ramallah, through an iron gate and the dirt road connecting the town of Bidu and the village of Beit Duqu, West of the town of Bidu, the town of Beit Anan, the villages of Qubeibeh and Beit Duku, and the road connecting the towns of Beit Anan and Beit Liqya, obstructed the study in some 50 schools with more than 4,000 students in schools in the north-west Jerusalem towns and villages, Schools.

Obstruction of Places of Worship

At 09:00, a group of Israeli settlers under the protection of Israeli Military and Police officers stormed Al-Aqsa mosque compound and provoked worshipers.

RAMALLAH & AL BIREH

Raid

1. At dawn on September 27th 2017, Israeli forces raided Deir Abu Mash'al village and detained 2 residents.
2. At 23:50, Israeli forces raided Shuqba village until 06:20.
3. At 05:15, Israeli forces raided Budrus village and detained 3 resident {including a journalist}.

Detention

1. Israeli forces detained Raed Ahmad Salah Al-Barghouthi and Zaqzeider Salim Al-Barghouthi in Deir Abu Mash'al village.
2. Israeli forces detained 3 residents {including a Journalist}: Mohammad Shuqri Awad, Yusef Sahafiq Aliyan and Nadi Mohammad Abdel-Azziz Awad in Budrous village.

JENIN

Raid

1. At 22:10, Israeli forces raided Ya'bad town until 02:10.
2. At 01:50, Israeli forces raided Fahma village and Fahma camp, clashed with several residents as they stormed several homes, summoned Ali Ahmad Nasura {A resident of Fahma village} to report to Israeli Intelligence for questioning then withdrew at 02:10.
3. At 01:30, Israeli forces raided Kafr Ra'i town until 02:10.

Detention

At 05:40 on September 27th 2017, Israeli forces detained 2 residents {including a child}: Qusay Billal Al-Sa'di {14 years old} and Nour Saber Jarbou' during their raid into Jenin city {As mentioned in the previous report}.

Attack

At 01:05, Israeli forces fired rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas grenades towards several residents for alleged stoning as they stormed and searched several homes during their raid into Fahma village and Fahma camp.

Assaults on Property

At 10:00, Israeli forces placed cement blocks and a 400 m long and 3 m high barbed wire fence along the main road connecting Ya'bad and Imrehat village thus preventing farmers from accessing their agricultural land.

TUBAS

Military Checkpoints

At 19:20, Israeli forces intensified their restrictions at Tayassir Military checkpoint and impeded the free flow of traffic.

Raid

1. At 12:40, Israeli forces raided Khirbet Attouf village.
2. At 18:20, Israeli forces raided Bardala village.
3. At 22:30, Israeli forces raided Al-Buqiy'a area located in east Tammoun town.

Attack

At 10:30, Israeli forces positioned in Al-Sahil area located in the North Jordan Valley area fired stun and tear gas grenades towards several residents for alleged stoning during demonstrations protesting against settlement construction then detained 2 residents including a journalist.

Detention

Israeli forces detained 2 residents {including a journalist}: Husam Abdel-Nassr Daraghma {A resident of Tubas city} and Alaa Badarna {A journalist} during demonstrations in Al-Sahil area located in the North Jordan Valley area protesting against settlement construction.

Confiscation of Property

At 06:30 on September 27th 2017, Israeli forces confiscated a agricultural tractor and a water tank truck owned by Jamil Mahmoud Salem Sawafta in Khilat Al-Khanzir area located near Bardala village in the north Jordan valley area.

Destruction of Property

On the evening of September 27th 2017, Israeli forces stormed Khirbet Atouf village and levelled a water pipe network used for agricultural purposes and also leveled agricultural road used by farmers to access their agricultural land.

TULKAREM

1. At 19:25,Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Shufa village then searched several residents and vehicles until 19:45.
2. At 19:25, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Safranin village then searched several residents and vehicles until 20:15.

At 12:55, Israeli forces raided Attil town until 14:45.

Detention

At 14:10, Israeli forces detained Soliman Omar Thiyab {A resident of Tulkarem city} as he was reporting to Israeli Intelligence for questioning based on a prior summon.

QALQILIYA

Flying Checkpoints

At 19:20, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Habala town then searched residents and vehicles.

Raid

1. At 16:50, Israeli forces raided Hablah town.
2. At 21:30, Israeli forces raided Jayyous town.
3. At 00:20, Israeli forces raided Qalqilya city until 05:40.

Settlers Attacks

At 10:50, Israeli settlers stormed agricultural land and stole Olive harvest owned by Salah Salem Ishtewi.

NABLUS

Raid

At 01:00, Israeli forces raided Nablus city as they escorted a group of Israeli settlers who stormed "Joseph's Tomb" and clashed with several residents then withdrew at a later time.

Attack

At 01:00, Israeli forces fired rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas grenades towards several residents for alleged stoning{ as they attempted to prevent Israeli settlers from storming Joseph's tomb in Nablus city}.

Settlers Attacks

At 18:15, a group of Israeli settlers stormed agricultural land in Al-Mansra area located in south Kafil Qalil village and surrounded several residents {including}: Ziyad Fathi Mansour then withdrew at a later time.

1. At 11:45, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint beneath Iskaka village then searched residents and vehicles.
2. At 23:25, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Qarwat Bani Hassan town then searched residents and vehicles.

JERICHO

Flying Checkpoints

At 10:40, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the North entrance of Jericho city then searched residents and vehicles until 11:00.

At 01:15, Israeli forces raided Fasayil village.

BETHLEHEM

Military Checkpoints

At 10:00, Israeli forces intensified their restrictions at Container Military checkpoint and impeded the free flow of traffic.

1. At 14:20, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at Aqbat Al-Jaber area located near the entrance of Husan village then searched residents and vehicles until 16:00.
2. At 17:20, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the west entrance of Beit Fajjar town then searched residents and vehicles.

Confiscation of Property

On September 27th 2017, Israeli forces positioned at Al-Makhrour area located in west Beit Jallah city confiscated a bulldozer owned by Ramzi Qaysiya as he was working on agricultural land constructing a concrete wall.

HEBRON

Flying Checkpoints

At 12:05, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at Al-Sahab junction located in Hebron city, seized a Palestinian Police vehicle then released them at a later time.

Raid

1. At 09:55, Israeli forces raided Hebron city , set up a checkpoint then withdrew at 13:55.
2. At 13:35, Israeli forces raided Al-Karmil village located in south east Yatta town.
3. At 14:35, Israeli forces raided Hananiya area in Dura town and detained 2 residents.
4. At 00:30, Israeli forces raided Bani Na'im, Yatta and Al-Thahriya towns.
5. At 00:40, Israeli forces raided Surif town.

Detention

Israeli forces detained 2 residents: Maher Musa Daud Abu Raba'ya and Musa Maher Musa Daud Abu Raba'ya in Hananiya area in Dura town.

Provocation of Palestinian Forces

At 12:05, Israeli forces positioned at a flying checkpoint located at Sabah junction in Hebron city seized a Palestinian Police vehicle then released them at a later time.

Obstruction of Places of Worship

On September 26th 2017, Israeli forces closed the Ibrahimi Mosque in the Old City of Hebron, in front of citizens and prevented them from praying inside, on the pretext of enabling the settlers to celebrate and perform the Talmudic rites on the site on the occasion of Jewish holidays.

GAZA STRIP

ALL DISTRICTS

• Since 19:00 on August 26th 2014, Palestinian Gunmen and the Israeli military agreed to a cease fire agreement (brokered by the Arab Republic of Egypt) which includes the opening of border crossings to allow the entry of emergency supplies and humanitarian goods as well as construction material and agreed to increase the fishing limit to 6 nautical miles with possibility of increase to 12 nautical miles by the end of the year and to decrease the Military area to 100 meters, allow freedom of movement and a halt to targeted killings and assassinations and negotiations will be held for discussion on rebuilding the seaport and airports and on May 3rd 2017, Israeli authorities increased the fishing limit to 9 nautical miles from Wadi Gaza until the south border of the Gaza strip.

• Israeli Naval vessels broke the ceasefire agreement by openeing fire towards Palestinian fishing boats off the shores of North Gaza district.

NORTHERN GAZA

Closure of Crossing Points

* Beit Hanun (Erez) crossing is partially open for the passage of critical patients, journalists, NGO staff, businesspersons and passengers travelling abroad through Al-Karama crossing with previous coordination.

Attack

At 08:30 on September 27th 2017, Israeli Naval vessels opened fire towards Palestinian fishing boats off the shores of Al-Sudaniya area located in West Beit Lahiya town.

Detention

At 21:00 on September 27th 2017, Israeli forces detained a unidentified residents in North Beit Lahiya town as he attempted to climb the border fence into Israel.

GAZA

Closure of Crossing Points

* Al-Muntar (Karni) Crossing is closed. Beginning on 02 March 2011, the Crossing has been effectively closed following a unilateral Israeli decision.
* Al-Shija’iya (Nahal ‘Oz) Crossing is closed. Beginning on 04 January 2010, the Crossing has closed following a unilateral Israeli decision.

RAFAH

Closure of Crossing Points

* Yasser ‘Arafat International Airport remains closed.
* Rafah (Al ‘Awdah) Crossing is closed.
* Sufa Crossing is closed.
* Karm Abu Salem (Karem Shalom) Crossing is partially open for the entry of goods, fuel, construction material for the private sector and internationally funded projects.
